Sales employee partner function

hi all,
In our system, it was mandatory to enter sales employee in sales header.
now the sales employee id is 0.
to remove this, I have gone to spro and
Sales & Dist - Basic Functions - Partner Det- Set up Partner Det - and clicked on Set up PArt Det for sales employee and unticked it.
After this, I tried to make a sales order (TA) and it's again asking for sales employee
as mandatory. do I wanted to change anywhere other than there ????
Again I tried with IMG -->Sales and distribution -->Master data -->Business partners --> Use sales employee with out HR .
It wont reflect in the system.
Can anyone tell me the method to enter sales employee master details or to avoid as mandatory ?

Hi Prach,
You can add one sales employee per line item. In one line item you cannot add morethan one sales employee however.
If you want to include morethan  one sales employee to EVERY LINE ITEM, then
1. Create some PFs like Salesperson1, Salesperson2 etc, say upto 5.
2. Now assign this PF to the sales document header and item category,
3. For all the PFs, you can have the same account group.
4. Now you can create customer master for all these sales person.
5. Once this is done, you can link multiple sales persons for each line item.

  • Sales by Partner Functions

    Dear Sirs,
    Is there any way we can track sales by partner functions?
    I have a particular requirement wherein my client wants to track the Sales by -
    1. Corporate Group
    2. Sale employee Partner Function
    One Corporate group (e.g. Bhushan Steel) will be common in all the Sold Party of other customer codes of Bhushan steel (Like, Bhushan steel India Ltd., Bhushan Western India Ltd., Bhushan Steel Corporation).
    Similarly, 1 Sales Employee partner function will be common in multiple sold to party.
    Please suggest some ideas for development / existing standard functionality of SAP too map the sale by these Partner Functions.

    Use Tcode VA05 --  Partner function option is there if 
    1. Corporate Group
    2. Sale employee Partner Function
    these two are not there then u go to SPRO -
    Sales and Distribution -
    Sales ---  Lists  ---  Set Updating Of Partner Index
    there u have to maintain transaction group 0 ( zero ) for Sale order and select yr patrner function. And then use Tcode VA05.

  • Tax Jurisdiction Code Check as part of a Sales Order Partner Function

    Hi,
    I have a scenario where we modify partner information directly in the sales order. These partners are simple addresses and are not tax relevant. We have set them up as one-time customers. Every time when we modify the address information, Vertex kicks in and tries to match the address information (street, city and state) with a tax jurisdiction code. In our case the address information is high level (only city and state) which is not enough for Vertex. SAP issues then a blocking error message.
    We try to find a way to ignore Vertex for these specific partners. In the documentation we have found a user exit, as well as a BADI, but our developpers were not able to make it work in the sales oder.
    The user-exit is the following: EXIT_SAPLFYTX_USER_001
    The BADI is the following: IF_EX_ADDRESS_SUBSCREEN
    In EXIT_SAPLFYTX_USER_001, I've found a parameter (EXEMP_IND) which could enable to bypass the tax jurisdiction code check and the RFC call to Vertex.
    In IF_EX_ADDRESS_SUBSCREEN, I've found a parameter (CHECK_ADDRESS) which could potentially bypass the check as well.
    Did any of you already experience this scenario or would you have an idea about how I could make this work?

    Unfortunately, the sales order is created through an interface (using iDOCs), and the external system feeding the iDOC for the sales order creation does not have any Zip Code information. Besides, even if the Zip Code is entered, it is still not enough for Vertex to choose automatically a Tax Jurisdiction Code, most of the times, it is also requiring a District, which again, will not be passed from the interface.
    We went through this analysis already and we came to the conclusion that we need to bypass this check, as this partner function is not tax relevant.

  • Authorisation at sales order partner function

    Hello All,
    The scenario is that there are group of users who have the authorisation to change delivery and assign a changed vendor (in partner function) at item level.
    Now this group even requires the authorisation to do this at sales order line item level (in partner function), so that the data is alike in sales order as well as delivery.
    My problem is, how to restrict the authorisation to only sales order line item level for partner function tab in VA02.
    An early help would be appreciated.

