  • Sales Order not transferring business partner function to GTS

We created a new Quality client and I am doing the necessary configuration to connect it with our GTS Quality client.  We are running GTS 7.2.
To make it easier in the future I've decided to set up a Feeder System Group that we can add Quality clients to and not have to do a lot of configuration each time.  Here are the steps I've done:
    1.  Created a new logical system for the new quality client
    2.  Created a new feeder system group
    3.  Assigned both the new feeder client and the quality GTS client to the feeder system group.
    4.  Assigned the company code and plants to the new feeder system group
    5.  Assigned the partner functions to the feeder system group
    6.  Assigned the sales document types and item categories to the feeder system group.
The new sales document is created and transferred to GTS.   I then go in to display blocked documents and my new sales document shows up.  When I check the log for why it is blocked I get the error "None of the partner functions to be checked are in the document".  This error shows at the line item level for SPL.
When I look at the document that has been transferred to GTS in the Partner tab I see that the Partner was transferred by the field for the partner function is blank/empty.  I believe this is what is causing my problem but I do not understand why that field is not transferring over.
I think I'm missing something in the configuration set up but I cannot figure out what.
    Thank you for any help!
    Tami

    Hi Dave,
I found the logs in SLG1.  I just ran it wide open without the objects and was able to find the information you are talking about.  The error message it is reporting is "None of the partner functions to be checked are in the document."  I looked at the embargo configuration and it's wanting to see these partner functions, AG, RE, RG, WE, EN, etc.  I do have those partner functions mapped and I am using the German ones.
You said that you think there should be a warning telling me why the partner function is not transferring along with the partner.  I'm not seeing that kind of warning, only the fact that the functions aren't in the document.    This is more of a log telling me why the document is blocked.
Is there possibly another log other than SLG1 that would give me different information?  A log showing the transfer of the doc from ECC to GTS?
    Thanks.

  • Sales order not recongnizing customer reco account

    Hi Gurus,
User created Customer without reconciliation account somehow. On that account user created Sales order and in the incomplete log there is error that no GL account is mentioned for that customer.
We have not changed customer master and updated with reconciliation account. Even though there is reconciliation account in customer master, in sales order its still coming up with the error that  no GL account is determined for the customer.
How do we update the sales order with customer GL account? We can not change sold-to-party in the sales order so don't know how system will update information in the background.
    Many thanks

    Hi,
The question is contradictory. Initially you mentioned that customer account doesn't have reconciliation account. Sales order is created and is in the log with error. Later you said the customer account is updated? can you please post it again?
    Thanks

  • Sales Order not Valid During Vendor Clearing

    Hi,
When I'm clearing vendor open items (both normal & special GL transactions) i'm getting an error message "Sales Order not Valid". How do I correct this error?
    Thanks,
    Chaikaru

    Hi ,
As you're saying that the order got saved already with confirmation, you can try re-doing the ATP check on the SO item. If the order item is not present in SCM, system will throw an error with the message "APO: Order Doesn't exist".
You have mentioned that CCR did not detect the inconsistency, have you by any chance selected check box "use VBBE table"?
You can try resending all the Sales Orders to SCM by running Initial Supply (report RIMODINI) for Sales Order Integration Model., monitor the queues in /SAPAPO/CQ. Alternatively, If you're using Inbound queues in SCM, you can only check SMQ2 in SCM and if you're using Outbound queues in ECC, check SMQ1 in ECC to monitor the queus.

  • What setting to mandate that invoice is created based on sales order NOT...

    Hi,everyone
Could you tell me the detailed configuration  to mandate that invoice is created based on sales order NOT delivery documents.
Additionaly, I need to define this rule at headquarter and apply it all lower-level companies.  how to do it.
    thanks you very much

    Dear Humility,
Could you tell me the detailed configuration to mandate that invoice is created based on sales order NOT delivery documents.
This is quite possible through copy control settings between sales order and billing document
In standard billing type F1 will billed with reference to the sales order OR,so you can copy those settings then rename to your document types and itemcategory.
Go to VTFA transaction click n change icon then select billing type F1 and order type OR then click on Copy As icon (F6)and change the document types(maintain your docuemnt types).
    To copy item level settings
Now you come back to initial screen agin you select billing type F1 and order type OR then click on item here you select standard item category then click on Copy as Icon (F6) here you maintain your itemcategory.
Note:- Don't change the satndard settings you just copy
Additionaly, I need to define this rule at headquarter and apply it all lower-level companies. how to do it.
For this you can take help of your BASIS people they will full fill with the roles and authorisation settings.
I hope this will help you,

