Row with visibility expression - need to access values in other rows if present

I have a row that I added and set its visibility with an expression since I want to handle its display differently than the others in its group. So, to calculate the value I need to refer to other rows.
The report has its first column with names of the "metrics" we are reporting on.
Shoe Volume
Shoe Revenue
Shoe Revenue / Order
Its that last one that Id like to use an expression based on the other two, but that seems rather messy in SSRS.
The data comes from a stored procedure, and Im thinking thats a better place to handle this, rather than SSRS.
Is there any decent solution to this in the report with an expression?

It is a little confusing... You say that you wish to hide a row in your report based on other values in the table. That is simple to do. Just use IIf statement that will return true when you want to hide the row. Something like =IIf(Fields!Other.Value =
17.7, True, False).
You say that your first column has the names of Metrics and you give three names. Are all three in a single column or is it three columns?
You also state that it is the 3rd of these that you wish to use an expression with. Does that mean that you want to hide that column and not the row? or you want to hide that column as well? Or that you want to hide this one value in the row and not the
entire row?
In any case, IIf statement is most often used for Hide expressions because an item (row, column, cell, table, etc.) is either hidden or visible... 2 states... and IIf returns a Boolean. You refer to other fields in the same scope using a Fields!Field_Name.Value
syntax so simply check if the value from the other cell meets your criteria to hide.

you can use cascading LOV for that, i which the other LOV field will be changing depending upon the selection of other value(which is in LOV).

Hi,
I need to do a cross-validation on a field against value filled on the same form. The model is only updated after validation has completed successfully according to the Faces lifecycle, thus reading the managed bean would prove fruitless.
Does anyone know how to access a value in another field on the same form so that I can cross-validate against?

Help with regular expression needed

Hi,
Perhaps someone here can help me with my regular expression I'm trying to build in my Java code.
The regular expression that I'm looking to build consists of any non-whitespace character up until it finds one or two <>= symbols and then any character thereafter. So both these Strings would match the expression:
City 1==London
Age>=18
The regular expression that I'm using is as follows:
(\\S+)([><=]){1,2}(.+)However, group 1 always retrieves the first <>= symbol as in "City 1=". How can I make the <>= part greedy so that it retrieves both operator symbols?

Dead Power Computing machine with files I need to access

I have an ancient Power Computing machine that died this week after a full and fruitful life. Since I have my Mac Book Pro most of my files are on my new machine, but some old stuff I would like to recover. I am pretty sure the HD is OK, so what is the best way of getting info from the SCSI drive on the old machine to a new one?
I have several Performas, one of which has an internal SCSI CD drive. Could I attach my old SCSI hard drive, after modifying its address, to the SCSI CD internal cable? Then via ethernet to a G4 running OS10.3. What else can I do?

Although running the Mac OS, the Mac clones (Power Computing's "Power Tower" and Motorola's "StarMax" series) adopted the cost-saving hardware designs of the PC platform, specifically the use of both IDE hard drives and optical drives. Your hard drive is an IDE type with a 40-pin connection. Check your local computer or electronics stores for an IDE-to-USB adapter, that will plug into the back of the drive and connect to your new Mac via a USB cable. A separate power supply is also included. This is the easiest way to temporarily transfer data from older drives, and it eliminates the added expense of an external housing that would accomplish the same thing. The latter choice would be a consideration, if the hard drive were of significant capacity to justify its continued use for backup duty.

Users with same configurations - one has access not the other

Hi all,
I have a real mysterious problem.
On the same computer, installed with "Cisco VPN Client v5.0.07.0410", one user can connect to the VPN and not the other. Both users uses the same Dynamic Access Policies on our ASA firewall. We are certain that the users entered the correct name and password. But one can enter in our network and the other gets an "Authentication failed" message directly in the "User Authentication" window.
Has someone an idea to help us solve this problem ?
I provide you here a log file of the problem (IKE.log level 3), if you think you need an other, please ask.
In this log, I have the feeling that the cause (and maybe the solution) is around event 293, but......not sure.

Does Quark Express need to be installed before other programs?

I have heard that Quark Express should be installed before other CS Programs should be installed to avoid system conflicts. Is this true or just a rumor. I am setting up a friends G5 and am wondering if I need to do this?

It doesn't have to be installed first but depending how you install it there may be permissions problems.

