Require Detail Information for Upgrading 9.2.0.5 to 11.1.0.7 on AIX

Dear Masters .
Please can any one help me regarding the Up gradation..
We had RAC Production database with version 9.2.0.5 with HACMP cluster on Aix 5.1 (64bit) i want to Upgrade Rac Database with 11.1.0.7 version on New servers of AIX 5.3(64 bit) HACMP P5 series server .
please Let me know or proved me with some valuable documents that will help me in this upgrade .

To upgrade from 9.2 to 11.1 it can be done by export/import straightly and it's cross plateform.
But export/import can be long if your database is rather large (> 100 GB).
Else, if you want to use other migration technique as Transportable Tablespace you must care on the
Plateform compatibility and, it seems to me that plateform compatibilty is possible starting with 10g.
I'm not an AIX expert and, I'm not sure that datafiles in AIX 5.1 are compatible with AIX 5.3 even in
Oracle 9.2.
The problem is that neither Oracle 11.1 nor an intermediate release (10.1 or 10.2) are certified on AIX 5.1.
So you'll have to change Oracle Release and Plateform version in one step. Export/Import seems to me safer
in this kind of situation.

  • Required serial numbers for upgrade

    Years ago I got FCP and was too busy to use it.
    Now I want to upgrade to FCP studio and have the old serial numbers out of the old box.
    Will I be able to do that?
    I'll also be upgrading to the latest operating system too.

    You should be fine. The upgrade to FCS3 states:
    "The Final Cut Studio upgrade provides an upgrade path from Final Cut Studio 2, Final Cut Studio 1, Production Suite, or any prior version of Final Cut Pro. Academic and Not-For-Resale (NFR) versions are not eligible for upgrade."
    "Any prior version of Final Cut Pro" would, I assume, reach all the way back to Final Cut Pro 1. I can't see how they could mean anything else. You could call Apple to confirm this, but I'm pretty sure this must be the way it is. "Any" means "any"!

    I am currently a staff member at a university and therefore am elegible to purchase a student/teacher edition of CS5 Master Collection. However, I want to be sure that when the next upgrade comes along, if I am not employed by an educational institution anymore - then what happens? Am I not allowed to upgrade my product because I wouldn't have an ID any more? In which case, I would then have to buy the full version so I might as well just buy it now and pay less later.
    Or am I able to upgrade from the teacher/student version to a full version, but still pay less because it is an upgrade?

    Academic versions carry full upgrade rights should you no longer be eligible for academic pricing.
    IOW, there is no difference between your academic version and full commercial version when it comes time to upgrade.

  • Production order exist, but I can't get the detail information for order

    Hi expert,
        Today I met a question, when i create a production order, the number of the production order was created, but I couldn't search the production order number. In adddtion,  the production order can normally expolode routing and bom, and the message occured "The system updated,please delay".
       Expert, please help me solve the problem. I think there is something changes made in our sap system.

    Is it a new program or an existing one that worked before?
    If it is new, possible that an error occurred during the creation, thereby the COMMIT WORK was not issued and saved in the database.  The document number was generated prior to the COMMIT WORK.
    Should get your abapper to have a look at it.
    Put a break-point after the Production Order is created, and prior to the COMMIT WORK.  Check for error messages that may have been captured by the program, but NOT reported to the user.

  • Where can I get detailed information on using  new 2.2 features/upgrades?

    For example, the new Return to Home feature in Safari. I don't get this one at all. Pushing the Home button while browsing in Safari takes me to the regular Home (menu) page like it always did. Since I can't find any instructions or detailed information for this feature I don't have a clue as to what I'm supposed to do/see. One would think that every new feature/upgrade in version 2.2 would be adequately explained somewhere. ??

    I guess I should explain it better. I know that if I'm in a app and hit the Home button it will take me make to the Main Menu screen. What's happening is that if I on, say, page 3 of a website and hit the Home button, it takes me all the way back to the Main Menu screen. I expected, based on what I've read about this new feature, that if I was a page 3 of a website and hit the Home button that it would take me to the first page of the website. I'm just really confused about this new feature as it doesn't seem to do anything that I'm noticing.

    So in detail section, it is shown based on the hierarchy organization (AAA) - Project (1234, 456) - Tasks - Category - Resources.
    In the summary section, I'd like to remove the "Project" level and summarize all the amount under resources for the organization, meaning that I'd like to know the sum(actual_cost_amt), sum(accurual_cost_amt) for the entire organization and not for a specific project.
    1 - Is it possible to accomplish that with the detail data template ? Is so, I can I sum these amounts and regroup information and skip project notion ?

    I've to create another query in the data template to get what I want.

    I managed to have the solution. Using a for-each-group like below. It regroup all the resource name under any projects.