  • VERSION FIELD FROM SALES ORDER NOT APPEARING IN COOIS REPORT

    DEAR ALL,
I am working on make to order scenario. Version field from sales order not updated when im taking MRP Run for specific Sales order in COOIS Report. But when iam creating production order with T. COde CO08 field getting updated. Its very important to get vrsion field as we have maintain old sales order No. in same. How this problem will get resolved?
    Regards
    Atul

    Atul,
"MRP run" does not normally create production orders, MRP creates Planned orders.  Planned orders do not contain Sales order version.   I have never used this field before, but I would not be surprised if the behavior you are describing is 'standard'.  When you create a production order using CO08, you are creating a 'production order with reference to a Sales order' (which contains Sales Version).  When you create a production order using, say, CO40 or CO41, or using a program such as PPBICO40 in Batch, you are creating a 'production order with reference to a Planned order', (which does not contain version).
If it is imperative that you have the Sales Order version number in all production orders, you could see if Planning Strategy 82 (Assemble to order) production orders contain the data you seek.  Otherwise, I am afraid you will have to have your ABAPers write some custom code to update this field in the production order.
Another way to get sales order data into the production order, that does NOT require custom code, is by using Item Texts in the Sales order.  Any text placed in the Sales Order Item Text Field Production Memo (Text ID 0006) can be configured to be duplicated automatically in the Production order in an MTO environment.  Production Memo then displays as another Tab in CO02.

  • Sales order not shown in MD04 and product view

    Hi All,
Sales order is created, but its not showing in MD04 and RRP3,The material type is X0.
I checked the status of the sales order that is blocked for authorization,Is there any other reason for this.
    Regards,
    Prabhu

    Hi,
In the sales order, please check the item category in the schedule lines.
If the item category is CN, then you cannot see the requirements in MD04.
The item category is determined from the MRP type set in the material master. Since it was ND earlier, the Item category  in the sales order became CN.
Had the sales order been created after changing the MRP type, the Item category would have been CP and you can see the requirements in MD04.
You can change the item category in the schedule line to CP and the requirements will be transferred to MD04.
Once they are in MD04, they would automatically come to RRP3, provided the material exists in the active integration model.

  • Question on Schedule Line category in Sales Order not relevant to MRP

    Hi experts,
I want to know whether the sales order having any schedule line category like CP, CN, etc will not be relevant for MRP. In other words, If I do the MRP run for the Sales Order Requiremnt having any Schedule Line Category in particular will not generate any procurement proposals like Planned order/ Purchase Requisitions. Please advice me on the same.
    Regards
    Brijesh

    Dear Brijesh,
Please find some info related to scheduled lines below,
The various schedule line categories are controlled in different ways:
The schedule line AT in inquiries is used only for information.
No requirements are transferred and no availability check is carried out for the schedule lines BN and CN.
Requirements are transferred and the availability of the material is checked for the schedule lines BP and CP.
No stocks are managed for the schedule line categories BT, CT and CX. No goods issue is posted for the categories BT and CT. However, goods issue is posted for CX.
The schedule line categories BV and CV are controlled in the same manner as the categories BN and CN. However, requirements can be passed on for analysis purposes.
Goods receipt is posted for the schedule line DN in a returns document.
The schedule line categories CN, CP, CT, and CV are relevant for delivery; the other schedule line categories are not.
*Control Elements for Schedule Line Categories
Different schedule line categories are permitted according to the sales document type and item category you are using. You can use control elements to tailor the schedule line categories to meet the special demands of your installation. You can also define new schedule line categories.
    Hope this helps.

  • Creation of A/R Down Payment Invoice  based on Sales Order not logical

When creating a A/R Down Payment Invoice based on a Sales Order you
have the option to create multible ones. Which by itself could be
usefull to create one of 50 % for a certain day and decide they need to
pay another 25 % at a later date.
But SBO does not track what already have been posted. Therefore you can
create a sum more then a 100% without warning or blockage.
    Tested this in SBO 2007 A SP:00 PL:00
    Scenario:
    Sales - AR>Sales Order
Create and post a Sales Order
Sales - AR>A/R Down Payment Invoice
    Create an A/R Down Payment
Select the BP and copy the Sales Order
    Set DPM to 40%
    Post the A/R Down Payment
Sales - AR>A/R Down Payment Invoice
    Create an A/R Down Payment
Select the BP and copy the Sales Order
    Set DPM to 100%
    Post the A/R Down Payment
Sales - AR>A/R Down Payment Invoice
    Create an A/R Down Payment
Select the BP and copy the Sales Order
    Set DPM to 70%
    Post the A/R Down Payment
Making the total for the Sales Order 210% worth of Down Payment
Invoices without warning/blocking. I would expected that you would only
be able to set the rest sum %. For instance first scenario I entered
60% therefore setting the second Down Payment Invoice to a max of 40%
Untill you have used up the 100% and you cannot select the Sales Order
    in question..
If multible users do the same work, SBO doesn't show that it has
already been done. Same if you forgot you already created it you can
still create one. Plus sometimes it will happenyou create the Down
Payment Invoice and not paying attention you create the first one with
a 100% and later with the intended percentage..

