Roaming issue - Layer 2 switch CAM table updates

Hi,
We have a setup with 2 WLC2500  and 10 1041 LAP distributed on various sites (3 or 2 per site), using HREAP (local switching, central auth) and AP Groups, for grouping the APs on each site.
On one site everything works fine, roaming was correctly done, and client could communicate inmediatly after the roaming process, but on other site we found that if we roam between the 2 APs found out that even the client get conected to the AP it takes about 300 second (5 minutes) for the client to get traffic forwarding.
Here i´m attaching the debug session for client and l2roam:

Already check everything you said, but no luck. Also check on another site and found out that could be a mac learning/updating issue with HP procurve 2510 switches. When a client roams from AP1 to AP2, on the switch the mac table entry for the client does not update to the port where AP2 is. After the mac-aging-time on the HP Procurve switch ends, the mac updates correctly and the traffic start going fine. Any ideas on how can i deal with this issue? Any configuration help for the WLC controller or APs? HP switches are configured as default (out-of-the-box).

  • Downloading camera RAW updates

As I recall, the issue of downloading camera RAW updates from Adobe has been addressed many times before. However, I've found that downloading the updates via Adobe's Internet updates download page on my Win 7 computer fail. I have to open Editor/Help/Updates to successfully download them. Works okay, but I can't help but wonder why downloading them from the Adobe's Internet page doesn't work?

I just updated PSE9 manually to ACR 6.4.1.
    Worked fine.

  • Camera raw update 3.2 create issues with panasonic square LX3 raw

    Hi everybody,
since I've installed the last camera raw update(ie 3.2), my square raw from my panasonic LX3 are not recognised anymore by snow leopard, I can't even get a preview on any of my square raw.
As it was working perfectly before this update, is there a way to remove this update?
    Can you reproduce this issue?
    thanks for your attention

I have the Leica D Lux 4 and it does the same thing with my camera using 1:1 aspect ratio. I've since rolled the raw update back to version 3 and all is normal again. If you read this thread, it explains how to roll back the raw update.

  • Issue downloading Camera Raw update: 'Update Not Applicable'

    Hi,
I'm running CS5 Extended 12.0x64, and started shooting with a canon 60D (previously 450D). i am having the issue of the Camera Raw images being unreadable, I presumed because of the new camera, but I am unable to install the 7.1 update on my Mac.
    Help?
    Thanks

The free DNG Converter could be used to convert the RAW images to DNG which your version of ACR should be able to process.

  • Hello Gurus..... ISSUE with child Table update

I have an issue with child table update
I have created a GTC with one parent table and two child tables. I'm able to update the parent table and the values are found in db, but the ISSUE is the child Table values are not updating the db.
    please give me a solution
    regards
    Srikanth

If you are keeping referential integrity in the database, not in the application, it is easy to find the child and parent tables. Here is a quick and dirty query. You can join this to dba_cons_columns to find out on which columns the referential constraints are defined. This lists all child-parent table including SYS and SYSTEM users. You can run this for specific users of course.
    select cons1.owner child_owner,cons1.table_name child_table,
    cons2.owner parent_owner,cons2.table_name parent_table
    from dba_constraints cons1,dba_constraints cons2
    where cons1.constraint_type='R'
    and cons1.r_constraint_name=cons2.constraint_name;

  • Unable to remove Static Drop entry | 2960 Cam Table

    Hi all,
I am facing a strange issue here on a production switch (Cisco 2960 IOS 12.2(55)SE5)
I have the following entry in my cam table:
    switch#show mac add int gi0/10
              Mac Address Table
    Vlan    Mac Address       Type        Ports
    123    1234.1234.1234 STATIC      Drop
Although this mac-id has not been statically entered in any way it shows up as static and I can't remove it. I tried all possible clear commands without success. As a last step I reset the interface to the default empty config just configuring it as access port in an office vlan.
I am trying to avoid having to reload the switch to clear the related memory as this generates downtime. Has anyone ever faced such an issue and can advise me?

    Hi Umesh,
Of course there is nothing with this mac in the config. That was like the first thing that has been checked. There was dot1x running on this and all the other ports which of course has been disabled and cleared accordingly.
The problem is that there is some sort of cam table holding the Drop entries and although it should the memory is not being freed up when using the commands according to the documentation.
This is definitely a question for an IOS geek or someone who already had a similar issue once. If I open a TAC case they will tell me to reboot so the only hope is really someone who had this issue already once and resolved it without reboot.
    Anyone with experience in this?

  • Creating Vlans at Core layer switches ?

Is there a need to create vlans at core layer switches ? If yes what are the pros and cons for this practice ?
Actually i have seen some networks doing that!

Well this is the topology that i'm working on.
we have implemented the 3 layer approach.
    1. At access layer: Switches are all L2 (for sure :) )
    2. At distribution layer: All switches are L3 are routes for incoming data.
    3. At core we have 2 6500 switches. One is configured as L3 and all vlans are created in it. Second is just as regular L2 device.
and ofcourse there are some switch blocks for server farms and the likes.
    My issue is
    1. why don't we create vlans at distribution layer switches.
    2. Why one core switch is acting as L2 and other is acting as L3. What will happen in case of failure to the one acting as L3.
Ps: the second issue just came up in my mind.

