RESB and EKKO and EKPO

Hi all,
When PR convert to PO, the pur order document field in RESB not updated. Why the field exist in the RESB but no being used ?
I was trying to link RESB to EKKO , EKPO, any idea how to link ?

HI,
To find link between any 2 or more tables:
1)     Go to SQVI transaction.
2)     Create a quick view ztest.
3)     Give description.
4)     Select data source as table join. Enter
5)     Now one screen will come with blank data (blue screen)
6)     Enter <Table1> and <Table2>.
8)     Click on define condition.
9)     Now an image will come with links between <Table1> and <Table2>.

We are developing a canvass sheet and the customer requires that the discount amount (both item and header) be displayed in the report. We know that the table for conditions is KONV. However we cannot find the link between KONV and EKPO/EKKO (RFQ). Can you help us with this.

Thanks for your immediate response. We have tried looking at that field but for RFQ, the field KNUMV is blank even if a condition is maintained for the RFQ. Is there any other way to connect EKKO/EKPO and KONV? Or how do we code our program to compute for the item and header discounts in RFQ?

Business content referring RESB and MBEW tables for MM

Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement where i need to extract data from RESB and MBEW tables.
Is there any business content extractor which takes data from these tables. or the data can be compensated from other tables like EKBE,EKKO,EKPO or MSEG. please let know. Help or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You'll have to use 0CO_PC_ACT_05 (Material Valuation: Prices) for MBEW note that it doesn't support delta.
For RESB you might look at 0PS_COMPONT_ATTR, but I'm not really shure

MCE3 and EKPO table

Hi all,
I created a query to see amount of PO's that have been created along with the value using table EKPO, EBKN and EKKO
Fields
EKPO-EBELP
EKPO-EBELN
EKPO-AEDAT
EKPO-BRTWR
EKPO-NETWR
EBKN-ERNAM
I run the query within a date range and get a result.
I then run MCE3 with the same date range and expect to get the same results but I am getting something completely different.
Any ideas why the two reports would be differnt?

Hi Peter,
Please try to fetch KNUMV from EKKO for the respective PO.
Now the field KNUMV will be entered in the table KNOV.
From KNOV table sum of KWERT will give the total net value.

Problem In Enhacing field EKPO - BRTWR and EKPO-MWSKZ

I want to enhace two fields ekpo-brtwr and ekpo-mwskz for Purchasing data source 2lis_02_itm .BUt Datasource dosnt contain field value not even as hidden filed.
I tried to direct entry by structure maintain for that two fields but its not allowing me ...
give any solution to Enhace these fields .

It will not allow to enter this fields directly
Do following steps
double click the data source in Rsa6
double click the extractstructure name
this will open Extractstructure in Data Dictionary
Click on append structure button
Give a name to append structure
This will create a new struture
Enter the New fields u want to Append
like ZZBRTWR give reference of ZZWAERS in currency/quantity fields tab
ZZWAERS
ZZMWSKZ
Now you need to Code in exit to populate fields using CMOD or BADI

EKKN-EBELN ( Purchase Order )
EKKN-ANLN1 ( Main Asset Number )

You can try using VBFA table. give input as VBELN = deliver no.,POSNN = item no.and VBTYP_N = 'J' and VBTYP_V = 'V'. Then VBELV,POSNV will give you the purchase order no. or else you can get all the preceding documents of delivery like sales order and then input sales order and get purchase order from VBFA

Difference between EKKO-LOEKZ & EKPO-LOEKZ

Dear Friends,
May i know the use of following tables & fields
EKKO-LOEKZ & EKPO-LOEKZ
I have create a PO with 3 line item..
And deleted one line item & passed the PO in EKPO table i m able to find deletion indicator(LOEKZ) for that line item...
Then I have dleted all 3 line Items in that PO...then checked in EKPO-LOEKZ filed able find deletion indicator for those line items..
But i am not finding any changes in EKKO-LOEKZ filed(header Level)..
may i knw wat is the reason for that?How i can acheive that?

Hi Sankar,
EKKO has header data and since you have not marked PO as Archived the same is not updated. Where as EKPO has item data hence when you delete an Item the same gets updated in EKPO-LOEKZ field.

Hi Ashok,
You can link RESB with EBAN using fields BANFN and BNFPO.
You can link RESB with EKPO using fields EBELN and EBELP.

Index EKKO~D consists top-down of BSTYP and BEDAT. BSTYP is already an EQ-condition in your selection, but not very selective (many rows with the same value). So including BEDAT should help in efficiently reducing the data that needs to be scanned for finding the relevant rows. However, just a new optional S_BEDAT select option that can be left empty by the user would not help, you must force a narrow selection (one month, one week, even one day? the less the better).
This is just a quick guess from my side, there might be other options that occur to you once you have analysed the available indexes. Sometimes alternative tables could be the solution, and even less sometimes introducing a new secondary index for a standard table might be the last option (takes up space and adds processing time to insert/update/delete operations).

Basic question related to EKKO and EKPO

Hi experts,
I have invoice document header and line item data in an internal table(From RBKP and RSEG). From RSEG I have PO number(EBELN) and PO line item(EBELP).
I want to find out the corresponding WBS element, costcenter and GL account of the PO number and the PO line item.
Can anybody tell me which tables to select to fetch WBSelement(PS_PSP_PNR), glaccount(SAKNR) and costcenter(KOSTL).
In which table I will find the link between EBELN,EBELP with KOSTL,SAKNR and WBS element?
