  • Revoke TECO Status for CO Production Order SAP R/3 3.1H

    Hi All,
We are still on SAP R/3 3.1H
Recently, a user accidentally TECO a CO Production Order and now required to revoke the TECO status. There was a similar case back in 2004 and I posted the issue to SAPOSS but did not get it resolved. At that time I was told that it is not possible to revoke TECO status on 3.1H. Furthermore, I was told that a solution can be provided but it is 'billable' due to the nature of the issue which is not a system bug but more of an operational issue.
On the recent case, the chronicle events are as follow:
    1. User A created, released, and created settlement rule for the order. This was done on month end (previous period as suppose to the current period).
    2. User A then proceed to do good receipt of the order but 'forgotten' to indicate that it was a complete delivery. This was done on current period but posting & document date is on previous period.
    3. Another user, B, try to issue settlement for previous period but failed. System return message saying order delivery is not complete and advice to 'complete technically' the order (error message is misleading).
    4. User A then proceed to 'TECO' the order without further checking. Apparently, no period selection for doing this posting; system just take the current date (current period).
    5. User B still not able to settle the order on the previous period which it is supposed to settled. Settlement only possible for current period, the period the order was 'TECO'.
The CO Production Order is now 'stuck'; no movement type can done on it, cannot settle on previous period as required. If at all possible, 'TECO' status need to be revoke so that other posting for previous period can be done on the CO Production Order.
Is there anyone out there know a workaround or solution, including ABAB program to revoke 'TECO' status for SAP R/3 3.1H.
    Any advice appreciated.
    Regards,
    Wilson Rotop

    Hi,
Again, revoke TECO option not available on SAP R/3 3.1H.

  • User status for Notification

Hi all, I want to change the user status NOCO(Notification completed) for M2 type of notification in the Quality client.I did it in Dev client for M2(Break down Notn) and imported the TR to Quality. When i try to assign this status in Quality client, the system is throwing an error as follows.
Status NOCO is not allowed (QNF 10039901).   Solution please. Also provide the path in SPRO.
    Thanks in advance,
    Venu.

Have you completed all of the tasks in the notification. Has the Notification the following system status : ATCO ,
If not, you would not be able to complete the Notification. Try Completing all the tasks and then mark the Notification as Complete.
If you have defined any user status to be NOCO, then check that whether in the User status profile, against the current user status of the Notification, the lowest and Highest columns allow the NOCO status or not. Include the status number for NOCO against the current user status. This would solve the problem.
Path for User Status Profile Creation and Assignment:
SPRO>Plant Maintenance and Customer Service>maintenance and Service Notifications>Notification Processing>User Status For Notifications-->Define Status Profile

  • Tracking completion status for long running DML operations

    Does anybody know:
Is there any possibility to track a completion status for long running DML operations (for example how many rows is inserted)?
For example if I execute an INSERT statement which is working for several hours it is very important to estimate the total time for this operation.
    Thanks forward

I'm working with Oracle8 in present, and unfortunately this solution (V$SESSION_LONGOPS)cannot help me.
On Oracle8 it works, but with some restrictions:
    - You must be using the cost-based optimizer
    - Set the TIMED_STATISTICS or SQL_TRACE parameter to TRUE
    - Gather statistics for your objects with the ANALYZE statement or the DBMS_STATS package.

  • User status for Notification and Work order

We generate Service Notification IW26. I have already configured user status like PMND (Planning order not done), AWOP (Awaiting ordered parts) etc. in the Work order a while ago. Now the user wants same User status to the Notification as well. I like to know from experts what is the value added to have the same user status for both Notification and Work Order?
    Do you have any suggestions?

    Hey Chandra,
The customer intent behind this requirement must be to check in reporting / List Display Transaction about the Order Status. If they want to know looking at a Pending Notification List about the Order Status, you can always provide similar report using SAP Query Builder or with help of your Developer.
Apart from that If the Requirement is to have these User Statuses in Notification itself, Please advice them that it will be extra activity while performing transaction.
I dont see any other benefit of having User Statuses added to Notification as well.
Do let me know if you have some more info on Why Customer is requesting this....
    Regards,
    Avi

  • Definitions of status for notifications

I want to send a notification to students who have been active in a curriculum to let them know there's going to be a new version coming out soon, but I can't find who gets included in the various status categories.
The curriculum only has one completion requirement (an exam), so I don't care if you have attempted and failed the exam or have only been working in other lessons but have not yet attempted the exam. What I don't want to do is send the notification to enrollees who have never even opened the curriculum.
Does " Enrollees who have failed or not completed the curriculum." include those who are enrolled but have never started (they clearly haven't completed it) or only those who have at least opened the curriculum (my target)?

    Brian,
But there isn't a TECO status on a notification - do you mean an order???

  • Nomination Line Item complete status set automatically

Can you please point me to the config area to control the Nomination line item status completion.
Recently we have upgraded to service pack 12 and after that when we actualize the ticket, system is automatically setting nomination line item status as complete and thus blocking us from updating the event text details .
Can you please let me know where is the config for controlling the completion status for nomination line item
    Thanks
    Giri

    Hi ,
it is actually set automatically when the ticket qty is within the defined nom tolerance.
So check the tolerance settings on the nom. There is no other config here. You can influence the behaviour with BAdI implementations (OIJ_TKT)

  • Set a User Status for Quality Notifications only if they are "Activated".

