ROMMON image loading error

I have been given a Cisco 5940 router to repair.
Now this is an early unit with rommon version 12.4(20100825:230356) [javeri-javeri-v124_24_gc2_throttle-candidate 101].
My understanding is, the IOS was replaced and eversince has only booted into ROMMON.
I have successfuly updated the IOS from rommon but no matter which image I install, the unit refuses to boot off the image.
When the image is accessed from rommon using the boot command, an error "ELF Loader: wrong CPU type 0xd3 (instead of 0x0)"  is returned.
Any ideas as to what this error means, as another similar unit had it's IOS image updated successfully.
Kyle Arnold.

Hey Kyle,
I suggest opening a TAC case for this.
Regards,
RS.

    Hello,
    Found this on Metalink:
    Problem Description
    You are trying to use READ_IMAGE_FILE in forms to read a JPG image,
    but you receive the following error:
    FRM-47100: Cannot read image file <file name>
    You checked the following:
    o You are able to open the image file from Netscape or Internet Explorer and
    see your image correctly.
    o You are also sure that the file exists under the location mentioned in the
    first parameter to READ_IMAGE_FILE built-in.
    o You tried other JPG files that are located in the demo directory of the
    Developer home and you can see the image loaded in the image item.
    Solution Description
    There are many JPEG formats. The only JPEG format supported in Forms is the
    JPEG File Interchange Format (JFIF) which is the baseline sequential DCT JPEG.
    Progressive JPEG (as well as Lossless JPEG and Hierarchical JPEG),
    are not currently supported.
    Possibly your image file is stored using one of the non-supported formats.
    As a workaround, you can convert progressive JPEG format to and from baseline
    JPEG. There is a free set of programs provided by the Independent JPEG Group
    that allows this.
    The Independent JPEG Group home page is: http://www.ijg.org/

  • Issue with Image Loader in 14.0

    Hi All,
    In our application, we have a custom function module in ECC, which is passing the URL of an image uploaded on the content management server(KPRO). Custom FM calls 'SDOK_PHIO_GET_URL_FOR_GET' to get the URL of the image.
    When we execute the FM in ECC, we get the URL as:
    http://gbswidkprodb01.global.rexam.net:81/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?get&pVersion=0046&contRep=YA&docId=001F296E9EB61ED3B6F490000438C20C&compId=TJ12A.jpg&accessMode=r&authId=CN%3DBC3,OU%3DI0520020335,OU%3DSAPWebAS,O%3DSAPTrustCommunity,C%3DDE&expirat
    when I use this URL in the browser the image gets loaded in browser.
    When I capture the output of JCO call in write file URL returned from FM is:
    http://<server>:81/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?get&amp;pVersion=0046&amp;contRep=YA&amp;docId=001F296E9EB61ED3B6F490000438C20C&amp;compId=TJ12A.jpg&amp;accessMode=r&amp;authId=CN%3DBC3,OU%3DI0520020335,OU%3DSAPWebAS,O%3DSAPTrustCommunity,C%3DDE&amp;expiration=20140617181313&amp;secKey=MIIBUgYJKoZIhvcNAQcCoIIBQzCCAT8CAQExCzAJBgUrDgMCGgUAMAsGCSqGSIb3DQEHATGCAR4wggEaAgEBMG8wZDELMAkGA1UEBhMCREUxHDAaBgNVBAoTE1NBUCBUcnVzdCBDb21tdW5pdHkxEzARBgNVBAsTClNBUCBXZWIgQVMxFDASBgNVBAsTC0kwNTIwMDIwMzM1MQwwCgYDVQQDEwNCQzMCByASCCcTUiEwCQYFKw4DAhoFAKBdMBgGCSqGSIb3DQEJAzELBgkqhkiG9w0BBwEwHAYJKoZIhvcNAQkFMQ8XDTE0MDYxNzE2MTMxM1owIwYJKoZIhvcNAQkEMRYEFM%2FKd4MzWL0y1KfF58AHNg9PYqOlMAkGByqGSM44BAMELzAtAhUAtqASnXbD3E2ZM8EhG%2FLxgJhKCs0CFH0qFlBxzWlzS8kjeFw3kad63SHW
    when I use this URL in the browser I get 'HTTP 400' error.
    Using either of the two URL's in the image loader I get the error:
    [WARN] [ImageLoader_0]ImageLoader_0 Status: 400 - (bad request)
    We are currently on SAP MII 14.0 SP05(patch 3).
    Thanks in advance for your help.
    Regards,
    Darshan

