1.FRANCHISE SEND REQUEST TO SALES SUPPORT TEM( ZSM,RSM)
RFQ(request for quotation) document
2.THEY CHECK MONTHLY STOCK AND GIVE CONFIRMATION TO FRANCHISE AFTER GOT CONFIRATION
This RFQ goes through work flow to the correct authorised  user.He checks the stock for this requirement.
3.AND GIVE CONFIRMATION TO FRANCHISE AFTER GOT CONFIRATION
Send the output back to the franchisee(Customer)
4.THE FRANCHESE PEOPLE NEED TO MAKE PAYMENT,ONCE MADE PAYMENT BASED ON PAYMENT RAISE THE SALES ORDER.(
Now the RFQ (Quotation) is converted to sales order andpayment is captured through downpayment functionality.
.(HERE BEFORE RAISE THE SALE ORDER WE NEED TO CHECK THREE POINTS 1. SALES CONFIRAMATION, FINANCIAL PAYMENT, BANK DETAILS
this can be acheived by defaulting the blocks to the sales order hearder level. This blocks has to be removed after checking these points.

  • Sales Process for Packaging material (VERP)

    Hi All,
I have a business requirement to set up the sales process for Packaging materials and the material type is VERP.
But system will not allow me to create Sales order using the same material because material category VERP needs to be added for the Order type OR.
VERP materials not authorized to create sales orders. I think we need toset up new process.
Pls help me if you have any idea about to set up the nbew process.
    Kindly help me..
    Regards,
    SK

    as mentioned earlier,
    1. See to it that the material with Material type VERP has tabs Sales org 1, Sales org 2, Sales:General/ Plant.
This can be configured in OMS2. Maybe already there in standard configuration
    2. In VOV4, assign the item category to your Sales doc type and It cat. gr. VERP
Then in VA01, test by creating a sales order.

  • Sales process for outlets

    Hi friends,
At the point of sale(Pos) say for an outlet where the client doesnt want to keep a sap user and only the sales qty has to be captured so that an invoice can be made for the FI postings.
Also the inventary will be mainationed in sap but since its practically not possible to have a PP module in place for conversion of the raw or semi finshed to the finished goods for sales. If so
    1) How to show the FG goods in sap system?
    2) How to create SO,delivery and invoice?
3)Is there any way to directly covert the raw and semi finished to FG goods which can be used for the sales process.
    Please suggest

    Hi Ajay,
Just to give you an idea......... It may not answer your question in complete but still an idea
Spenser's Retail Limited - Spencer's Daily have gone for Implementation of SAP (IS-Retail).
In that you may not see SAP users, but only those working in the front office will be handling the systems (Bar coding, billing & payments)
    Customer Interfacing Systems
    Bar Coding and Scanners
Point of Sale (POS) systems use scanners and bar coding to identify an item, use pre-stored data to calculate the cost and generate the total bill for a client.
    Payment
Payment through credit cards has become quite widespread and this enables a fast and easy payment process. Electronic cheque conversion, a recent development in this area, processes a cheque electronically by transmitting transaction information to the retailer and consumer's bank.
    Operation Support Systems
    ERP System
Various Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) vendors have developed retail-specific systems which help in integrating all the functions from warehousing to distribution, front and back office store systems and merchandising. An integrated supply chain helps the retailer in maintaining his stocks, getting his supplies on time, preventing stock-outs and thus reducing his costs, while servicing the customer better.

  • Minimum documents required to finish Sales Process for retail Business

    Hello Everybody
This is my 1st post in the forum as per the Rules and Regulations i have searched for the solution may be i was not able to reach to my Answer.
I have been assigned to a project where my client also has  Reatail Outlets where the sales process is done mostly.
My client requirement is, they want to have minimum sales process as there will be many walk-in customers which will not allow them to have complete cycle.
My question is do we need to have sales order-delivery-PGI-Billing can we skip one or two document or is there any other way for Retail Business.
Note: Dear Moderators if my question is not in proper forum please guide me.
    Thanks
    Riyaz Malik

