    Hi,
SAP PS has good Integration with PP and FI CO modules. So goes well along the ETO scenario.
The normal process is that Project is created and goes in to design phase , where we design product as per customer's requirement . Design BOM helps in this.Once you design is ready you can generate Production Orders base on MRP generated with reference to Projects.
All the cost including overheads are charged to the Project as actual cost.
These costs are later settled to Cost Center.

  • Which user exit can be use before production order creating?

which user exit can be use before production order creating?
i want to check AFPO data, then show error message before production order creating.
1.i try to use PPCO0001( enhancement when saving the order) to check AFPO data, then show some error message, sap system will generate a abap down error.
2.i try to use PPCO0007(Exit when saving production order),
    i can show error message,but i can't check AFPO's data.

    Hi,
You can access AFPOD structure using field symbols.
Try below mentioned code in routing:
    constants: c_afpod TYPE char30 VALUE '(SAPLCOKO1)AFPOD' .
    FIELD-SYMBOLS: <fs_afpod> TYPE ANY .
    data: wa_afpod TYPE afpod.
    ASSIGN (c_afpod) TO <fs_afpod>.
    wa_afpod = <fs_afpod>.
Then later you can use wa_afpod in exit PPCO0007. Hope this will work for you.

  • List of Components used in Production Order

    Hi ,
I want to report in which I want to pull out all the componets in the production order.I dont want explode the BOM for the day as many components might have been manually added in the productio order and it may not be present in BOM. is there any table or Function module which I can use for the same.
    Thanks ,
    Tausif.

You will get the data in COOIS sap std report
    in which you choose
    List = component list
Or list = object list and in the object list tab page choose component check box.
execute the report with order numner..
you will get all the components.

  • Tables for component batches used in production order

what are the tables where i can the look up the
Component Batches used on a Production Order?
I am developing a report, where i need to input the batch number, and it should give the production orders in which it is used.

one option is MSEG table. PrdOrd ID can be input into MSEG-AUFNR field and this way you get all the goods movements in connection with the order. If your confirmation and backflushing take place at the same time you can use the material document number and check the batches of the components.
Other option may be to use COOIS for components in connection with a PrdOrd / PrdOrds.
(I mean you check in connection with which PrdOrd that certain batch of FG was confirmed and you check the goods movement for thath PrdOrd using COOIS)

  • 501 Mvt type - Can it be used without production order in PP?

    Hello All,
I need an information. Can you movement type 501 (Movement type without order) can be used in PP module?
The descriptioni of 501 movement reads that 'Movement without reference'
My question is can it be used in PP module to make goods receipt withouth production order.
    Appreciate you response on priority.
    Thanks
    Ravi

    Hi,
Not sure what you mean by using in PP module.
Anyways 501 movement is used for GR w/o respect to a purchase order. You can use movement type 521 for GR w/o ref to Production order.
    Hope it clarifies.

  • Where Used in Production System

Where Used in our dev system retrieves a related custom ABAP for able T179. However, when I do the same where used for table T179 in Prod it does not? Anynbody know whats going on?  Thanks.

I found the whole where-used stuff to be somewhat shaky in releases after 4.6C - I'm sure there's a bunch of OSS notes dealing with the topic, although I never looked.
To help it a little, display your custom code in the ABAP Editor, and click on Utilities > Update Navigation Index. The system will then rebuild all the references, and your code will appear in the where-used analysis of the table.

  • How to extract Production Order Variance details to SAP BW?

    Dear all,
I have a requirement to create SAP BW reports to show Production Order Variances in SAP BW.
Need to display Variances by Order, by Cost elements (components).
I am checking transaction KKS1 in SAP ECC 6.0, as the same data is required in BW. But I am trying to find out from where (what tables) can I pick this data, so I can load it to BW and use.
Any details will be very helpful.

  • Report to check open reservations for production orders where GI not posted

    Hi experts,
Can we get reservation details from any report/ table for production order where material has not been issued, report should also display the value of the reserved material.
I could not find desired details in RESB (it has price but not value) and MB25.
Thanks in advance, useful ansers will be rewarded.
    Thnx
    Anand

    Hello Anand,
there is no report but you may use the production order info system with list "components" and create a layout contaning the issued quantity and/or the final issue indicator. With a correct sorting, the list should show all orders with non-issued components at the top.

