Return and Exchange Policy

I purchased an iPod Mini on Dec. 25, 2004. I would like to know if I am covered by the Apple Limited Warranty or Support, if so, what steps do I take to return my iPod Mini in for repair or maybe exchange?

You can check out the products and services tab on this website - follow the instructions and it will let you if you are still under warranty and also let you know how much apple will charge to replace the battery. Also, check out MacResQ.com and compare prices. I believe I read that Apple Stores will give you a 10% discount for a trade in and there are some online places that will let you trade up also.

  • Return or Exchange for PS4?

    Hi Best Buy,
Currently, I'm owning a GTA V pre owned and a Xbox One. However, my console overheated frequency while playing. I was wondering if I'm able to return those two or exchange it for a PS4.
    Thank you,
    Mimi

    Hello again Mimi,
I’m glad to hear you’ve reached out to us on the forum again for assistance with your inquiry! It is discouraging to hear that your Xbox One doesn’t seem to be working properly as you say it’s frequently overheating.
Per our Return & Exchange Promise, unfortunately you wouldn’t be able to return opened video games, as you would only be able to exchange it for an identical item, nor would we be able to accept the Xbox Live card as it is considered a nonreturnable item. However, you may be able to trade-in your game.  If you are within the 15 day return and exchange period, you may be able to return or exchange your Xbox One. If these items were bundled, you may encounter a deduction for the value of the nonreturnable items.
Sadly, I wasn’t able to locate the purchases using the information you registered with the forum. I am sending you a private message to gather more details to see what options you may have. You may check your private messages by signing into the forum then clicking the envelope icon in the top right corner of the page.

  • How to get apps on to new iPad when old one was defective and exchanged.

I purchased an iPad3, downloaded some apps that I had to payf for. The iPad had to be returned and exchanged because it was defective. How do I get the apps that I have paid for on to my new iPad without paying for them again. Thanks.

    Either...
If you have a backup for an earlier sync, set the new pad up from the existing backup.
If you did not get that far, no sweat.  As long as you are using the same apple id, go to the store, select the purchased button on the bottom.  You can reload those apps for free.

  • Return/Exchange Policy Question

    Hello,
I recently bought a PS4 controller from Best Buy (picked it up yesterday), and the R2 button is already starting to become harder to press. Sony suggested that I contat Best Buy because Sony charges shipping to replace the controller. I was wondering what the return/exchange policy was for items that were already opened? Thanks!
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hello flaw600,
I'm disappointed to read that your new PS4 controller had developed a problem. Please know that I regret any inconvenience to you.
Neihn is right: as long as you're within 15 days of the date of purchase (30 days if you're a My Best Buy Elite member or 45 days if you're an Elite Plus member), you may return the controller  to your local Best Buy for exchange. Remember to bring along your original receipt!
I hope this helps. Thank you for writing to us with your question!

  • Return or exchange Galaxy S3 and keep unlimited data?

I have preordered a Galaxy S3 and it's been shipped already, should be delivered on Monday. After finding out about the encrypted bootloader on this phone I'm not sure I want it anymore (I'll save that rant for somewhere else). If I return the device will I keep my unlimited data? I ordered it prior to June 28th. I've read conflicting info about restocking fees. Do I need to refuse delivery from Fedex or can I accept delivery and go through normal return methods without being charged a fee? Paying $35 to return a phone that's still in its shrink wrap seems ridiculous.
I'm also trying to decide whether I'd prefer a Galaxy Nexus. I know that if I return the S3 and then try to re-use my upgrade, I'll lose unlimited data. Is there a way for me to do a direct exchange of one device for the other, so that I'm not technically cancelling one upgrade and re-using it?

I would just refuse delivery if you don't want the phone. If you
return this phone your upgrade will fall under the new upgrade after June 28,
2012 and as such you will have to move to the new plans when you upgrade at
subsidized prices. You do have the right to return for exchange I was told by VZW rep
but then again your mileage may vary as to what you do.  It is not a set thing and no one
at VZW will always to the samething in all locations.  Again buyer beware.  The last phone I
returned by just not accepting delivery which was just late last year VZW
charged the restocking fee but I mentioned to the person I called that it was
still not opened.  They said the phone
still had to go back as an opened phone as they had to open the package to make
sure everything was in the box as the shrink wrap could have been re-shrunk by
someone else in shipping.  They told me
they did not take any returns without an inspection of the contents.  I hope your mileage will vary with your
return.  Once they go back they go to
refurbished phones?  I have been seeing
people complain they are getting new phones with no battery cover and VZW tells
them to return them which I am sure VZW will charge the re-stocking fee
anyway.  These issues are why I don’t
order phones off the web site.  I only
    purchase from a VZW store.

