Richtext editor = Internal Error?

Hi,
May be temporary bug:
- Submitting post from Richtext editor led to Internal Error screen. When browsing back to previous page (hit back button of browser, I use Firefox 3.03) the content is lost.
- Preview doesn't work
Hope that will be fixed soon.

I have noticed the same bug, if you submit your post from rich-text mode, it's very likely to get directed to site unavailable page.

  • An internal error occurred while writing imported graphics in this document. The file has been saved

An internal error occurred while writing imported graphics in this document. The file has been saved, but has lost some image data. Please report this error to Adobe Technical Support.
How do i fix this, there are no images in the document
    thanks
    emma

We are running FM version 7.2b144 on MS Win xp Pro (32 bit), and I did not notice this until service pack 3 was installed. I believe I have found a work around to the situation and another contributing cause. If graphic files are placed directly in an anchored frame instead of importing by reference, the file somehow becomes misplaced. If you right click the graphic and open the Object Properties dialog box, and see the phrase "no referenced file" below Main Editor: Referenced File: in the lower left hand corner, this has happened. I found if I removed all graphics files without references and imported them by reference, the source file may then be properly saved. I am also using a program called CCleaner, which removes cookies, temp files, browsing history and the like from a system. If the program settings are chosen too aggressively, and the application runs when FM has a file open, this same error will occur, even if all files are referenced properly. I don't know if SP3 has some similar application which is now running in the background and causing this.
To summarize, if you want to retain SP3, I have eliminated this error by confirming the links to referenced graphics files and avoiding using 3rd party "cleaners" while FM is open.

  • Internal error when deploying a mapping

    Helllo,
I am getting an ORA-00600 internal error when I deploy a mapping using the following case statement (case statement executes fine in SQLplus):
    CASE WHEN (LINE_CANCEL_FLAG ='Y' OR PO_CANCEL_FLAG = 'Y')
    THEN ('Y')
    ELSE ('N')
    END
If I comment out the "OR" section it deploys without errors:
    CASE WHEN (LINE_CANCEL_FLAG ='Y' )
    --OR PO_CANCEL_FLAG = 'Y')
    THEN ('Y')
    ELSE ('N')
    END
    What am I doing wrong?

    Hello again,
Please observe that I asked whether you pressed the Validate button in EXPRESSION BUILDER (the window that appears every time you click on the ellipsis ... in the property editor for every SQL or PL/SQL expression property), not whether you validated the mapping (as a whole). These are separate things.
The mapping can be validated OK with expression syntax errors, but the mapping PL/SQL code cannot be compiled / deployed.

  • VLD-1141: Internal error during mapping generation.

I am getting the "VLD-1141: Internal error during mapping generation" error when deploying a mapping. This mapping was previously working fine. As part of a re-factoring effort, for all the underlying tables and views, we replace 2 existing columns with a new column. All the objects were successfully re-imported and synchronized in the mapping. The mapping is using Mapping Input Parameter, Lookups, Expression Transformations, Splitter, Set Operator, Source & Target Tables. All these transformation were part of the earlier working version of the mapping.
On doing validation within the mapping, I get a success message followed by 4 warning for the Lookup Condition on key Lookup does not contain a complete unique key. Before the re-factoring effort, I was getting the same 4 warning messages, however the mapping was executing correctly.
When I do Generate within the mapping, I get the following message:
    Code cannot be generated.
Click the message tab for details.
In the Design Center, when I do a validation on the mapping I get the following error:
VLD-1141: Internal error during mapping generation.

    Hi,
I think your mapping is corrupted by converting two columns to one. The owb has always a problem if you change the structure of a table which is bound to a table operator. The way to avoid this is to drop the table operator after changing the table in the table editor and recreate it with the changed table definition.
Make a test: select the new attribut in the table operator and look left on the configuration window. To which table and attribute it's bound?

  • Internal Error 11004

I'm converting some projects from Framemaker 9 to Framemaker 11 using Dita 1.1 and the composite template. Initially, I had set up to use Dita 1.2 using the ditabase tempate but am changing them based on advice from the forum  Other than an error regarding an attribute that seemed to have been set for the dita tag in FM9 and not liked in FM11 DITA 1.1, all the files in all 3 projects converted fine to DITA 1.1 and the composite template -- except for 2 files.
For some reason when I try to open these two files in FM11 using DITA 1.1, FM crashes with the following error message:
Internal Error 11004, 23785796, 23786090, 26529493. FrameMaker has detected a serious problem and must quit. It generates a log file that means nothing to me.
I can still open these two files in an XML editor, in FrameMaker 9 and in FrameMaker 11 using DITA 1.2. and I don't see anything wrong with them.  But since all the rest of the files in the projects are using DITA 1.1, I need these files to open in DITA 1.1 too.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks for the help,
    Sharon

    Hi Sharon...
It might be easiest to just copy and paste the content into a new document created in FM11 .. if it's just two topics, that can't be worth spending much time on. If you want to track down the problem, start by deleting the xrefs, then see if it opens .. then delete any conrefs, and try again .. then delete half of the content, if it still doesn't open, put the deleted content back and try deleting the other half.
There are various reasons why some structure might cause FM to crash, but without seeing the files, it's hard to say what that might be.
    Good luck!

