  How to get Sales Region (KNVV-KVGR1) when i have
  Document No (BSID-BELNR)

If you want to take out the report sales office wise u can u se standard SAP t code : MCTG
In the standarad view u cannot see the sales district in the same report...so u can copy the same program and add ur logic so that u can get ur dsired output.
To create sales region, u can use sales distict field in custmer master field. define in config and maintain it cutomer master. u can use mass or XD99  transaction to update this field in all the customer master record.
below is the menu path to define sales distirict:
IMG>>SD masterdata>>Business partners>>Cusotmers>>>sales>>>define sales districts.

  • Getting sales region using accounting document and customer no

    Hi Forum
    I am facing problem in getting exact Sales region for a customer , for which there is accounting document in BSID table.
    Actually i am using BSID table for open item against a customer.
    Now i also wants the region for which that entry has been done.
    Now i am getting region from KNVV table for a customer, but there are multiple record for the same customer.
    Now i need to get the exact region for which there is entry in BSID table.

  • Customer Master -Sales Region

    Dear SAP Guru's ,
    In my company My client wants to maintain the sales region as follows:
    Its a Pharma company:
    There are various labs
    for a Particular location : Mumbai
    There is 1. Andheri
                2.Borivilli
                3.Churchgate
                  Etc
    I have the option of assigning sales district to the Customer Masters (Such as Mumbai,Thane etc)
    But for the Sub location : Suppose Andheri,Borivilli where can i assign them to the masters.
    As a consolidated report is required based on the : Region
    State : City : area drill down..
    Any suggession how to configure..........

    Dear SD,
              Go to Header data details of the sales order then click on the sales tab (Which is 1st tab in the sequence)there you can able to see the field customer group at right side little bit botom of the screen

    Can you please guide me for Sales Order status report extractors?whether some standard extractors would be used or customized or standard is available which can further be enhanced.
    Scenario is- I have to populate report columns like
    0-25000     25001-50000     50001-100000     100001-200000     200001-500000     500000>
    And analysis has to be shown in the report rows : Sales District. In Columns only number of sales order in each district would be entered as a number. Example- of for district ZMJT there are 3 order are in pending stage having quantities 35000 then entry 3 will come in first column and so on. Following are other columns for drill down purpose.

    A sales office establishes contact between the firm and the regional market.
    sales group
    A organizational unit that performs and is responsible for sales transactions.
    sales district
    A geographical sales district or sales region.
    You can assign customers to a sales district and use the sales district to generate sales statistics.

  • Documentation on Creating Sales Order using Web Services

    hi,
    I can goto ESA Preview system using SAPGUI and create a sales order (using va01 transaction).
    I tried to do the similar thing using the WebService (Create Sales order), but have lots of problems.
    ->Fields used in WebServices are not in sync with what would be if you use the GUI. (example u enter sales region, buyer id, ship address and the items for a standard sales order.
    ->There is not much documentation on what the fields in the webservice mean. (e.g. what is the difference between BuyerParty and BuyerInternalId? )
    ->There are no sample combination of values that work. (Belive me it would take hours to figure out right combination of values needed..)
    Any hints would be appreciated

  • One employee in several Sales Orgs?

    Hello experts,
    We have sales assistants that are sometimes assigned to several Sales Orgs. Unfortunately it looks like in C4C an Employee can only be assigned to one Sales Org.
    Is someone aware of a scoping parameter/question that we missed that would allow us to do this? Or does someone have an idea of a potential work around for that?
    They would need to access My Team's Accounts, My Team's Activities etc. for all teams they are assigned to for their daily jobs. This is why we were trying to assign them to multiple sales orgs.

    As an update, it worked with the Territories even with a higher level, so we could do what we needed.
    The trick was just to use the Recommended restriction view in the Access Restriction of the role assigned to the user and make sure it was properly updated after the background job. Also I put the assistants higher in the Sales Orgs to avoid any conflicts due to the Employee/Manager relationship.
    The Assistants are now associated to a Sales Region (in the territory management part this is one level before the last - Sales Territory), as any Sales Managers, and are associated to multiple Regions.
    They can see all relevant Activities and only those.
    At the same time, due to the Org Structure they can see all Accounts under their Org Struct which is consistent with our rights there as well.
    Bottom line: Territory Management and Org Management are really close when it comes to right management, and in the end they work well together as long as you make sure your access restrictions are set up correctly and that your users' roles are properly updated.

    Our client sells cigarettess. We need to configure a scenario which will cover sales to internal employees of this cigarette company
    Can someone guide me on what needs to be done on master data, sales doc type, pricing etc. Will sale to emplyees be charged to cost centre.
    Will there be any config required  from SAP-HR side ?

    As i understood ur chargeing your own internal employees also
    Create one internal customer(internal employee) one is enough suppose u have different department consuming daily (create sales regions or any specific selection) and while creating  assign it  in sales order   level.
    check with your finance people whether separate cost center is required i think it is required.

    Hello,
    there is a option which you can insert your IO at infoprovider level.
    in RSA1> infoprovider button>right click on your infoarea and say INSER CHARACTERISTIC AS INFOPROVIDER.
    in multiprovide you can select the same characteristic, after you selecting it plese assign the char and keyfigures to populate the required fields data from this info object master data.

