Sales Order based Supply Order

Hi,
I came across a very good scenario, where Sales order can be sourced from different suppliers based on customer site. I tried using sourcing assignment by assigning a sourcing rule to a part based on customer/customer site-
Item - A
customer - CustA
Customer site - SiteA
SiteB
Suppliers -SuppA
-SuppB
Sourcing Rule
- SR1 - Source 100% from SuppA
- SR2 - Source 100% from SuppB
Sourcing assignement
Item A when S/o with Customer CustA with site SiteA -> Use SR1 sourcing rule
Item A when S/o with Customer CustA with site SiteB -> Use SR2 sourcing rule
But because of some unknown reason ASCP is not able to recognize this sourcing so not able to achieve this one. I am even not sure if customer/customer site field in the assignment set are meant for this or just for GOP based scheduling.
Please let me know if anyone has any thoughts on this scenario.

Hello
Please note that sourcing decisions are based on sourcing rules defined at each level separately and dependency from one level of supply chain network isn't carried over to next level of sourcing. Thus, you can choose ship-from org based on customer-site but once demand gets shifted to this org, next level of sorcinng isn't dependent of source of end demand. Therefore 2 separate demands originating from multiple customer/ sites will be sourced identically with this org.
Hope this clarifies the designed beahvior.
Thanks

  • Supplier Wise Booked Sale Order/Dealer Orde Report

    hello all,
i have to take 6 monthly or Yearly based supplier wise Dealer Order/Sale Order report, so can anyone please let us know is there any standard t-code? if i go for Z report then from which tables i can get the details?
    Regards saurabh.

supplier wise Dealer Order/Sale Order report
If Supplier in above means Vendor and the report requirement is to link Vendor and Customer (Dealer Order / Sales order), there are no such report in Standard SAP. Standard Reports in SAP do not link procurement and sales and ideally not recommended, as it is complex to establish the logic, as to what procurement is done for which sales. Ideally Procument will be generic and not linked to single sales order.
Please elaborate and specify what supplier wise would refer to and more descriptive requirement.

  • SALES ORDER BASED  STOCK TRANSFER ISSUE

    Sales order based planning
                                                 A
                                B                              C
               D                        E
In this A (header material) is sales order item and B is sub assembly. D, E, and C are raw materials.
    I am having four company codes 1000 , 2000, 3000, 4000 with plants one in each as 1010, 2010, 3010, and 4010 respectively.
Always sub assembly B will be manufactured by 4010 plant. The sales orders for material A will be received by 1010, 2010 and 3010 independently.
When i run MRP in 1010, 2010, 3010 for there respective sales order for the material A
The material B will be always planned in 4010 basing on the special procurement key as stock transfer for the material B maintained in the respective sales order plant.
My requirement is that for manufacturing B  i require material D and E .these raw materials  always has to be supplied from the parent sales order plant.
    Example :
If material B is manufactured for 1010 plant the raw materials D and E have to be planned in 1010.
If material B is manufactured for 2010 plant the raw materials D and E have to be planned in 2010.
If material B is manufactured for 3010 plant the raw materials D and E have to be planned in 3010
For this I have different special procurement key 45 as stock transfer from plant to MRP AREA ( in stand SAP). This will work if I am using in the same company code.
Can I use this as inter company code also?

    Hi,
i think BOM did not get copied correctly.
    the bom is like this
A header material  and B and C are components for A . B is sub assembly with D abd E as child raw materials

  • Creation of A/R Down Payment Invoice  based on Sales Order not logical

When creating a A/R Down Payment Invoice based on a Sales Order you
have the option to create multible ones. Which by itself could be
usefull to create one of 50 % for a certain day and decide they need to
pay another 25 % at a later date.
But SBO does not track what already have been posted. Therefore you can
create a sum more then a 100% without warning or blockage.
    Tested this in SBO 2007 A SP:00 PL:00
    Scenario:
    Sales - AR>Sales Order
Create and post a Sales Order
Sales - AR>A/R Down Payment Invoice
    Create an A/R Down Payment
Select the BP and copy the Sales Order
    Set DPM to 40%
    Post the A/R Down Payment
Sales - AR>A/R Down Payment Invoice
    Create an A/R Down Payment
Select the BP and copy the Sales Order
    Set DPM to 100%
    Post the A/R Down Payment
Sales - AR>A/R Down Payment Invoice
    Create an A/R Down Payment
Select the BP and copy the Sales Order
    Set DPM to 70%
    Post the A/R Down Payment
Making the total for the Sales Order 210% worth of Down Payment
Invoices without warning/blocking. I would expected that you would only
be able to set the rest sum %. For instance first scenario I entered
60% therefore setting the second Down Payment Invoice to a max of 40%
Untill you have used up the 100% and you cannot select the Sales Order
    in question..
If multible users do the same work, SBO doesn't show that it has
already been done. Same if you forgot you already created it you can
still create one. Plus sometimes it will happenyou create the Down
Payment Invoice and not paying attention you create the first one with
a 100% and later with the intended percentage..

