Revaluation with fixed rate

LC and SC is CAD. Revaluation checkbox marked in CoA. I want to run revaluation in Trial Balance for US$ account.Revaluation will be in CAD.
When I run Trial Balance report to show revalution without booking the entry, it doesnu2019t matter what you put in the fixed rate field, the rate used in the report stays the same.

Dear,
The effect of the 'Fixed Exchange Rate' setting can only be seen running
financial reports like trhe Balance Sheet or the Trial Balance where
the User can choose to Revaluate the Balance by certain parameters.
In the Revaluation setting is possible to set the Revaluation Method
by fixed rate, if there is choosed any fixed rate, the report is
revaluated by that rate.
This scenario will only take place under two conditions:
1. If, in the Revaluation window, the 'Refer to Rates in Posting
(Journal Entry)' checkbox is ticked.
2. If under 'Financials- Chart of Accounts' the option 'Reval.
(Currency)' is active.
Thanks.

Urgent -There is any transaction as to be able to upload one or more transactions from an excel with a fixed rate without getting the rates from the SAP exchange rate table? It’s like a normal G/L document posting but with a fixed rate. And with capability of being parked without changing the fixed rate previously imputed.
    Thanks and best regards,

    Hi Juan,
Have you tried this opening the form settings of the Journal Entry and in the document tab have you unchecked convert FC to LC field.
[https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=21694122] as per the note it is only used for reporting purpose. to manually change you will need to uncheck the convert FC to LC

  • Why do I get "Publish Failed" when I select F4V with fixed frame rate?

I have created several projects from scratch in Captivate 5. My publishing functionality seems to be increasingly impaired. I have rebooted and uninstalled + reinstalled Captivate 5.
In the beginning I got this message when I was publishing a specific project with the media option F4V with fixed frame rate, but now I am getting it on all my projects regardless of my publishing selections.
I am running on Windows 7, and I think it is Windows that is suggesting that I 'debug' the program. Clicking 'Debug' takes me to a dialog box where I can choose between Visual Studio 2005 or Visual Studio 2008, none of which seem to be a good solution.
Here is a print of my publishing options:

    Chinmay Baid,
Thank you for your reply - over the past few days I have been able to
narrow the problem down a little more.
When working with Captivate 5, I am able to work with and open any
published file until I turn that file into a Zip file.  Upon unZipping,
the file becomes unusable by my computer and by my LMS (Cornerstone).
I am using Adobe Flash Professional CS5 and I am able to run any SWF file
on my machine if the file has never been zipped.  I am using Captivate 5
in administrator mode.  Somehow, the zip process is making the files
unusable, and my LMS requires that files be zipped before they can be
    uploaded.
Thank you for any advice or help you may be able to offer.

  • The Cube with ID = Rate doesn't exist in the collection Error Message

When doing a Full Optimization in the Rate cube I get a "The Cube with ID = Rate doesn't exist in the collection" error message. What is causing this error and how do I fix it?

I have seen this error when reporting services was not properly configured. can you connect to http://servername/reports ?
If not try to fix reporting services first, this solved the problem for me in the past.
But usually in this case all the aplications are giving this error when modifying. Is this also the case in your appset?
Does Apshell work when you modify the application there?

  • Issue of Material on free /Fixed rate recovery basis to contractor

    Hi friends,
I have one scenerios as follows:
Purchasing dept. issues one contract to service provider with some conditions like some of the material willbe issued on free basis, some of the material willbe issued on fixed rate recovery basis. Is there any facility to-be provided in contracts with materials and fixed prices otherthan sub-contracting procedures.
with 541 movement type we are transferring our material to contractor and simulateneously he will submit monthly consumption statement, based on the statement we have to book that qty for project consumption. Can we book consumption from vendor stock?
Please guide me. If required i will provide further details..
    Awaiting for reply..

    Hi,
The best way to handle this scenarion in ps:
1.The vendor who is engaged to carry out services for the project can be charged with service entry sheet , which is the simplest way rather than using claims management.
    2. If the vendor is engaged for the project & he has been instructed for free issue of material for services, If  any case he has been charged with extra materials,So in that scenario for  the extra service done by the vendor to the material will be charged, and this amount can be increased through po ammnedment for invoice to that vendor, rather than FI postings & claim management, And remaing process of collecting the material from stores on reservation basis, & issueing material to vendor for free issue will be same scenaio.

