Rfc Destination problem in RFC Sender Adapter
Hi experts
I created a Rfc destination type TCP/IP for Rfc Sender adapter.
while creating i passed following parameter:
1) I selected Activation Type option-> Registered Server
2)Given a Program id , same as i given in Rfc sender Adapter config.
3)Gateway option:
i) Gateway Host:Server IP address where i created Rfc.
ii) Gateway Service:sapgw00
After making these entry, i m unable to receive message at XI end (I am executing Rfc at R/3 site due to Rfc sender)
Hi
please check for the following things.
1. check the RFC destination using the connection test tab in the R/3 system.
2. check whether the program id that u have given is registered or not.
to check the program id go to the transaction SMGW, in the menu select Goto-->LoggedonClients
check for ur program id name in the table.
3. when you configure the RFC sender adapter in XI then you have to give the same program id name that you will give while creating the RFC destination in the R/3 system.
if u still face the problem please reply me back.
Thanks

Select query problem in JDBC sender adapter
Hello Experts,
We have a problem with PI sender adapter that PI has started to miss records in database some database records are missing and we are using the below selet query :
SELECT * FROM [database name].[dbo].[Material_Movement] WHERE [Process_Order_Number] = (Select TOP 1 [Process_Order_Number] FROM [database name].[dbo].[Material_Movement] WHERE ([PI_Read_Date] IS NULL AND [Movement_Type] = (SELECT TOP 1 [Movement_Type] FROM [database name].[dbo].[Material_Movement] WHERE [Transaction_Code] = 'xyz' AND [PI_Read_Date] IS NULL ORDER BY Created_Date ASC))) AND [Transaction_Code] = 'xyz' AND [Movement_Type] = (SELECT TOP 1 [Movement_Type] FROM [database name].[dbo].[Material_Movement] WHERE [Transaction_Code] = 'xyz' AND [PI_Read_Date] IS NULL ORDER BY Created_Date ASC) AND [PI_Read_Date] IS NULL ORDER BY [Transaction_ID] ASC
I am weak in select query could you please check and suggest how the query can be modified to avoid this issue .
Thanks,
SomenathHi ,
After looking into These Query .. I found ...
Your Query Will run such Kind of scenario ..
1.) Movement Type will be fetched from from below Query
SELECT TOP 1 Movement_Type
FROM database name.dbo.Material_Movement
WHERE Transaction_Code = 'xyz'
AND PI_Read_Date IS NULL
ORDER BY Created_Date ASC
2.) on the basis of abovr fetched moment code . your Query will fetch 1 Process Order number
Select TOP 1 Process_Order_Number
FROM database name.dbo.Material_Movement
WHERE ( PI_Read_Date IS NULL
AND Movement_Type = Moment Type will be same as 1.
3.)
After Getting 1 and 2 . Query will fetch Data from table " dbo.Material_Movement "
On the basis of ..
Movement_Type = value from 1.
Process_order_type = value from 2.
Transaction_Code = 'xyz'
ORDER BY Transaction_ID ASC
So check Missed record Fullfill this Condition or not ....................
If not ... You will get why they are not picked by your given Query ...........
Hope it helps ..

HTTP with RFC destination problem
Hi,
We're doing an SAP R/3 --> XI --> External System scenario. We've had no problems making the SAP R/3 to XI work. For XI to External System, we're using the Plain HTTP adapter with an RFC destination. The Server, Intermediate and Root CA of the External System have been already installed on the ABAP layer of XI using the transaction STRUST/STRUSTSSO2 . The Server Certificate and Root CA of XI have also been installed on the External System Server. The problem is that everytime we test the RFC destination, we are still getting an ICM_HTTP_SSL_ERROR
Additional Parameters:
SSL has been enabled on the RFC destination
All three certificates can be found in STRUST
RegardsHI
is the certificate same for both of you have installed external system certificate and external system have PI certificate
Check SAP note 510007
Check similar threads