    Hello Petronella,
you are right that B1 is not checking the total value of DP created from the Sales Order.
The logic and checking procedure here is only between Sales Order -> Delivery/Invoice.
DP Invoice is considered as transaction related to document the receipt of the money (parallel to the sales process). Between the moment of basing of DP to Sales Order it is still possibility to adjust Sales Order as there is no posting behind Sales Order.
The question is what would be a checking  procedure in case that on Sales Order there is based Delivery and DP? What would be the system priority to take into a consideration?

  • How to Restrict Confirmed Quantity in Sales Order (Based on Batch Expiry)

    Dear SD Experts,
Currently our sales order confirms any amount of quantity if stock is available. And only during delivery it checks for the expiration of the batch and reduces the delivery quantity to batches available in stock within expiry.
But since we are doing a bulk creation of deliveries at the end of the day, the check for expired batches is happening too late and no visibility for the data entry operators of stock that cannot be delivered during creation of the sales orders.
So I am looking for solution to restrict the confirmed quantity in sales order to actually confirm only stock what can be delivered. i.e. based on expiry of the batch.
    Thanks!

    hi
in Logistic general - batch mangement - batch determination allocation and check activation - maintain allocate SD search Procedure/ activate check
check this for your sales area and sales document type and then in the search procedure maitain the strategy to check the Expiration date.

  • Can we take standard report for all sales orders based on the condition typ

    Hi all,
Based on the condition type, we need to take a report for sales orders on the particular date.
    Thanks and Regards.....VM

    Hello again.
Searching for a solution, I found a Logical Database for sales orders, that have all the information that you need.
Using like reference the post of Bhagavatula, in the same transaction SQVI you can use, instead of the suggested join, you can select a logical database called VAV in Data source.
This logical database links the tables, VBAK, VBAP, VBUK and KONV that is the central point of the question.
You can list the information of logical database using the transaction SLDB.
    In 'Logical Database' inform VAV.
Press F8 to list all the fields.
More information about logical database in:

  • Restriction for items from Purchase Order based on Sale Order

    Hi !
We create PO directly from Sale Order ( by ticking Option under Logistic tab, 'Purchase Order') for customer C01 (for eg).
From the PO created, we post GRPO.
    Now our need is,
Assume if 10 Qty is been ordered in such a way and been received (GRPO posted). it 'll add on to the stock account i.e will increase stock qty at our whse.
is it possible to restrict these 10 qty of item from being sold to any other Customer other than whom hav ordered i.e if we create sale order for C02 the SBO should not take the items received from PO created based on Sales Order created for C01?
    Meera.

    Meera,
Which version of SBO are you using 2005 or 2007?
I don't think Serial numbers can help in this scenario.  There is no hard allocation or blocking possible using Serial numbers.
This is the Work around I am thinking about.
Set the items to be Batch Managed - On Every Transaction
When performing Goods Receipt, enter the Sales Order Number as the Batch Number
When creating the delivery, using SBO_SP_TransactionNotification we can easily check the Batch of the Item being selected and verify it with the BaseRef of Delivery lines to match with Sales Order number.
If the numbers don't match we can warn user with message, "The items batch reserved for Sales Order xyz"
Even if you make a mistake when entering the batch number same as Sales Order number when doing a goods receipt. It can still be traced and blocked during delivery.
Hint: The Batch table records the Goods Receipt transaction along with the BaseDocument number, Base Ref, etc
If you decide to go this route, I could help you further.
    Let me know

