Sales Quantity in Accounting document
Hello All,
Sales quantity is not appearing/updating in the accounting document for Sales line items. These documents are generated for sales invoices from SD module.
What settings can be done to fetch the quantity details?
I have also checked FSG of sales account, quantity field is optional for this.
Please advice me.

Hi experts,
Found a field named "quantity" in accounting document (after release invoice F2 to accounting). The explanation from the system as following. But I got some questions about that.
Q1: What scenario does this field apply to? Would you pls illustrate it?
Q2: The system configurations are nearly the same for the two different servers. Why only one of them has this field in accounting document, though it shows zero?

Map information from Sales Order to Accounting document
I have a requirement where I need to map the information from the customer material number(VBAP-KDMAT) in the Sales Order to the BSEG-SGTXT field of the accounting document generated for the subsequent billing document billing document created for the sales order. This is an order related billing process.
Any help would be appreciated.

Getting sales region using accounting document and customer no
Hi Forum
I am facing problem in getting exact Sales region for a customer , for which there is accounting document in BSID table.
Actually i am using BSID table for open item against a customer.
Now i also wants the region for which that entry has been done.
Now i am getting region from KNVV table for a customer, but there are multiple record for the same customer.
Now i need to get the exact region for which there is entry in BSID table.

FM for linking deleted sales order and accounting document
Hi there,
I have this scenario:
-I create a sales order and make a certain amount of downpayment.
-At the save of the order, an accounting document is created in BSEG table with reference to this order (BSEG-VBEL2).
-I delete the order that I created in step 1.
-The accounting document still exists in BSEG.
Question:
A direct select on BSEG with vbel2, takes a very long time.
Can anyone suggest a way to improve the performance, or does anyone know of a Fuction Module that I can use?

Con't you use alternative table, Example insted BSEG use BSID and create a index on VBEL2 to improve the performance..

Unable to get the accounting documents in Sales process
Hi All,
While running the Sales Business cycle, accounting documents are not generated for any goods movement i.e. MB1C (561), MB31 (101) and also PGI. But the accounting document is generated while doing the billing. I have checked the settings of OBYC and OMS2.
Please tell me the solution to resolve this.

Rerturns (RE) order Accounting document not cleared
When you do a cash sale (BV) the accounting document that is generated by the billing document is cleared automatically, but when you do a return on the same item, the accounting doculent is not cleared automatically. What do i have to do, and how will i do it, to clear the accounting document that is generated by the billing document for a return (RE) order.

Sale quantity is not updated in COPA report
Dear All
I am using Account based COPA. In the report COGS and the revenue is captured correctly, but the quantity is not coming. While seeing the line items I found that at the time of PGI one line item with +ve quantity is generated and at invoicing one line item with -ve quantity is generated and as a result quantity becomes ZERO. A screenshot is pasted below for the convenience.
Can you please help me in finding the error in my configuration or in report.

I believed till now that, at the time of PGI only COGS value is transfer to COPA and not even sales quantity in accounting based method, but after observing your thread I need to frame my understanding differently now.
OK, since the Sales quantity is transfered to COPA at the time of PGI, why we need to transfer again at the time of billing?
So, my suggestion is why don't you de-assign the quantity field under the billing settings and try? Transaction code KE4M

Accounting Document not released
Hi gurus,
i created a Credit Memo, for a sales order, and accounting document is not cleared, can some body please guide me how i can check and release?
here is the Order Sttus looks like,

If the status is not cleared, there is nothing wrong. It means Customer has not made payment. Once the payment is received it will be cleared. In your case, as it is a Credit Memo, either a payment has to be made to Customer or it has to be adjusted against an invoice. Once that is done it will be cleared.
Check whether the Credit Memo is created with reference to the Original invoice?

Sales order info and quantity in the invoice accounting document
Hi,
When saving the accounting document at sales invoicing time, I do not succeed in retrieving information such as the quantities sold, sales order number,... whereas the field status group for the concerned account is activated (optional) for the field "quantity" and "sales order".
Moreover, there is a field I would to retrieve the net weight that is displayed in the sales invoice, in my accounting document. Is this possible?

Just commit the data base .Generally when we create any data using fm or bapi it wont commit database. Take the fm and sequentially use another fm if you did this from se37. If you did this from report just commit data base. It will commit data base and create a record. Please close the thread if it is answered.

The link between SD and MM :-
1. When you create sales order in SD, all the details of the items are copied from Material master of MM.
2. MRP and availibility check related data is also taken from MM although you control this data in SD also.
3. While you create inbound/outbound delivery with reference to a sales order,the shipping point determination takes place with the help of the loading group, plant data, shipping conditions etc. This also refers to Material Master.
4. The material which you are entering in a sales order must be extended to the sales area of your sales order/customer otherwise you cannot transact with this material.
There are many such links between SD and MM.
Now the link between SD and FI :-
1. Whenever you create a delivery with reference to a sales order, goods movement takes place in the bacgground. eg. In case of standard sales order, you create an outbound goods delivery to the customer.
Here movement 601 takes place. This movement is configured in MM. Also, this movement hits some G/L account in FI. Every such movement of good s hits some G/L account.
2. The accounts posting in FI is done with reference to the billing documents (invoice, debit note, credit note etc) created in SD. Thus this is a link between SD and FI
3. Tax determination: In case of a tax determination also, there is a direct link between SD and MM

How to find out the Accounting document status for sales order

We have created the sales document by referring the billing document of contract no.Aftre that we have raised invoice for sales document. Now system is generated both invoice , accounting document and the value is appearing against the invoice document. However the status against the accounting document is showing as not cleared. I want to know where we could see this status in Table,
Normally we can see the status in FPLT for contracts since its having the billing plan no. Suppose if the billing plan is not available like S.O , How to check the status in table?
I have refered so many tables but not helping. Since i want to get the uncleared value of accouting document.
Please help me.

The accounting document status in the document flow is determined dynamically when you display the document flow,
it's not saved in a specific table.

Accounting Document and Sales Order No
We have an accounting document number. And while putting the document number in FB03, I am getting the entry view of thr document. And while clicking on a particular line item, there is an additional assignment block, in that block there is a field Profit Segement. And in that, there is a field Sales Order. How I can access that value with correspondance to accounting document number. Is there any table, from where I can get that data directly?
I just want to know when we done PGI against sales order it genetrate an acconting document .

Sales group not filled form sales order header in PGI accounting Document
Hi all,
we are creating a sales order . when sold to and ship to is entered the sales group at the header level is fetched from the customer master automatically.
Now after changing the sales group,different from customer master,the sales order got saved as usual with a warning mesaage 'sales group is diiferent from customer master'.
After doing PGI and billing , the sales group fetched in billing document is same as that of sales order header,but when good issue delievry document is displayed , in accounting document of the material document (ie. in FB03),the sales group in profit segment tab is getting filled from customer master.
Now the requirement is to fetch the sales group from sales order header instead of customer master.hi

In sales return process, material was received by Movt.651, credit memo raised, while seeing the document flow the sales return document showing as "being processed" and Accounting documents showing as "not cleared". how to clear the accouting document.
