SAP_AbapRun duplicated - SAP Language Step doesn't work

Hi,
I have duplicated "SAP_AbapRun" Job definition to a new one, and when submiting this new Job Definition SAP_Language_STEP (Parameter LANGUAGE) is ignored.
Our Build is: M33.104-74500.
After submit Job in CPS, IN parameter is 'PT' - Portugal but when I go to SM37 is in EN (English) and spool list is in English.
Anyone with the same problem?
Note: With SAP_AbapRun SAP_Language_STEP (Parameter LANGUAGE) works as expected.

Hi Abhishek,
There is no JC in this process. just a JD. This JD was not imported from SAP. It was created directly in CPS system.
Step 1: Duplicate SAP_AbapRun
Step 2: Try to execute an ABAP program with language EN -> OK
Try to execute an ABAP program with language PT -> NOK, it returns the spool in English.
Another test: Executing program without duplicate SAP_AbapRun in both languages, it works as expected.
PT language exists in SAP System.

Check the value of the general.useragent.locale pref on the about:config page and set that value to language code of the version or language pack that you have downloaded (e.g. "nl") if there is still a wrong locale set.

BPF: Re-open Step doesn't work properly

Hi all,
i have 4 steps in bpf and i have 5 data regions (1000,2000,3000,4000,5000) in all steps. In first step for example when users of 1000,2000 and 3000 complete their area they close and approve them. In second step 1000,2000,3000 areas opened to perform. For example when a user of 1000 does re-open step , in first step instead of just 1000, all data regions 1000,2000 and 3000 turns "reopened".
Any idea?

Communication between SAP and subsystem doesn't work (SM58)

Hi,
we have problems to send IDoc's on a sub-system. In SM59 we have tested the connection -> it's ok. In SM58 there are many records which not processed (status: transaction recorded). The system doesn't send the IDoc's not any longer.
Any Idea?

i think u have to set the partner setting in WE20 and set transfer idocs immediately for the partners

I've had this problem for maybe a month or so.
It's not that I can't buy books off of the itunes store, however, whenever I try to search for a book by language it doesn't work anymore. It simply says ''cannot connect to the store''. I tried doing it on both my phone and ipad, but got the same answer. How can I fix this problem?

I'm not sure if I'm understanding but if I am then I'm not sure why you are turning your Wi-Fi off and on. It should automatically connect and use your Wi-Fi when it is available and use your cellular data connection when Wi-Fi is not available. I haven't turned either off ever. SOCO function "Complete Item" doesn't work

We have SRM 5.5
We want to remove positions from SOCO through function "Complete Item".
But at logon under the Ukrainian language function doesn't work. At logon under English language function in SOCO works.
How can it be? And why?

either you need to install the Ukrainian language completely (including supplementation) or if you plan to use the translation workbench for mass translation, you need to translate the texts included in the application you use.
Please note: If you plan to use Translation Workbench (SE63) for mass translation, supplementation in that system should be avoided (see e.g. SAP Note 353852) !

Unicode Input doesn't work with some languages

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the "Languages" Tab
2. Check "Install files for complex..." checkbox
3. Press Apply, Windows may ask you to insert your Windows XP
Installation CD
4. Press on the "Details" button
5. Press the "Add" button
6. Choose the "Armenian" or select item from the first combo
box,
7. Press OK
8. Press the "Language Bar..." button
9. Check the "Show the Language bar on the desktop" checkbox
if it is not checked
Now try to write in Armenian language in the edit box, the
font is Sylfaen which is supporting Armenian.
You will see "?"-s instead of letters.
Now open the Notepad, select the Sylfaen font in
Format->Font menu item, write something in mentioned language,
you will see normal letters,
now copy them and pasete them to the edit box below, you will
see normal text, so, normal input doesn't working, copy-paste is
working.

