Sale order in beverage company

Hi,
I am working on Beverage Company.
In this company the sale process is little bit complex for me. Here the sale concept is spot selling.
Here the sales person submitted the forecasted demand/order for his rout. Company load the truck on behalf of that demand/order (remember this order is not an actual order of customer).
Sales person goes to customer (shops) and sale the product as much he can and rest of product (area return) back to company.
Now the question is raised, how we manage the sale and area return.
There is more than 200 trucks move to their routes; if we create the sale order when we are loading the truck then it is impossible to create the sale return order when truck comes back with area return (which is actually not sale) on daily basis.
kindly suggest me the sloution how can I manage that sale and return.
Thanks

Hi,
Hope in u2018spot sellingu2019 the vehicle will go around a route and deliver the goods on the spot according to their requirement. Since there are many customers involved, the consignment process will not be suitable. Even if we create a dummy customer for every vehicle, how can we transfer the goods from dummy customer to actual customers? (Consignment fill up to consignment issue)
You can try this.
1.     Create a storage location for each vehicle (say V001). Say the storage location in the plant is FG01.
2.      Transfer the goods from FG01 to V001 as per the forecasted demand. Say they have loaded the vehicle with 1000 pieces.
3.     Let the vehicle to go for selling the goods.
4.     Say the vehicle sold 750 pieces and returns with 250 pieces.
5.     Create delivery document (VLo1nO) without sales order for the sold items from storage location V001(here different customers and different quantities)
6.     Bill the customers based on the delivery documents created.
7.     Move the 250 pieces to FG01 from V001.
You can follow this logic for all the vehicles.
Note: The client should have some arrangements with authorities to move the goods on this basis.

  • Move sales order stock to company stock in QI

Is there any movement type to move sales order stock to company's own stock in quality.
With 411 E quantity is transferred from unrestricted-use special stock E (sales order stock) to unrestricted-use company’s own stock.
But my company requires that sales order stock be moved into company stock in QI.
411 E moves stock into MARD-LABST but we need it to be moved into MARD-INSME.
Any input on this is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Pushpinder Randhawa.

    Hi,
I believe your stock is not customer returns as picked from your question.
by copying the movment type the behaviour of movement type doesnot change. do you think  by copying 411E and giving the name 911E you can post to QI stock ?
the defination of movement type 411E is self explainatory
411E  Transfer posting of sales order stock to company's own stock
The quantity is transferred from unrestricted-use special stock E ( sales order stock), to unrestricted-use storage location stock.
no it is not possible by copying the movement type.
carry out 2 step process. from unresctricted transfer to QI.

  • Sales orders in TDMS company/time based reduction  are outside the scope

    Guys,
I have had some issues with TDMS wheras it didn't handle company codes without plants very well. That was fixed by SAP. But I have another problem now. If I do a company code and time based reduction, It doesn't seem to affect my sales orders in VBAK/VBUK as I would have expected. I was hoping it would only copy sales orders across that have a plant which is assigned to a company code that was specified in the company code based reduction scenario. That doesn't seem to be the case.
VBAK is now about one third of the size of the original table (number of records). But I see no logic behind the reduction. I can clearly see plenty of sales documents that have a time stamp way back from what I specified in my copy procedure and I can see others that have plant entries that should have been excluded from the copy as they do belong to different company codes than the ones I specified.
I was under the impression that TDMS would sort out the correct sales orders for me but somehow that doesn't seem to be happening. I have to investigate further as to what exactly it did bring across but just by looking at what's in the target system I can see plenty of "wrong" entries in there either with a date outside the scope or with a plant outside the scope.
I can also see that at least the first 10'000 entries in VBAK in the target system have a valid from and to date of 00.00.0000 which could explain why the time based reduction didn't work?
Did you have similar experiences with your copies? Do I have to do a more detailed reduction such as specifying tables/fields and values?
    Thanks for any suggestions

The reduction itself is not based on the date when the order was created but the logic enhances it to invoices and offers, basically the complete update process.
If you see data that definitely shouldn't be there I'd open an OSS call and let the support check what's wrong.