    Sam,
    I tried logging in to ECC with the same user as the one that is making the Jco connection and it is giving the same URL which i was getting earlier when i was executing the FM with my user id. I am testing the FM through SE37.
    There is no logic in the custom BAPI to replace the <server> keyword. Based on the image name, it gives the URL of where the image is stored on the KPRO server.
    Could not find URL Decode function in the MII link editor, i believe it is the decode function which you are referring to. Even that is not working. If it is something other than this, do let me know.
    PS: This works fine in the 11.5 system from which we have upgraded to 14.0.

  • Labview 6.0.2 patch does not remove my "image.cpp" error

    I have an industrial PC with the following characteristics:
    * Sharp LQ10D367 10.4" TFT screen, running a VGA driver (16 colours only option)
    * ROBO 608, Industrial SBC motherboard with onboard video driver, from Chips and Technologies, 69000; 2MB onboard video memory
    The standard VGA driver is the most recent driver, and in fact the only one available for this hardware.
    Labview 5.1 runs without problem on this machine, but when I loaded Labview 6 (with the 6.0.2 patch) it came up with an "image.cpp error, line 4150" every time I tried adding a graph to the front panel. Changing the screen acceleration properties did not make any difference.
    Though I have gone back to version 5.1
    for the time being, my application would benefit substantially from the current version.
    Are there any fixes for this, or is Labview 6 simply not compatible with VGA screen drivers?
    Thanks,
    Jo

    I have LV6.0.2 running on an Arcom SBC with the Chips and Technology 69000
    HiQVideo 2MB display chip. This chip is not capable of rendering 3D graphics.
    I have noticed the CPU will go to 100% usage if I open a sub-VI panel with lots
    of the new 3D graphics on it, as the display chip passes rendering off to the
    main processor.
    Perhaps you could try replacing the LV6 3D graphics with the older versions
    that are available on the Controls pallet. At 16 colors the new graphics look
    terrible anyway.
    I am running the chip at 1024 X 768 screen resolution and 65K colors with
    no other problems.

    Hi All,
    I have created a very simple form to load image into a form.
    Using forms 10g dev suite on win XP.
    I load two images for two image items.
    for IMAGE1 I have written the below code in its when-image-pressed trigger and this Image loading WORKS FILE...
    i get the desired image loaded

         photo_filename := tiff_image_dir ;
         READ_IMAGE_FILE(photo_filename, 'GIF', 'emp.my_test_button');
         READ_IMAGE_FILE(photo_filename, 'GIF', 'emp.my_test_button');
         IF NOT FORM_SUCCESS THEN MESSAGE('This employee does not have a photo on file.');END IF;
         :SYSTEM.MESSAGE_LEVEL := '0';
         END;
    the problem is with Image two...it laods some incorrect image .....as i am trying to USE JAR file
    the trigger code is below

    Slava ,Magoo and S@r@h....
    I have done the following,still no respite..
    step 1) Create the jar file
    C:\myapp>jar cvf AppIcons.jar *.gif
    added manifest
    adding: 111.GIF(in = 28895) (out= 28675)(deflated 0%)
    adding: 222.GIF(in = 28895) (out= 28675)(deflated 0%)
    adding: name_gif.GIF(in = 28903) (out= 28681)(deflated 0%)
    step 2) move the AppIcons.jar in the ClassPATH specified by env file(envFile=formsdemo.env)
    in my case the classpath looks like below
    and I have moved the AppIcons.jar to C:\DevSuiteHome_1\forms\demos\my_app

    step 3) shutdown and restart the OC4J
    To Answer Slava's question:
    2. Check Jinitiator console and see if AppIcons.jar is loaded.
    You should see :
    Loading http://host:port/forms/java/AppIcons.jar from JAR cache
    YES its loading prefectly.
    To answer Magoo's questions:
    q)What is the incorrect image look like? Somehting like a broken link image?
    Yes,the image is a small page icon which is broken like a torn page(and has three small solid figures in it)
    q)Do you get there a message like Unable to load image 111.gif for Image Item ?
    No I do not get any error message.
    What next ?