    Hi,
Thsi is the famous NULL pointer exeption. There may be multiple reasons for it and sometime it may also happen beacuse of lost connection to DB, instance may have gone off etc...You cannot retrive the work back as far as i know when u strike this error.
Plz save ur work after every change or operator u put into the mapping as a safety precausion.

    Thanks Andy
Ok... I found a way to fix by myself. All I have to do is to create a controller first and after this I have to apply the service controller. I don´t know why but it works. Both steps together doesn´t.
    Bye

I e-mailed tech support and got my answer.
I should have been using /dev/rdsk and not /dev/dsk when specifying the disk slice to put the file system on.

  • Dbx: internal error: signal SIGSEGV

    Hi All,
Using Sun Studio to build our C/C++ (with boost) application. When I try to debug with dbx I get:
dbx: internal error: signal SIGSEGV (no mapping at the fault address)
dbx's coredump will appear in /tmp
    Abort (core dumped)
Can anyone suggest a solution? More details follow.
    thanks

You have found bug in dbx. We would appreciate if you file it using bugs.sun.com or provide a testcase, in which case I'll file it myself. If you can't post source code here, maybe you can send binary on which dbx crashed to me by email - kms at sun dot com?

  • Internal error after editing a correspondent letter in E-Recruiting

    Hello,
    Running E-Recruiting 6.0 SP10
As a recruiter whenever I try to prievew a correspondent letter I modified (note, I have no problems editing the letter) using the correspondent letter editor, I recieve an "Internal Error".  Additionally, the following SLG1 error is created:
Form or text 472FCB84F86804EDE10000000A321A does not exist
Prior to editing the letter I am able to preview it using the display link just fine.  E-Recruiting should allow me to edit a letter and preview it prior to sending it to a candidate, yet at present it does not.
Any idea what this could be?
    Thanks, Ryan

    Hello Ryan,
with release 600 SAP e-recruiting offers 2 different implementations for changing correspondences / invitations. The classical solution uses a web editor. Therefore the complete smartform is rendered and then put in a web editor. As this solution lead to some problems in the printing channel, sap developed another concept of changing. The new solution uses a text edit to change a text block you can assign to the smartform as changable area and only this can be changed ensuring the formating of the smartform is still fine.
You have to decide which of these 2 options you want to use. You either use the old or the new solution for all correspondences and invitations.
The solutions differ in the following configuration points:
    - old: T77S0 RECFA INDCO is blank
    - new: T77S0 RECFA INDCO is X
    - old: document category for simple correspondence 1, for invitation 2
    - new: document category for simple correspondence 3, for invitation 4
(category for confirmation is always 5, there is no other option no matter which concept you use)
    - old: Assign changable letter sections to forms not available
    - new: Assign changable letter sections to forms not available
    - old: reference for SF interface simpl. corr. HRRCF_CS_APPLICANT, invitation HRRCF_CS_APPL_INVITATION
    - new: reference for SF interface simpl. corr. HRRCF_CS_IT_APPLICANT, invitation HRRCF_CS_IT_APPL_INVITATION
(basically the smartform interfaces differ in the parameter THEAD which is needed for the new but not for the old correspondence change concept)
Please check if your configuration is consistend for the concept you chose for your project. If not try adjust configuration and check if the error disappears.
If the error is still existing please give another reply.
    Best Regards
    Roman Weise

error message that says "An internal error has occurred" on one
line and another "An internal error has occurred" on a second line
below. Clicking OK allows the save, but it makes the "save as"
window act funky, and some of the controls (like up one level icon
or back icon) disappear. Makes it tough to navigate to the proper
    folder to save the file.
This began with my trial of Fireworks 8. Shortly thereafter,
I downloaded the trial for CS3, same error. Today I purchased
Fireworks CS3, uninstalled the trial and reinstalled the file
downloaded from Adobe. Same error. Never had this with MX2004.
Can't find this one anywhere on the web. Can anyone help?

