Rule Modeler - Transport

I wanted to check whether it is possible to transport Rule Modeler Configuration. If yes, how do we need to do it. Is there any help available for the same.
Thanks
Deepak

Hi deepak
PCUI application settings will need to be created again as they are not transported .However the configuration(SPRO) settings can be transferred.
So once all config settings are gone you will need to recreate the rule in the PCUI application
Hope this helps !!

  • How to use AND and OR Combinations for a Rule in Rule Modeler of ERMS

    Hi Experts,
When we are defining rules in the Rule Policy, we need to create a condition which uses a combinations of AND and OR.
But the standard Rule Modeler of ERMS is allowing us to create conditions either using all AND or with all OR options.
Is there anyway that we can define rules in the Rule Modeler using both AND and OR combinations at the same time.

A variant is a very specific LabVIEW datatype (really a C++ type object internally) and trying to pass that to a function, which excepts a flat memory pointer there, for sure will crash very quickly.
As to endianess, yes Unflatten will be able to adjust for endianess, which in this case however is most likely exectly NOT what you want. So make sure that the you select native type for the endianess input on Unflatten from String. LabVIEW internally works with whatever is the native endianess, as will most likely your C++ DLL. The platform independent big endian format does only come into play when you receive data streams over some streaming interface like a network connection. Here it is desirable to use an endian format that is independent from the actual platform that generates and consumes the data stream. LabVIEWs default endianes is big endian here.
But as long as you pass data directly to native components like DLLs there is no difference in endianess between what LabVIEW uses and what those components use.

  • Rule Modeler, Order Routing -  Partner function to update ?

    Hi,
I have configured order routing in rule modeler based on categories to determine the org unit to which the order should get routed too.
On execution, the partner function 'SLFN0003 - Support Team' gets changed to the BP for the org unit.
My question is - I cannot find any link between Order routing and Partner function SLFN0003 - How does the system know that it needs to update this partner fucntion only ?
If I create my own Z Parnter function, how can I get the order routing to change this partner function type ?
    Any help will be appriciated.
    Thanks,
    Raj

Solution: Problem solved. Error was the name of the attribute. It has to be POST_CODE1_IB
    and not ZPOST_CODE1_IB.

  • New Context for 'Problems' in Rule modeler not working

    Hi,
I am using the Rule modeler to determine the Service team based on selected Categorization schema for Incidents - it's working fine. Now I want to implement the same for Problems
I created a new Z Context (Master Request) to create a rule policy for Problems -> assigned rule policy to a ZServ.Mgr.Profile Unfortunately the rule policy is not working for problems. The new ZContext was copied from existing SERVICEREQUEST context which also copied all the services within.
Am I missing something ? Please help.
    BR.
P.S incidents have an action definition with method DISPATCH that determines service team - same has been assigned to Problems.

Had to use 2 Dispatch methods to determine the service team.

  • Conditions in rule modeler based on user status

    Hi there,
We work with incidents and problems in CRM 7.0 and I want to create a rule in the rule modeler based on the user status on my problem ZITP. But when creating the conditions I only get the standard user status from status profile IT00001, -2 and -3. I have created my own Z-status profiles, but I can't select them here.
    Any suggestions ?
    Best regards
    Annette

    Indeed,
The coding in CL_CRM_SRQM_RULE_FIS_US_STATUS seems a little hardcoded to the standard status schema.
    SELECT stsma estat txt30 FROM tj30t INTO TABLE lt_status WHERE spras = sy-langu AND stsma LIKE *'IT%*'. "#EC CI_GENBUFF
LIKE 'IT%' makes me think that all user status schemas starting with IT are selected, and not your Z-schema.
My best guess would be to either create an OSS message to SAP, or create your own class (like the one mentioned, with just slightly different coding), and in customizing (check the note where it mentions settings to ORDER_STATUS_E), assign your own class and reset the valuet to "dropdown box".
    This should fix your problem.

  • ERMS Rule Modeler: Forward E-mail - CRM-5.0

    Hi friends,
We have a concern regarding the config of Rule Modeler in IC 5.0.  The Inbound email (SENDER S1) does not meet the conditions of the Rule Modeler is subject to FORWARD to MS-Outlook email address.  The email does go to MS-Outlook, BUT the SENDER is now new from ERMS S2 instead of original SENDER (S1).  This is maybe normal. However, we are expecting the original SENDER (S1) is part of email body which is NOT the case.
Does someone experience this situation? Any suggestion is welcome.
    Thank you and best regards,
    Andy

Really nobody knows this or experiencing similar situation?
    Any input on this.

  • Link between Rules and Organisation assigned in Rule Modeler

    Hi,
    Go to Transaction CRMC_BSP_ANALYZE,

In ACTIONS tab you can see Organisation Object and Outgoing E-Mail Address assigned to a selected Rule.
Can you please let me know what is table names and link to get the Organisation Object and Outgoing E-Mail Address.
    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Best Regards,
    Azaz Ali.

    Hi Azaz
To find the Organizational Object go to Transaction PPOMA_CRM the details you need are under field "ID"
The Outgoing Email address can be found under transaction CRMC_IC_FROMGRP.