Creation of RFC Destination problem
Hi Experts,
I need to establish an RFC communication between TREX7.0 server running on windows 2003 server and the SAPR/3 4.7 EE server running on windows2000.
server. Initially i used TREXAdminTool to create RFC Destination, i was unable to create successfully
Then i used SAPR/3 server from TCODE: SM59, here also am facing the same problem, what are the values i have to give for
1. RFC Destination, 2. Program id 3. Gateway Host and Gateway Service.
PLZ guide me step by step procedure with some example values to create RFC Destination to TREX Server successfully using TREXAdminTool or from SAPR/3 server---SM59
ADV Thanks
Regds
phanikumarHi,
Till now i didn't install explicitly any SAP Gateway on TREX server.
I installed TREX server along with SAP Netweaver WEB AS java.
Shall i need to install any SAP Gateway to configure RFC Destination?
If so can you give me the procedure how to install explicitly SAP gateway?

TCP/IP RFC destination problem
Hi All,
During the RFC destination creation, im using TCP/IP connections.. So please tell me what should be filled for the following fields:
Program
Target Host
Save as Hostname Ipaddress
Please let me knw what should be the required steps, since when i had provided some information in these fields and tried to test; it gives the following error:
Error Details timeout during allocate / CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPCMRCV' : cmRc=20 thRc=456 Timeout dur
Error Details ERROR: timeout during allocate
Error Details LOCATION: SAP-Gateway on host DELECC6IDES / sapgw00
Error Details DETAIL: no connect of TP PROGRID from host DELECC6IDES.bcone.com after 20 sec
Error Details COMPONENT: SAP-Gateway
Any valuable help?
Thanks
rohithDont worry
Sender Port is not mandatory. Only the target port is mandatory
In SM59,
-Have you given the connection type as 3
-In the Target Host, give the IP Address of the target server
-System Number is to be filled
-Now, go to the Logon/Security tab,
-Give the language
-Client
-Username and Password of the destination server
-Now. Save it.
-Test Connection.
Hope the information is helpful -
Creation of RFC Destination for Syncronouse RFC adapter.
Hi,
Can any one please give me step by step process to create RFC destination in XI and SAP-R3. plz help me out
thanks,
dhanush. No one is going to help you if you keep posting same question multiple times.
You need to priovide more details on what you are doing ? There are many reasons why you create a RFC destination in XI and R3. There are multiple types of RFC destinations. What is the end to end scenario you want to implement. It all depends on this. Try to provide more details.

RFC destination problem in SWF_XI_CUSTOMIZING
Hi,
SWF_XI_CUSTOMIZING
While performing SAP XI customizing (Automatic workflow customizing) on the node Maintain Runtime Environment, the system is asking question like below..
Configure RFC Destination:
RFC user has wrong password. Synchronize password?
Thanks,Hi Raja,
check the RFC destination from R/3 to XI and XI to R/3....
The Business Process Engine (BPE) processes integration processes at runtime. Since the BPE uses functions of the Workflow Engine and generates workflows from integration processes at runtime, you must customize the Workflow Engine automatically by using transaction SWF_XI_CUSTOMIZING before you can use the BPE.

Problem in File Sender Adapter in File with quotes
Hi experts.
We're having a problem in File Sender Adpapter.
We've configured the adapter with FCC. We use the fieldSeparator = ; to convert the file to xml.
The problem arises when between two ; appears a quote. For insantce in this line:
HUMALVAL MASCOTAS S.L.;"AV/DE EUROPA SN;P.IND.ALCORCO;28922;ALCORCON;40.349968;-3.847452;
The adapter shows this error:
More elements in file csv structure than field names specified.
If the line was (without "):
HUMALVAL MASCOTAS S.L.;AV/DE EUROPA SN;P.IND.ALCORCO;28922;ALCORCON;40.349968;-3.847452;
everything would work correctly.
How could we solve this?
Thanks in advance.
Regards.Hi,
Please use xml.enclosureSign=u201C in your sender FCC.
Hopes this helps to you.

