Reporting Install fails - Data Reader account is not the same as in management group

We recently upgraded from SCOM 2012 SP1 to R2, but I'm unable to get the reporting role installed. I get to the part where I enter the Data Reader account credentials, then get the error "Data Reader account provided is not same as that in the management
group." No matter what I do I cannot get passed this error.
Here is what I have tried so far:
- I have verified the correct DR account is set in the Data Warehouse Report deployment account and profile.
- I have deleted the DR account from the profile and added it back.
- Verified all permissions are setup properly on the SQL server for all databases, included reporting.
- Completely uninstalled SSRS and re-installed.

you must distribute the Run As account to ensure that all members of the resource pool (All Management Servers Pools) have access to the permissions in the Run As account.

  • Windows 8.1 Install Fails, 8 Installs fine. (Not the usual CMPXCHG16b, PrefetchW, and LAHF/SAHF problem)

    Hi All,
I have 2 machines with this problem now, both 64 bit (one a Pentium D, and one a Core 2 Duo), they both used to run Windows 7 x64, and both now have clean installed Windows 8 x86 on them (because I didnt install x64 as this a) didnt boot the installers)
and b) wouldnt run as these both seem to not have one of the CMPXCHG16b, PrefetchW, and LAHF/SAHF instructions.
I'm happy with them running x86 but would like them to be running windows 8.1..
Now I'm an MSDN subscriber, so I have downloaded and tried to boot the x86 versions of 8.1 (all editions), and all of them abort during boot at the blue flag with a "sorry your pc has had a problem and needed to restart"
I then thought I could install 8 and upgrade it in place using the store, so I installed 8 pro, and downloaded the update, which reboots the PC (happens same on both), and then crashes during boot at the same point.
I understand that the x86 version doesnt need the extra CPU instructions.. so why doesnt it work?
    Any ideas?
    Thanks, Sam

    Hi
    Auggy,
    Thanks for your reply.
There are no memory dumps in that location.. (there are no .dmp files anywhere under the $Windows.~BT folder)
There are some other files which look like other logs though so I will have a look in
those see if anything jumps out at me as a problem.
Is there any way I can collapse the code block above? Its a bit huge and Id like
to collapse it to make this more readable (id also post the other logs if so so
that I dont clutter the thread too much with logs.. )
    Thanks

  • My icloud-account is not the same as my apple-account

I want to use AirDrop, so I have to log-in with my icloud-account.
On the iphone, the login of my icloud-account is an old emailadress which I don't use anymore. And I can't remember the pasword of this icloudaccount. So it's not possible to delete this account on my iphone and make a new one withe my current apple-account. Could someone help me?

    Do the following:
Make sure you are signed into iMessage and FaceTime with your current ID.  If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.)  Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID).  Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account if you are not running iOS 8) and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your device).

         2. Fill out and submit this form. Select the topic, Account Security. You must
have a Rescue Email to use this option.

You can set it up so that Apple calls you, either immediately or at a time
             convenient to you.

  • SCOM 2012 R2 Reporting services installation error - data reader account

I have successfully installed SCOM 2012 R2 and SQL 2012 SP1 on the same server. I was trying to install the reporting server piece of SCOM.
When I get to the part that asks for a domain account, I get this error:
"Data Reader account provided is not same as that in the management server"
The account is not the same as the management server, and it does have read access to the data warehouse and reporting databases. Is there some other permission this account needs for reporting services?
    Thanks.

    Adding more info:
I usually create the following account for SQL:
AD accounts for the following to be used with SQL Services:
SQL Agent for SQL Server Agent
SQL Analysis Services for SQL Server Analysis
SQL Database Engine for SQL Server Database Engine
SQL Reporting Services for SQL Server Reporting Services
For SCOM I create the following accounts:
SCOM DR - Used to deploy reports
SCOM DWR - for writing data from the management server to the reporting DW
SCOM MSA - Performs default actions
SCOM SDK - Used for updating/reading information from the operations Manager Database - Needs to be local administrator on the SCOM server

  • Verify Data Reader Account

Is there a way to verify which account SCOM thinks is the data reader account?  I'm having an issue installing SCOM Reporting as it's telling me the account I'm providing during the install is not the same account that's specified in the management
group.  Could this be verified somewhere in a SQL table?

    Hi There,
Data Warehouse Action Account - is for the Data writer account.
Data Warehouse Report Deployment Account - is for the Data reader account.
So i would suggest you double click the Data Warehouse Report Deployment Account and see what account
    is present there.
And go to SSMS and verify if the below permissions are given for correct function.
    Refer for permissions with screenshots.

