Rounding errors when plotting rectangles (simple code snippet included)

hi,
I'm having a problem with rounding errors, and am unsure what the best thing to do is..
If you run the snippet of code below, you'll see some rectangles with black lines between them. The range of values covered in the model behind the plot is contiguous, and its only after scaling the trouble begins..
does anyone have suggestions for what to do here? I need this resize behaviour.. I'm unable to change the interval class :)
thanks,
asjf

    did you define the file in step 7 without any error and allocate in step 8 without any error before?
    I mean in the same system where you execute the read step.
    Make sure you have the file not open when you execute the read step.

  • Rounding error when running prime

    hi, i was testing my laptop since i have been having windows failed to start problems randomly. it fails about once every 10 starts on average. its a dv6-6b19wm with i3-2330m, intel 3000 graphics, 16gb ddr3-1333 pc3-10600 centon 2x8 modules. 120 gb patriot pyro se with latest firmware. windows 7 home premium with all available updates, all drivers are updated as well. Bios NOT modded so ram NOT overclocked. my laptop runs at about 1.5 gb of ram used at idle so i ran prime95 blend with custom ram usage of 14.5 gb. which i wanted to add up to almost 100% used. i got an fatal rounding error on worker #4 almost instantly. ram usage was at 15.95gb with prime running. i have clean mem running at the bottom corner of desktop, i also have cpu meter running too. so thats how i knew of my ram usage. was my error caused because I took it to almost 100%? should i leave some unused? Could the ram be failing? it has a lifetime warranty. I have just re ran the test rtying to reproduce the error and now i get a different error code on worker #4 and it wont start now.  Ill put screenshot up so you can see it. any insight would be great. thanks.

    ok, when i run small fft all workers run normally. and now im only running 13.5gb for a total of 93% of ram usage @ 14.8 gb total and its running now without errors so far. ill keep it running and update any errors that come up. here is a screenshot of that. im thinking it was because i tried to use more than 16gb of ram. but im not an expert. any comments will be of great help.

  • Error when calling the sample code with client

    The start samples are really good and useful.
    However I get an error when connecting to the API App on Azure. The code generated when "adding the reference" has a file called Values.cs. I get an error on line 219:
    resultModel = StringCollection.DeserializeJson(responseDoc);
    The correct line should be
    resultModel = MyContactsListConsole.Models.
    StringCollection.DeserializeJson(responseDoc);
    I guess there is a naming issue. The StringCollection defined in Contactlists/Models cannot be inferred without a fully qualified path since StringCollection is already in
    System.Collections.Specialized
    When I update the code to point to MyContactsListConsole.Models then it works.

    Sorry you had to discover this bug, Michael. It is a known issue we outlined in the release notes, and have since repaired it in the upcoming release. This is only an issue when your API returns an array of strings, as is the case for the default ValuesController
    file. Sorry about that, but know that we've fixed it.

  • How to solve error when run Depreciation (T-Code:AFAB)

    Dear All Experts,
    Hi,
    I found error when run Depreciation for period 9 FYI. I had run Planed posting period Depreciation (TCode: AFAB).  with fiscal year: 2010, posting period: 9, reason for posting run: Planed posting run. Select on Test Run. Then i found error message as below.
    Documents manually posted within dep.doc.number range
         Message no. AA728
    Diagnosis
         In the number range interval for the document type for posting
         depreciation, a document  has been posted which was not created within
         the framework of depreciation posting. The last document posted by
         depreciation posting was assigned the number .
    Procedure
         Contact your Systems Specialist. When changing the number range interval
         for the document type in depreciation posting, you have to specify a new
         interval in which no documents exist. Using organizational measures, you
         can guarantee that there are no documents apart from those created by
         depreciation posting in this number range.
    Would you help me how to solve this error?
    Thank you in advance
    Best Regards
    Utarat.P

    Hi Utarat,
    first question is: have you really manually posted a Documents within dep.doc.number range
    If you post with RABUCH00, note 193984 could be relevant for you.
    Check if the intervall in Table TABA don't fits with the Intervall in BKPF.
    Example:
    TABA
    MANDT BUKRS  AFBLGJ AFBLPE AFBANZ BLNRF      BLNRT      XBUKZ
    100   XXXX   2010   004    01     4200000013 4200000016 X
    100   XXXX   2010   005    01     4200000017 4200000020 X
    100   XXXX   2010   006    01     4200000021 4200000024
    On the other Hand In Table BKPF (or Tr. FB03) you can see that 4200000037 already
    exits.
    BUKRS  BELNR      GJAHR BLART BUDAT      CPUDT      CPUTM    TCODE