  • Win 7 PC freeze and block network access for other PC on same switch during windows update from WSUS

    Hello,
It's been a problem for me for a long time now, but the last time (today) I found 3 PC on 2 different switches that block all the network on this 2 switches during the update.
I have a Domain with 80 PC with Win 7 (32&64bit) that takes the updates from the WSUS server that is configured on a Win2k8 r2. The system works well from 2 years from now but sometimes cause this errors that make me look like a dummy in front of angry
employees. If one of the PC get freeze , it will cause lost of connection on all the PC on same switch, and i have to find the blocked PC, remove from network, restart switch and hope that they will came back on.
Does anyone experienced this problem? Any help will be appreciated
    Thank you!
List of updates for today below

    Hi
Thanks for your response, yes I understand that the result is a Broadcast Storm and yes I have the cheapest switch on market :/.
The interest fact is that on one PC, I changed everything and keep only the old HDD and on last updates yesterday it was one of the blocked one too. So this make
me doubt that is something wrong in software on that PC. I don't have any third-part programs except browsers and all have Genuine Win7
The only investigation remained is what happens during the update process?
    Is WSUS involved in something?
And another thing is the fact that some of the PC are cloned, but I have carefully changed the SID

  • How download cs5 Camera raw update and how make Photoshop the default in the Bridge "open" menu?

Two problems  which have defeated me.
First, I have a new Canon  EOS 500D  and need to download the  recent  (July  2010) CS5 Camera Raw update. However both of my computers freeze when I move from the Adobe Support web page to the Download web page.  Is this a known problem? What to do about it? I am using CS 5 on a Windows 2007 XP computer.
Second, (probably related to the first)   opening a file in Photoshop is not listed among  Bridge's  "OPEN AS" options. Also,  the "OPEN"  Default is "PAINT". How do I set Photoshop as the "OPEN"  menu  default?
Thanks for your suggestions. I am truly befuddled by these  issues.
    JackIsaac

Sounds like something is really wrong with your computer, and it isn't clear what, but if you're just having issues getting to the download link for ACR:
Here is the download page for ACR 6.1 update:
    http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4728
Here is the download page for the CS5 12.0.1 update:
    http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4733
If those links don't work, you can probably find the same updates on the FTP site, although some things here are more than a decade old:
    ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/photoshop/
See if Bridge and ACR are any happier after installing these two updates.  Make sure you run them as Administrator.
If those still don't work for you, try another browser, where Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Google Chrome should all work.
    http://www.microsoft.com/ie
    http://www.firefox.com/
    http://www.google.com/chrome
There are numerous other browsers, as well, but they probably won't work if the above three don't.
Perhaps you either have a virus that you should scan for, or over-zealous internet-protection software that you could try disabling temporarily.
My favorite free virus/malware scanner is from www.MalwareBytes.com
The payfor version will automatically update itself and scan, but the free version works just as well except you have to manually update and scan.

  • Can't get the Camera Raw update to 8.3

OK, this happens every time there is an update. I see that Adobe has an update for Photoshop CC, but the Creative Clod Desktop application says it is up to date, which it isn't. Have contacted Adobe support many times Twice today, the Chat people cut me off while transferring.
    What I have already done:
Since I have been through this many times, I know the standard drill well.
Log in and out via the desktop app. even go so far as to log out, quit, reboot the computer and log back in. Didn't help.
Delete the AAM & OOBE(?) stuff and do the same thing. Didn't help.
Uninstall and reinstall the Photoshop CC application. Reinstalled the 8.2 version of the plugin.
Uninstall and reinstall the Creative Clod Desktop application. Didn't help.
Contacted Adobe support and got cut off twice.
FWIW, I have a permanent license for Lightroom and got an update notice for it via the old style updater and it worked fine, but now I get a notice when I try to go to Photoshop that I need the Camera Raw 8.3 plugin which Adobe refuses to let me get.
This happens with every update, but the trick that worked the last time never works again. To say I am frustrated would be a massive understatement.

Oldbalddude to determine the exact cause of the installation failure I would recommend reviewing the installation log for Camera RAW update.  Please see Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CC - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cc.html for information on how to locate and interpret your installation log file.  Please feel free to post any specific errors you discover to this discussion thread.

  • CS4 and Yosemite, Camera Raw update

I bought a new apple macbook with Yosemite, I installed Adobe CS4.
    All good so far.
But when i wanted to install the Camera Raw update Adobe refused.
How can I install the newest Camera Raw?

You can't. The last version of Camera Raw supported by CS4 was 5.7, which is still worth having.
Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter : For Macintosh
You can use the latest version of DNG Converter. Set its Compatibility preference to Camera Raw 5.4 and later, and duplicate folders of raw files to DNG files, which can be opened by Camera Raw 5.7 running on CS4.

I am not sure that you will be able to. XP-64 was never supported in any version of PrPro. Some got later versions to run, but most usually had some issues.
You might do some research on DirectX, to see which versions were supported by XP-64. That OS, though providing beta-testing for 64-bit OS's to come, was essentially an evolutionary dead-end. It was completely replaced with Vista-64. Again, some users had issues with Vista-64 and later versions of PrPro, than yours. You might have better luck, trying Win7-64, but that is just a guess.
    Good luck,
