Resource availability during Non-Working Hours and Weekends

Hi Gurus,
Aim: Make the Resource available during Non-Working Hours and Weekends
Requirement: CRP functionality enabling
In CRC2 I have selected capacity tab and in capacity header under 'Change Interval and Shifts' button. I have Inserted a new Interval period and given the validity from/to dates(Non-Working day - Saturday) and Saved.
When i execute the Capacity Planning CM01, there is no change. The Resource availability still shows as "0"hrs for this particular date and for rest of the days it shows as 8hrs.
I have checked the same even after executing the MRP, No change in Capacity Planning Overview - Still the available Capacity Showas as 0
Please guide me, how can i use my resource during the holidays. Means make the system understand that the defined day is a working day though it is holiday as per factory calendar
Please correct me whether am i missing any settings or i should follow some other logic
Regards,
Tam

Hi Partha,
In workdays i dont have any such option "2"
As per standard list I could see only 3 entries in the possible values(F4) popup
"Blank" - Working days according to factory calendar
"0" - Non-Working days(Overrides factory Calendar)
"1" - orking days(Overrides factory Calendar)
I have even tried with option "0" and "1" its still the same, when i enter the period From and To date the fields for the entries Shift start and end date, workday, Shift Seq, Length of the shift, No.of shifts.........are jumping to the next line item.
Because of which i understand that the entered values is not corresponds to the newly defined period
Pls guide me to how to make the resource available during non working days

TamNen

  • Building a report filter that excludes non-business hours and weekends

    Hi All,
I need to know if this can be done in Answers:
I have built a system in CRM that captures timestamps when SRs are moved into and out of stages in the SR resolution lifecycle. Then I have a report that uses timestampdiff to calculate the time that a SR spends in each SLA metric window (Respond, Diagnose, Resolve). The report currently displays only the hard difference based on a 24 hour clock.
We need to be able to build a filter that will exclude any non-business hours (say outside of 9:00 to 5:00) and weekends, so that if my Respond window is 2 hours and an issue is recorded with a Response Start timestamp of 4:00pm, the report would show that if the Response Stop timestamp is at 9:30am the next business day, the SR met the required SLA.
Does anyone know if this can be done? If so, any insight on how to build it? I've seen a document that explains how to exclude weekends from workflow, but can the same thing be done in reporting?
This is a very urgent request and any help here is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

Exclude weekends you can do but not business hours but perhaps you can create something....if timestampdiff(Days) greater than 1 then take off 16 hours....Mike Lairsons book has the formula for excluding weekends and I think someone may have posted it in this forum if you search for it.

  • Calculate Date/Time Difference in a Calculated Column Omitting Weekends, Holidays and Non-Working Hours

I am looking for a formula to use in a calculated column that calculates the difference between two date/time fields while excluding weekends, holidays and non-working hours
    6/1/2010 9:43 AM - 6/7/2010 1:45 PM
Here is the closest that I have gotten; however, this formula gives me a result of 96:
    =IF(AND((WEEKDAY([Resolved Date],2))<(WEEKDAY(Created,2)),((WEEKDAY(Created,2))-(WEEKDAY([Resolved Date],2)))>1),(((DATEDIF(Created,[Resolved Date],"D")))-(FLOOR((DATEDIF(Created,[Resolved Date],"D")+1)/7,1))-3),(((DATEDIF(Created,[Resolved Date],"D")))-(FLOOR((DATEDIF(Created,[Resolved
    Date],"D")+1)/7,1)*2))*24)
Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated!

