    Just want to know how will i able to capture the value of the Ord-related bill.st. in a sales document item.
    Here's to give you example.
    - Go to VA03 and type in a credit memo req.
    - Double click on first item material.
    - Go to "Status" tab and you will see the "Ord-related bill.st. under Processing status.
    I want to capture the value found to this and display it in my report but I have no idea what table maintain this.

    You have tried to carry out a business transaction for this sales and distribution document item which, for this item, is not allowed.
    This may be due to the fact that this item is not part of a make-to-order production with cost management in the sales order.
    Procedure
    Please check your entries.
      this is MAKE TO ORDER SCENARIO  THIS ERROR IS FOR RAW MATERIAL  CONVERTION  AGAINST SALES ORDER.

    Check in material master MRP3 view there is field called strategy group where you have option to define the planning strategy like make to order/make to stock & like.

    This error because the item category is not determined correctly in the sales order.
    Check the item category in Sales order line item, for Individual Purchase order scenario its TAB.
    If its not TAB, then check the assignement for Item category in VOV4.
    This thread is more of the SD part, so also put it in SD forum for better solutions.

    I have used an item category which is copy of TAB and the sales order line item is attached to WBS element.

    If you want the sales order creation to initiate a PO creation automatically, check if the "Create PO Automatically" button is ticked on for the item category in Transaction flow tab in tcode VOV7
    This will solve your problem, provided your configuration for PO on the MM side is fine.

    Hi
    Iam getting following error when trying to create a billing request using DP91.
    Error during material determination for sales document item 40001560/000010
    Message no. AD01155
    Diagnosis
    An error occured during material determination for a dynamic item.
    System Response
    The system cannot perform the function.
    Procedure
    Check in the profile being used whether its characteristic allows the assignment of a material to each dynamic item.
    I have checked my DIP profile using ODP02 there are no errors in it, I have created a Setid and assigned it to costing element in selection criteria and material determination criteria.
    Material origin is checked in costing tab in material master.
    Appreciate help in resolving this.

  • Partner determination for sales document item

    Hi people
    We have a partner function in sales order (carrier) that must be determinate by item, this is necessary because we sell different materias in the same order that can't be transported by the same carrier.
    In customizing Partner Determination for Sales Document Header is possible to use an user exit assign the origin X, Y or Z, in this case I would use the exit EXIT_SAPLV09A_003, but for partner determination for sales document item i didn't find a way to assign the origin X, Y and Z
    Does anyone have an idea for solving this?

    Whatever Partner functions are assigned to the Procedure  assigned to the Sales document Type, only those partner functions will feature in the Sales document header.
    In the procedure assigned to the Item category you will find like that 3 only only as in the Sales order you can not have different Sold-to-party for different Item.
    Whichever Sold-to-party is there in the header that is applicable to all item. So at item  level Procedure
    sold-to-party partner function is not required to assign.
    Sold-to-party is unique for a Sales order and can not be changed.
    But at Item level, you can have different Ship-to-party for different items so the partner function has to be there and to deliver the item one SH is mandatory, that is why it has been marked mandatory in the Procedure.
    All the partner function assigned to the Procedure at header level will be copied to all item. In your procedure for the header you must be having 5 partner functions.
    You can change the SH at item level for few items.

  • Settling the Process Order to a Sales document Item

    Hi all,
    I have a unique scenario.. I want a forecatsed Service material (Treating it as MTS Material) to be settled against a Sales Document Item (SDI). (It is like a combination of MTS and MTO).
    We have maintained a ne w Order Type with a new settlement rule. Every time I create a process Order, I want to enter the settlement rule on the overview screen. I get the following error.
    "Settlement account assignment" not allowed (Sys. status NoMP, object VB0000000236000010)".
    Does any of you have faced similar issue?
    Is there a solution for this?

    the key here seems to be the strategy for the material.
    According to your requirement, the alternative could be strategy 50.
    Process:
    - sales plan for the material
    - planning for the material will create Unconvertible planned orders (this allows the planning of raw materials )
    - enter the sales order
    - planning under these conditions will reduce PIR and create a "normal" planned order
    - Convert to process order
    - settlement will be directed to the sales order.

    You can check in the sale order for which line item you are purchasing material. That line item has to be entered in the purchase order.
    Alternatively you can run MD50 i.e. MRP run for the sale order line item wherein system will automatically generate the requirements for the compnents. When you convert the planned orders/purchase requisitions the sale order and line item will be automatically copied into PO.