  • "Permanently Delete" fail in outlook client after setting up the "Archive and Retention Policy" in Exchange 2010

In Exchange 2010 server, we have setup a policy under "Default Archive and Retention Policy" as all messages under "Inbox", "Sent Items" and "Deleted Items" will be Permanently Delete after X months.
However, one of our client found that some of the email messages was still found under his "Deleted Items". All other email messages under her outlook client (2010) were successfully deleted according to the policy.
Is there any reason for this exception?
    Thank you

    Hi,
Based on your description, you created retention policy tags for Inbox, Sent Items and Deleted Items folders. Then you linked them to the default archive and retention policy
    Default Archive and Retention Policy.
Please check if this issue affects all users.
Please create a different retention policy which is associated with these retention tags, and apply this policy to a test user to check result.

  • Does Apple have a exchange policy?

As a matter of fact, on my 6 plus. I can't even restore it from my previous 16gb iphone 5s. Itunes says that there is not enough space left.
The fact is that the iphone6 plus system takes more capacity than a iphone 5s. I merely have 10 gb space to use on 6 plus.
Just a note for everyone is about to purchase the iphone 6 plus, I really do not recommend the 16gb version. 10 GB is nothing in today's terms of capacity. A few decent songs will take up quite a lot space. Photos can also reach 5mb now.
After all, there is so much frustration when I cant restore my backup. Another question is, I live in the UK, I am wondering if apple have a exchange policy? I really want to exchange for a 64 gb model.
Note. Iphone 6 plus 64GB is always out of stock, while 16GB has a huge stock left all across UK. (Supports my view of 16GB is pointless.)

If you are within the 14 day period after you purchased it, you can return your phone, no questions asked, for a full refund (In fact, in the UK I believe that is 28 days, by law).
Hi 70, my son just did the same thing, he called the store (Canary Wharf) who told him within 14 days rather than 28, and now he is waiting for the 64GB to arrive. Thankfully his 5s still does the job (but according to him it's just so old now that the 6 is out )

  • Reg: Report on GR Returns and IR Returns with PI 2005.1 700

    Hi,
I would like to report on GR Returns and IR retuns from Purchasing Datasources i.e. 2LIS_02_SCL(total returns).
I created GR with 101 movement and GR with 102 movement. I checked in RSA3, i could see data with Procecs Key 002. But, i don't see any entry with process key 006. <u>Does any body investigated how these process keys attached to document changes? am i missing some thing?</u> I can able to calculate Actual Delived Qty and Invoice Qty, but i could't able to calculate total GR and IR Returns?.
We are on ECC 6.0 and PI 2005.1 700 and BI 7.0 .
Does any body have any idea about this.
Note: as of now i don't want to look into IM for return quantity. we don't have any Plans to implement IM.
    Thanks in advance!
    Nagesh Ganisetti.

    Chetan,
Both notes won't help... as you didn't understood my Issue. I was able to get actual Delivered or Invoiced Qty or Values. 1st won't help in my Case (This note is for how to calculate Invoice or GR value with Current Exachnge Rate instead of Original Exchange Rate).
I did all the settings for Purchasing. Some reason i couldn't able to generate any Entry with Process Key '6' or '7'.
Any idea where these process keys attached to these Documents. I want to debugg this, as you know i need to debugg while filling setup tables.
I would be very happy if you can share any Document on BI Objects Naming Conventions (Query or Cube or any BI Object).

  • Messaging Records Management: loss of functionality between Managed Folders and Retention Policy