Need to Access VoiceOver Menu + Other KB Shortcut

I'll try to be brief:
I need to restore my keyboard shortcuts to Default; Shift + T no longer types a capital "T", just nothing. In the VoiceOver menu I set Shift + t to read text. Now I cannot bring back the VoiceOver "floating" menu. Apple's documentation says to press VO-F7, this does nothing at all. I do not remember how I invoked the VoiceOver menu before.
Restoring Defaults in the Keyboard Shortcuts control panel does nothing.
the VoiceOver Utility does not have a section to assign keyboard shortcuts for reading selected text.

Hello Sid,
The function is called "Speak selected text" and it is controlled from the Speech pane of System Preferences. It is not a VoiceOver function, but has in fact been available since System 6 IIRC.
To change the trigger key, go to System Preferences, Speech pane, Text to Speech tab and click the Set Key button to the right of the function name. You can choose anything that is not already allocated to another system function. I have used Command-F8 for this, and it works fine. If you try to set a function key without a modifier, such as F7 alone, you will be asked if you're sure!
For the next problem, I suspect you've (inadvertently) set the Ctrll-Option-F7 combination to trigger some other function. Have a careful look through Keyboard Shortcuts in Keyboard & Mouse, and in any other places where you can set hot keys.
As for launching the VoiceOver Menu from the VoiceOver Utility, it's not provided as a function from there because it's no more useful there than anywhere else. It needs to be available anywhere VoiceOver is active, which is why it's triggered only using a VoiceOver command.

I desperately need to access my User Library folder in Time Machine (Lion so = not visible).

Hi. I installed Lion a few months ago and got a new external drive to back up Time Machine.
Nobody told me the User Library would be made hidden in the new OS. I have been backing up regularly in the belief that all my work, settings and so on was safe.
Yesterday my iMac (27" 2.8 Ghz Core it with 4 gib memory) suddenly went mad. Message saying finder had quit whilst trying to restore windows. Desktop was flashing, no icons clickable, no external disks readable. Could access some progs and terminal, but nothing else. Could not get into the history folder to trash various plists and so on as the folder is hidden and the alt Go wouldn't work. The Finder just wouldn't do anything.
I have sorted it out BUT I have lost my address book entries, my browser booksmarks, my desktop shortcuts and my iCal entries. I need to access my User Library on my Time Machine. Is there a way?
I cannot believe I have been religiously backing up my stuff but Apple has made it so I can't access my backup of one of the most important folders on my Time Machine???
Is there anyway of getting into this from Terminal or something? I will never be able to get back all the bookmarks and stuff I've been researching for years. I have it backed up on two different hard drives, both of which have 'invisible' library folders. I have make the folder visible now, for future backups, but it's after the horse has bolted. I am furious, and just feel like bursting into tears because of all the time it's going to take me to get all my work back. I can't tell you how stupid this was, Apple.
If someone could help I'd be really grateful. I've got older backups but they are so old they won't get back my recent stuff.

In my ALV list for the same column I need Button or Value for the different rows (CELL) depending upon my condition.
as well as I have to make read only of 3 rd column CELL based on my first column dropdown value CELL for this Row Only.
Depends upon the value in column 1 / row 2   I have to read only the CELL of   column 5 / row 2   ie for the same row.
Depends upon the value in Column 1/ row 3    I have to   EDITABLE or   Button   the CELL of column 5 / row 3 ie for the same row
How to do the logic for this.
I tried and got it for the entire column only.
But my requirement is for the sepecific cell in the column.
Kindly help to proceed further.

Here is how you can make a particular cell in the row read-only based on certain conditions.
In my example I am displaying the flight details in an ALV. Here I am checking the airline id and if it is "AA' I am making the cell in the column airline id as readonly. In my example I am putting a check and readonly on the same column. However you can do this for different columns as well.
In order to achieve this you need to add a new context attribute 'READONLY' of type abap_bool to the context node which is bound to data node of ALV.
The method where I populate the node has the following code to populate the data.
data: lr_input_node type ref to if_wd_context_node,
        lr_flight_node type ref to if_wd_context_node,
        lv_cityfrom   type s_from_cit,
        lv_cityto     type s_to_city,
        ls_from       type bapisfldst,
        ls_to         type bapisfldst,

I bought the app SERVER on recommendation from a One to One trainer but I am now told I need a Static IP and not a dynamic one. For me to change to a Static IP means going to a Business Account with BT and it is VERY expensive for my needs. How can I access my laptop from Berlin please??? I live in London and have BT Infinity there. The app Server does not indicate I need a Static IP when buying it. Do I need to buy something else? dare I say that I could access my previous ..."windows" laptops without any problem?..... can anybody help me? I am an opera critic,NOT an expert... sorry...... Both Laptops run Yosemite and are about three years old.