It looks like the syntax has changed slightly. I verified this works in Mavericks
Here is the new syntax:
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -boolean true
killall Finder
The reverse is
defaults delete com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles
killall Finder

Com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap doesn't work

Hi all,
I needed to change the file 'WinGuiRenderLayer.properties'
I found the par under 3 locations:
d:\usr\sap\SPD\jc00\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\portal\portalapps\com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap
d:\usr\sap\SPD\jc00\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\deployment\pcd
d:\usr\sap\SPD\jc00\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\deployment\temp
I changed the file in those locations (I removed the bak extension and restarted the server).
Also, I made sure that the pars/directory contains the jar files.
After I restarted the server the application integrator iviews doesn't work (Web Dynpro, Transaction...).
Before I did the changes, I backed up the original pars/directory.
Copying the original pars didn't help.
How can I solve this?

Solved it.
This is what I did:
1) Took par from my production environment (same SP level)
2) Clear the par (by using 'Archive Remover')
3) Clear the pcd cache
4) Upload the par (redploy)\
5) Restart the portal

I'm trying to develop an interactive form using NW04 SP22. My problem is that the submit to sap button doesn't work. I think I have not properly installed active component framework (ACF) on my client pc but I can't find the right ACF to install. HT4527 I want to move all my iTunes from old PC to new PC but Home Sharing on both and it works. At Step 11, I clicked Home Sharing Import button doesn't work.

Help! I want to move all my iTunes music, podcasts, etc. from an old PC to a new PC. I set up Home Sharing on both and it works. I followed the steps in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527 to the letter. At Step 11, I clicked on Home Sharing on my new PC, then Edit > Select All so I could then import everything to the new computer. No matter what I try, the Import button doesn't work. There are two buttons on the lower right hand side of the iTunes screen - one for Settings and one for Import. The Settings button is clickable but the Import button isn't even live. In other words, I can see it but not click on it. I have double-checked my firewall and it is not the problem. How can I get the Import button to work?

These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
Note if you have failed to move contacts and calendar items across you should create one dummy entry of each in your new profile and iTunes should merge the existing data from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library or a backup then then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.

Inspector > Text > More > Language
Only applies to selected text, like making it a particular font.
It is not a setting that sticks. If you continue to paste in text from elsewhere particularly the Internet it will have a different or None language set to it. You need to select it and make it B.E.

Check for the latest updates. Installing latest updates should resolve this problem.
Also, try to ran disk repair using safe mode in Mac, for instructions please visit: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH14204
Try enabling root user profile on mac and try to check. OS X Mavericks: Enable and disable the root user

We can't know if there's a "fixture" because we can't examine your phone. But Apple can. Make a Genius Bar appointment and get your phone evaluated.

You may need to try this More than Once... Be sure to Follow ALL the Steps...
Take your time... Pay particular attention to Steps 3 and 4.
Some users have reported as many as 8 or 9 attempts were necessary before success.
After you have Recovered your Device...
Re-Sync your Content or Restore from the most recent Backup...

Language input switching shortcut doesn't work

Hi! I always use command-space to switch between English and Chinese (Cangjie) input (having disabled this shortcut for Spotlight), but all of a sudden it stops working. I know the command key works and the space bar works, but when I press command-space it does nothing. I have to click on the little language flag to switch language. I also tried restarting the mini.
There is also something weird about the Chinese inputting now but I'll ask that in another post.

I've been having a similar problem, but a little more elaborate.
It started with my Finder switching on its own from US (my default) keyboard input to Hebrew. I would just switch back using the shortcut (command+space bar), a shortcut I have been using for years without problems. Now the shortcut is giving me problems, and sometimes doesn't work, as steveappleotp describes.
While in Safari, the shortcut failed to work. I checked my System Preferences for language input and nothing had changed. When I used the mouse to open the language input menu, 3 of the 6 languages were grayed out. But this doesn't happen consistently. All of a sudden everything is okay and I don't know how to recreate the problem.
Thought I would post this here as it's recent and related, but maybe I should start another thread.