    Hi
IIRC the IDE for Java Developers does not include the PDE SDK (Plug-In
Development Environment); so, either you install it in your Eclipse, or
you download at least "Eclipse for Committers" or "Eclipse for RCP".
    Hope this helps

  • Visudo internal error

I just decided to go in and change one of the configurations of the /etc/sudoers file, but running the appropriate commands to access the file returns the following error:
    [name@Arch ~]$ sudo VISUAL="/usr/bin/nano -p -X" visudo
visudo: internal error, tried to emalloc2(0)
A search of the Arch forums did not turn up any other accounts of this error, and the Google results are equally sparse.  The best discussion of the problem I found was on this site attributing the error to "the getgroups function always returns 0" and suggests fixing it in sudo 1.7.x with a patch.  Since the most current version is sudo 1.8.7, I don't think this applies anymore, though.
I am stumped at how I got the error in the first place or how to fix it so I can safely change the sudo configurations. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I can easily use either vim or nano by setting them as the editor in visudo:
    # Set default EDITOR to vim, and do not allow visudo to use EDITOR/VISUAL.
    #Defaults editor=/usr/bin/vim, !env_editor
    Defaults editor=/usr/bin/nano, !env_editor
Using the options you posted I broke my visudo:
    Defaults editor="/usr/bin/nano -p -X", !env_editor
    # visudo
    nano: invalid option -- 'X'

  • Error while creating SC: Internal Error - termination type TH_RES_FREE

Hi I encountered this error while creating a SC. All attributes for this user are maintained and the "check user" transaction does not give any error.
    Amol Mate
    Error when processing your request
    What has happened?
The URL http://punhjwsapsrm:8000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpsc02/! was not called due to an error.
    Note
The following error text was processed in the system SSS : Internal Error
The error occurred on the application server PUNHJWSAPSRM_SSS_00 and in the work process 1 .
    The termination type was: TH_RES_FREE
    The ABAP call stack was:
    Function: B40B_READ_TABLE of program SAPLBBP_BD_DRIVER_40B
    Function: META_READ_TABLE of program SAPLBBP_BD_META_BAPIS
    Form: LOCATIONS_READ of program SAPLBBP_ATTR_F4
    Function: BBP_ATTR_F4_SLOC_PPOMA of program SAPLBBP_ATTR_F4
    Form: STG_LOC_GET_FOR_LOCATION of program SAPLBBP_SC_APP
    Form: STG_LOC_GET of program SAPLBBP_SC_APP
    Form: LOCATION_STG_LOC_GET of program SAPLBBP_SC_APP
    Form: USER_ATTRIBUTES_GET of program SAPLBBP_SC_APP
    Form: SC_INIT of program SAPLBBP_SC_APP
    Function: BBP_SC_APP_EVENT_DISPATCHER of program SAPLBBP_SC_APP
    What can I do?
If the termination type was RABAX_STATE, then you can find more information on the cause of the termination in the system SSS in transaction ST22.
If the termination type was ABORT_MESSAGE_STATE, then you can find more information on the cause of the termination on the application server PUNHJWSAPSRM_SSS_00 in transaction SM21.
If the termination type was ERROR_MESSAGE_STATE, then you can search for more information in the trace file for the work process 1 in transaction ST11 on the application server PUNHJWSAPSRM_SSS_00 . In some situations, you may also need to analyze the trace files of other work processes.
If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.

    Hi Amol,
First of all the sicf transaction is to be used only if you use the internal ITS.
Now you have to put an external breakpoint in the source code of the ABAP Program or FM you want to debug , one of these in your case :
    Function: B40B_READ_TABLE of program SAPLBBP_BD_DRIVER_40B
    Function: META_READ_TABLE of program SAPLBBP_BD_META_BAPIS
    Form: LOCATIONS_READ of program SAPLBBP_ATTR_F4
    Function: BBP_ATTR_F4_SLOC_PPOMA of program SAPLBBP_ATTR_F4
    Form: STG_LOC_GET_FOR_LOCATION of program SAPLBBP_SC_APP
    Form: STG_LOC_GET of program SAPLBBP_SC_APP
    Form: LOCATION_STG_LOC_GET of program SAPLBBP_SC_APP
    Form: USER_ATTRIBUTES_GET of program SAPLBBP_SC_APP
Then launch the transaction in IE, once the program reaches a breakpoint, you'll get the ABAP debuger in IE.
    Regards.
PS: if it doesn't work, put the parameter ~generatedynpro in BBPGLOBAL service to have it applied to all BBP transactions

  • Internal error while overwriting a charecteristic value in a class

    Hi,
I am overwriting a charecteristic value in a class with a change master.
In CL02 I entered the class and the chnage number and entered in edit mode.
Then I selected the charecteristic view and selected the specific charectristic which value I need to overwrite and then clicked on "Overwrite Value" button.
Now the system has found an internal error: the required characteristic data was not found in characteristics maintenance.
Charecteristic data not found: Internal Error
Please tell me how can I get out of this error.

    hi,
Please check whether the overwriting indicator check box in character tab is select or not.
    It should be flagged.
    Thanks & regards