  • Mass change of Production orders operations in ECC 6.0 using COOIS

    Dear experts,
Kindly Suggest a way to mass change of direct operations and components overview screen of production orders in ECC6.0
using COOIS transaction code which was available in SAP 4.7 using environment >change order> operations or components once we execute the COOIS with certain input parameters in the out put screen, this function seems to be not available in ECC 6.0 , if available kindly guide me or any alternative way to perform the same.
Thanks in advance for your inputs and help..
    Best regards,
    Nitish jain

You have that button "Change Order" you can just click on it and once you're in the change mode of the order click "Component Overview" button , it's the same number of clicks...
Anyway, SAP has changed the entire ALV for all the transaction codes using PPIO_ENTRY (COOIS, CO26, CO27, CO28 et al)
    look at question 12
    https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/540779
if you really want your old GUI status. there is a way to get it back. In SE38 enter the program name PPIO_ENTRY and select variants and click display. Once you're in variants screen enter variant name and click create and select all "screens" check box and then it will take you the selection screen in there check the box "Old ALV Display" in the Technical settings sub screen. (If you want you can choose other functions also like "Selection List" as PPIOM000 Always display components directly etc. if you want ) Click on "Next Screen" button and it will show "Attributes" button then click on the attributes button and save it.
Now go to SE93, make a copy of transaction COOIS to ZOOIS and in the variant field enter the variant you just created. The new transaction will always start with the variant you just created and it will look like your old COOIS with Environment > Change Order > Components will be visible.

  • Re-packaging in Sales Process - Use of Packg Mat. for next production Order

    Dear All,
We will combine 7 diferent products under Semi-finished goods ( that means we no need shipping box, shipping box lable for 7 mentioned products) into one shipping box and we call the last one is MMR Compo-packs. Theoretically, we have to produce 7 diferent products before we combine them into the last one. However, some of 7 diferent products have been keeping in stock under finished goods (FGs).
That means they used the shipping box & shipping box label already so that  we want to unpack these FGs to make the MMR compo-packs and re-used the shipping box & shipping box label for the next production process order.
So, the question like that can we reverse the shipping box & the shipping box label when we convert the FGs to the semi finished goods in system?
Please guide us on the same. Thanks for your help.
    Regards,
    Maheshaa

    Hi,
If in the process of manufacturing and packing the FG you used a production order to consume both the SFG and the box, you could reverse this process by reversing the confirmations/goods movements in the production order (in the case that the orders are still open). This way you get back in stock your SFGs and boxes, just the way you want.
However, if the production orders are closed already, then you need a new production order (special case) to dismantle the FG into SFG and box.

    Mario

  • Sap pp-releasing the production order?

at are the activities carried out while releasing the production order?

    Hi,
    Order Release
    Use
A production order must be released, before it can be processed. You can use the time period between creating and releasing a production order, for example, to carry out company checks and preparations. If you do not require this time period, you can automatically release the production order when it is created (see Automatic Release).
A newly created production order initially receives the status CRTD (created). The following restrictions apply to a production order that has been created:
Confirmations for the order cannot yet be executed.
Shop floor papers cannot be printed.
Goods movements for the order cannot yet be executed.
Releasing the order lifts these restrictions.
    Features
Order release can be executed at the following levels:
With Release at Order Header Level all operations are released. The order and the operations receive the status REL (released).
With Release of an Operation the operation receives the status REL and the order receives the status PREL (partially released). If all operations in an order have been released, the order has the status REL.
    Hope this helps.
Revert if you need more information.
    Regards,
    Tejas

  • Run time error while running BDC for production order creation and confirmation:

    Dear Gurus,
We have a situation, where the users are trying to do the entries creation of order or confirmation (through manual and BDC). But, if there is any kind of a deficit quantities in consumption or GR quantity, then it is going to run time error and Dumps are coming in program SAPLCORB
and the transaction code is coming for CO11N.
How to avoid this error to run the production system in smoothing way...Any flash lights on this will be great full
    Regards,
    Madhu.G

    Hi Madhu,
Expert Caetano has rightly point out. Refer Note 1840705 - RAISE_EXCEPTION short dump if running CO11N in background
    Cause
The short dump is triggered because SAP transaction CO11N contains new GUI elements that cannot always be dealt with in a background process,
    such as the confirmation texts.
    Resolution
SAP recommends that the standard production order BAPIs, such as BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_TT, should be used to post a confirmation in background.
If this is not feasible, the following workaround may be uses:
    Define a confirmation profile in transaction OPK0;
    In the detail areas, remove the area "Confirmation text";
Set this profile as standard, so that it is chosen automatically by the system when a batch-job
    is started;
Assign this confirmation profile to the batch user with transaction SU3 using parameter CORUPROF.
Also see Note 429432 - CO11N: Batch input in background dumps if long text is maintained
Refer to note 1154692 - Endless loop during confirmation in background if you doing Auto GR during confirmations

ZPSFC_PRINT_LAY is designed to print necessary information regarding all operations, including base rate and etc. I modified ZPSFC_PRINT_LAY to include one more piece of information and now I am trying to modify its program that calls all the tables and has created the form itself. I am having difficulty in finding it. The form is not mentioned under nace. I also checked the TNAPR and it is not there. Where do I find a program for sapscript form ZPSFC_PRINT_LAY that is used for Production Order Cover Sheet? PLEASE HELP! THANKS!
