"RUNSTATS and REORGCHK for single table" in DB13

Hello,
Our system is ECC 6.0, SAP_BASIS is SAPKB70011.
"RUNSTATS and REORGCHK for single table" in DB13, I found the parameter, "Parallel Jobs".
Why there is this parameter? Can we execute parallel runstats for single table in SAP environment?
Thank you very much and best regards,
Takae.

Hi Takae,
Although this DB13 job is named '.. for single table' it can process more than 1 table if you use wildcards. And only in this case parallelism makes sense, because the job cannot parallelize the runstats for one table but only parallelizes the runstats execution for different tables. Technically this is done be creating further background jobs in the SAP system.
Best regards
Ralf

    i need to use matix for this and do following
    "ADD"
    "Update".
    1.I need to create the form using Screen painter.
    2. Bind the table and fields  to the matrix in screen painter.
    and do the above process.
    If any body sample code please post it in the form.

  • Is xmlgen.insertxml used only for single table

    Is xmlgen.insertxml used only for single table or can be used to insert the xmldata into xle tables
    Thanks,
    Sudheer

    Hi Sudeesh,
    I am fetching data for PO details, GR details along with condition types of PO.
    All data is collected in ALV OUTPUT itab, after this I am trying to assign the values of VAT from another itab in ALV OUTPUT LOOP using READ TABLE with reference to PO-PO_ITEM-CONDITION_TYPE.
    Now, when the alv loop is getting executed and in that I am fetching data for VAT using READ statement, the program is assigning VAT to all records of output alv with comparison of PO-PO_ITEM-CONDITION_TYPE.
    see:
    LOOP AT it_alv ASSIGNING <fs-alv>.
         READ TABLE it_vat ASSIGNING <fs-vat>
              WITH KEY ebeln = <fs-alv>-ebeln
                               posnr = <fs-alv>-posnr
                                kschl = 'JVCS'.
         IF sy-subrc = 0.
              <fs-alv>-vat = <fs-vat>-kbetr / 10.
      <fs-alv>-vat_val = <<fs-alv>-vat * it_alv-menge.
         END IF.
    END LOOP.

  • Creation of sequence and trigger for each table!!!!!!!1

    Hi
    I am new to trigger and Sequence field. In one of my database we have many tables with fields for specifing ID numbers. Iam planning to insert the ID field with help of a Sequence and trigger...that trigger fires by adding the sequence value from the dual table. Now the point is here we r having around *60* table with ID field. And i am planning use the above process for each table by creating sequences and trigger for each table.
    Will this affects the performance of database.
    Is there any other option other than the above process, I mean other than creating sequences and trigger for each table.
    PLzz help to resolve this issuee......

    Tiger, I didn't mind about your comment, but the point is try to use
    select NVL(max(a) + 1,1) into i from p1_temp;This line in your trigger code and see what is happening. The problem is with your trigger. You are using group by function and you will not get no_data_found !
    For more help, this is some modification of your code.
    SQL> create table p1_temp (a number(10) primary key, b number(10));
    Table created.
    SQL> create or replace trigger trg_p1_temp
      2  before insert on p1_temp for each row
      3  declare
      4  i number(10);
      5  begin
      6  begin
      7  select NVL(max(a) + 1,1) into i from p1_temp;
      8  exception
      9  when no_data_found then
    10  i := 1;
    11  end;
    12  :new.a := i;
    13  end;
    14  /
    Trigger created.
    SQL> insert into p1_temp(b) values (1);
    1 row created.
    SQL> insert into p1_temp(b) values (2);
    1 row created.
    SQL> commit;
    Commit complete.
    SQL> select * from p1_temp;

  • Pros and Cons for single sales organization and multiple sales organization

    Hi!
    Does anybody have a good data of Pros and Cons for Single Sales Organization vs. Multiple Sales Organization.
    Thank you!