  • Using IDoc to convert Purchase Order as Sale Order between two Company code

    Dear Experts,
We are in need of implementing IDoc.
We have 2 Company codes. One in US and another in India.
The US Company receives Customer Order and PR is generated automatically for the Third Party Sale Order.
The PO is also generated based on this PR against the Vendor code (Indian Company actually created as a Vendor code also)
Now, the PO from Us Company should be converted as Order in Indian Company. The PO sending Plant is the Customer in this case.
    Now,
    1. How we go about this using IDoc.
2.How do we capture the Sold-to-Party ( US Compnay in thsi case) and the Ship-to-Party ( Direct Customer of US Company)
Please share your experties on this.
    Regards,
    Ramki

    Hi Ramki,
Since the goods are selling between 2 company codes.. you should ideally use inter company process i.e. choose plant as Indian plant and etc..pls search the forum for intercompany process set up or refer to the setup required for Intercompany :
The above setup will help you in dealing with your question 2.
On question 1: Once you setup the intercompany you won't require IDocs setup.
    I hope this helps.

    Raghu.

  • Copying sales order from one company code to other

    Hi,
I am trying to copy one sales order data from one company code to another, all the details should be same other than the company code and some fields , for this I am using std BAPI Getdetail to get all the details of sales order and passing to BAPI, CREATE FROM DAT2 , so that I create new order.
When I check the new order, I see everything same but CANCEL DATE value in the ITEM Overview is not copied, I checked the original order , it has cancel date value. The order is an AFS order with AFS tabs.
I Checked the BAPI GET Detail FM, it doesn't retrieve that information, moreover it doesn't have that field ( J3_ACADA) in the ITEM structure. I can see cancel date value in VBAP. The ITEM structure in CREATE FROM DAT2 also doesn' have that field.
I can populate using USER_EXIT but I need to get the value from original order.
How to copy the cancel date value to new order. It should happen only for the orders which I run through this report.
    Any suggestions let me know.
    Thanks

    Hi Uma,
As my understand, the couple Tcode FS15 and FS16 is used to copy GL master data from in same client or different client.
The file attract from FS15 will be stored in SAP, not in your local computer.
And when you run FS16, the system will file this file and upload it.
Here is selection screen in FS15, you can determine the file name, and keep the batch input name as default.
After executed, the file is generated with message like below
Then, go to tcode FS16 with parameter:
You can untick "Check file only" for Production run.
When you execute it, the batch input RFBISA20 is generated.
After that, you go to tcode SM35 to check the batch input RFBISA20, excute this batch input here and check the log.

  • How to Copy documents (like Sales Order) from one Company/Database to another

    Hi everyone!
I'm developing an AddOn for SAP 9.1 version.
Part of this implementation is to import some data from a Sales Order Document from one Company to another (Document selected by "DocNum" by the user).
So, my doubt is: after select data saved in arraylist, how I fill the document with that values saved in my arraylist ?
I wish you could help me.
    Regards!
    Diogo Carvalho

    Hi Diogo,
You can achieve this requirement and you will be required to get user credentials for your 'copy from' company to make a connection.
After you make the connection with your 'copy from' company, you can provide a screen with a matrix which have the document numbers of the type of document you want.
Create two documents of the type you want from each company. You can fill the document which created from current company while you reading from the document which created from 'copy from' company using get by key method.
Most importantly, the master data of the two companies should be same. Otherwise, you will have errors in creating the document or document won't be identical.
Hope this will helpful to you.

  • Company Code Validation of Financial Document with Sales order during Sales

    Dears,
We are working on ECC 6.0 version and our requirement is to restrict saving the Sales order if the Company codes in Sales order and Financial document (L/C) when assigning Financial Document in Sales order are different.
With the configuration settings in Foreign Trade, it is possible to restrict this but the system only gives information message if the company codes are different but save the sales order.
Is it possible to restrict the sales order from saving if the Comapany codes are different through SAP standard configuration or do we need to go for any development only.
    Looking forward to your suggestions.
    Elliah.

    hi Elliah,
for this task, there are good Userexits. I don't know any customizing for this.
I would do it in the roule of the copying or in the Userexit while saving the invoice. But this is in your point of view ABAP developement.

