Returning to UWL after Workitemcompletition does not work

Hi All,
we implement ESS & MSS in EP 6.0 SP 13 with KMC.
We have the problem , that after the user selects a new workitem ( Absenceaproval e.g. )in the UWL and completes it, a "beautiful" ITS-Message shows up ( Thank you for using ITS ) . What we want is, that the Workitemwindow closes and a refreshed UWL is shown.
I have configured the Launchconfig to open the Workitem in a new Window. In addition i have configured the ~ExitURL ( in the ITS Global Service...) to a file which contains the following:

What now happens is, that:
the WI shows up in a new window (as desired)
when the WI is finished, this new Window blanks out but does not closes.
( Starting the WI-Processing ITS-service directly in the browser, the window closes after finishing the WI )
In EP 6.0 SP 2 the window closed. How to get this behavior back for SP 13 ?
I've read some other threads regarding similar topics, but found no solution. Also in the UWL-How-To.
Has anybody solved this issue already ?

SM36/37: Specification "After Job" does not work for Daily "periodcity"

I reviewed http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/20/2d513897110872e10000009b38f889/content.htm, which states what I am trying to do should work, but it does not.
Here's the deal:
1. I have two jobs: "A" and "B".
2. "A" runs Daily.
3. I set-up job "B" to run "After job" "A" in my SM36 definition.
Job "B" will run the next day, but never runs again after that even though job "A" continues to run "Daily" as it should.
Further info:
1. We have "Event-triggered" jobs that run fine, but the "After Job" designation doesn't seem to work ongoingly.
2. I can review both jobs "A" and "B" for any "Predecessor" or "Successor" jobs, and, the first jobs to run after the initial set-up DO reference each other (in other words, let's say I schedule job "B" to run "After job" "A" on Tuesday. After Tuesday's run, Job "A" sees job "B" as it's "Successor" job and job "B" sees job "A" as it's "Predecessor" job), but the definition doesn't last into the next day ONLY FOR JOB "B" (as I mentioned, job "A" always runs fine).
3. I can't set the "periodcity" for job "B" because, once I flag it to run "After Job" "A", the "period" options disappear.
4. One final tidbit: the variant for job "B" has a "key date" specified so the date is dynamic for each day the job runs. I can set up job "B" to run "Daily" with this variant and it runs fine, but I wanted it to run AFTER job "A" so it never runs if job "A" doesn't run. (At this point, it's becoming a matter of principal!)
Here's my question:
Why won't job "B" continue to run "Daily" after job "A" (a "Daily" job) runs?

On full keyboards with a numeric keypad, the key above the right shift is "return" & the one on the numeric section is "enter." On a Mac (or Apple IIgs ) they do have separate functions. On the "mini" keyboards, both names are on the same key, but "enter" is written in smaller letters. I'll have to check to see how that works on another Mac later today.

Spacebar disassembled, reassembled after it does not work

I was cleaning the keyboard of my MacBook Pro (early 2011) when I bump the spacebar, look for in the network how do, ok unmount, I clean everything and remount. I don't have a good impression the space bar does not work anymore, I've broken? and yet I have not done anything so aggressive, then I try to reboot the machine just load the finder beginning to feel the "bong" as if a key is pressed,open the Keyboard Viewer and discover that it is the space bar which is like if it remains pressed, to mute the sound are forced to unmount button and once reassembled no longer works again, I do not understand what it may be, I have noticed, however, that once removed the key sound ends when I move the leverof iron, the most above. how to proceed? thank you very much =)

Hi folks,
i have currently a SAPNet-Message running on this issue, but until now no solution.
The cause for the difference between the behavior of SP2 and SP13 seems to be in the fact , that in SP13 the IAC is called within an IFRAME - even if it is openened within a new window. window.close() then just blanks out the IFRAME. parent.window.close or top.window.close doesn't work , because of "access denied" as the iFrame runs an ITS-Application on another server, and is therefore not allowed to close the window of the Portal.
Has anybody any other solution to achieve the "Return to the UWL" ?
currently this issue is a showstopper for switching to the new portalversion...

[BUG?] "Turn off Hard Disk after - NEVER " Does not work ?

I was using last 2 builds of Windows 10 Tech preview x64, and found this weird behaviour. I've updated to this new 9926 build, clean installation, and it happened again:
I have Windows installed on my SSD, and I have several other Hard Disks (internal ones) connected. Whenever I try to search files inside any of those HDDs, they have to turn themselves on, which causes a 2-3 sec lag, and then allow me to continue. When I'm
done working inside them, and some minutes pass, they turn themselves back off again.
I do know theres an power management option called "Turn Hard Disk off after..." and I have chosen it to be at NEVER. But it's not working.
Has anyone had same problem? Is it a known bug or something? Any way to fix this?

Bug Report: "View PDF After Saving" Does Not Work When Saving as Photoshop PDF

The saved PDF file is not opening in Acrobat after saving a file as a Photoshop PDF. I noticed it happening a few times in earlier beta testing, but today it happened again.
I have Adobe Acrobat Pro 10.1.2 installed on MacPro with Lion OS 10.7.3. Photoshop public beta m415. System info can be provided if needed.
The file I was trying to save was about 8 MB. Once it failed to open after save, I tried varied PDF settings and save locations. Also tried several different files. All were saved properly as PDF files, but would not continue to open in Acrobat as previous versions have done. The files open properly when you click on the file names in saved location.

I'm happy I could help and feel a bit proud to have found a real bug. The simplest work around is just clicking on the file list once it's done...that's certainly not a problem.

How do I set Firefox 10.0.2 to be default browser in Windows 7, using a script or setup switch. "Firefox.exe -setDefaultBrowser" does NOT work.