    Hi,
    Actuall it all depends on the business process.
    I will explain the answer to you through a practical example
    like Ford, it has sales and services all across globe.
    It is not advisable to manage all of its activities under only one sales organization, say Ford Inc.
    So what it does is de-centralises the whole process according to the country, region so that the whole process is divided and hence can be managed more effeciently.
    Hope this helps you in understanding the basics.
    One sales org always provides you with very less data to update and maintain, while many sales org makes the scenario more complex.
    One sales org always gives you the flexibility to bring any changes to the current scenario, while in multiple sales org to bring a change its a tiresome job.
    These are some of the advantages and disadvantages of one to many sales org.
    regards,
    Siddharth.

  • Creation of New DS and IS for single IO?

    Hi guys,
    I got a requirement wherein I should create a new IS and DS for a single IO, and the source for this is a flat file.
    And I should create this for an already existing Info cube which has got some IO's and the source for that is from some other system.
    Am on 3.5 version. So can anyone suggest me how to go about doing this task. In order to club this new data from the flat file to the info cube?.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Dubbu

    Hi,
    Question  1 :
    The Data for this single IO should be loaded from a CSV-file.
    Answer :  You cannot just load only one IO without attributes, so I suggest u maintain a counter for records as an attribute of this Single IO and then load it .
    Question 2 :
    Loading the same into Infocube .
    Answer :  Its not possible just with your flat file upload data ,
    there are two ways of updating this , either you can update it with a routine basing on your requirement,
    else you have to prepare a file again with the combination of the other characteristics and then upload the data into your infocube or if you are getting from source map it  .
    let me tell you that just loading single IO with a file will never help you in any ways to upload again in to Infocube .
    Thanks,
    VSK

  • How to create 2 char infoobjects for single table

    Hi Friends,
                    Please help me  how to create two chacteristics infoobjects for a single table.... Thanx in advance

    Hi,
    If i understand your question right, you want one table (SID) to be shared between two info objects. It is possible if one info object uses the other info object as its reference.
    Create a reference info object.

  • Material, service and warranty for single product

    Hai all,
    I have to do a scenario like this..
    I have to sold a DG set to a customer and have to maintain service and warranty for the same..
    Could any one help me how to do this.
    Can we use COMMPR01 for this..
    Thanks in advance,
    S.Jenibalet

    You cannot ship to an Apple store in another country - they will not
    accept the shipment.
    You must either take the iPhone personally to the country where the
    warranty is valid or send it to a friend/relative in that country. After
    repair/replacement, the friend will have to send the iPhone back to you.
    All shipping and insurance costs are your responsibility.
    Buy the iPhone where you intend to use it to avoid warranty problems.
    Some features (especially 4G/LTE) might not work outside the country
    the iPhone was meant for. KSA, UAE and some other countries block
    FaceTime from the iPhone and FaceTime cannot be installed on those
    iPhones even if used outside the restricted areas.

  • Buffer and relate using single table

    I have a table with a geometry column representing parcel information with the shape of the parcel. I need to write a query that will select 1 or many parcel(s) from this table based on the parcel ID, but also select all parcels within 300 feet of the selected ones.
    So right now I have something like this example to select the parcels based on their ID:
    SELECT PARCEL_DATA.ADDRESS,
    PARCEL_DATA.CITY,
    PARCEL_DATA.STATE,
    PARCEL_DATA.ZIP,
    PARCEL_DATA.APN
    FROM PARCEL_DATA
    WHERE PARCEL_DATA.APN IN ('6465', '4654');
    I'm not sure where to go from here to also select parcels within 300 feet of each of these 2 that are already selected. I have been trying various queries with using SDO_BUFFER and SDO_RELATE, but nothing has worked. Any help would be much appreciated.
    The below query works, but only for one APN. If I add multiple APNs to APN IN (...), I get the error "ORA-01427: single-row subquery returns more than one row". I need this to work for multiple, not just one. Any ideas?
    SELECT PARCEL_DATA.ADDRESS,
    PARCEL_DATA.CITY,
    PARCEL_DATA.STATE,
    PARCEL_DATA.ZIP,
    PARCEL_DATA.APN
    FROM PARCEL_DATA
    WHERE SDO_RELATE (PARCEL_DATA.SHAPE,
    (SELECT SDO_GEOM.SDO_BUFFER (SHAPE, 300, 1)
    FROM PARCEL_DATA
    WHERE APN IN ('6465')),
    'mask=anyinteract') = 'TRUE';
    Edited by: Guddie on Apr 15, 2010 9:00 AM

