Retrieving name from value in a hashtable....

Question

Hi,
If I use a hastable that contains a name (unique) and value, how do I get that name by using a value?
TypeName: System.Collections.Hashtable
Name                           Value
1008                           xcelsius
1007                           WSUS Administration
1006                           wsil-wls
1005                           WebServicesSamples
1004                           WEB-INF
I've tried .ContainsValue and .ContainsKey, but that only returns TRUE/FALSE
I want to be able to get the name by providing the value.

You're trying to match an integer as a string.
$table = @{1 ="A";2 = "A";3="C";4="D"}
Write-Host "As integer " $table[1]
Write-Host "As string " $table["1"]
That's one possibility.  Without knowing exactly how the hash table was constructed it's impossible to know for sure.
It's also possible that the keys actually are string values, but have trailing whitespace. That would produce identical output to what's shown, but cause lookups to fail if you didn't include the trailing whitespace:
$hash =
[ordered]@{
'1008 ' = 'xcelsius'
'1007 ' = 'WSUS Administration'
'1006 ' = 'wsil-wls'
'1005 ' = 'WebServicesSamples'
'1004 ' = 'WEB-INF'
$hash
Name Value
1008 xcelsius
1007 WSUS Administration
1006 wsil-wls