    Hi
The better option is to use IS-Retail, but you need that your system is installed as an IS-Retail. If it's the case, then you can use the invoice FP (see it in VOFA). SAP gives you the IDOC WPUUMS to create this invoice and the PGI (movements 251/252). You need to have create the plant as a POS (point of sale) with tcode WB01/02/03, and in tab 'POS' mantain the data that determines the pricing procedure. The materials, is better to mantain as articles, ie, with tcodes MM41/42/43 instead MM01/02/03, and more details, but of course you need that your system will be an IS-R. If your system is an IS-R see SM30 for view V_TWPIV. So, when your process the IDOC you create the invoice and process the PGI (well, the movements in the profile).
    I hope this helps you

  • CUP 5.3 SP8 - Escalation process for manager approval stage

    Hello,
We have our basic workflow configured that when a request is created by a user, the first stage it goes to is their Manager for approval.
We are running into the scenario; what if a Manager forgets to approve or isn't available or is out of office and can't approve the request? We think we want to setup escalation of some sort but are unsure how to go about it.
The escalation options that we have are:
    No Escalation
    Forward to Next Stage
    Forward to Alternate Approver
    Forward to Admin
Intially, we felt that "Forward to Next Stage" would suffice because Security Admins is our next stage. If the alloted time passed for Managers to approve the request, escalation would move the request to our Security Admins. However, "Forward to Next Stage" is essentially an Approval, meaning Security Admins will get the email saying the request was Approved, not the email saying the request was Escalated. This will cause confusion with our Security Admins; they won't know that the request was in fact escalated because they got an approval email.
We want Security Admins to ultimately get the authority in this instance so they can see that a Manager did not review in time, or is out of office so they can forward the request to a different manager.
Keep in mind, I do understand we can have the Manager setup approval delegation. This doesn't help us however if the manager forgets to set his approver delegator when he leaves the office or really is in the office but is unavailable due to various reasons.
I'm curious about the option "Forward to Alternate Approver." - who is the alternate approver for managers? Is it always the delegate? Is it possible that the alternate approver is the next level up on the HR heirarchy?
Let me know if I need to clarify my issue.
    Thanks!
    Jes Behrens

    Jes,
We have 2 approvers for each role. We defined in the Role Approver Stage that it be routed to the alternate approver should the main approver not respond in the next 3 days (via Forward to Alternate Approver). Bear in mind, once it is escalated to the alternate approver, the main approver will not be able to view/approve the request anymore. If the alternate approver does not approve/reject the request, the request will be left as is.
In our case, we have used the functionality in CUP to pre-define the alternate approver rather than in your case, you would want to only escalate it as and when your Security Admin decides to. I believe if your Security Admin staff has admin rights in CUP, they are able to forward it to another approver via the Administrator tab. Else you can create a new stage to foward to your admin staff if it is not action upon.

  • Freight for Purchase and sales process

    Hi,
I have a scenario where i'll purchase material with Freight charges from the Vendor, Now the same freight charge i'll imposed on customer while billing.
I'll be using same Freight GL account for both purchase and sales process.
I have configured the process by assigning same GL in the account keys in the pricing procedure for Purchase and sales process for the Freight condition.I have tested the scenario and i was very confused.
    Scenario:
i have created a PO and made GR, the accounting entries were,
    Stock account ...........Dr.
    GR/IR................Cr.
    Freight...........Cr.
While performing invoice verification the accounting entries are,
    Vendor.......... Cr.
    GR/IR........ Dr.
    Freight....... Dr.
Accounting entries during Billing to customer,
    Customer.......Dr
    Sales.......Cr.
    Freight......Cr.
    Freight......Dr.
Let say for Purchase and Sales process i have used GL 600016 as Freight account.
IF i have paid Rs 500 for Freight to vendor, then i'll be imposing an amount of Rs 500 to customer as freight charges.
Please guide if i had made any mistake in configuring the process
also please advice is there any way to check the GL balance, like the amount to be collected from customer as freight as i'll be using same GL.
    Regards,
    Rahul

    Hi all ;
SD process is not logical with outcome account 600016. For me , you can collect freight costs a different account for sd .
For sd configurations , you can benefit from belowed path.
    Spro-->SD-->Basic Functions-->Account Assignment/Costing-->Assign G/L Accounts

Kindly do the following Settings :-
    1. Create Sales Order Type in VOV8 and maintain Order Related Billing only with Billing Type as F1.
    2. Use item Category as TAD
    3. Assign Item category in VOV4 with Sales Order Type + LEIS = TAD
    4. Maintain the Same Item Category group in Material Master.