  • Interface frozen with images loaded with Loader()

    Hi all,
    I am trying to create a web app that allows the user to load an image from a local folder and process it with some image processing. I was able to do that with FileReference and Loader.
    I am using an asynchronous shader to process the image and it seems that when the image is loaded locally the interface is locked out for a second or so before showing the result. However, if the image is embedded this does not happen and the image is updated instantly with the result.
    I don't really understand why an image loaded with a loader has this lag and an embadded image does not... Can anyone help?
    Thanks.

  • Images loading from url

    Hi All !
    I am trying to load images onto a canvas using url source.
    The images loaded are forming a map , so its important that
    every image will be
    exactly in the wright place.
    The problem is that sometimes an image is not loaded , and I
    get error 504 "Gateway RequestTimeout" ,
    what i want to do is shorten the time of the error so if an
    image isnt loaded after 5 seconds i will get the error
    and reload it. How do i change the timeout of the loading ?
    or maybe i should use another method to load the images to
    the canvas ?
    10x alot !

    hi,
    looks like PaintComponent() instead of paint did the job.
    thanks a million..
    for those interested in loading images, I find ImageIcon very limited and at the end I found a better solution :
    public class ImageComponent extends JComponent implements ImageObserver{
        private Image image;
        public void loadImage(URL imageURL){
                image = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getImage(imageURL);
                prepareImage(image,getWidth(),getHeight(), this);
        public boolean imageUpdate(Image img, int infoflags, int x, int y, int width, int height){
            System.out.print("."); // loading progress...
        public void paintComponent(Graphics g){
            if(image!=null){
                 g.drawImage(image,0,0,null);
    }it is far nicer as it displays dots while loading... up to you to attach progress bars or favorit loading guizmo...

  • InDesign crashing on save as file size passes 4GB; loading error 6, HELP!

    I am working with some large files in InDesign. Today, about 5 or 6 times, when my INDD file passed 4.25GB it would crash. It would say that it was a loading error 6 or something like that. Multiple reports have been sent. Once it crashes, it becomes unable to open again. I have been making lots of copies, but I am still crashing.. Is there a known file size capacity for INDD? Am I reaching it and passing it? Is that why it is crashing?

    Certainly, linking to placed images requires more work and certainly discipline, but it certainly seriously pays off in terms of potentially dramatically small .INDD files and flexibility in terms of editing the placed content.
    Tell your client that their approach is really unworkable for the magnitude of the project and that Adobe recommends linking instead of embedding of placed imagery.

  • I get an 'Invalid Image Type' error when using the Locate Features. (Evaluation version)

    I'm using the Evaluation Version of Vision Builder. I Simulate Acquisition using my own image (jpg), which loads fine. However, when I try to use any of the Inspection Steps features, other than Enhance Images, I get an "Invalid Image Type" error.

    Hello,
    Vision Builder functions usually work with a certain image type. For example, all the functions listed under Binary (in the menubar) will only work with binary images. Likewise, color functions will work for color images and grayscale will work for grayscale images.
    You can convert a color image into a grayscale by extracting a color plane and a grayscale image can be converted to binary using the threshold function.
    Hope this helps!

  • Question about image loading problem

    Dear Java Gurus,
    I am writing a simple Java Applet application. Basically what it does is every 3 seconds, it tries to get an image from a server and display it (also based on the browsers client size to do some resize of the image to fit the width of the browsers client area). • XML load error - when moving table data after upgrade

    Greetings:
    Background:
    Previously in our 2.2 instance, we would use the Data Load/Unload feature of APEX to move data in the form of XML from instance 1 to instance 2. This woks well because it moves images also (BLOB)
    What Changed:
    Recently we did the upgrade to APEX 3.0. The tool is working well, but we are having issues uploading XML data in the same manner we used to. The process wizard works up until time for execution.. the following error message is seen.
    XML load error.
    Return to application.
    Assumption:
    I do not believe this is an XML file issues because the file I am testing the process with is from the EMP table, and is from the UNLOAD option on the same DB and SCHEMA.. (testing is unloading the data, than re-loading the same data to the same place)
    Internally some permissions or something internal must be missing.
    Assistance or suggestions on where to look is greatly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Tim

