Reports dont work in CR for VS2010 after converting application from VS2008

I upgraded my application from Visual Studio 2008 (using CR 2008 version 10.5.3700) to Visual Studio 2010 (using Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0 version 13.0.2000).
There were no other changes implemented from the old version. The reports used to work in the previous version. But after the upgrade our reports showed blank data. The labels are being printed , but no data is displayed.
Please let me know if this is a known issue and what I can try to make this work with the latest version of Crystal reports for VS2010.

When you get the blank report in your app, export it to CR file format. then open the report in the CR designer. Are the DB fields visible in the designer? If not, then CR stripped these out. CR will do this, if the data format presented to it does not match what it is expecting. if one period is selected, Report is working fine, but when range of periods is
given in selection screen, amount is showing wrong value.
2)<b>Balance_Sheet and 3) P&L_Statement report</b>Same problem
E.g Mar07 period will give the results for March08 period and Mar06 period will give the results for Mar07.

Hi,
check for your variable restrictions in the report key figures.
It will show up according to the rsctriction put there.
Try to verify the vlaues with the key figures and if they are amtching then you have some issues with the data loads.
But with your explanation it seems its just the you are looking at the wrong key figure( for actuals you are looking at previous year values)
Or you are using wrong restrcition values at the key figure level( indicators indicating prior values used for actual values).

Mail no longer works after migrating applications from Mountain Lion

This weekend I bought a Mac Pro 2.1. I upgraded it to Lion then migrated all my files and applications from my iMac (running Mountain Lion). Now the Mail app doesn't work. I can't uninstall it and Software update says everything is up to date. How can I get my Mail app to work again? I guess I've somehow copied the Mail app from the Mountain Lion mac which is why it won't run.

No unfortunately after the OS is installed the installer package is removed so you'll need to go through the whole procedure again.
There is a way to save the installer and make a bootable flash drive you can install off of. You should be able to find the procedure if you search here or on the net.

Do you have the problem with all JSP pages, or only a few of them ?
Does it happen in the Embedded OC4J only ?
Could you try to deploy your application in the Standalone OC4J and test it from there ?
I had a similar issue where the Embedded OC4J was unnable to run big JSP pages.
There was no problem with the Standalone OC4J.

Acrobat 8 Unable to Search for words after convertion from mircrosoft word

Hi all,
I got a problem with a user using Adobe Acrobat 8 search function. he converted his Microsoft Word document to PDF file. But he is unable to search/find most of the words after convention, even thou the word is right there it will just say it cannot find any matches.
His colleague have acrobat 7 and it has no such problem at all.
Erm is there any setting to for me to change or is there a need to update any patches? One more thing the Word document is make up of textboxs so is this the cause?
I would like some Expert here to give some advise/help here as i cannot downgrade to acrobat 7.

2 Tried Using create Pdf -->Select the file, but the result is still the same. However
3 i tired to use Adobe PDF(printer) I am able to seach everything.
I haven tell the user the workround for no3, but i dun think he wants it and some need to adjust the margins.

G5 starts keeps asking for restart after 1st. application is started

I have a three year old G5 that has always worked fine, suddenly this week the fan started racing at high speed and locked up, the only way I could stop it was to unplug it. Since that time it starts normally including fully loading up all programs and files on the desktop and even runs through my Ding fare info from SW but if I try using any program within a moment or two the screen will shade dark gray and tells me in three languages that I need to hold the power button for several seconds to restart my computor then the whole process starts over again with the same results. Anyone know whats wrong with it and how fix it? Thanks

Hyperlinks dont work in captivate 6 , when created using import from powerpoint 2013

We are trying to create a captivate presentation by importing a powerpoint presentation that has hyperlinks in it. However, it seems that the hyperlinks don't work when the project is published as a swf file. When you mouse over the hyperlink, the mouse changes the cursor to a hand, but when you click it, nothing happens ? Anyone had the same problem ?

If you are testing this locally, perhaps you need to configure the Flash Player Trusted Location settings?

Getting charged for sevice after I switched from verizon

I canceled my verizon service as of March 10th. I just received a past due notice from Verizion stating I owe the full amount, including 3/11 - 3/26, even though I was no longer in service. They still expect me to pay.
I called customer service and the first person I spoke to said they could prorate my account, she put me on hold for the supervisor and I got disconnected. Called back and was told a whole different story on why I was being charged a past due amount. Finally got a supervisor who said too bad, that's how the bill gets automatically generated and I have to pay for the service up to the end of the next billing period, there is nothing anyone can do. And amazingly they just had a big meeting earlier today going over how they can't credit customers back current charges for services they do not have? Why should I have to pay for a canceled service??? So frustrated right now!

We have an application developed on workshop 8.1 worked fine. when we upgrade the application to 9.2, the application can not be deployed on weblogic server. The error is

Correct Directory Structure for Serving a Web Application from Arch?

At the moment I have an Apache web server hosting PHP based web pages out of /srv/http. This works for what I am doing at the moment, but i was wondering if there was a more professional\correct way to host a web application on Arch.
When would someone host a page in /srv/http vs /var/www ? ( is /www even widely used on archlinux) ?
Or is their a better way all together ( I read something about symbolic linking the 2 directories)?
Can anyone provide a sample of how they decided to set up their basic web directories ?
Any help is very much appreciated !

It mainly depends on the webserver you're using. There's nothing about the difference between /srv/http versus /var/www. As far as the web user is concerned they don't even know what directory structure you're using.