    I actually have 2 tables, one table has the Parcel addresses and the other has the Parcel geometry. They are joined using the APN column. So from my previous example, I want to select the address of the Parcel from one table, but I need to use SDO_WITHIN_DISTANCE so I need the geometry from another table. I need to join these two tables using the APN, but I'm not sure how to write that query. How do I work the join into the SDO_WITHIN_DISTANCE solution you provided earlier? What I need to accomplish is illustrated below in the FROM, but it is clearly not correct. Any help would be much appreciated.
    SELECT PARCEL_DATA.ADDRESS,
    PARCEL_DATA.CITY,
    PARCEL_DATA.STATE,
    PARCEL_DATA.ZIP,
    PARCEL_DATA.APN
    FROM (PARCEL_DATA LEFT OUTER JOIN PARCEL_GEOM ON PARCEL_DATA.APN = PARCEL_GEOM.APN) A,
    (PARCEL_DATA LEFT OUTER JOIN PARCEL_GEOM ON PARCEL_DATA.APN = PARCEL_GEOM.APN) B
    WHERE SDO_WITHIN_DISTANCE(A.SHAPE, B.SHAPE, 'distance=300') = 'TRUE' AND
    B.APN IN ('6465', '4654');

  • Assigning primary key and index for a table

    I have a database consisting of only one table with 10 million rows which mostly looks like this:
    RECORDDATE                     ID     CLASS     VALUE
    24-JAN-12 10.52.47.000000 AM     96     3     0
    24-JAN-12 10.52.48.000000 AM     96     10     156

    24-JAN-12 10.52.48.000000 AM     96     3     0
    24-JAN-12 10.52.48.000000 AM     96     3     0
    24-JAN-12 10.52.48.000000 AM     96     3     0
    24-JAN-12 10.52.48.000000 AM     96     10     156
    24-JAN-12 10.52.48.000000 AM     96     3     0
    24-JAN-12 10.52.48.000000 AM     96     3     0
    24-JAN-12 10.52.48.000000 AM     96     6     38
    24-JAN-12 10.53.05.000000 AM     253     16     197
    24-JAN-12 10.53.06.000000 AM     98     10     150
    24-JAN-12 10.53.06.000000 AM     98     0     0
    24-JAN-12 10.53.06.000000 AM     98     4     0
    24-JAN-12 10.53.06.000000 AM     98     11     33As you can see there are several entries that look exactly the same. Currently, I don't have primary key or index for any column and have a lot of performance issues. For example this query takes more than 10 seconds to run:
    select distinct      ID
    from      scdatabase4
    where ID < 253
    order by 1Since database is not my primary job and have no background of it, I'm really confused about what to do to fix my issues. Could someone please help me in assigning primary key and index if you agree that this is the problem?!

    Execute the query below to help decide what column to index:
    SELECT COLUMN_NAME, NUM_DISTINCT, NUM_NULLS, NUM_BUCKETS, DENSITY
    FROM DBA_TAB_COL_STATISTICS
    WHERE TABLE_NAME = 'your_table_name'
    ORDER BY COLUMN_NAME;
    The important columns are:
    1) NUM_DISTINCTS: Indicates the number of distinct values. If this number is very low for a column, it indicates that this column is not a very good candidate for a B-Tree index.
    2) NUM_NULL: Indicates the number of null values for each column. A column with few null values is a good candidate for a index
    But be aware, this is not a rule, it's just a method to help decide which column will have the most benefit of index creation.

  • Require DML and DDL for basic tables

    Hello,
    I want to pursue my oracle certification within 2-3 months. Therefore, I am eager to create basic tables those would provide me holistic idea and basic practices before my real test. Could you provide me basic tables for example, employee table, department table, sales table etc.with DML and DDL details? I do create plethora of DB objects when I build systems for clients; however, additionally, I intend to practice concepts whatever I will acquire after going through oracle books before certification.