    Tim,
    Sorry for the delay - that silly day job keeps getting in the way.
    Here is a small procedure you could use to take the XML data file format exported from Application Express and import into your table. This uses the Java-dependent DBMS_XMLSAVE package, which avoids the issue mentioned above.
    create or replace procedure load_xml(
        p_clob   in clob,
        p_schema in varchar2,
        p_table  in varchar2 )
    is
        l_insCtx dbms_xmlsave.ctxType;
        l_rows   number;
    begin
        l_insCtx := dbms_xmlsave.newContext(p_schema || '.' || p_table);
        dbms_xmlsave.setDateFormat(l_insCtx,'yyyy-MM-dd''T''HH:mm:ss.SSS');
        l_rows := dbms_xmlsave.insertXML( l_insCtx, p_clob);
        dbms_xmlsave.closeContext(l_insCtx);
    end load_xml;I then ran the following quick test on apex.oracle.com just for verification.
    declare
        l_xml varchar2(32000);
    begin
        l_xml := '<?xml version="1.0"?>
    <ROWSET>
    <ROW>
      <ID>11645117496276327</ID>
      <FLOW_ID>30072</FLOW_ID>
      <NAME>F11645117496276327/no_image_found.gif</NAME>
      <FILENAME>no_image_found.gif</FILENAME>
      <MIME_TYPE>image/gif</MIME_TYPE>
      <CREATED_BY>JOEL</CREATED_BY>
      <CREATED_ON>2007-03-14T05:06:38.000</CREATED_ON>
      <BLOB_CONTENT>474946383961C800...(data removed for this example)...41000003B</BLOB_CONTENT>
    </ROW>
    </ROWSET>';
        load_xml( l_xml, 'MY_DB_USER', 'MY_APEX_FILES' );
    end;It's now simply a matter of how you get your XML file(s) into a CLOB to call this procedure. The options include:
    1) Just pass in a VARCHAR2 as I did in the example above, which would limit you to roughly 32K.
    2) You could use DBMS_LOB.LOADCLOBFROMFILE to read it from the database server filesystem.
    3) You could upload the file via an APEX application (or some other means within APEX), you could convert the BLOB to a CLOB, and then call this procedure. If you need help with this method, let me know.
    Don't forget - as yet another alternative, you could always contact Oracle Support to see what could be done about that underlying database bug.
    I hope this helps.

  • Labview 8.2 application builder gives load error 3

    Hi,
    I have been developing a Labview application that I am compiling to an executable for others to run. It has been working fine until I recently made an update to the VI, but not the build settings, and now the executable generates a load error 3 for several of the sub vi's.
    I am using labview 8.2 professional. I've tried using the advice in support doc 33CDL8QX but I cannot change any of the sub vi settings - everything is greyed out as shown in this image:
    I've tried toggling the 'Remove Panel' option globally but this has no effect.
    I'd be grateful for any help, this is driving me mad!
    Cheers,
    Pete

    Hey there pete,
    Is it possible to post your project or a shinked version of it that generates the error? I would have recomended having a look at the knowledge base you mentioned but you cannot change any of the sub vi settings. Could you attach the screenshot to your reply as I cannot see it.
    Did you have a backup of your application? Do you get the same error if you try and build an installer?
    Best Regards,

  • Image Loading Time

    I have a very Image extensive program, and it is beginning to malfunction due to long loading times and code happening before the images actually appear, which does all kinds of strange things. Is there any line of code i can put anywhere to tell all of the images to load before any code happens? Or is there any way to load them before they're being loaded? Aaaaaaaaah! I'm very confused and at a dead end with this image loading stuff... Thanks for any help!

    I use this code:
    image = toolkit.getImage("yeh.jpg");
    while(image.getWidth(this) == -1) {
         try {
              Thread.sleep(10);
         catch (Exception e) {System.out.println("error");}
    }If the image hasn't loaded, image.getWidth will return -1, causing to app to sleep for 10 runs.
    When the image has loaded, the app goes on to the next code...
    hope that helps, sleep well