  • Migo based on sales order error -Require CO object

    Dear Experts,
    We have one process,
Where we are creating sales order and based on sales order, we are doing migo and miro. final entry will be consumption a/c dr to vendor then we are doing billing for the same.
We got error in migo based on sales order stated that 'please enter co account assignment object.
where i will cpature this cost on sales order or cost center.
I think must be part of sales order becoz we are doing consumption based on sales order and revenue and csot must be flow to copa in billing. M i correct?
If cost object is sales order or PSG in migo? what setting need to be done for the same.
What will be the ideal process for the same.
    regards
    RR

    hi ajay,
I have used AAC -X with item category 's' for third party that was suggested by sap
and the gl i have defined in okb9 with PSG tick.So consumption account linked to my PSG. becoz i m doing migo/miro based on sales order and final entry will be consumption a/c to vendor in my case.
System will determine PSG in migo and then billing will happened for the same.So my cost and revenue will flow to COPA.
We have one programme SDVPRSUPDATE that need to execute every monthend. In order to flow cost to COPA for some cases where Billing happened but no GR happened for the same.then this prograame will flow VPRS cost to COPA.

  • Forecasting Based planning, consider incoming Sales orders, Consume PIR's

    Hello Guys:
I am in real Problem about this one: I am implementing forecast-based MRP for our client which is a trading company: buys, keeps in storage and sells goods (R/3 ECC 6). We are using material forecast on a monthly period, and run MRP on a weekly period since POs are to be created weekly (therefore we also use the "Splitting indicator" to split monthly forecast values to weekly requirements)
The way MRP calculates future stocks in this situation (MRP type VV) is like this:
    Current stock
    + Open POs to arrive
    - Forecast Requirement
    = Future stock
The problem with that one is that if there is an SD order or delivery in the future, SAP does not count in that one as well. It is a real problem, just imagine that in two weeks we have a forecast of 10 pieces of a material. SAP will propose Preqs based on this 10 piece consumption, even if we have an SD sales order for that week on 30 pieces. (by the way the SD order is in the list of MD05 but SAP does not count in that one for future stock reductions).
If I modify the MRP type in customizing OMDQ, I can make SAP to count in real consumptions (sales orders) in the future stocks: I set "MRP procedure" to PD (MRP) or "R1" (Time-phased materials planning). In this case MRP calculates like this:
    Current stock
    + Open POs to arrive
    - Forecast Requirement
    - Real future requirements (sales orders)
    = Future stock
So in this case SAP will recommend double quantities to purchase: once for the forecast reqs and on the other hand for the real sales orders.
It is a trap, SAP should reduce the forecast requirements with the real requirements. The really bad news is that there is a switch for this in OMDQ for the MRP types called "Reduce forecast" but it is not working: I have tried all the combinations of codes in the frame "Use forecast for MRP" but it can only decrease req for the current month and only on a timely basis code "2" for MRP procedure "PD" or "R1".
    Thanks for Help.
    Sweth123

    Hi Mario:
I am using MRP type PD , Running the forecast using MP30 which generate the forecast requirement.
I go to MD61 , I Slected Material Forecast option and Copied the forecast requirements as planned independent requirement,
AFter that when i run MD02 and go to MD04 Screen.
System Displays MRP Element: UnPlrq----Forecast quantity  --1000
MRP Element VSF for Planned Independent requirement -1000.
Based upon historical consumption data , if there ia requirement of 1000pc , system is proposing 2000 pcs to buy.
Is there any config setting i need to change so that system won't double the requirement quanitities?
    Please clarify
    Sweth.

  • Sales orders in TDMS company/time based reduction  are outside the scope

    Guys,
I have had some issues with TDMS wheras it didn't handle company codes without plants very well. That was fixed by SAP. But I have another problem now. If I do a company code and time based reduction, It doesn't seem to affect my sales orders in VBAK/VBUK as I would have expected. I was hoping it would only copy sales orders across that have a plant which is assigned to a company code that was specified in the company code based reduction scenario. That doesn't seem to be the case.
VBAK is now about one third of the size of the original table (number of records). But I see no logic behind the reduction. I can clearly see plenty of sales documents that have a time stamp way back from what I specified in my copy procedure and I can see others that have plant entries that should have been excluded from the copy as they do belong to different company codes than the ones I specified.
I was under the impression that TDMS would sort out the correct sales orders for me but somehow that doesn't seem to be happening. I have to investigate further as to what exactly it did bring across but just by looking at what's in the target system I can see plenty of "wrong" entries in there either with a date outside the scope or with a plant outside the scope.
I can also see that at least the first 10'000 entries in VBAK in the target system have a valid from and to date of 00.00.0000 which could explain why the time based reduction didn't work?
Did you have similar experiences with your copies? Do I have to do a more detailed reduction such as specifying tables/fields and values?
    Thanks for any suggestions
    Stefan
Edited by: Stefan Sinzig on Oct 3, 2011 4:57 AM

The reduction itself is not based on the date when the order was created but the logic enhances it to invoices and offers, basically the complete update process.
If you see data that definitely shouldn't be there I'd open an OSS call and let the support check what's wrong.