    You can have:
    -- 1 case expression
    -- 1.2 searched case expressions
    -- 2 simple case statement
    -- 2.1 searched case statement
    In your case you need the first one(-- 1 case expression ), because you return an expression.
    Indeed a simple case statement let you choose a sequence of PL/SQL statements to execute. This follows another syntax.
    It's not always true this statements
    In PL/SQL you would use "END CASE". For this reason I can quietly show you that I can even use 'case expression' in PL/SQL, without end case:

    Yes, the problem is that the ejb-jar must contain at least one ejb component. It's a common misconception that Java Persistence API Entity classes are ejb components but they are NOT. The Java Persistence API was developed within the EJB 3.0 JSR and works very well with EJB but the entity classes themselves are not full-fledged ejb components.

  • ORA-00439 error when deploying a simple dimension

    Hello,
    I am using Oracle Warehouse Builder 11g SE to try to implement a simple data warehouse.
    I have created the dimensions and cube using ROLAP, defined simple mappings and added process flow and was now trying to deploy the objects.
    When i try to deploy a dimension using the Control Centre it fails with the error message:
    LOCATION_DIM Create Error ORA-00439: feature not enabled: Materialized view rewrite
    I have been looking at the ddl script created for the dimension and can see nothing which indicates that materialized view or query rewrite should be used.
    The sql script is shown here:
    WHENEVER SQLERROR EXIT FAILURE;
    CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW "RDW".LOCATION_DIM_v AS
    SELECT *
    FROM RDW.LOCATION_DIM
    WHERE DIMENSION_KEY >= 0

    LEVEL "STORE" IS "RDW"."LOCATION_DIM"."STORE_ID"

    "STORE" CHILD OF
    "CITY"
    ATTRIBUTE "CITY" DETERMINES ( "RDW"."LOCATION_DIM"."CITY_CITYID", "RDW"."LOCATION_DIM"."CITY_CITYNAME" )
    ATTRIBUTE "STORE" DETERMINES ( "RDW"."LOCATION_DIM"."STOREID", "RDW"."LOCATION_DIM"."STORE_CITYID", "RDW"."LOCATION_DIM"."STORENAME", "RDW"."LOCATION_DIM"."STORE_CITYNAME" )
    am I missing something here?

    it seems like DB init parameter "query_rewrite_enabled" is set to its default: FALSE. Check out this article on the same on how to avoid this error:

  • Error when changing a Company Code for a given Cost Center

    Hello Friends ,
                             I'm trying to modify a company code value for a given cost center in KS02 and I get the below error. The error message receommends to change the analysis period ( not sure what it is..) but when I click edit > Analysis period from tool bar I  still get the below message , is there way to get over come this issue ?
    Thanks in advance ,
    Field change Company Code is not possible (transaction data already exists)
    Message no. KS134
    Diagnosis
    To ensure the consistency of existing data, you can only change object Company Code if no transaction data exists in the change period; that is, neither plan data nor actual data has been posted.
    As transaction data already exists, it is not possible to change objects in this time period.
    Procedure
    If you still want to change the object, select a suitable change interval by choosing "Edit -> Analysis period...".

    Thank you Vishal . I have 3 cost centers with 2 having validity period ( from 01/01/1950 to 12/31/9999) and third one had 2 records 12/30/2004 to 12/26/2009 and 12/27/2009 to 12/31/9999 ) for the third one it did allow to change the validty period and I could change the comapny code for my profit center . But for first 2 somehow it doesnt allow to change the validity periods. And when I run some reports against these 2 cost centers to see if there is any activity I dont see any data .
    Could you please give your ideas ?
    Thanks alot .

    Regards,
    Wilfried

    When I first ran into this problem I scoured this forum and found the usual suspects (add the proper path to the pcscfg file by doing a "find /usr -name stddef.h -print"). Assuming that you did this and changed the reference from Suse to your distribution you can move to the next point.
    I did this and still ran into problems. It turns out that with my distribution and version (Mandrake 8.1), I needed to reference the egcs version of these includes which were not installed by default. I needed into install the egcs packages. After this I had two references to stddef.h in my usr/include path. One was quite obviously the egcs version. I needed to use that one. It cleared up the problem.
    [jflynn@CN83845-A /]$ find /usr/lib -name stddef.h -print
    /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i586-mandrake-linux-gnu/2.96/include/stddef.h
    /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i586-mandrake-linux-gnu/egcs-2.91.66/include/stddef.h
    so I modified the pcscfg file as:
    sys_include=(/usr/include,/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i586-mandrake-linux-gnu/egcs-2.91.66/include)