In Exchange 2007 and 2010 you can use Managed Folders with Managed Content Settings to act on messages based on when they were moved into the folder. E.g.,
New-ManagedContentSettings -Name DeleteJunk -FolderName ManagedJunk -MessageClass * -RetentionEnabled $true -RetentionAction DeleteAndAllowRecovery -AgeLimitForRetention 30 -TriggerForRetention WhenMoved
will delete items 30 days after they're moved into the Junk E-Mail folder designated by the Folder Name "Managed Junk".
However, Exchange 2010 introduces Retention Policies as an alternative to Managed Folders, and Exchange 2013 drops Managed Folders entirely. With a Retention Policy, it's impossible to specify a TriggerForRetention. See http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd335226%28v=exchg.141%29.aspx
and note that New-RetentionPolicyTag lacks -TriggerForRetention as a parameter. If you Get-RetentionPolicyTag | fl you can still see a TriggerForRetention value, but it's "WhenDelivered" and can't be changed.
Both http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb430780%28v=exchg.141%29.aspx (Exchange 2010) and http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb430780%28v=exchg.150%29.aspx (Exchange 2013) describe a rather convoluted method used to determine the age of
a message for retention purposes, but I don't know whether to believe those pages. It seems apparent, though, that basing a message's age on WhenDelivered can easily produce undesired results.
Consider a Retention Policy Tag placed on the Junk E-Mail folder which will perform DeleteAndAllowRecovery on items older than 30 days. A message arrives on 01/01/15 and is classified as Junk. It immediately starts aging based on the date 01/01/15. The user
find the message, which was misclassified, and moves it to another folder. Since there's no way to set a TriggerForRetention based on WhenMoved, the message continues to age from 01/01/15. 90 days later, while the user is reviewing their mail, the user accidentally
clicks the Junk button on the message. Because the message is more than 30 days old, it's deleted immediately.
    1) Am I correct? Or is there a way to use Retention Policies so that messages are acted on based on how long they've resided in their current folder?
    2) What do I have to do to get Microsoft to add the ability to change the TriggerForRetention on a Retention Policy Tag in Exchange 2013?
Note, I'm not the first person to raise this issue. It's been discussed in a number of places including TechNet. Here are a few:
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/exchange/en-US/82c01e6e-0184-4d25-b803-45a604ca0c68/retention-policy-tag-problem?forum=exchangesvrsecuremessaginglegacy

By default there is no property on a message to identify a message is moved from one folder to another.Managed folder used to stamp a new property Moveddate on the message when the ContentSetting on the target folder was set to WhenMoved.
WhenMoved functionality is not available with Retention Policy . You can raise your concern to make this functionality available by opening a ticket with support.

  • ActiveSync 500 error and Exchange 2007/2013 coexistence

    Hello,
We have Exchange 2007, and we've deployed Exchange 2013 and coexistence appears to be working.  We have done a small pilot migration of 11 users, and I have 2 of those users that are not able to get iPhone/ActiveSync working.  OWA and Outlook access
work without a problem.  https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com/ is telling me "The test of the FolderSync command failed." and "Exchange
ActiveSync returned an HTTP 500 response (Internal Server Error)"
The error I'm receiving on the mailbox server event log is:
An exception occurred and was handled by Exchange ActiveSync. This may have been caused by an outdated or corrupted Exchange ActiveSync device partnership. This can occur if a user tries to modify the same item from multiple computers. If this is the case,
Exchange ActiveSync will re-create the partnership with the device. Items will be updated at the next synchronization.
    URL=
    --- Exception start ---
    Exception type: Microsoft.Exchange.AirSync.AirSyncPermanentException
Exception message: A null value was received for the NTSD security descriptor of container CN=ExchangeActiveSyncDevices,CN=LASTNAME\, FIRSTNAME.,OU=XXX,OU=People,DC=DOMAIN,DC=local.
Most articles I've found with this issue say to confirm that "Inherit parent permissions" is check on the AD object, but that is already checked?
The funny thing is that most of our pilot users don't have this issue.  It is only for some of them.
    Any help is appreciated.

An update here, I was able to get the 2 pilot user's iPhone/ActiveSync access working by adding the following permissions by hand:
Add Exchange Servers, in Apply onto select
msExchActiveSyncDevices objects (note it's plural) and selecting
    Full Control.
Once I did this, my problems went away.
So the big question is why aren't these permissions in place already?  Isn't this something that the adprep/domain prep should have taken care of?
    Thanks!

  • OIM and Exchange Auto Provision along with AD

    Hi,
How can I configure an AD connector in OIM to automatically provision an Exchange account for a user?
At present as part of manual provisioning test, I have to assign the AD User resource and Exchange resource separately to provision a user with AD and Exchange accounts. Is there a simplest way to do it?
Please advise. Also please share if any documentation available.
    Thank you!

Policy based provisioning should work fine for you.
Alternatively you can use an entity adapter or a combination of entity adapter and a policy.
Policy based provisioning is described in 11 Creating and Managing Access Policies in Identity Manager Administrative and User Console Guide (assuming that you are using 9.1).
    Good luck

  • MacMail Mavericks and Exchange Server

Folders continue to disappear from MacMail.  I am running Mavericks and am using an Exchange server.  One moment a folder will be there and then it will be gone.  Sometimes it returns and I have to rebuild the folder.  Other times it does not return and I have to delete the account and start anew.  Additionally, I should say this is occuring only on one machine (MacBook Pro 2012).  It is not having the same problems on a second, older MacBook Pro, or a iMac.
It has gotten to the point that I may have to seek a third party email client.

Do you have Mail to check automatically? Change that to a different time interval.
If that still doesn't help, then I suggest resetting Mail.app.
You can do that by deleting the contents of ~/library/mail and the associated plist file. Please note though that this would delete all mail from your local computer, along with signatures, local rules, etc..So be careful!