I don't know how to exclude holidays but i exclude weekends(Sat&Sun)-
    IF(ISERROR(DATEDIF([Start Date],[End Date],”d”)),””,(DATEDIF([Start Date],[End Date],”d”))+1-INT(DATEDIF([Start Date],[End Date],”d”)/7)*2-IF((WEEKDAY([End Date])-WEEKDAY([Start
    Date]))<0,2,0)-IF(OR(AND(WEEKDAY([End Date])=7,WEEKDAY([Start Date])=7),AND(WEEKDAY([End Date])=1,WEEKDAY([Start Date])=1)),1,0)-IF(AND(WEEKDAY([Start Date])=1,(WEEKDAY([End Date])-WEEKDAY([Start Date]))>0),1,0)-IF(AND(NOT(WEEKDAY([Start Date])=7),WEEKDAY([End
    Date])=7),1,0))

  • Cisco WLC with ISE - need to restrict access during non-business hours

    Hello,
We have a requirement to turn off our wireless during non-business hours.  We have a 5508 WLC with ISE.  What is the best way to accomplish this task?
    Thank you in advance.
    Beth

Aside from Steve's respond, there are several methods of doing this and this will all depend on how complex your network is and how technical you want to do this.
    1.  As what Steve said, use PI and you can define several schedules when to turn off/on the SSID;
    2.  If you have corporate access, you can use AD to schedule non-business hours;
    3.  If you have Cisco PoE switches, you can enable EnergyWise to power off the APs;
    4.  If you manage your core network, you can enable time-based ACL to disable the default gateway of the dynamic interface which is attached to your SSID.
The most "destructive" method is option #3, because there are chances that your AP won't power up properly, if not power up at all.

  • Office 365 API: work hours and private appointments

    Hi,
We have application that supports Exchange on-premis and we wont to add Office 365 support. For that we need to be able to obtain same information that we use currently with our on-premis solution.
Does Office 365 API support retrieving information about user work hours and events that are marked as private? I haven't found this in documentation https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/office365/api/api-catalog

  • Attendance/absence 03.04.2010 - 03.04.2010 during non-working period

    Hi,
    When we are entering absences through PA61, getting an error message - Attendance/absence 03.04.2010 - 03.04.2010 during non-working period (att./abs.type CL01).
I think this is the holiday day calendar problem...or any other problem??
    Plz guide..

    Yes,
Check the work schedule of the employee for whom you are trying to enter the leave on that day.
Check if the date type is other than 0 or blank.
check through SCAL if any public holiday is assigned on that day.
check your absense type CL01's config for more details.
    cheers

  • Time Passage Calculation excluding Weekends and Non-work hours

    Good Afternoon Everyone!
I am currently using the expression below to determine the amount of time that has passed since a Task has been created.
    TIMESTAMPDIFF(SQL_TSI_MINUTE, Activity."Created Date", NOW())
We have a completion goal for a specific task type of 2 hours (120 minutes), but it should only be calculated minutes between 7 AM and 4 PM and only on week days.
So, a task created at 3:50 PM on a Friday that is completed at 7:30 AM on the following Monday should only calculate to 40 minutes of time.
I am at a loss for where to start tackling this problem. If any of you can help I would be very appreciative!

Hey Paul, thanks for the prompt. I see now that the formula is incomplete.
As I have just taken the difference in days between the Activity Start Time and End Time, it will consider any weekend. But its incomplete as it considers only 15 hours of a day and not the remaining 9 hours for weekends. For holidays - we do need a field or something to identify it like Activity Type = 'holiday'.
So the ELSE* part of revised formula would be something like this:
    ... ELSE TIMESTAMPDIFF(SQL_TSI_MIN,activity start time,activity end time) - (60*15*(DAY(Activity End Time) - DAY(Activity Start Time))) - (60*9*(COUNT(DISTINCT CASE WHEN DAYOFWEEEK(Date.Date) IN (6,7) OR ~some field to identify holiday~ = 'something' THEN 1 END)) END
now imagine there's one activity that started on Friday 7:00 AM and ends on coming Monday at 4:00 PM.
    Actual duration is 18 hours.
Now,the first term after ELSE will give 81*60 minutes. next term should give 45*60 minutes. third term would be 18*60 min.
so the entire expression would return 18 hours.
Even if there's a holiday, then i guess the 'OR' part should capture it.
I hope this makes sense. Please let me know if it should need any further corrections.

  • Can I switch back to Free during off-peak hours and switch to Basic once traffic is up?