  • Rule Modeler condition of marketing attribute

    Hi experts,
I need to create a Rule Modeler to trigger an Alert.
Does it possible to add the condition to check on BP's marketing attribute?
    For ex:
If confirmed BP has marketing attribute to accept newsletter, I would like to trigger an alert to remind the agent.
Currently I did not see the rule modeler has such condition, is it not feasible?
    cheers,
    ginnie

    Hello Ginnie,
You are correct that there is no out of the box attribute (condition) for BP Marketing Attributes. However, this is something that several customers have done on a project basis. You need to create an ABAP class that retrieves the values of the desired marketing attributes for the confirmed account or contact person. Then you need to map the ABAP class to a new Rule Modeler service. And of course you need to create the attribute itself as well in the Rule Modeler configuration.
    Best regards,

  • Routing Service tickets using Rule Modeler

    Hi experts,
We plan to use Rule Modeler for routing Service tickets created in Interaction center.
But, I am not aware of how it can be done. Could you let me know how this can be done?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Raj

    Hi Raj
There is an "Escalate" button on the Service ticket. If you are planning to use that then heres how to configure routing using rules policy:
    Business Role: IC_Manager
    1. Open search in the rule modeler, select the context ID ORDER and start the search.
    2. Select the policy DEFAULT and configure it to meet your business requirements by creating rules and assigning relevant conditions and actions.
    To create your own policy.
IMG > Customer Relationship Management --> E-Mail Response Management System --> Service Manager --> Define Service Manager Profiles.
To forward to an organization, use the object type "O".
    I hope this helps
    Regards

  • Association Rule Model Fails to Build

    Hi all
I am running the association rules model (java api) and sometimes when I use attributes from lower hierarchies the model fails to complete and runs for
ever. In addition when I stop the process from netbeans the hard disk indicator remains permenantly on and my computer is really slow and I am unable to access anything. My attributes are quite long strings (include also gaps). Do you think that affects the model?
    Thank u
    K

Based on the number of rows and transactions, you are averaging 23.5 items per transaction. With only 80+ items and a few value combinations for each, my guess is that the baskets are quite dense. Many of the transactions will contain a decent-sized portion of the item name-value combinations.
Association rules has a parameter to limit the length of the rules that are generated. Have you set this to try limiting to shorter rules? Have you tried a maximum of length 2 to see if it completes? My guess is that the density of the data leads to exponentially larger combinations of rules as the length of the rule increases, and this requires more memory.
Please try to constrain the rule length to experiment. Once you have short rules (single antecedent item), take a look and see how many rules and itemsets are generated at your provided support and confidence levels (support will constrain itemsets, and support plus confidence will constrain rules). Try to increase the maximum rule length by one more, and see how fast the count of rules and itemsets expand.
This should help understand more about your data and the correct choice of algorithm parameters.

  • Where to create and maintain rule modeler

    Hi Experts,
Where can I create and maintain Rule Modeler to set up ERMS, and kindly provide what are the steps required to maintain rule modeler. thanks
    Regards,
    Lakshmana.P

    Hello,
It depends a little on the CRM release you are using. In older versions of CRM up to CRM 5.0, the Rule Modeler is accessed from the Netweaver (Enterprise) Portal via the IC Manager role (though it can also be launched directly using the BSP application from SAP GUI). In CRM 2006s/CRM 2007 and CRM 7.0 the Rule Modeler is available in the CRM WebClient from the IC Manager business role. It's located under the menu heading, "Process Modeling".

  • Rule Modeler / Action Profile

    Hi all,
What is the difference between Action Profile & Rule Modeler features ?
    Thanks,
    Eli

    Hello, Eli.
I'll try to explain. But on my mind the shortest answer would be: 'They are totally different'. Means they are used for totally different purposes.
Action Profile is used to do something (actually whatever you want, but mainly for print out, sending mails, changing statuses, creating subsequent documents) regarding particular business transaction. It can be triggered automatically (for instance, on document save or by the report) or manually. Based on some conditions (mainly information from the document) or without them.
Rule Modeler is used to create some rules. They are actually triggered by events which a rule engine listens (subscribes) to. After an event is triggered the rule engine check conditions defined in the rule (conditions can be based on any information in the system). And if conditions' check is passed then the rule engine calls defined method (there are some standard but you can extend the line).

  • ERMS Rule Modeler: Delete draft rules

    Hello,
I have an urgent query on ERMS rule modeler.
Once a draft version is created, how can we delete it? I noticed that we can only delete the rules within the Draft rules node but not the node itself.
This way if you wish to edit the released rules again, it is not possible because it asks to release draft rules first (which you don't want).
Is there a way to delete the draft version or cancel the changes once draft version is created so that we can edit the released rule?
Any report or via rule modeler?
    Best Regards,
    Mohit

    Hi Mohit,
hope I get your question right... but you have a node with released rules and one with draft...Just go to edit modus and delete the whole node...
Go to edit modus and select the node with Draft rules
Click on the Bucket and save and there are gone...
    Hope it helps.
    Regards,
    Martin
