Is there any query which can generate list of all table names relating to BP?
For example tables like BUT000,020,051 etc which are related to BP. I know a list of 14-15 table names but do not know the name of each and every field that is existing in BP.
By writing a query can we get a list of all such table names for all the fields which appear in Field Grouping (which may be Role specfic)

Query to get all tables related to a given table directly or indirectly

Does anyone have a query to get a list of tables that are directly or indirectly related to a given table by foreign keys?
I used a CONNECT BY clause to get a list of all child tables and their child tables and so forth by going against the ALL_CONSTRAINTS table. I then UNIONed the result with another query that got all the parents/grandparents etc. for this table.
I realized that I then need to get all the other child tables of these parent tables and their children and it sort of ran into an endless number of unions because we're traversing up and down a tree and are starting out from the middle.
Is there a better way to do this?

Hello!
Do you know transaction SUIM. From there you can find all roles with a given authorization. If you need a function maybe you can look which functions are used behind SUIM. For the tables check the table behind the fields in the transaction with F1.

Try the BBP_PD* tables:
Example:-
BBP_PDHGP   Header data
BBP_PDIGP   Item data
BBP_PDACC   Accounting data
BBP_PDBEI   Backend item data
You can check with SE11 all relevant tables.
You can access these tables with guids. You get these guids from the
tables CRMD_ORDERADM_H and CRMD_ORDERADM_I.

Delete user and all his related data form the relation table

HI All,
I have user and for the user i have 3 more tables with additional fields that relate to the user
the the user is a key on the 3 tables and relate with foreign key .
in case i want to delete the user and i want that all the user data from all the related table will be deleted how can i do that ?

The user is in Z DB tables so i cant delete it with this bapi,
The problem is when i have 4 table and i want to delete the user from them like that :
DELETE FROM: (sv_user_table_name) WHERE userid = iv_user_id,
               (sv_add_fld_table_name) WHERE userid = iv_user_id,
               (sv_att_table_name) WHERE userid = iv_user_id,
               (sv_app_attributes_table_name) WHERE userid = iv_user_id.
IF sy-subrc <> 0.
    RAISE EXCEPTION TYPE .....
if the user are exist in the first and the second table and not in the third and four
i get the sy-subrc = 4 despite the user has deleted from the first and seconed tables
there is nice way to overcome this issue ?

Required information of tables related to PC and IP

We requires some tables info in order to get a better understanding on how information regarding process chains and infopackages is stored in BW.
Only relevant tables that can be used for example for <b>weekly quality checks</b> and that can be especially useful after transports.
So that we can do quality checks in a very fast way without having to go into each infopackage or processchain

IDOC related to workflow task

Is there any table or report which gives IDOC nos related to workflow task?

Sreedevi, it depends what you want (where you start from), so please be more specific in your question next time (or if this doesn't answer your question).
If you have a work item number and want to know the IDoc number you can use function module SAP_WAPI_OBJECTS_IN_WORKITEM to get a list of all object references. Then you have to process it from there. You can make a flexible solution which is compatible with future added IDoc types by checking the object type of each object returned and traversing the inheritance hierarchy until you get to object type IDOC. Then you know it is an IDoc, and you can find the IDoc number as the key of the object. Or you can hardcode supported object types using a CASE or IF statement. The flexible solution would be much more fun to program in my opinion.
If you have an IDoc number and want to find work items you have to go the other way. That means starting with object type IDOC, finding all the inherited object types and for each of these using function module SAP_WAPI_WORKITEMS_TO_OBJECT. Again, another possibility is to hardcode the list of object types you want to check.
The table Rose told you about, HRS1201, contains no IDoc numbers, but it contains all the tasks with the methods they use. So actually you can use that to find all the object types you need to check (whether they are inherited from IDOC), since all work items will refer to a task definition.

How to search all columns of all tables in a database for a keyword?

Dear Team,
i have an requirement that : i want to search all the columns of all the tables in the particular database based on the specific key word or an free text.
example :
table 1: columns data
empname sam
empid 01
table 2 columns data
deptname sam

organization name sam
organization id 1
when i search for text " SAM"
it should search me from the entire database, all tables and columns of it and display the result
output : tablename cloumn value

the example is just an sample not the real data .

the basic requirement that we required is ,
the user will just type the keyword( value in the coumn) he required and it should search all the tables and columns of the table in the database and i have to show this in the front ent in the table format. here the user will analyse the information based on the search .
it is just like the google search we does( type the keyword in free text) it will display the result.
so for that i have to search entire table and columns in the whole database.
please if any one provides me the solution it will be help full for me.

Table Updation through Workflow

Hi All,
I have a scenario in my project in which a workflow is to be triggered when an entry is made in a table.
Now this workflow has to read some data from some tables and then update some other tables.
My doubt is it possible through workflows to update the tables? If yes is it advisable.Also how will the
updation happen? Should methods for updation will be written in BO methods? Or should a task be called
which does the same.

Yes it is possible!
To trigger workflow from table updates you can use table level events. Refer to
Re: WorkFlow when Data is changed in Table or program
Also you can update a table from a workflow. To do this, create an Activity step in workflow. In this, you can call a BO method. This BO method would store the code to update the database table required.
Just take care of the bindings between the method -> task -> workflow container.

Finding Table relation in SAP

hi!!
I'm new to SAP. I only have SAP tables and i don't have access to the frontend..
I wanna know the tables relation i.e how to join two tables..
Suppose, if i want to know all the relations VNVK has, where should i start?
i can only view the primary keys and not the foreigh keys for all the tables..
I read some posts from this forum and got this information:

. You wish to 'join' these tables.
What is your business requirement? Which tables do you intend to 'join'? Although I guess it is theoretically possible, I can't think of any reason why anyone would wish to manipulate SAP table data at the server level. I seriously question whether such access complies with the terms of your SAP and database licence agreements. You do have a licence, right?
If you really have a legitimate business need for SAP table data, then you must have the appropriate person assign you an SAP logon ID, you must get frontend access, and then use SAP development tools to create the data structures you seek. Using a non-standard tool to manipulate SAP data can render your system un-usable.

Tables Related to Transactions (OPP)

Hi
Our requirement is like this :-
we need to get all the values of a perticular transactions ex:-Opportunity
from the Data base tables.
As i checked in CRMD_ORDERADM_H & CRMD_ORDERADM_I, i passed the GUID num but i found few tables only.
Is there any procedure to see all the relavent tables pertaining to the Transactions.
As a functional consultant i dont know much obout on this.
If Possible pls tell me how to lik the tables
Please help me to get out from this issue.

and Pass the guid in Header_guid.