  • Export sales process

Hello, I have configured a export sales process for my client. But they are asking me to modify it in such a way that, in smartform they want all the loading and unloading details. For ex, they are creating sales order and loading goods at bangalore and sending to cochin port by TRUCK, there goods get unloaded and from there they load again to container to ship. Then it is sent to the destination country. How to configure this about unloading at port and again loading from port.
Also please mention the steps to be taken for executing export sales process.
    Thanks in Advance..

    Hi,
In your case apart from the exports process as there is involvement of Transportation activity, we need to determine through which route the goods are sent and how the loading and unloading is taking place. So please configure for route determination referring to following links:

Can anyone explain me the sales and intercompany sales process where materials are excise Duty relevant for Netherlands and Belgium ? That means sales is done via the Netherlands for Netherlands and Belgium ? How are the different tax rates configured for the different countries ?

    HI Garima ,
    Plz check the following steps
    CONFIGURATION SETTINGS
Assign Delivery Plant of the supplying company code to Sales Org + Distribution channel of the Ordering company code in the Enterprise Structure.
DEFINE ORDER TYPES FOR INTERCOMPNY BILLING:
Menu path: IMG/ SD/Billing/Intercompany Billing/Define Order Types for Intercompany billing
    Assign Organizational units by Plant:
Menu Path: IMG/ SD/Billing/Intercompany Billing/Assign Organizational units by Plant.
Define Internal Customer Number By Sales Organization:
Menu Path: IMG/ SD / Billing/ Intercompany Billing/ Define Internal Customer Number By Sales Organization:
Creating / Showing Ordering Sales Organization as Internal Customer for Supplying Company code:
    Transaction Code: XD01
The ordering sales organization is represented as Internal customer of Supplying company code.
We need to create customer master in Account Group - Sold to Party and maintain minimum required financial & Sales Area data.
This internal customer number has to be assigned to the ordering sales organization. Hence, the system automatically picks up this Internal customer number whenever there is Intercompany billing.
In the  above mention configuration steps you are missing  the second step in your confirguration 1.e the reason  your  getting that error

  • Process for cash sale

    Hi,
How does cash sale process work in SAP system?
What happens if cash sale involves delivery which is relevant for picking?
    Thanks

    Dear Jack
Cash sales is an order type for when the customer orders, picks up and pays for the goods immediately. The delivery is processed as soon as the order has been entered. A cash invoice can be printed immediately from the order and billing is related to the order. Receivables do not occur for the customer as they do for rush or standard orders, because the invoice amount is posted directly to a cash account.
In the standard system, sales document type BV is saved for cash sales with immediate delivery type BV.
When the sales employee creates a cash sale, the system automatically proposes the current date as the date for delivery and billing. Once the order has been posted, a delivery with type BV is created immediately in the background and the system prints a document that is used as an invoice for the customer.
The invoice papers are controlled with output type RD03, contained in the output determination procedure for order type BV.
If the customer has already received the goods, this delivery should not be relevant for picking. If the customer is to pick the goods up from a warehouse, the delivery should be relevant for picking. If the goods are to be sent, this can be processed by maintaining the delivery in the usual way.
The system automatically creates a resource-related billing index which updates the billing due list. Billing document BV is created as the system processes the billing due list, but an invoice is not printed.
Once the customer has received the goods and is satisfied with them, the transaction is considered to be complete. We recommend that you post goods issue in the background using a program designed specifically for this purpose. You can then bill the transaction.
The cash sale can only be billed if the order quantity is the same as the goods issue quantity. If this is not the case, you need to adjust the cash sale document so that the delivered quantity and the quantity to be billed match.
You use an order-related collective billing process to bill the cash sale, but an invoice is not printed. The sales order number is used as the reference for the accounting document, created in Financial Accounting.
    thanks

  • Approval Procedures in Sales process

    Hi all
Our client has the procedure of approving quotations via SAP.
However once the quotation is approved, the staff can still change the selling price at the sales order level. (even after copying from quotation)
This defeats the purpose of an approval at the quotation stage.
Can you please improve on the Approval Process so that Sales Order copied from Approved Quotation cannot be amended?
    Kedalene Chong

Thanks for your workaround but I think this restriction in Authorisation may affect other Purchase transactions.