    Hello experts:
I need to be able to set a User Status for Quality Notifications only if they are "Activated".
When defects are recorded for an inspection lot, a "Defect Notification" is created which can be activated to become a "Quality Notification".  Initially, the only difference between the inactive "Defect Notification" and the active  "Quality Notification" is that  the system status DEFR is active for the "Defect Notification", but is cleared when the notification is activated.
So, I'm looking for the business process associated with the Activation to use as a trigger for my own user status.
I checked the business rules for status DEFR and found that the following processes clear this status
      PMM1 -  Postpone Notification
PMM2 -  Put Notification In Process
      PMM3 -  Assign Order
PMM6 -  Put Notification In Process Again
    Any Ideas ?

Perhaps some additional information would help you understand what I need to do.
For notification type F3, we are recording all defects found in production.
Most of these are expected defects that result in a minor reduction in yield.
For this type of defect, we do not activate the notification, and the inspection lot is closed automatically at the end of production.
However, sometimes defects are observed of an unexpected type or a higher than expected quantity.
When this happens we manually activate the notification and assign tasks to find and correct the cause.
It is only for these activated notifications that I want to automatically set a user status, which among other things, will prevent the notification from being closed until some other actions are complete and a different user status is selected.
The function of the user status currently works exactly as I want, but if it is set as the initial status for all F3 notifications, it is also preventing the un-activated defect notifications from automatically closing.  I therefore want to use the Activation event as the trigger to set my user status.

  • Update System Status for Quality Notification

I have a program that completes a Quality Notification.
I would like to know if there is a bapi, badi or function module to change the system status before I complete the notification. When I click on the icon in the notification to complete it, a pop up box comes up to change the status to NOTI or NOTE. I would like to do the same in my program before I complete it.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Marianne

    Hi,
You need to get the OBJNR(object number) for the notifications and then use the FM: STATUS_READ.
This FM will give you list of all the status or only active status( Set ONLY_ACTIVE = X in FM)..
    Hope this helps
    Regards

  • Does the Task Status Email Notification definition work for you?

    Hi,
Have you ever set the email definition Task Status Email Notification? Worked?
I've configured this template in my process tasks notifications. The e-mails for C and R status were sent OK but the values were all empty. Below are the subject and body of this email definition.
    Subject
    Process task <Process Definition.Tasks.Task Name> is <Process Instance.Task Details.Data>.
    Body
    The Process task <Tasks.Task Name> is <Task Details.Status>.
The details of this process task are as follows:
    Process Task Name: <Process Definition.Name>
    Process Task Status: <Task Details.Status>
    Resource Name: <Resource.Resource Name>
    Target User: <Users.First Name> <Users.Last Name> [<Users.User ID>]

    Response Code : <Responses.Response>
    Response Description : <Responses.Description>
    Error Details : <Task Details.Reason>

    Thanks for your attention.
For all custom process tasks I have set this definition to notify the target user, for example, when the task is Completed or Rejected. For all all I've got the same problem: the notification e-mail is sent but the values are all empty.

  • Exit or Badi for controlling the change of user status in notification

    Hi,
I want to check the current user status of notification while saving the notificaton. If the current user status satisifies particular situation, then the notification should be save else not.
Is there any user exit or Badi which can be used to control the change of user status in notification.
    Thanks
    SUMIT

    Hi Pushpa,
    Thanks for the reply.
the problem over here is that the BADi IQS0_STATUS_MAINTAIN only allows to disable the user status.
the other function module STATUS_READ only fetches the data from JEST.
whereas my problem is that i want to check on the changed status on the screen(which is not saved also).
Appreciate your reply on the same.
    Thanks

  • Notifications of XI-mgs in status 'System Error - Manual Restart Possible'

    Dear colleagues,
I'm using a simple communication channel of type 'GeneratedReceiverChannel_XI' in order to push XML-messages from the intergration engine into the ABAP-Backend using an ABAP server proxy. Many of these messages, however, show an error status in the XI-monitor (Notifications of XI-mgs in status 'System Error - Manual Restart Possible'). The indication of the system error is OK, since the XML-parser correctly detects a character in a field which shall be mapped to a field of type 'DEC' in the ABAP backend.
Is there any possibility to configure some type of alerting in the ABAP-backend to track especially the appearence of XML-messages in the XI-monitor with status 'System Error'?
Thanks a lot and kind regards
    Stefan

    HI,
As its mentioned in above postes, you can configure the Alert notification in XI which can give you the alerts about this kind of errors.
If the exception is raised after reaching to ABAP backend R/3 Side, then you may trace it in t-code SXMB_MONI of R/3.

  • Completion date for manually created maintenance notification

    Hi All,
When closing maintenance notification created manually by t-code- IW21,there is no field to enter completion date & time. System is proposing the current  date as completion  date by default. However , as I have flagged u201Ccompletion datau201D  in maintenance plan category for notification ,system is asking/proposing completion date/time during NOCO of preventive maintenance.
Where I can do settings in configuration so that system  will ask/propose to enter completion date/time during NOCO of manually created notification by t-code IW21?
    rgds
    rajib

In notification type views you have option to set Reference date & time- if you set it to A- Malfunction start date & time will
be proposed, if  you set it to B- Notification receipt date & time will be proposed, if you set it to C- Malfunction end time will
be proposed, & in case of D - current date & time of completion of notification will be proposed while completing notification.
Better set it to B & make the field malfunction start date & time mandatory  so that your history will be with reference to malfunction start. Or you can set it to A, C or D as per your requirement
