I tried with all thread ,seems need some more clarityu2026gurus
We are not going to implement any HR module, but we need Sales employee masteru2026
In Partner determination..I tried to add this partner function in Sales Headeru2026
I am getting Entry AF does not exist in TPAR (check entry) this erroru2026.
Okay If I assign thisu2026When iam trying to Create Sales Employee master, I need to VPE1.
It is asking Auction type: what data I need to enter hereu2026.i mean Where can I create Sales Employee master whether in XD01 or in VPE1.

Hi Venky,
I'm sure you mean 'Action type'. It needs to be customized in Personnel node in SPRO even if you do not implement HR module. This action is saying what king of operation you are going to perform - it can be i.e. create new Sales Rep, reassign in organization etc. You should consult an HR consultant for assistance on this customizing.

Sales employee partner function

hi all,
In our system, it was mandatory to enter sales employee in sales header.
now the sales employee id is 0.
to remove this, I have gone to spro and
Sales & Dist - Basic Functions - Partner Det- Set up Partner Det - and clicked on Set up PArt Det for sales employee and unticked it.
After this, I tried to make a sales order (TA) and it's again asking for sales employee
as mandatory. do I wanted to change anywhere other than there ????
Again I tried with IMG -->Sales and distribution -->Master data -->Business partners --> Use sales employee with out HR .
It wont reflect in the system.
Can anyone tell me the method to enter sales employee master details or to avoid as mandatory ?
anyone can help ??

Hi Prach,
You can add one sales employee per line item. In one line item you cannot add morethan one sales employee however.
If you want to include morethan one sales employee to EVERY LINE ITEM, then
1. Create some PFs like Salesperson1, Salesperson2 etc, say upto 5.
2. Now assign this PF to the sales document header and item category,
3. For all the PFs, you can have the same account group.
4. Now you can create customer master for all these sales person.
5. Once this is done, you can link multiple sales persons for each line item.

Employee master data without HR module

Hi All,
I need ur Help.
We are implementing ECC 6.0 to our client; Client is not using HR Module. But I have to maintain employee master data.
Kindly help me how can we create employee master data without using HR Module?
My clients' sales hierarchy is like below,
-In India they are having 4 zones,
1) East, 2) West, 3) North, 4) South
-Each zone has a sales manager, he report to 'Sales Head'.
-Each zone is further divided in to sub zones
-Each zone has an ASM with sales officers, Sales officer report to ASM,
Sales head ->SM->ASM->SO
So i have to maintain this hierarchy without using HR,
Kindly help me on this.

Hi,
To Create Sales employee master data in SAP use the T. Code: VPE1/PAL1.
You have to Maintain Parner Determination in SPRO:
SPRO --> IMG --> SD --> Basic Functions --> PArtner Determination -->Set up Partner Determination
-->Set Up Partner Determination for Customer.
Now, From Left-hand side tree, click on:
Partner determination procedure assignment.
Here maintain these partners to your customer.
Account groups - Function Assignment
Here, Link all Customer Acct Grps to PE/ VE
Now check in XD03 in partners tab.
Check Report: MCTI (Sales Employee-wise Booking/ Billing).

Use the sales employee, you need an HR master record

when I do vpe1 in sd model ,it prompt two transport request .
In order to use the sales employee, you need an HR master record. If you do not use the Human Resources application component (HR), you can transport the HR tables that you need for creating, changing or displaying a sales employee from client 000 into the target client.
How should i do?

Sales employee assignment in soldtoparty master record

Hi gurus,
I have to assign sales representative to customer master record. Following are the settings i made
1. created account group (SREP)with OBD2. only general data tab selected
2. Define Partner determination procedure-SG
3. defined new partner function SS(SALES REP) With partner typ PE and Error is 09.
4. Assigned PF(SS) to account group SREP
5.Maintained only PF-SS in partner determination procedure SG
6.Assigned PDP(SG) to account group SREP
7. In AG(PDP) maintained Partner function SS so that i can assign
Now created sales rep 3434 with account group SREP-ONLY GENERAL DATA MAINTAINED NO SALES DATA FOR Partner functions.
While i am assigning sales rep-3434 to customer(100) customer partner functions in sales data, system is giving error message no persennol no with 3434 maintained. But i have already created 3434 sales rep with account group SREP.
No HR module is implemented.
I want to assign commission to this sales rep when every any purchase happened by this customer.( i will do with rebate agreements). Pls anybody tell me where i made mistake in partner assignments. or should i assign other partner type instead of PE to SS partner function.