    Hello Petronella,
you are right that B1 is not checking the total value of DP created from the Sales Order.
The logic and checking procedure here is only between Sales Order -> Delivery/Invoice.
DP Invoice is considered as transaction related to document the receipt of the money (parallel to the sales process). Between the moment of basing of DP to Sales Order it is still possibility to adjust Sales Order as there is no posting behind Sales Order.
The question is what would be a checking  procedure in case that on Sales Order there is based Delivery and DP? What would be the system priority to take into a consideration?

  • Customer Name on Sales Order not in Data Collections

    Hi,
I am looking for some help. My company just did an upgrade from 11i to R12 in the middle of May. As part of the upgrade we installed ASCP. We have noticed that certain customers are not being collected when running Standard Data Collections. We have open sales orders in the system for the customer. The sales order are being collected properly and appear in the plan. When we show the Customer field in the 'Supply/Demand Screen' in ASCP, the field is blank for select customers. Is there anything on the customer master or sales order line that would prevent the customer name from being collected? Any insight would be helpful.
    Thanks
    Rich

You can go to order organizer screen select the OA NO which you are not able to see in the ASCP workbench, go to line items---using show field get the Demand visible
tab on screen-----default value should be 'Y' if blank then then that could be the one of the reason.

  • Open sales order not getting updated in FD32

    HI
We are configuring Credit management, and found that the open sales orders are not getting updated in FD32.
I have checked all the settings in OVA8 and all are working fine. This is a Static credit check and system is blocking the customer in case, the limit is exceeded. But the values are not getting reflected in FD32, for open sale orders, that are not blocked.
Info structure S066  in OMO1 all are configured perfectly. I have run F.28 and no log was issued.
Request to suggest other reasons for not getting updated in the table.
I have gone thru the previous threads, but cud not find any solution.
    Regards
    Vamsi Javaji.

    Hi Vamsi Javaji
First of all check in OVA8 wheather you have checked Open sales orders feild or not . Secondly check in your pricing procedure wheather you have maintained Subtotal A or not for the Net Value .Also check wheather you have assigned to your sales document type correctly or not  Finally check in OMO1 wheather S066 has been assigned correctly or not
Check wheather you have assigned the Credit control area to the customer in CMR , in sales tab

  • Sale order not consuming sale forecast

    Dear Gurus,
I have created a sale forecast using T-code MD81, 'CusReq" is reflected in MD04...I conduct a planning run and planned orders are generated and subsequent process orders and this stock is now credited to WH stock... But the "CusReq" is not disappearing from MD04, as a result of which When I am creating a  sale order Using VA01, it is only showing available qty in WH as remainder after the MD81 Requirement...
How can I make the sale order consume the sale forecast (CIR) that was created using MD81.??
    Regards
    Sri.
Edited by: srirag nair on Aug 26, 2009 1:34 PM

    Hi,
Customer Indepnedent requirement is a sales order as treated by MRP.
The sales order consumption works with PIR not with Customer requirements.
Further in most cases, consumption means not PIR reduction.
it is consuming the planned orders created for PIR's by allocating to sales orders.
For ex; in a MTS scenario,
    PIR ---1000
    PLanned order 1000
    Sales order 1500
    After MRP
    PIR--1000
    PLanned order 1000
    Planned order 500
    Sales order 1500
PIR reduction from MD04 happens when GI happens for the sales order or GR for Production order depending the Planning strategy.

Can anybody help me out in this regard.
    Thanks in advance.
    Nitin.

    hello, friend.
i will still research the subject.  but the first thing that comes into my mind is t-code VA05.  with this, you have the option to change the Plant en masse.  so a possible workaround is for you to list a number of sales orders using VA05.  you then sort the line items by Plant.  choose all items with the same plant, change the plant via mass change... then change back to the original plant.  hopefully, the new settings should apply.
do test a few sales orders by doing this for a larger scope.
    regards.
