Sales employee / sales person

Hi,
I want to use the sales employee , and want report on the same. As there is a option that i can use sales employee without implementing HR. Since we Are not implementing HR.
Plz guide me as how i will use this function,
How to maintian master data for sales employee, what is configuration required the complete process.

Dear Rishi,
To use Sale Employee without implementing HR Module, follow this:
You have to Maintain Partner Determination in SPRO:
SPRO --> IMG --> SD --> Basic Functions --> Partner Determination -->Set up Partner Determination
As you want it in Sales Order (say, At Header), Click:
-->Set Up Partner Determination for Sales Document Header
Select TA - Standard Order.
Now, From Left-hand side tree, click on:
Partner determination procedure assignment.
Here assign TA to your Sales Doc type (Say, OR - Sales Order).
Again from Left-hand tree, select
Account groups - Function Assignment
Here, Link all Customer Acct Groups to PE/ VE
Similarly configure Partner Determination for Customer Master & other Sales Documents.
Now in Sales Order (T. Code: VA01/ 02), to include Sales Employee:
Goto --> Header --> Partner
here, in Column Partner. Function: Select VE/ PE as defined for Sales Employee.
To Create Sales Employee / Representative - T. Code: VPE1 / PAC1

    by doing this i can get the report employee wise

    hello, friend.
    you can assign the sales employee to Sales Organization, Sales Office and Sales group.  you can make a report for this.  this can be done during Create/Change sales personnel (VPE1/VPE2).
    in SIS, you have t-code MCTI to report on sales by sales employee.  you can find Sales org, Dist channel, Division, Sales employee, Sold-to and Material (as well as date range) as filters.

  • Invoice split due to different Sales employee/person (Partner Fn. VE (SE))

    Hi All,
    Invoice split happens due to different sales person in sales order line items.
    Example  for SO:
    1st line item -  XXX sales employee
    2nd line item - YYY sales employee
    3rd line item - ZZZ sales employee
    then 3 invoice's are getting created.
    Any suitable way to avoid this.
    I have tried changing copy routine in VTFL. but its of no use.
    I am an ABAP'er. So if there is any user exit to achieve this please let me know.

    Based on your requirement create new copy control routine and assigned these routine to Data VBRK/VBRP field in copy control(VTFL).

  • Assign personal as sales employee

    Hi experts,
    If I want to assign a personal as sales employee for a certain customer, do I just need to make the assignment in "partner function" of the customer: to add the "Sales Employee" partner function and enter the personal nr. created by HR? Or do I need to take care of other changes, like to change something in the personal master data with VPE2?

    Hi,
    In case you have HR implemented, u can set up partner determination in customizing and also make changes in customer master for the customer if the sales employee is static or make sales employee mandatory while entering the order.
    Sales employee is represented as PE/AF in partner determination.

    in Sales Item Line. As the standard SAP, I can add only one
    "Sales Employee" value in one partner function. Any suggestions?

    Hi Prach,
    You can add one sales employee per line item. In one line item you cannot add morethan one sales employee however.
    If you want to include morethan  one sales employee to EVERY LINE ITEM, then
    1. Create some PFs like Salesperson1, Salesperson2 etc, say upto 5.
    2. Now assign this PF to the sales document header and item category,
    3. For all the PFs, you can have the same account group.
    4. Now you can create customer master for all these sales person.
    5. Once this is done, you can link multiple sales persons for each line item.

  • Replicating partner function (VE=sales employee) from CRM to ECC

    Hello, we managed to replicate the ECC customers and contact persons to SAP CRM.
    Now we also want to replicate to CRM the partner functions (VE = sales employee) of ECC that are linked to the customer in the sales view. When I replicate the object customer_rel they are not synchronised to CRM. I have maintainted the 'distribution of partner functions from SAP ECC into CRM and vice versa in SPRO.
    What are the different steps that I need to do? What am I missing?
    Should we be alble to see those relationships on BP in CRM once synchronised? If yes, in which relationship? Since the employee responsible is already filled manually for another function.

    Hi Anouck.
    If I've understood correctly, for that you must pass the employees from ECC to CRM first.
    You can do this by running report RHALEINI at ECC side, but you must configure some things first (like creating a CRM grouping to indicate the number range for employees, and to activate at CRM side this integration)

  • Sales employee and partner function.

    Hello ,
    We have reporting requirement at our client as Sales by Sales employee . I can see the standard charactierstic " 0SALES_EMPL" in our Sales overview cube which is mapped to PVRTNR at R/3 side . 
    But at our client Sales employee is maintained through partner function and we  have lot of differnet parther function to update the Sales Rep on SO and Billing document .  So basically Partner function is ER , the Personal number is getting updated. 
    So with Standard field of PVRTNR - Sales empl doesn't get used in  my scenario .
    Could you please let me know , now how can I update this Sales Rep on my Sales Order header or On Billing document  ?

    If there are more than one Sales Rep assigned to Sales Order , then how to manage .
    As i said , we have mutiple partner function ...Let me put a table , as it is functional information which I am not getting correctly .