  • GL Reconciliation process in Infomratinca for Financial analytics

    Hi Guys,
I am implementing OBIA Financial Anlytics for the first time, need your valuable input for below issue.
I am trying to understand the GL reconciliation process withing OBIA Fianancial Analytics. As per the document which Oracle has given, I understood that for this process to happen we need GL account mapping to Group_Account_Num (Using file_group_acct_codes_ora.csv, file_group_acct_names.csv, file_grpact_fstmt.csv files).
    According to the configuration guide;
By mapping your GL accounts against the group account numbers and then associating the group account number to a Financial Statement Item code, you have indirectly associated the GL account numbers to Financial Statement Item codes as well. This association is important to perform GL reconciliation and to ensure the subledger data reconciles with GL journal entries.
Also it has given one mapping for Financial Statement Item Codes and Base Fact tables. Now my understanding says, all the detail entries of GL AP should get recorded into to W_AP_XACT_F table, and if it is a GL AR entry it should get recored into W_AP_XACT_F and likewise for COGS, REVENUE, TAX and OTHERS.
But currenly in our system, I can see all the entries (AP, AR, COGS, REVENUE, TAX and OTHERS entries) are there in all detail table (W_AP_XACT_F, W_AR_XACT_F, W_GL_COGS_F, W_GL_REVENUE_F, W_TAX_XACT_F, W_GL_OTHER_F table.
Can anybody knows if this is correct behaviour or I am doing some mistake in the configuration.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Kashi

you need to configure those three files to get the data in to BI and report them.
file_group_acct_codes_ora.csv : you need to pull all your natural GL accounts from EBS and feed them to this file. this file specifies each gl account and its behavior like whether it is a Payable entry or Receivable or Cash or PPE etc. so that you can view the data in payable, receivables etc dashboards with appropriate group totals.
the group codes you define here like AP, AR, CASH, etc must be defined in file_group_acct_names.csv, which is master file for Account groups.
file_group_acct_names.csv: This defines master set of group names you are using in your organization like AP, AR, CASH, PPE etc. these groups intern tagged to a financial statement codes like Revenue, TAX etc. so that you can find what is the total revenue or tax or AP etc for a specific period for a business unit.
file_grpact_fsmt.csv: This a master file containing Financial statement item codes like Revenue, Tax.
    file_group_acct_codes_ora.csv >-- file_group_acct_names.csv >--file_grpact_fsmt.csv
(GL ACC NUM) (GROUP ACC NUM) (FSTMT ITEM CODE)

    Hi,
I have run into the same problem with SOA 11.1.1.5 version. In my case after fixing the following two errors it seems to work fine.
If you have followed the guide, there must be some errors:
First the java code if copied then contains an extra enter value:
    Instead of:
    "try {
    System.out.println("Prototype for invoking an OIM API from a SOA Composite");
System.out.println("RTM Usecase: Self Registration Approval by Organization
    Administrator");"
    Use the following:
    "try {
    System.out.println("Prototype for invoking an OIM API from a SOA Composite");
System.out.println("RTM Usecase: Self Registration Approval by Organization Administrator");"
The other error is that you should not use <BEAHOME>/oracle_common/modules/oracle.jps_11.1.1/jps-manifest.jar, but the <BEAHOME>/oracle_common/modules/oracle.jps_11.1.1/jps-api.jar in jdeveloper. After these the deployment to the application server works fine for me.

  • Post order processing for sales document is not yet complete

    hi,
    sap gurus,
i am facing the error while saving the sales order and this ticket is unique and it is saying that
"post order processing for sales document is not yet complete".
please help me in this regard.
and it is blocking the order for further processing.
    regards,
    balajit

I dont think this is a standard error message.  Some exit is applied for sale order to meet some requirements.  You need to check with your ABAPer.
In fact, you can conclude yourself based on the error message number.  If it starts with Z, then the above holds good.
    thanks