  • Creating SD Sales Orders from a Purchase Order

Does anyone have any detail documentation for creating an SD Sales Order as an output message from a purchase order. We would like to implement a process where we generate a sales order to a specific sales organization automatically from a purchase order in a different company code.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,
You can configure this scenario using ALE/IDOC . I dont have any docs but i remember that i had setup this few years ago.
Create PO , attach output type , output type linked to process code , process code linked to sales order relevant IDOC Type and send to receiver as outbound IDOC ,
The recepient receives this as an inbound and used this data to create a sales order in his company code.
    Thanks,

  • Transfer sales orders from one compnay code to another

    Hi
Is it possible to transfer pending sales order from one company code to another? if yes please let me know complete procedure.
    thanks
    Sanjay

    Hi,
You cannot transfer the sales order like this.If your company is getting closed then you can keep a deadline date before which you can close all the open orders and after that you can start creating the orders in the new company code.
If your delivery date is beyond the deadline date then you can reject the sales orders and create them with new G/L accounts from the new company code.
For this, you have to assign your sales organisation to the new company code.
    Reward points if it helps.

  • Serial number related sales orders???

    Hi everyone,
i got this problem when i try to use serial number of an equipment to search all related sales orders.
in our company it is defined that serial number would be created in the first sales order, when the customer purchase the configurable products at the first time.--- we call that initial sales.
then after months or year, customer could come again and buy upgrades or addtional options on that products(we can select serial number to locate that machine in the configurator in sales order)--- we call that following up sales.
so, now the situation is, i can call TA IQ03 to see the equipment and through reference to find the initial sales order, HOWEVER... if i want to have an overview of all Equipments related following up sales, Is that possible ??? or at least the last following up sales which determine the configuration status in the service equipment.
i dont see any info about that in IE03 or IQ03, is that to be found in any tables, if i would rather write a small report to do that?
the only way i can figure out now is to check the configuration of sales orders, maybe through VBAP-CUOBJ then call function to get the serial number... is there any other way?
    thanks a lot !!!

    hi, Ncvajja:
First thanx for ur instant reply.
i would try ur way on monday, but as i assumed,
the method u mentioned may be correct in those companies where the serial number is automatically created by delivery. (as i remembered, the table SER01 is for delivery)
however in our company the serial number is saved in SER02, which are order related, that means the serial number is automatically created after the sales order is created.
so in this way, i only find the first order through SER01 or 02, no matter it is delivery or sales order, but what i want is the sales order after that. in the following sales process, the serial number is already there for selection...
anyway, those above is only based on my knowledge, iif i was wrong about this, hehe, please tell me, i am quite junior in this area...
    thanx

  • Automatic creation sales order from Purchase order

    Hi
In inter company sales process; first company creates purchase order in the name of second company.
I want  the sales order( in second company ) to be created in the background at the time of saving the purchase order ( first company).
Is there any standard way  to achieve this?

    Hi,
You don't create SO when you create a STO cross-company. You create a PO that the system store in table VETVG. After you can create deliveries with tcodes VL10B/VL10D against this PO. With cross-company STO you can do IV invoices (internal inv).
For futher information check these notes:
SAP Note 109254 - Customizing stock transport order Cross Company

  • Product cost by sales order

    Dear FICO Gurus,
I come to know that for the above method, production order in company A can be settled to Sales Order item in Company B (with assumption that Company A & Company B are intercompany and assigned to 1 Controlling area.
My question, under what scenarios that organisations adopt this method of settlement. To me, Company A still needs to report its profitability. Without Purchase Order from Company B to Company A, Company A would not have the revenue to sustain its operation.
Can anyone share with me, what is the logic for organisation to practice the above mentioned business process.
    Regards,
    -Alice-

    HI,
It could be a complex MTO scenario and hence the need to track costs on sales order along with revenue.
    Company B - Trade invoice (PR00/PI02)
    Company A - I/C invoice at a predetermined transfer price (PI02/EK02).
As far profitability, both 'Trade invoice' & 'I/C invoice' are posted to CO-PA for margin reporting.
    Hope this helps.

  • Sales order query

    Hi,
The scenario I have is to process a single sales order for both company stock & do external procurement for the same material if stock is not available.
    Ex-
      Clients order u2013 2000 materials
      Company  stock u2013 1000 materials
Same S.Ord to trigger a purchase requisition for the remaining stock of 1000.
Pls let me know how I can proceed.
    Many Thanks.

    Hi,
After running MD02 system will check ATP and create PR for remaining material
In your case 50 will confirmed & for remaining 50 it will create PR. for this you have to maintain procurement type "X" in MRP 2 screen in material master.
    Else another way (Manually)
Detaermine two item categories in sales order i.e default & manually.
Put two line items in sales order of same material
    item 10 of quantity 50
item 20 of quantity 50 & select mauall item category TAB or TAS
So system automatically create PR for item 20 once u save order, u can view it in shedule line tab at item level.]