    Are we allowed to challenge the requirement ?
    Why does it bother you that the partners are different on sales and delivery docs ? Assuming you have delivery-related billing the partners on the billing doc will be those from the delivery.
    I don't like these automatic updates in the backgrounds, you will run into exceptional cases where you specifically do not want it to happen.
    Your authorization is set up not to allow these users to change the sales order. That is for a reason. Can't you put a procedural solution in place, some way contact the persons who do have access ? Could do that even via workflow.

    When creating a Sales Order in the ICWC application,how can we get all the business partner which belong to different partner functions (All Possible Payers,All Possible Ship to Parties).
    In the application only one value is displayed by default.I want to fetch all the possible partner functions and fill these in a Pop-Up for proposal.

    Hi Ajitabh,
    Actualy the popup function for the partner selection in ICWC is disabled by coding, you will be able to check it in the debug.
    It is not easy to include this in ICWC, as if you simply activate the popup allowed flag in coding, there will be a short dump. As the popup is designed within the ABAP GUI environment not in the browser.
    SAP explains this as ICWC is used for quicker processing, thus nearly every determination will taken the defualt one to save time.
    I am not so sure whether it is possible to developer a new view for selection. This should need much work of codings/development.

                   While creating sales orders all partner function should get copied from contract for same sales order no. ,
    But In our system only sold-to, bill-to, ship- to & payer get copied from contracts to sales order., other partner functions are custom functions...
    where I can find logic for this functionality?

    As you want to assign N number of employees at item level . first of all go to IMG->sales and distribution ->basic functions->partner determination procedure->partner determination procedure at item level
    While doing partner determination procedure at item level don't check the boxes when you assign to your partner determination procedure. and just assign the sales  Employee partner function apart from the standard partner functions.(SP,SH,BP,PY).
    Now when you create the sales order and manually you can assign the sales employee number for all items.

  • Partner function should be  mandatory  for a perticular sales org

    We have a requirement to make Sales representative assignment to the sold-to-party  mandatory , during order creation ( for a particular sale org)  . We  have to generate incompletion log for all the orders where this partner function is missing in the header data . Please throw some light on how to do this.

    I don't think it is possible sales organisation wise
    But you can have this requirement sales document type wise or item category wise or Customer account group wise through maintaining the check mark for sales employee partner function in the Mandatory check box at partner functions in procedure step in the partner dtermination.
    Because partner functions maintained in the prtner procedure that procedure will assigned at these levels.
    Customer Master
    Sales Document Header
    Sales Document Item
    Delivery
    Shipment
    Billing Header
    Billing Item
    You can do like this
    You define different customer account group for that sales organisation
    Define new Partner determination procedure through copying existing standard one
    You activate mandatory check for sales employee partner function in that new prtner determination procedure.
    You assign this new procedure to the account group which is sales organisation specific.
    Now you create customer master data with that account group in that specific sales org now system will give the error message if don't maintain the sales employee in that customer master data>sales area data>partner functions tab.
    Before going to create customer master you create Sales employee master throuh VPE1 transaction.
    Still not satisfied
    Try with these User Exits with help of ABAPer
    User Exits for Partner Determination
    Partner determination contains the following user exits for your use:
    EXIT_SAPLV09A_001
    You can use this user exit to control whether an address that was entered manually and has already been used in other documents (referenced), should be referenced again if it changes or whether a new address shold be created (duplicated).
    EXIT_SAPLV09A_002
    Call up this user exit if a customer has not been maintained in the current sales area.
    EXIT_SAPLV09A_003
    Use this user exit to control the origin of partners in the partner determination procedure (origin X, Y or Z). If X, Y, or Z has been entered in the Origin field, this user exit is automatically called up during partner determination.
    EXIT_SAPLV09A_004
    Use this user exit to integrate your own check in a program, that runs before the partner is saved in the document.
    For more detailed information, see the program documentation for each ofthe user exits.

  • COMMISSION TO SALES EMPLOYEE WITH OUT HR MODULE

    I have senario where i wanted to give a commission to each sales employee. Also i dosenot want to create Sales Employee?bcoz HR module is not implemented?
    Is it possible to give commission to sales employee?
    Plz send what are the customization for the same?