  • Settling Rebate through free goods in R/3

    Client is producing halogen and CFL lights for home and office use. Client is making sales through dealers and distributors in market.
    Sales regions are: North, South, East, and West.
    Sales Sub regions: Delhi, UP, Maharashtra, Karnataka, West Bengal and so on.
    Promotional Schemes:
    1)     Monthly:
    a.      Quantity targets are given for month on achieving free goods are given
    b.     No Credit Memo
    c.     For example, on sale of 1000 pcs of 20W CFL in one month, 50 pcs of 15W CFL free.
    d.     Mostly product based schemes as  to promote particular line item
    e.     Different schemes for distributor and dealers (divided on basis of customer group)
    2)     Quarterly:
    a.     Similar to Monthly with difference in time frame which is of quarter
    3)     Secondary (On basis of points)
    a.     For each qualifying product, points are awarded. On accumulation of points free gifts or goods are provided for different level of points
    4)     Annual:
    a.     Annual discount on basis sales amount irrespective of which products sold.
    Key Points:
    1)     All calculations are done on excel sheet using sales report from SAP i.e. to find the qualifying customer.
    2)     Later scheme is settled by creating free of charge sales order in SAP of zero prices.
    3)     Same product can be part of two schemes one on distributor level and other on regional or national level.
    4)     No credit memo is issued to settle schemes.
    Question: Can we map this process through rebates or any way sales such that the schemes can be created and list of qualifying customer is calculated in system itself? Later, it can be settled through free goods rather then credit memo?

  • Maintaining BW authorization data in R/3

    Hi,
    I am faced with a new problem now. My client wants to maintain BW authorization data in R/3 for ease of maintainence. I have used two ODS template for data (value) and (hierarchy) - (0TCT_DS01 and 0TCT_DS02) and have created two data targets for filling in the data and using CSV file for proofing of the concept. My assumption is that if data load from CSV file can execute thte functionality, I can achieve the same thing by extracting data from R/3 also. While generating the profile using RSSM it says that complete authorization data is not maintained. Probably I am not filling in the relevant fields with correct data.
    Can anyone help me with the steps involved in doing this and the fields for which entries are mandatory ? Would highly appreciate the help extended with points.

    My reqmt says I have to restrict viwewing of data at node level. Let me elaborate more.... Users of sales region EAST and users of region WEST may have same profiles but EAST user should be able to see east data and WEST user should be able t0 see only west data. I am able to do this by using RSSM and restricting the view at report level but client wants to do this at a common place and the table needs to be maintained in R/3 ?
    Is my reqmt clear ?

    First of all, yes, I think we are on the same page regarding what I want to do... I have created a master data infoObject in BW, created a customized extractor in R/3 under CO-PA-IO node, and mapped them to each other in BW such that when i execute a package in InfoSource in BW, i am able to load master data text in InfoObject Rev Type in BW. </br></br>
    Kindly explain more on "you should have created the revenue type as a text datasource and loaded the data into the text and not the master data". Do you mean to say that I should have just created a regular datasource (i.e. Flexible Update in any Data Target InfoSource), rather than a direct update of Master Data datasource? </br></br>
    However, if this is what you meant, please remember that for other characteristics such as Sub Product A, B, Product Lines, Sales Region, Business Center etc. (as seen in FS10N tcode per GL), are reflected in ODS per line item, and they are setup as master data. So I was thinking maybe i just missed a step in mapping. </br></br>
    Is this what you meant? My main goal is to be able to have the line items i load in ODS be matched to the particular revenue type for that GL's profit center (seen in FS10N tcode in R/3)</br></br>

  • Some questions on filter

    Hi Experts,
    I have some questions on IP. I am comfortable working with BPS but I dont know how they work in IP.
    1) Suppose we take an example
    I have put filter on some char. say "Sales Region" from values A to D. and now I associate a planning function repost values (with filter) for only A "Sales Region" (So I keep only value A in fields for condition)
    So Question is will sales region B to D will be locked for write access for some other operation ??
    And in BPS there is no concept like locking on basis of filters put on Planning Level and Planning Package right ???
    Entire transactional cube is locked for any other user if some user is running a layout in a particular Planning Area even if filter conditions in Planning Level and Planning Package do not overlap in any other layout on same Info Area ?? m i correct ??
    Ask me if I am not clear in explaining.

    Thank you for your answer. I tried and tested ur BPS answer regarding locking at planning package. It works well.Before I used to restrict at planning level.
    But once I restrict at package and hit "save all" as well as "save modal" and log off the system those filters get removed when I relogin and see the same package. Why is this so ???

  • Pass Multiple Prompt Values Dynamically in a Publication

    Hello
    I have a dynamic list for list for my Publications of a Web Intelligence Document. The dynamic list has the following columns names
    ID
    Name
    Email
    Zone
    and the Web Intelligence document has the columns:
    Zone
    Sales Value
    I can't use Profiles because some of the recipients in the dynamic list do not have a BOE account
    Lets say I use the following values
    ID = 1   
    Name = Sally 
    Email = [email protected]
    Zone = USA
    This works fine and if I change the value of the Zone to another single value, (maybe Sally has been reallocated to a different Sales Region) for example:
    ID = 1   
    Name = Sally 
    Email = [email protected]
    Zone = UK
    then this also works fine and the output from the Publication shows the correct value.
    However, when I try and do the following, I run into problems:
    ID = 1   
    Name = Sally 
    Email = [email protected]
    Zone = USA;UK
    The resultant output is blank!!! The prompt that is in my document that I want to burst is set to optional. I've tried using:
    semicolons: for example USA;UK
    commas: for example USA,UK
    brackets and semicolons: for example (USA;UK)
    brackets and commas: for example (USA,UK)
    but nothing works and the resultant output is empty
    Also, passing in a blank value for the optional prompt to return everything but this does not work either and the resultant output is empty.
    I can't believe that this is not possible and would welcome any suggestions.