I want to set Firefox as default browser for all my users.
I can do this by opening Firefox and go to Tools --> Options --> Advanced and hit the "Check now" button. That works fine, but I need to accomplish this automatically.
Running setup with the -setDefaultBrowser switch does NOT work. Running "firefox.exe -silent -SetDefaultBrowser" after setup does NOT work.
Is this even possible? Or are we stuck with IE?

I have Firefox installed, as well as Internet Explorer 9. If I check "Default Programs --> Set Default Programs" in Windows 7 it states that Internet Explorer is default.
If I create a shortcut on my desktop that points to "www.mozilla.org" for example, and double-click that shortcut, it will open in Internet Explorer.
I now run "%ProgramFiles%\Mozilla Firefox\Firefox.exe -silent -setDefaultBrowser" with administrative privileges.
I look again in "Default programs" and i still says IE is default browser. If I click on my shortcut it still opens in IE.
If I change the setting manually from within Firefox it works fine.
Please help, I really can't make this work.

Hello, I have spent four days and half of those nights trying to get this accursed thing to properly install and run. The damned thing indicates that it was successfully installed, but would not work and all programes that needed it, kept telling me I needed to instal it. Also, it appeared in my installed program list, but had no file size against it.
I had an hour on line with my Norton Tecnician, having suggested to him that Norton may be blocking it. He allegedly diconnected Norton and tried it, then told me the problem was not Norton.
WRONG!
I uninstalled it again for the millionth time, opened my Norton 360 and temporarily turned my Anti-virus off for 15 minutes, I then installed flash again and immediately re-set my Norton. In my case:

I want to have all my tabs return after closing. In Tools/Options/General/ I have' Show my Windows and Tabs from last time' checked, but it does not work. When I open FF again none of my formerly open Tabs show... FF v.4.

After an upgrade of acrobat reader 9 to acrobat reader 11 the automatic printing of a pdf. The pdf is opened, but the print does not happen. With acrobat reader 9 it works. But with acrobat reader 11 the printing does not happen.
I discovered when you specify pp.constants.interactionLevel.full it works on acrobat reader 11. But when you specify pp.constants.interactionLevel.silent or pp.constants.interactionLevel.automatic it does not work on acrobat reader 11. But with the full option we have a dialog print box

From the JS API Reference of the print method:
Non-interactive printing can only be executed during batch, console, and menu
events.

PCI wireless card does not work after restart - FM2-A55M-E33

Installed TP-LINK WN751ND wireless PCI card onto FM2-A55M-E33 motherboard. The card works fine after cold start, but does not work after restart. Windows recognises the card, but it gets code 10, cannot start.
BIOS is updated (v.11.1), as well as drivers and Windows 7 64.
I suspect that this might be the issue: Incorrect ASPM Transitions on the GPP Interface as found in ChipsetMotherboard_TechDocs/48671.pdf on AMD's official support site.
Does anyone know more about this issue?

Great! I've done that and now my card shows up. Thing is, when I try to get an IP address, it won't work. Here is the command output:

And then it times out and no IP is assigned. The thing is, wpa_supplicant stays alive after this time out, and I am unable to kill it (killall -9 wpa_supplicant won't kill it). At this point if I try to reboot the machine, it will stop at 'Rebooting' and won't go anywhere. If I turn off the wireless card in its switch Linux crashes. If I try to get an ip again (by running dhcpcd) the command will hang and not return to the shell anymore.
I am unable to find any useful information in the logs.
Got any more suggestions?

Yes, this is activation lock. Return the phone for a refund, as it is useless without the activation information of the previous owner.

Satellite L870-165 does not work after being repaired by their service

Laptop Toshiba warranty does not work after being repaired by their service twice.
Model: Satellite L870-165
Computer will not boot, stays with black screen stating: No bootable device-Please restart your system
After reboot still happening the same.
I called Toshiba phone incident and after trying several options I said take him to repair the service.
They first told me it was the hard drive, then phoned me to indicate that reinstalling and finally it was the motherboard, which supposedly changed. The day after being picked computer repair returned to give exactly the same error, only malfunctioned one evening.
After another call to 902 the Toshiba warranty service, I went back to take the service, this time I changed the hard drive. When I got home the computer did not start even once, again gives the same error.
I believe that this team comes with a factory default so that its solution is not easy because even the technical service told me that I did not know what else to do with it.

This message pops up because the notebook cannot find the Windows system.
There could be either an problem with the HDD or maybe the HDD is OK but the Windows system isnt preinstalled properly.
You said that the service agent changed the HDD. But did someone install the Windows system?
You can try to do it yourself take your recovery disk (hopefully you created such disk in the past) and boot from the recovery disk in order to install the system.
In case booting from the Disk would not be possible, go to BIOS (F2) and disable the secure boot and change from UEFI to CSM mode

Home sharing does not work after update to snow leopard 10.6.4 and iTunes 9

I am using home sharing since about a year without any problems. After updating to snow leopard 10.6.4 and iTunes 9.2 it suddenly does not work anymore.
On my iMac and my Mac Book Pro I get error code 3259 and it tells me to check my firewall and to enable Port 3689.
I did not change anything in the firewall settings, itunes on both allows data traffic in both directions. I also do not find any option to activate a port ( also wondering why this is suddenly now necessary)
I deactivated home sharing on both machines and enabled it again. It still does not work.
On both machines iTunes displays the the library on the left side but like said it is not accessable
With Finder I can access the other computer from both machines without any problem.
Any help to solve this would be very much appreciated

first of all, if you are behind a router firewall, and have your network secured (WPA2 and a long, non-dictionary password made up of letters and numbers), you don't need the software firewall on your Mac(s).

turn home sharing off on both computers, and make sure
(a) both Macs have access to the internet
(b) iTunes on both machines is authorized for the same iTunes account.
turn home sharing back on on both Macs.