Moreover, will we use LSMW to add the data or T code MAss will work.

I want to define three sales employee in bp master data.
this sales employee should be reflected in sales document with respective commison percenatge should be added in the document, how to do this in business one.

For this i did some thing which is following,,,
By using udf i included in master data as additional screen,
in sales document i added collumns for respective sales employees d commisson as each three.
this is think which i did, in this we have to select manually by using drop down list in udf column. but it has to come default if once i defined in master data of BP. how do it

Wat i am trying to say means,
Generally in master data we are giving one sales employee and this sales employee is defaultly coming in sales order for respective customer.( If we defined the Commisson % for sales employee it also will come to sales order ), like this
For me i want to add three sales employee in the master data and this employee's want to come in sales order with thier respective commisson percentage.
How do to this.
Already i have done something which i mentioned eralier through UDF But i am not satisfied with that, pls give me a good solution for this.............

Let me throw some light on this.
First and foremost thing is How does you create sales employee? If you wants to create sales employee, you must used tcode VPE1 but not XD01.
Ple follow the steps as given...........
First create a account group for sold to party having all partner function assign i.e. SP, SH, BP,PY & SE (sales employee)
Then create customer master data using same account group.
Create sales representative using t code VPE1. Assign this sales representative number to customer master data under partner functions as SE & save it.

How to add Sales Employee Details in Customer Master Data

Hello Gurus,
The requirement is that my client is in manufacturing and sales. And they have different sales person assigned (like territory manager and accounts support) for respective customers. My clients needs to have the name of the territory manager available somewhere in CMD so that the end user is aware about the sales support representative. How we can configure it? If yes, will we use LSMW or MASS to upload the data. Please suggest. And we dont have a HR module in Place, so do we use T COde VPE1 (or PAL1) and then asign it parnter function or is there someway else. Eg - My customer number is 1000, in the same master number, details of sales employee with the phone numbers and email address should appear.

For storing the sales employee details, we need an HR master record.
The controlling factor while maintaining Customer Master data is Account Group. Try creating a custom Account group and link the Sales Employee to it.

I have confusion in creating a sales employee without HR..
I need your suggestions and inputs on this issue..
Note-I have thoroughly searched all the forums before posting it here .I am abit confused now going through all those ..
In some forum suggested to use V+23 to create sales employee with PE partner function with account group: 0007 and some forums people are saying use PA30 OR VEP1?
Can you guide me which transaaction code i should use for sales employee creation.
For your valuable inputs will be reward and will great help for me.

You can create Sales Exployee with T-Codes VPE1 or PA30 only if you have implemented HR Module.

Sales Employees in Sales Order

Hi All,
I have created a customer in 3 different sales areas and assigned 3 different employees in each of the sales areas(Customer Master) . When I create a sales order with products from the three divisions I want the employee responsiblefor that particular division to appear in the partner tab at the item level. But I am getting the sales employee of the header division even at the item level. How to get the required employee at the item level.

Dear Ravi,
This is may because sold to party and ship to party is same customer in this situation you can assign only single sales emplyee in the customer master.
If you have different ship to parties to that sold to party you can assign different sales employees to that ship to parties master data ,based on that you can get the sales employee in the sales order according to ship to party you enter.
For emample:-
1. If you have sold to party X there is no different ship to parties(i.e ship to party also X),
You created sales employaee A then assign to customer master X (I.e ship to party also having Sales employee A)
When you create sales order the sales employee A only will come in to the sales order.
2.If you have customer X and the customer X having different ship to parties like 1,2 and 3
You created four sales employess A,B,C and D then assign to X,1,2, and 3 ship to parties master data.
-->Now when you create sales order with Slod to part X and ship to party X then sales emplyee will come as A.
-->when you create sales order with Slod to part X and ship to party1then sales emplyee will come as B.
-->when you create sales order with Slod to part X and ship to party 2 then sales emplyee will come as C.
-->when you create sales order with Slod to part X and ship to party 3 then sales emplyee will come as D.