    Hello,
I have a website hosted on Azure. But there are times that it has no traffic during off-peak hours. However, since it has a lot of images in it, during peak hours I can consume the 165MB/Day limit of the free tier in just a few hundred requests. Can I switch
from Free to Basic during peak hours with unlimited data and back to Free during off peak to save costs? Are we allowed to switch between different pricing tiers as much as we want?
    Thanks

    hi sir,
Yes, you can switch your website mode by you wanted. However when you switch mode, your website will be temporary shift. I guess it may affect your website performance and runtime. And currently, you only can switch mode manually. If your subscription
is free trial, you may need convert it to Pay-As-You-Go.

  • My iPad 2 with iOS6 has a non-working iTunes and AppStore I don't know how to fix it

Does anybody know how to fix this?

    Saw this on another post.
Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it!   It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year. Then see if you can connect to the store.

    ERROR MESSAGE:
We could not complete your iTunes Store request.
The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.
That is the message I get when clicking on iTunes Store in iTunes. I am able to get into the store, by doing a search. But when I click on Music within the store, it sends the same message. Using other links (movies, tv shows)no issue.
By searching on an artist, I can get to music, so there is a workaround, but it shouldn't be this way.
This is NOT an issue using iTunes 10 on another system. All software just updated.
Problem existed initially using iTunes 8, carried over with 9.2.

  • I JUST GOT RIPPED OFF. Re-bought non working album and not able download

I bought $100 worth of music a while ago and out of no where my music began to skip entire albums leaving me music less
I decided a month later to just buy 1 album that didn't work and as soon as I purchased the album and went to downloads, it wouldn't allow me to download
This has me a bit flamed as you can imagine.

  • HT201371 I have a brand new 5S running ios 7.04. There's no "Edit" button on the screen, no apparent way to delete a non-working scan and the scan part does nothing. ios bug or ???

I have a brand new iPhone 5S running ios 7.04. I can't get the "Touch ID" to work and I'm convinced it's a software issue. I read Apple's post on the subject (iPhone 5s: Using Touch ID) and the screens they show in the article are NOT what I have on my phone. Mine has no "Edit" button and there appears to be no way to delete a failed scan. The rest of the OS seems to be okay - I've no idea what to do.

I'm not sure why you are not seeing the Edit button. I have it on mine. However, you should be able to delete the finger by swiping it from right to left and a red delete button should appear.

  • Visible work hours

If I'm not mistaken, earlier versions of iCal only showed those hours that were set as working hours.
It's true that I can set those hours in the Prefs, but the rest of the 24hrs day is just greyed out. I really don't have appointments between 1 and 4 a.m. - but the space I have for my real working hours is narrowed by those useless hours that I usually spend sleeping.
Have I missed something? Or should I request this feature @ Apple's?

The "Visible Work Hours" preference is definitely changed - With TIGER and my G4 I get the shaded non-work hours and "Preferences" does not get rid of them.
With my G3 the stated preferences eliminated the non-work hours completely - this shaded improvement is a pain - I, too, have little use for a 3 am appointment!
Previous versions (that only show what you have set in preferences) are not compatible with Tiger...
ICal version 2.0.2 is not even shown in the apple site as an option, but it is the version I have...

  • In iCal, "Available Meeting Times" greys out working hours one day off, MS Exchange

I am using iCal, accessing an MS Exchange server. When setting up a meeting, "Available Meeting Times" greys out the non-working hours of potential meeting participants. However, the days are one day off. E.g. the working hours of my collegues are displayed are Tuesday-Sunday instead of Monday-Friday. The dates and times of meetings are relayed correctly. Only the display of the working hours seems to be off.
Needless to say that my collegues are using Windows Outlook, and everything works there.

I still have the same issue. Had it ever since at least 2010 and meanwhile we switched Exchange-Servers and I'm on Mavericks, but still. Looks to me as if iCal requests something like "getWorkDays" from teh Server. The Server probably replies [2,3,4,5,6]. When the week starts on Sunday, this is perfectly fine. But if the Week starts on Monday, this will give you Tue-Sat as available Days. So it might be a bug in either Exchange or iCal to treat that information correctly, but I'm not obv. not sure about that.
