When I see the Visualize Plan for SQLScript it show Create Temp Index at many Places.
It also shows unsupported operator order CS_JOIN over CS_AGGREGATION.
Why does hana create Temp Index and how to get rid of it.

Just browsing for some more information on this operation, and it just happened that my favorite VizPlan expert has chimed in here
I have a scenario where I am using a nested SQLScript based calc view. One view (child view) retrieves a relatively small data set, then the main CV takes that and joins with a bunch of other data from another schema.
When I started out, just the nested portion of (child calc view), takes roughly 800ms to return it's resultset, for which I was pleased. Now, when I added some other joins onto that dataset in the main CV, I am seeing my runtime spike to approximately 16 seconds, with 15 seconds being spent on a "Create Temp Index" process that only results in 12 rows (from what I can see).
Now the question becomes - since I have identified where 95+% of my runtime is being generated, how can I really pinpoint what operation is causing this? I was thinking the ID column (shown in the details) may offer some clues if one knew how to locate the details in a system table somewhere?
Otherwise, all I can see in the VizPlan is that YES there is a long running component, but I have no idea what it might be, therefore can't do anything about it

I downloaded this app, removed it by dragging it to the trash, emptying, and the updates in the app store keep coming for this app. I've read others have had that issue in general. So I figured the heck with it, I'll leave it installed (via the update that wouldn't go away) until apple resolves this issue with the app store. Now, I'm constantly showing this as an update, even though I've downloaded/installed the update.
Is there any way to get rid of this off my local mac to remove all the remaining signs of the program?

I am confused why you keep sending folks on this wild goose chase of deleting this and that when Apple has told folks through Apple Care that at present you cannot delete purchases from the purchases pane of the Mac App Store. This information is not stored on our Macs, it is stored on Apple's servers in conjunction with our iTunes accounts and is permanently there for the time being.
Personal case in point. My personal Mac is a Mac mini. Monday I took it to the AASP here in Monterrey, MX for them to install 8 GB of RAM. After they installed the RAM, the Bluetooth no longer worked, so my wireless KB and MM would not connect. They checked it out and tell me that the wireless card had failed on the BT end so they have ordered a new one from the Apple warehouse in Mexico City and I may get my Mac mini back from them Thursday.
In the mean time I have an Admin account on my iMac used by my roommates. So I am now using the iMac. The Mac App Store has never been used on this Mac and certainly not in my Admin account. Also iTunes has never been used in this Admin account. When I signed into the MAS on this iMac for the first time yesterday there were all my purchased apps made from the Mac mini waiting for me to download and install them on the iMac, including two free ones that I "bought" and subsequently hated and deleted from the Mac mini. They cannot be gotten rid of.
So please stop suggesting this process to folks, it does not work. A number of folks have reported here in the MAS forum that Apple has said that it cannot be done. Can anyone honestly report that they have followed this procedure and been successful?

Hi,
I am trying to figure out how to get rid of the SAP BPC "three globes" startup screen when we start BPC. I do not want it to pop up.
I looked at VBA behind the workbooks but could not find anything. Could not make the sheet invisible.
Is there a way to get rid of the screen? This is the screenshot

OK then, now v7sp03 for microsoft has hit the shelves, you can change the logo !!!
It is quite easy.
Have the logo file ready in either BMP, GIF or JPG format.
Put it in your "Server Install -> DataWebFolders[Appset]" folder (so where you keep your files).
In ApplicationSet parameters, add the parameter COMPANY_LOGO and in the options type the name of the file you just put on the server.
Now if you restart BPC for Excel, the second excel page that pops up should be showing your new logo or graphic (mine did).
The use of the logo has been documented in the admin manual -> working with appset parameters
Some tips.
I wanted not to clutter the filesystem so i put my logo in the appsetpublications folder and added the path accordingly in the parameter (so now it reads appsetpublicationslogoname.jpg instead of just logoname.jpg).
If you do not supply a name (only the parameter), your second Excel window (normally holding the graphic) will not appear. That could be an alternative too if you find that whole thing annoying.

Go to settings>messages>send and receive at>you can be reached by iMessages at> Uncheck your phone number and you can select your Apple ID emal address if you want to use that for messages.

On the MBP, in iTunes, switch to Song view and enable the iCloud Status column by pulling down View > View options and selecting the option for "iCloud Status." Close the small window. Look for any tracks that have a status of "waiting." If you see several of them disable iTunes Match while holding down the Option key. Quit iTunes, wait a few seconds, then open it again and turn iTM back on. Let it compelete the scan. Wait until all tracks that are "waiting" have a status of either "matched" or "uploaded."
On the iPad, turn off iTunes Match then launch the Music app and let the contents clear out. Power cycle the iPad for good measure, then re-enable the service once all the tracks in iTunes have been processed.

If you are in a country where music can be redownloaded then it should show in the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage - that it where you can redownload items (as long as they remain in the store).

No, you will not loose anything. However, if you ever need to update any of that previously purchased content, or re-download it, you will have to use the older AppleID. Purchases are permanently tied to the AppleID you use when making the purchase.

I have recently setup an OS X 10.6.2 Server for our small office. I got the domain name wrong in the initial install and fixed this by doing a complete clean reinstall of OS X 10.6 server (then upgrade to 10.6.2).
The problem is that one of the OS X 10.6.2 clients had been setup to talk to the server prior to the rebuild. Now on this client, I cannot work out how to get rid of or change the automatically created server accounts in iCal and Mail - everytime you login, these are recreated using the old domain name (and of course don't work).
In Mail if you remove the server account (from Accounts in Preferences), it just pops back again. I even removed every trace of the old domain name from the apple.com.mail.plist file but when I re-open Mail that darned server account (with the old domain name) just pops up again.
In iCal its slightly different in that you can remove the account and it stays away while you have iCal open. But as soon as you close and re-open it, that server account just pops up again!
I thought it might be something to do with Kerberos and found a Kerberos file on the client which had the old domain name throughout it - I changed all these references to the new domain name, but still the same behaviour in Mail and iCal.

I have the same problem. Every time that I open iCal on the client a new account is created and an error message shown that I cannot login. I can delete the wrong account in the iCal preferences. However, as soon as I restart, the account and the error message are back.
How do I "unbind" and "rebind" a client? I searched the "Mac OS X Server
Open Directory Administration Version 10.6 Snow Leopard" but the only reference to "binding" seems to be in the context of Active Directory which I don't have.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

This sounds more like a Windows question, than a Firefox question. When you say that an image shows up every time you open your computer, do you mean every time you turn on your computer, or every time you start Firefox?

I am able to open up the organizer without problems, but when I try to open up the photo editor (either by trying to open up the program from the main menu, or right-clicking on a photo in the organizer to edit in elements), the program asks me to sign in to adobe (which I can do and it doesn't give an an "incorrect password" or log-in ID error) then accept the terms and conditions. When I click to accept the terms and conditions, nothing happens and the editor fails to open. Everytime I click on the program, I get this same "loop" of signing in and accepting T&C's, but the program fails to open. Any advice?