    Hello All,
    we have a scenario to map the sales employee and pay the commision.this needs to mapped without HR module.
    I could see a config in S&D->Master Data>Business Partner--->Use Sales Employee without HR.
    has any used this function? Pls let me know how to use 'Use Sales Employee without HR'  since there is no much information in IMG on this.

    Use of Sales Employee in HR and SD
    When you access this in the IMG it creates two transport requests to
    transport the relevant HR tables from client 000. So I added these requests
    to the buffer and imported the requests into the development client.
    However, still when trying to access the funtion in the IMG it asks to
    create two more requests. Does anyone know what steps I need to take to get
    this to work. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong on the Basis side or
    whether this is an HR/SD configuration question. Running the below mentioned
    report just generates the same transport requests.
    This is the help text on the subject.
    Use Sales Employee Without HR
    In order to use the sales employee, you need an HR master record. If you do
    not use the Human Resources application component (HR), you can transport
    the HR tables that you need for creating, changing or displaying a sales
    employee from client 000 into the target client.
    Note
    In order to transport the required HR tables from client 000 into the target
    client, you must have two transport requests. Report RPUTRL00 is called and
    updates the Customizing and system tables in separate transport requests
    Report RPUTRL00 only copies the standard SAP config.
    You will need some basic HR config doing (switching off unnecessary fields,
    payroll area's , etc.) which shouldn't take more than a couple of hours
    Personnel area's (usually same as Company code)
    Personnel sub area's
    Employee Group and subgroup
    Action L1 may need changing (if the standard doesn't suit your requirements)
    0001 Organizational Assignment
    0002 Personal Data
    0006 Addresses
    0900 Sales and Distribution Data
    0105 Communication

    mini-master was setup for 6 countries, config & testing took 2 days / 18
    hours. The doc doesn't say which fields we switched off but it should give
    you some idea of what was done.

  • Sales Employee tagging

    Dear All,
    I want to tag Sales employees to certain Sales Orders. However, it seems that Salesmen can be tagged only on the BP level. Is it possible to have them tagged by BP as well as the Day-book?
    For eg: Mr. X handles the BP XYZ, but only for product No. 1..... For product no.2 from the same BP, Mr. Y is responsible.

    Hussain,
    Both Keith and Gordon have pointed you in the right direction.   You could have different Sales Person at the line level i,e., for each Item
    This way as Keith has suggested you can add a User defined field in the Item Master and link the Sales Person on this UDF.
    Then when entering the Item in the Sales Order, a formatted search could be used to pull the Sales Person from the Item Master when the Item Code is selected.

    I am entering A/R invoices using DI/API.I am using the following code -

    I want to set Sales Employee as  -No SE - .I tried the code
    objDoc.SalesPersonCode = -1
    But any random sales person is getting set.The code for setting owner is working properly bu the code for setting sales employee is not working.

    What ur doing is fine. Just make sure that ur using the correct SLPCODE from table OSLP

    Hi
    First of all you need to capture the sales employee name in the sales order.
    You can do this through creating the Sales Person with transaction PA30/20/40
    add the same sales employee in sales order.
    You can extract the report based on the sales employee and sales and pay them.
    If your company does have HR module impletemed , you can capture the sales employee name in the additional fields provided in the sales order.

  • Create Partner function: VE Sales Employee / structural authorizations

    Hi,
    We are running SAP on ERP2005.
    We are using structural authorizations to limit managers access to HR data - only own employees.
    Now I want a department in our copany who maintain sales orders in VA02 to be able assign a Partner function: VE Sales Employee.
    The System read the employee name from HR infotypes.
    That is ok for the group members in the department if they are given access via authorisation object P_ORGIN.
    The problen is the Manager for the group who have structurel authorizations. She will only be able to assign persons form her own department
    Can anybody help me to sove this problem?

  • Partner type PE for sales employee

    Hi,
         I have created new Partner function and assigned PE partner type to it and done all assignments to creates sales employee. while i am creating sales employee with VD01with external no 200 but in partner functions tab in sales area, system is not automatically taking external no. Asking to key in PE(personnel no) instead. Can anybody help me to create sales employee so that i can use him for rebates.

    Thanks for your reply, but PE partner function has partner type AU(contanct person). While creating sales order system is not accepting sales employee no which was created with PA30. i want sales employee should get commission on his customers sales order. I have been searching for this setting and posing questions in this form. Unfortunately i couldnot get proper answers. Can you tell me the configuration steps in detail.

    Is there any way so that we can include the name of sales employee in SAP sales Order.
    So that I can fetch all the sales order month wise for any particular Sales Employee......

    Yes, you can put in the sales order the employee that picked the sales order and the employee that is registering the order in the system.
    To do this, you need to create a partner procedure and assign it in your sales order/contract or others sales documents that you have.
    The partners can be maintained in the sold-to-party, or you can define in your partner procedure that you have a mandatory partner and the user that is registering the sales order in the system need to put manually the partner.
    There are some ways to achieve this.