    Sales commissions can be configured frm SD if they are simple in nature. This is done through rebates. If the commission and management is complex in nature then it can be done through ICM ( Incentives and Commissions Management )
    The following procedure details the configuration of the Sales commission for Employee. The problems could e at any one of the following steps.
    You need to create a partner function for sales employee, a copy of the standard partner function available in SAP. Then do the appropriate partner determination, that is assignment to the sales document and item partner determination procedure. Next step is to create master data for all your sales employees as Vendors, assign these masters you created to the sales order at item level.
    We can see the orders sales employee wise in VA05 provided we add the sales employee partner function in the index list under sales and distribution, sales, lists, set updating of partner index.
    In the  pricing procedure, we need to maintain a condition for sales employee commissions and choose whether you want to enter the commissions percentage manually or prefer automatic determination. Here we need to get an input from the client as to whether they have fixed or variable commission percentages.
    Create an accrual account key for this and assign it to the condition type in the pricing procedure and remember that the condition type in the procedure should be statistical and not relevant for printing.
    Next step is to make the settlements after the Invoices have been posted and the relevant commissions accrued to a G/L Account.
    Now settlements could be manual as well as automatic. If you choose to make automatic settlements, there needs to be a ZREPORT which makes a vendor payment posting or if the settlement is manual, you need to might be run a BDC periodically to post the invoices for the so called Vendors (Sales Employee)

  • How to set the Description Name of Sales Employee in COPA

    Dear Expert,
    I maintained Characteristis Sales Employee at COPA but when I run this report, there is no description name of employee appear. It just appear the Number of Sales Employee.
    I used table VBPA and field Name PARVW in Characteristic Derivation. In Sales Document I created Partner Functin VE Sales Employee.for characterristic and I ser VE Partner Function in SD Document.
    In Data Structure KMVTNR Sales Employee there is no Validation Check Table. 
    Kindly help to solve this problem and thank you in advance for your help.

    You need to use Characteristic Derivations for this to work.
    In transaction KEDR, maintain a "look-up" and provide your Reference table as VBPA and your target field will be the COPA Characteristic that you defined for the Partner Function Sales Employee.
    Select the Characteristics that will allow you to determine the Sales Employee (Partner Function = "VE") and then map the KUNNR field to the COPA Value Field.
    This will allow the flow of Sales Employee Values into COPA and hence the description as well.

    Hi PM,
    1)First check that u have determined the partner determination
    procedure.
    2)check u have assigned it to the Sales doc type.
    3)Then go to VA05,and enter the "SE" the code u gave
    to Sales Employee Partner functions.
    (For this the SE -customer master record SHOULD be present).
    4)Even after this if u do not get "SE" in the partner function
    field of the Selection criteria,then u need to do this:
    Goto ABAP dictationary(SE11),find out the field for
    "Sales Employees" in the Sales order Header or details  
    table.
    Note the field name and the table name for this field.
    Then ask the ABAPer to modify the input Screen
    for t-code VA05 ,so that it displays the this additional field
    "SE" along with "SP", "SH" ,etc..
    By this u can arrive at the List of Sales Orders by Sales
    Employee..

    First of all  Welcome to SDN forum
    First of all maintain data by doing the assignments  in OVRO and OVRP
    But make sure that you have maintained Customer statistics grp in CMR->sales area data ->sales tab
    In the same way make sure that you have maintained Material statistics grp in MMR->sales orgn1 tab->material statistics grp
    Now run the report MCTI then you will get the data

    Characteristic Name of Sales Employee in COPA report is not appear, it is just the a Code of Sales Employee
    1.I created Characteristic Derivation t.code KEDR Table lookup PA0001 using condition Origin GLOBAL USERTEMP1 until USERTEMP6
    2.During Test Analyze Derivation there was result “Derivation was not carried out. Reason: Not fulfilled” in Field USERTEMP6

    Hi experts,
    If I want to assign a personal as sales employee for a certain customer, do I just need to make the assignment in "partner function" of the customer: to add the "Sales Employee" partner function and enter the personal nr. created by HR? Or do I need to take care of other changes, like to change something in the personal master data with VPE2?

    Hi,
    In case you have HR implemented, u can set up partner determination in customizing and also make changes in customer master for the customer if the sales employee is static or make sales employee mandatory while entering the order.
    Sales employee is represented as PE/AF in partner determination.