  • Function Module to retrieve ALL Sales Orders in SAP based from a UserStatus

Can someone know a function module to give me a set of Sales Documents
of a specifc type and a specific System Status.
    For example:
    CALL FUNCTION '?????'
        EXPORTING
txt04    =    'INAC'    "specfic status text not the 'E0001' JEST-STAT value.
inact    =    ' '           "for ACTIVE statuses only.
auart    =    'ZMAG'   "specifc document type
        TABLES
t_vbeln    = i_vbeln   "result is a list of sales orders based from criteria above
I am thinking it is not as simple as the above. But 2 - 3 FMs will do.
Note: I am not given a choice to SELECT from DB tables VBAK and JEST. They want pure FM calls only. Please reply ASAP.

    Hi,
i dont think there is any FM as such ..

  • FIFO based pricing issue on sales orders!

    This is the situations :
All setups in the comany are for FIFO. Item Level, Item Group Level, and Company Level.
    1. We purchased 1 item1 for 125 dollars. PO invoice completed. First one in FIFO layer.
    2. purchased 1 more of same  item1 for 150 dollars. PO Invoice completed. Second in FIFO layer.
    3. We want to sell above items to Customer1. Customer1 has price list set to - Last Evaluated Price.
    4. Ran Inventory Audit Report to update the price list LastEvaluatedPrice.
    5. Start order for Customer1 and add 1 item1 to order -
    Price = 125 <== OK.
Make the above quantity 2 or add another line for item1.
Error : Price=125 <=== NOT OK, should be 125 for first item and 125 for second item (same item).
    6. Run Audit Report again and repeat step 5.
Error : No change. Same as step results. That is price=125 instead of 150.
NOTE: Customer could end up in loss based on above pricing.
    7. Yes there are workarounds :
7.1  Run Inventory Valuation Report for the item with MovingAverage as the price. Then the evaluated price is right.
7.2  Right click or run a query and get the price in layers and then calculate your own.
Note: No workarounds are good for customer. They and their staff do no want to open additional windows or run queries etc.
QUESTION: Why is FIFO pricing not working for Sales Order?
Note: Why would anyone use FIFO? It could give them big loss or big profits all unintended?
Please help? Is this FIFO problem, or my setup problem or something I do not understand?
    Thanks and Cheers!

    Hi  Syed,
Open sales order select that item and right click in unit price column and select "last prices" option. Then Last prices form will open just deselect BP Code check box and select vendor. you can see there prices in detail level just double click on row which price you want.
    Thanks

  • Sales order item level deliveryblock based on the material's destin country

    Hi Experts
I have a requirement to set delivery block to an order at the item level based on of country of destination and material.
-Requirement is to block automatically order line when a material is not authorized (Regulatory affair) to be shipped to the country.
-We need to allow only authorized person to have ability to remove the block-How can this be set up?
    - Delivery block like these are usually set up for sales org & material (and not country level), the issue here is different countries in same sales org.
    Awaiting for earliest comments
    Thanks
    Banu

    Hi,
In standard SAP you can not have delivery block at the item level based on the country of destination. Because contry of destination comes from Ship to party master data and material master is not based on the country.
You need to have development or Exit and Z table. You need to maintain the list of materials allowed to various countries in the Ztable. Exit/development needs to check the table at the time of saving the sales order, 'If there is no table entry, delevery block needs to be maintained on the particular item shipping tab.
Further you can discuss with your technical consultant about the logic and the possibilities.

  • Purchase orders based on sales orders.

    Hello Experts!
I am using MRP in order to create purchase orders based on my sales orders, thats the easy part. My problem is that i need to create a report matching the sales orders with the corresponding purchased orders created through the MRP wizard.
Where can i find such a link between POR1 and RDR1? is there a way I can obtain such report?
    Thanks in advance.
    Best Regards.
    Javier.

Hi Rakesh, thanks for your reply. Well i was trying to use the POR1.BaseType and POR1.BaseEntry in order to match them with RDR1.ObjType and RDR1.DocEntry, but POR1.BaseType and POR1.BaseEntry have NULL as their value.
I thought creating orders using MRP was supossed to set the corresponding values to those fields. Is there any other way i can link a purchase order created via the MRP wizard to the base sales order?.
    Best regards.
