Sales order confirmation to the customer through email

Hi
I have configured output type z101 for sales document.Here I selected transmission medium 5 for 'External Send' . After that I completed output determination procedure as same steps and  testing purpose I opened VA02 and goto Extras> ouput>Header>Edit>
here I entered ouput type  ,medium 5(External Send),partner,language.
My issue is
Whenever I created(saved) the sales order  then immediately order confirmation goes to the customer emailid. customer email maintained in customer master(xd01).
Please inform the  what are the required settings using SCOT Transaction.  This is the urgent need.

    Hello all,
    I am very new to SAP SD. I am using ECC 6.0 machine.
    When i search and display any sales order, it contains PO number. I want details of this Purchase Order. For that i used 'BAPI_PO_GETDETAIL'. But after executing it shows me that 'PO Does Not Exist.'
    After some investigation i realized that it is a Customer's Purchase Order. I need the details of the Customer PO. Is there any built in BAPI which will give me these details?? Or any table which will store the details of this PO so that i can write custom RFC to fetch data from the same??

    hello, friend.
    do i understand correctly that you would like to see information related to the customer's PO?
    1)  normally, you receive a call from the customer with his PO or your salesman submits a customer's order with customer PO, and you create a sales order.  you manually enter the PO in the field for PO in the sales order.  the details of the order are what you enter in the sales order. 
    an alternative is that the customer PO details are first entered in an inquiry or quotation, which are later referenced/copied when you create a sales order.
    that's about all of the details you can get.  however...
    2)  if you use IDOCs or XI in receiving orders from the customer, the XI consultant maps the customer's PO number and targets the PO field in the sales order.  if this is what you do in your project, then the XI consultant can help you with the PO details.

    Create output type---in this select the Transaction medium as (simple mail-7)
    2) while maintaining condition records VV31 check medium field.
    Even if you mail to u r customer discuss with u r abaper for customer  mail server migration.

  • How to send IDoc(Sales Order Confirmation) without Message control

    Hi,
    I need to send Sales Order confirmation,Delivery and Invoice through ALE (IDoc's). I am asked not to use MESSAGE CONTROL or CUSTOM IDoc to send confimation.
    I dont need to send a instant confirmation but i can do it at a specified time intervals.
    Do we have any other possiblity other than the both?
    Can you please give the steps to do, if possible?

  • Reserving the sales order stock for a customer

    Hello SAP gurus !!
    My client is wants to Reserve the stocks once the order is placed or confirmed by the Customers.
    For Example; -- 
    If 10 c/s are available in the plant and a customer has ordered 10 c/s...  next time .. if someone is creating order for the same Material, system should not confirme sales Order as this particular stock has already booked by the  customer.
    Can we MAP this scanario in creating DUMMY sales order??
    I have also tried to move the sales order stock to Reserved Stock by creating Reservations (Tcode MB21) using movement type 412 E.
    but i m not sure whether i m on the right way or wrong??
    Please help me on this particular issue. Points will be rewarded for Helpful answers.

    Actually we have started this particular issue with Product Allocation only.... but the problem with product allocation is : you can not reserve/block the stocks even if it has been allocated to other customers.
    If some other user is creating the sales Order for some other customer, system will confirm and you can do the delivery also.
    Basically Client want to first allocate( here allocation could be through creation of Dummy Sales Order also)  then also want to BLOCK /RESERVE for those customers... so that nobody should be allowed to use those Stocks.
    We have Already tried with:--
    1. Product Allocation
    2. OVZ9 ( checking Group 02/ Sales Order Combination)
    3. MB21 ( creating Reservation with Movement Type 412 E)
    4. Consignment Process
    & some other Options but exact requirement has not been met.
    Now we are trying to solve this Issue using some scenarios Other than Prod Alloc.
    I hope i have clearly explained the requirement still you have any doubts, please revert back.

    New SAP output type ZA23 (with condition logic)for sales order confirmation  is needed to create ORDRSP IDoc when the following 3 cases are true: 1) Item Added, 2) Line Item Changed,3) Item Deleted.
    Changes to existing lines (option 002) can include:
    - qty
    - date
    - price

    Look at the function exits under the enhancement SDEDI001 you have many exits, i think the outbound idoc is primariy created by the function module: IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDRSP.

    Hi,
    After the sales order has been created, an ORDRSP IDoc is automatically created using message control.  This IDoc is sent from the vendor system to the retail system, which means that the outbound IDoc can usually be found in the vendor system and the inbound IDoc in the retail system.
    SAP menu -> Tools -> Business Communication -> IDoc Basis -> WE02 –> Display IDoc.
    Before this you need to complete NACE configuration Part.
    If you want to send the IDocs automatically while creating sales order, you can configure it using message control. The process code will be SD10, which is for sales order confirmation (called as EDI 855).
    Use NACE transaction to create output/message type with program as RSNASTED and form routine as EDI_PROCESSING and configure the condition record for your partner (profile). Also configure the same in your partner profile.

    Customer provide a single order via EDI per Depot.  When the order is received into SAP these are split into multiple order based on the Production or distrubtion location of the products. The customer will receive a number of deliveries to the depot from the various locations.  Each delivery has his own SAP sales order and delivery note.  This creates mutliple invoice against a single Purchase order sent by the customer.
    We have a requirement from two customers that they only wish to receive a single invoice per depot per day.   This means we need to change the way we currently invoice the customers(no multiple invoices needed).We need to be able to combine multiple deliveries with the same PO to a single invoice.  This would mean that the invoice can't be generated until all the deliveries relating to the single PO have been POD flagged or 7 days  have passed from PO date and invoicing is due.
    how to achieve the above,whether through user exit in billing or data transfer routine in copy control(delivery to billing) or through config and how ??

    For generating collective invoice from deliveries, you can customize the copy control (VTFL) as per your need. Please see the copy requirement 004 and data routine 001.

    Hi Sachin,
    You will have to create a new data transfer requirement on the copy control between the delivery and the invoice. In the new data transfer requirement, you will need a programmer to code when there should be an invoice split.

    We are using credit limit check. If the customer has credit issues, the sales order will get retained and the confirmation is lock. The issue is that after the released of the sales order the confirmation is not being unlock and the sales order is not taken into account by the filter of the backorder process.
    Where should I verify that the sales order confirmation field is unlock at the moment of the credit release process?

    Two places you can check in the sales order, click on the document flow button on the top. Then click on status button, expand the header status. Here you can see the credit status. The other place is go to menu Goto -> Header ->status. Here you can see the credit status field carries relevant information.

    Step 1:
    Created one 3rd Party SO for item A - 10 qty.
    Step 2:
    PO is created with reference of PR number (item A- 10 qty).
    Setp 3:
                Again I am changing the SO item A qty from 10 to 20 (i.e. SO value is increased).
                Due Sales order value increase the credit check performed and due to customer credit
                limit the system shown Static Credit Block message (SO  blocked for Credit approval).
    Setp 4:
    I have saved the SO with the Credit Block message (still SO Credit Blocked).
    Issue :
    I have not released the Credit block in SO, Even the system has updated the SO confirmation qty as 20
    and subsequent PR and PO also changed from 10 to 20 qty.

    See, the Credit Management System is designed to work in the SD side & not on the MM side.
    Once PR is created, it is updated every time Tird party Sales Order changed which is basic requirement.
    Once PR is created / updated, system (Credit Management) cannot the creation of PO & subsequent documents. This is becaus Credit Management is desinged to block creation of Sales Order, Delivery Document & PGI & nothing more.
    That is why I suggested you to go to Z-Development & apply a User Exit.
