Returned item, still received a bill in the mail!

I bought a laptop at Best Buy, and I decided to return in about 3 weeks later. (I have the reciept from the return).
Weeks go by, then I receive a bill statement from my credit card company stating that I owed them the amount for the laptop that I purchased.
What should I do? Should I call Bestbuy or my credit card company to sort this all out? Should I not pay the bill until further notice?

As strange as it seems in our well-connected world, some things can still take a bit of time and refunds posting to your credit card can be one of them. I'm disappointed to read that your credit has not yet posted and I apologize for any inconvenience that may have resulted.
CrystalWoW asks really great questions. While most refunds should be reflected on a credit card statement within just  a few business days, some financial institutions post credits less frequently, and there can be overlap between a credit occurring and a statement being issued. If, after contacting your bank, the credit doesn't appear to have been issued, please let me know. You may send me a private message with the Customer Service PIN from your return receipt and I'll be happy to look into the situation for you.

    There’s two reasons why your first bill after signing up for Edge might be higher than normal:
    Prorate Charges – If you upgraded an existing line and did a price plan change, you may have price plan charges and credits that went into effect the day you upgraded.
    Sales Tax – Most states require sales tax on the full retail price paid by the customer, which in most instances will be charged at the time of the first invoice.
    Note: Customers who purchased devices in AL, AZ, CO, IL, NM, ND or SD will be billed taxes and surcharges monthly as payments are made.
    Your bill will normally include:
    Your last Edge installment payment
    The next Edge installment charge
    If you are on a MORE Everything Plan, a monthly access discount for each qualifying line.
    The details of Edge installments and discounts can be viewed at the line level portion of your bill under Monthly Charges and Equipment Charges, or in My Verizon, My Bill then Charges By Line.

    Thank you for your inquiry. Adding to what was stated, it does sound like you selected the paperless billing option on My Verizon. Please log back in and change your preference to start receiving your bill. Please note it can take a bill cycle before you start receiving a paper bill depending on when you process the request. When a bill cycle closes, it takes about 12 days for the billing statement is received via US Mail.     All of those Seller steps, of course, should be done before the device is delivered to the buyer. After that point, there is nothing you can do, unless you happened (still before) to have installed BB Protect onto the device, in which case you could use the tools it has to perhaps wipe it now.
    All in all, this is a difficult lesson for you to learn...giving away personal information is something that no one should ever do, and yet exactly what you did do.

    Select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History on your computer.
    Currently, if your purchase happens to be your most recent purchase you will not be redirected to the report form, in this case use the report a problem option from the invoice that was emailed to you.

    I have sort of the exact same problem. Extremely far away from user friendly
    I have an second issue as well: When I hook off all-day it comes up with an 8 hour event!
    And then if I put in a late start hour it pushes end time to next day due to the 8 hour event suggestion.
    All in all this gives a lot of changes just to enter an event.

    Probably not. I have exactly the same problem. Had 2.1GB of Mail in storage. Deleted all mail from my Mail account.
    Emptied trash.
    No effect. still 2.1GB of Mail, which, together with 2.7 GB of other backups etc, means my iCloud storage is full.

    You cannot buy something without a credit card or an itunes git card.

    You're not alone. It seems that there is a bug with push and Apple is not addressing the problem verbally.
    There are a few options people are trying, but they only provide a temporary fix that will not last more than a few hours.
    e.g. Reset network, delete account/hard reset, turn push off/on in a specific order.
    All we can do is report and wait, sorry.

    I assume you're using Mail. I'm sure you've checked and re-checked but it is very likely something minor wrong with your smtp settings.
    In Mail>Preferences>Accounts, click on your email account tab and from the 'Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)' drop down menu select 'Edit SMTP Server list. On the Account information tab make sure you have got the correct smtp server address. On the Advanced tab verify that you have the correct Authentication, that the Password is correct and that the User name is correct. I have various email accounts and some of them require the complete email address against User Name while others only require the part of the address before the @ symbol. Get that wrong and it could be your problem.