Problem in file sender adapter for newline character
Hi All,
I'm trying to read a file of only one record with the following fields.
Name
Age
Place
<b>Each field is seperated by a new line</b> which is the cause of the problem.
<b>The problem is the value 'nl' for x.fieldSeperator is not been recognised in file sender adapter.</b>
The adapter creates a new record (new XML) for each individual field seperated by new line.
<b>I've tried even with the corresponding hexadecimal values '0x0a' and '0x0d'.</b>
Looking for some help.
Thanks,
Joe.Hi Shabarish,
Thanks for your reply. But I tried that too already... It also didn't work..
File adapter is successful... But it generates seperate records for each fields that's wat the prob is..
Thanks,

Problem with JDBC Sender adapter
hi guys!
I´ve problem in PI 7.0, with the JDBC Sender Adapter, execute select sentence and update status in Oracle database.
In RWB Message Monitoring and SXMB_MONI I can't see any message.
Someone have any idea how to fix it?
Thanks in advance.Hi David,
First check on the sender communication channel, if no data has been picked up by PI on channel,
then check the configuration of channel in the ID, especially select query.
If that is ok, then ask the sender application team(oracle database team) to run the query on their side
and to check if they are getting any data.
There could be the possibility of error in data also.

Hi All,
I am trying to Pick two different XML types of Messages from a Single Queue.
For Example :- Despatch Advice and Replishment Proposal.
Queue Name is : - JMS_XI_Sender
SAP XI is not allowing me to create two different sender agreements for the same communication channel.
Service :- BS_JMS
Interface : - Despatch_Advice_OB
CC :- JMS_SENDER
and
Service :- BS_JMS
Interface : - Replishment_Proposal_OB
CC :- JMS_SENDER
Can any one tell how can SAP XI will differentiate these two messages and sends to two different receivers.Hi Rama,
I am using XML Despatch Advice and Replishment Proposal types .
Basically I do have one sender which will post Two types of XML messages in to one single MQ Queue.
SAP XI/PI has to pick that message and then needs to check what is the Value in the "Message Type" Tag .
I do also have two different Interfaces and Mappings and Two different Receivers.
Depending on the value in Message Type SAP XI/PI has to check for the Particular Interface and Mapping, finally needs post the message to Particular Receiver
You need to have defined two different sender agreements with two different Communication channels.
In the JMS adapter Sender configuration you can mention the Queue name to pick the message . After picking the message the JMS sender adapter need to map it to the correct message type - it is defined by message interface defined in the sender agreement .
Please let us know if you need any further calrification.

Problem with file sender adapter and endSeparator
Hy,
have the following situation: with a sender File adpater i have to receive the same structure of data but in two mode.
1) First mode : each recorset is defined as a file line
Example (not fields separator):
fielda,fieldb,fieldc
field2a,field2b,field2c
2) Second mode : recorset of the same line without end
separator and fieldseparator
Example (not fields separator):
fielda,fieldb,fieldc,field2a,field2b,field2c,......
I configured the adapter as follow.
structure.fieldFixedLengths 1,2,3
structure.fieldNames field1,field2,field3
structure.lastFieldsOptional YES
structure.processFieldNames fromConfiguration
structure.endSeparator 'nl'
PROBLEM
Mode 1) works but mode 2) doesn't work.
Could anyone solve my problem??
Thank's
MatiHi,
Try using two differnt record structure name for each mode.for eg give it as structure1 and structure2.then u give the content conversion parameter for both the recordset depending on ur requirement i.e, with and without end seperator.

Format of "JMS Message Destination Parameter" for JMS Sender Adapter
Hi,
I am trying to use the JMS Sender Communication Channel for several Interfaces by using the "JMS Message Destination Parameter". Currently, the Comm.Channel is reading the message and puts it back on the queue with the following error:

at com.ibm.mq.jms.MQSession.createDestination(MQSession.java:1092)

What is the format I will have to fill this parameter with in order for XI to understand it? I have tried the following so far which did not work:
1. (as in error message above)
Help much appreciated.
KR,
Colin. One option in BPEL is to have a mid process receive, but this would require you to handle the Correlation of the message with BPEL process instance.
Please refer the following section in SOA Guide for the same.
Using Correlation Sets and Message Aggregation - 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.7)
Please note the example is with File adapter but the same can be achieved for Any Adapter. -

Siingle RFC destination for many XI scenarios
Hi,
I have 3 RFC->XI scenarios.
can i use the same RFC destination defined in SM59 in all the three RFC Communication channels? I tried using it. But one of the RFC channel is failing.
Can we use the same RFC destination in more than one RFC communication channels?