  • Intercompany Matching Report Balance is not the same as Plug account

Hi - we are running an ICP Matching report (standard setup without any custom consolidation logic).  The balance in the report does not tie to the balance for the Plug account that we ran the report for - Intercompany report uses plug account as the parameter to generate the report.
For this grouping of accounts, we have both P/L and Balance sheet accounts plugging to the same Interco plug account.  While we understand this is not standard practice, mixing the different account types in the same Plug account, could this be causing our issue?
Does the IC Plug accounts generate Periodic values for Income Statement accounts?
    Any guidance is much appreciated.

We separated the expense account from the liability accounts - we also created a rule to capture the prior year YTD plug account balance in the current month.  This solved our issue.

I need to re-install my inDesign 5.5 but don't have my licence no for the previuos version (3). My 5.5 has been registered on my Adobe-account, but not the CS3, what can i do?

Why do you need InDesign CS (that is version 3) or InDesign CS3 (that is Version 5) to install InDesign CS5.5 (it is version 7.5)?
If it is an upgrade and asks you to input your serial of an older version, you have to get an find it. No one will help you here. If you can't find it and if you have not registered it, you are out of luck. You will have to spend money for a new version.

  • ACR 8.4 CC RC install fails with AAM message 'patch not applicable'

ACR 8.4 CC RC install fails with AAM message 'patch not applicable' - Running Photoshop CC on OSX 10.7.5
Anyone seen this or have any ideas for a fix?
I also have my legacy CS6 installed on the same Mac - tried installing ACR 8.4 CS6 RC and that fails with the same dialogue box from AAM
The DNG converter installs no issue.
    Thx
    Chris.

Do you have some other software, like Photoshop Elements 12 on your system that would generally also be compatible with ACR 8.4 final but isn’t compatible with the RC because the RC’s only for PS users?
I installed the RC the same day it was released on my computer that has PS-CS6 & PS-CC with Windows 7 and it worked ok, so the update generally works, but something isn’t on your systems.
Are you up-to-date with your PS-CC version, which seems to be 14.2.1:
    http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/2014/02/photoshop-cc-14-1-1-update-now-available.html
And is CS6 updated to 13.0.6?

You should be able to install Mac OS X 10.7 or later on your 2011 MacBook Pro without issue, if it came with 10.6.3 as your signature suggests.  Mind you, any 2011 MacBook Pro must use the original 10.6 installer disc labelled MacBook Pro if it desires to have 10.6 installed on it.   The retail installer disc will not work on that model, nor will one from another age MacBook Pro, or other model labelled installer.  Also
10.7 came both on USB Flash drive and Mac App Store installer versions.   Both required either 10.6.6 minimum be pre-installed, or no Mac OS X operating system on the drive or partition it was to be installed on.
10.7.1 through 10.7.5 combo could be installed only once 10.7 had been installed.  A combo update is available for installing on top of any version of 10.7.  Otherwise only the preceding version could be updated to the next.
10.8 came only on Mac App Store installer.  It is available only to 10.6.8 and later users.
10.8.1 to 10.8.5 combo could be installed only once 10.8 had been installed.  A combo update is available for installing on top of any version of 10.8.  Otherwise only the preceding version could be updated to the next.
10.9 came only on Mac App Store installer. It is available only to 10.6.8 and later users.
Both 10.9 and 10.9.1 had a serious security vulnerability, which only 10.9.2 addressed.
10.9.2 combo could be installed only once 10.9 had been installed.
For all three Mac App Store releases, the partition to be installed on had to be GUID partition formatted according to Apple Disk Utility.

  • Error: "install failed mac os x could not be installed on your computer"

Wanted to post an error I repeatedly got in case anyone else out there has the same issue. Went to do a snowleopard (10.6) upgrade and clean install on a mac pro (coming from 10.5). After about the "26 minutes left" mark I repeatedly got the following error:
"install failed mac os x could not be installed on your computer
the installer could not copy the necessary support files
click restart to restart your computer and try installing again"
i searched a bunch for this and could not find any definitive answers or help.
the log file was very vague, referring to errors writing package(s).
at first i thought it was a bad DVD drive as it was making a bunch of noise and taking a long time to boot. So i went and purchased a new DVD drive and successfully installed it. nope, same issue. then i pulled out all of my 3rd party RAM. nope. then i tried swapping the RAM into different configurations, nope.
after many many hours of various methods and re-partitioning, etc, just for the heck of it i replaced the harddrive, and it worked!
So, for those of you out there who get this error, try troubleshooting your hardware, try swapping your harddrive.

If your Hotmail account worked previously and it suddenly stopped and gave you that message, then it is likely a problem at th Hotmail end. Did you check the Hotmail website or contact Hotmail directly to see if they are experiencing problems?