    Yes it should, but maybe those documents were created before the "History / Log" in General Settings > Services were changed from 0 to (example) 99.
    Only after this action, information will be recorded in the Chang Log.

  • Not more than one service order against same sales document item

    A service order gets created against the sales order item as per
    standard SAP process. As credit management is active, when the order
    is under credit block  for the customer the service order gets created only after the
    credit block is released.
    On revising the order line value the sales document goes for a block
    again. Service order is locked. Both seem to be logical.
    But on releasing the credit block  this time ,  it creates one more service order against the same sales order item. Would logically expect the service order is
    unlocked on release from credit block.
    Can u pls explain this behavior ??  How do u avoid a new order creation and unlocking of the service order when the credit block is released.
    Would like to avoid any change in the service order status once it has been created irrespective of subsequent credit status of the sales order.

    Hi  lisa ,
    It is not possible to enter more than one service performer for a service in sales order .
    But you can  perform the service with two people and have two service confirmations.
    The time entered in service confirmation will be reflected in invoice only(if time and material).
    Also you cannot enter the time sheet with respect to sales order , it is only valid for project task and
    and time types.

  • Multiple Partner Functions for a Sales document Item

    Hi,
    Can you please advise on modeling scenario for showing multiple partner functions for a given sales document in BI Report ..
    Because Key figure values should not be distributed for multiple records just becos of multiple partner functions but users want to see them in the reports along with sales doc and key figure
    I am explaining bit more clearly...
    I can achieve above requirement by having below model ..
    SDOC     ITEM  PF1  PF2  PF3  AMOUNT
    1000       10      AB    CD   EF    50000
    PF : Partner Function
    but as I feel it is a complicated task  to add more and more columns fro partner functions as and when new partner functions have been added or requested to show by users at sales doc level...
    So Can you please advise a better solution to meet the same requirement.

    This will be the normal display in the cube if there is only one Partner Function.
    But what we need is
    SalesDoc______Item_______PartnerFunction________Amount
    80000_________10_____________A1_______________$1000
    80000_________10_____________A2_________________' '
    80000_________10_____________A3_________________' '
    The Amount (KF) should be populated only for the first record for a SalesDoc / Item combo.
    You load data from source to the ODS, say delta.
    Suppose that the below record is already available in the ODS.
    SalesDoc______Item_______PartnerFunction________Amount
    80000_________10_____________A1_______________$1000
    And you get the following data as DELTA in the Data_Package from the source.
    SalesDoc______Item_______PartnerFunction________Amount
    80000_________10_____________A2_______________$1000
    80000_________10_____________A3_______________$1000
    If you populate the Amount again for these 2 records, then the total would sum to $3000, which is wrong.
    So what we do is,
    Write a Select stmt for ALL ENTRIES in Data_Package and fetch the records from the target ODS. Have it in an Internal table, say t_ODS1
    Take the SalesDoc / Item from the Data_Package and chk if it is present in the internal table t_ODS1.
    If it is present, then populate the Amount as ' ' (Blank)
    Else populate the Amount as $1000.
    Say, you are getting 3 new records, which is not present in the ODS1.
    In that case, your internal table t_ODS1 will be blank.
    Now again, we need to populate the Amount only for the first record among the 3 records.
    So, here comes the "Flag".
    Set the Flag as X, when we populate the Amount.
    Everytime chk the Flag <> X.
    Only if it is <> X, populate the Amount.
    Else Leave it Balnk.

    Hello, having trouble with the item list that comes up in the Sales Documents, have a couple of questions:
    Q1:
    When you click the circular white list icon on a Sales Order / Quote line item, it pulls up the Item List. Is it possible to have UDF's displayed in this list? Is it possible to have other fields in the item master data diplayed in this list? (i.e. Additional Identifier, Desc In Foreign Language, etc.)
    Q2:
    Is it possible to apply a filter by default (to remove unwanted item categories) and choose which column this list is sorted by when opened up by default?

    Are ;you talking about the Items List that displays all the items?  If so, you can add fields (columns) to this using form settings.  This is the icon to the right of the pencil icon.  When you are in the Items List, click that icon and you can select fields that you want to see in the Items List (you can do this for all 'lookups'.)  Also, you can filter out items by using the filter icon located to the right of the 'last' arrow icon.