  • How to post/configure revaluation of Fixed Assets

    hello gurus,
i want step by step customization for revaluating fixed assets.
    regards,
    anand

    Hi,
For revaluation of asset we have two options available
1.<b>Indexed Replacement</b><u></u><i></i>:In this case change in value of asset is posted automatically at the time of depreciation posting. In this method we have to define index series.Follow the steps given below
    a. Deifne dep area (OR64) In this step we determine the dep area in which we want to manage revaluation of assets.
    b.Define Index series(OAV5)
c.Enter index series in asset class or asset master record(as02) for the specific dep area.
2.<b>Revaluation with Inflation management</b>:<u></u> In this case either we can go for one time revaluation or periodic revaluation.

  • Configuration of OTC Derivaties - with interest rates -CAPS-Floor - LBIOR.

    Hi guys,

settle the contract in TO04  - Post the deal in TBB1. Don't know what next.
    My Questions are
what is next cycle process after we settle the deal and post the same in TBB1.
how we do adjustments to interest rates - dont know how to use transaction code TPM80.
how the treasury end user will do the valuation on the contracts every 3 months. what is the transaction used to do the valuation.
Can some please let us know the transaction cycle flow of this.
    Awaiting your response.

  • Fixed rate indicator flag in transaction OC47

    Hi,
There is a flag which can be used when we maintain exchange rate types in IMG or transaction OC47.
    2) Fixed rate indicator flag : Exchange rate type useS fixed exchange rates (field XFIXD in table TCURV)
What is the functionality behind this flag ?
Note: I have gone through SAP documentation but it is not very clear...
    Regards,
    Rajesh.

    Hi......
Instead of calculating the exchange rate the system takes a fixed amount while you enter the currency in any transaction.
SAP Documentation is something like this:
Indicator: Exchange rate type uses fixed exchange rates
Describes an exchange rate type that works with fixed exchange rates.
Exchange rate fixing affects the application if exchange rates are to be
calculated from currency amounts you have entered. In this case, the
system may continue processing using the fixed exchange rate instead of
the exchange rate calculated. If exchange rates other than the fixed
exchange rates are used, the system displays warning messages or error
        messages.
    Example
        1. As from 01.01.1999, the currencies of the Member States of
           European Monetary Union are fixed.
        2. If the exchange rate type is G (which functions as the bank buying
rate to the average rate M) and this indicator is set, one fixed
           exchange rate only is used.
    Award points if useful

    You have 3 options.

  • Fixed rate / adsl | slow speed connection

    Hi guys
Around 2 weeks ago I've installed my "Unlimited Broadband" 16 Mbps BT package. I'm connected to the main socket, I tried both filters, I tested speed on various speed tests on both wifi and ethernet and never exceeded 2 Mbps. My router is BT Home Hub 4.
It seems to me that I'm experiencing fixed rate connection speed instead of the one I'm paying for..

I agree with you that for some reason some customers do get on adsl2 right from the outset even though conenction speed is <8mb - that's wholesale for you  a rule unto themselves very similar to openreach

  • How to load unicode data files with fixed records lengths?

    Hi!
To load unicode data files with fixed records lengths (in terms of charachters and not of bytes!) using SQL*Loader manually, I found two ways:
Alternative 1: one record per row
SQL*Loader control file example (without POSITION, since POSITION always refers to bytes!)<br>
    LOAD DATA
    CHARACTERSET UTF8
    LENGTH SEMANTICS CHAR
    INFILE unicode.dat
    INTO TABLE STG_UNICODE
    TRUNCATE

    C CHAR(2) ,
    D CHAR(1) ,
    E CHAR(4)
    ) Datafile:

    02ÄÜÖßêÊûÛxöööö
    03ÄÜÖßêÊûÛxöööö
    04üüüüüüÖÄxµôÔµ Alternative2: variable length records
    LOAD DATA
    CHARACTERSET UTF8
    LENGTH SEMANTICS CHAR
    INFILE unicode_var.dat "VAR 4"
    INTO TABLE STG_UNICODE
    TRUNCATE
    A CHAR(2) ,
    B CHAR(6) ,
    C CHAR(2) ,
    D CHAR(1) ,
    E CHAR(4)
    ) Datafile:
    001501NormalDExZWEI002702ÄÜÖßêÊûÛxöööö002604üuüüüüÖÄxµôÔµ Problems
Implementing these two alternatives in OWB, I encounter the following problems:
    * How to specify LENGTH SEMANTICS CHAR?
    * How to suppress the POSITION definition?
    * How to define a flat file with variable length and how to specify the number of bytes containing the length definition?
Or is there another way that can be implemented using OWB?
    Any help is appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Carsten.

    Hi Carsten
If you need to support the LENGTH SEMANTICS CHAR clause in an external table then one option is to use the unbound external table and capture the access parameters manually. To create an unbound external table you can skip the selection of a base file in the external table wizard. Then when the external table is edited you will get an Access Parameters tab where you can define the parameters. In 11gR2 the File to Oracle external table can also add this clause via an option.
