SAP inbox forward to user STATUS 'READY'

Hi Experts
I have chanllenge with workflow item  from SAP Inbox in Production. I am trying to forward the workflow item to any of the  users from SAP Inbox(SBWP) and when i see the forward workitems its in status "READY".
i have checked the workflow ID  in TCODE : SWI1...and shows the status as READY.
i did refresh the buffer SWU_OBUF but the results are same as expliained above.
can pls know...What would be the problem...
Thank you,
pasala.

>But when the user checks his inbox he does not find the workflow item.
Which user? A) The one who sent the item, or B) the one who should have received the item?
If it is the case A, then this is normal. If you forward the work item to someone, it will disappear from sender's inbox. B) If the received doesn't receive the work item (and you are not getting any error message when forwardig), then something is seriously wrong...

Karri

  • Authorization to disable SAP Inbox Forward function for specific Work Items

    Hi.
I recently solved a case for a customer of mine regarding authorizations for work items. They have several workflows running, but for this specific custom developed workflow, users should not be allowed to use the SAP Inbox Forward button.
I started by creating a new task classification (Z_FW) which I implemented on the workflow tasks where the forward functionality should be disabled. Now for test purposes I created a dummy user which I initially gave only authorization to the tcode SBWP, then I manually added the authorization object S_WF_WI.
For this entry I allowed all activities for work item type W and F for classification 1, 2, 3 and NO_CLASS (SAP Standard classification).
Now to my understanding this would give the test user authorization to perform all activities on Work Items and Workflows which are classified with one of the above, but also prevent me from doing anything with Workflows and Work Items with classification Z_FW.
However, to my surprise everything seems to work perfectly with just this entry. I am able to execute and forward work items with the standard classification, while I am able to execute, but not forward, work items with classification Z_FW.
My intention was to add another entry for authorization object S_WF_WI, for classification Z_FW with all activities except forwarding. But when I tried that, the only change was that forwarding was enabled for the work items with classification Z_FW, which I didnu2019t want.
Now can anyone explain to me why this is working? I am not too familiar with SAP Authorization as my area is mainly ABAP and WF, but his just does not seem logical.
Hoping someone can give me an explanation....
    Thanks

Does the standard function not do what you want?
Task -> Additional data -> Agent Assignemt -> Maintain -> Attributes -> Forwarding not allowed.

  • Workitem not received in SAP inbox(SBWP)- In SOST status is waiting

    Hi Experts,

I am sending mail using BOR Object type SELFITEM and method SENDTASKDESCRIPTION.
In SOST , status is in waiting  ( Send method - Remote ).
For Send method - via Internet its working fine . Mail is sent to external mail address. But for Send method Remote send requests are in waiting status.
SAPCONNECT job also getting executed every 5 mins in back ground.
SCOT-RML routing exists with Address area * , Node in use check box i, Node supports : connection test, status, trace , Supported address types - R/3 is checked.
Please let me know any other settings has to be done to send  workitem to SAP inbox.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Priya.

    Hello,
"After executing workflow , I am not getting the workitem in SAP inbox."
You are confusing workitems with emails. SENDTASKDESCRIPTION = email.

  • SAP Inbox - Forward documents

    Hello,
We're executing CATS WorkFlow and everything works ok. This WF sends a message to the user Inbox when the manager rejects the Time Sheet.
We need to forward all therejected messages to the user external email, and this must be done for all the CATS users.
Then... SO16 > Mail sy. grp > and here I click over "Send to home addresses of users". Here I understand that all the documents that will arrive to the SAP user Inbox will be forwarded to the user communication mail (SU01 > Address > E-Mail), right?
If it works fine, I need another thing... I need that just the CATS users have this functionality working; I mean, I need to forward only the CATS messages. Is it possible? Maybe some kind of filter by user in SCOT?
    Thx!
    Miguel.

    Hi,
Create a enhancement spot in the below function module and write the logic to send mail using SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 at the beginning of the FM.
    *CATS_SAVE_CATSDB *
I have done this and working absolutely fine for me.
Check the entries in Table parameters I_CATSDBCOMM of this FM.
Check if time entries for any record is '40' and if true send a rejection notification.

  • Need help on to set User status for Operations in Maintenance order

    Hi experts,
i am new to PM module.
i need to do BDC for IW31. i want to know some inforamtion
on user status for each opertaion.
my problem is ,, what is user status.
why it is saying order is not yet released when saving and status can not set.
in this cases how can i do BDC.

User status are something set in the configuration and specific to the company which SAP hasn't given in the system status.
May be in your system user status are configured to set only  after the release of the order.
For doing the userstatus you may need to release the order, you can release the order thru bdc and then do bdc for user status. Also see below link

  • Get Accept & Reject Buttons only on click of work item in sap inbox

    Hi,
    ALL
    I have a issue.
I have created a form in module pool which has a certain set of feilds. I have placed two buttons in the form namely " Submit " & Update. When ever the submit button is clicked in the form the form which is an attachment goes to the respective approvers for approval.
Issue : I have not placed any Accept or Reject Buttons in the form, I want these buttons to get displayed when the form is displayed in the SAP inbox of the user.
I am not aware of the process, that how the Accept & Reject buttons appear when the form is used for approvals in the workflow.
Can any one suggest me the process, that how do i use these buttons while displaying when the work item is clicked in the users inbox but not when the form is intially filled.
      - The approval or Reject buttons should not get displayed when the user is initially filling up the form.
    -  The Approval or Reject Buttons should be displayed when the work item is clicked in the sap inbox of the user, instead of update & Submit.
On click of the work item - the accept & Reject buttons should be displayed but not the Update & Submit and this should be displayed only when the work item is clicked.
Kindly suggest me the way how to get that ..if possible some peice of  code would also be good.
    Expecting an earlier reply !
    shankar

    Hi Shanky,
You can create two module pool programs for requirement.
One is for trigger the workflow and other one is to get the approval.
For the approval, create a dialog method and call the screen using call transaction.
So at run time when the user clicks the work item it will display the Approver screen. under Approve or Reject button you have to call the function module, SAP_WAPI_COMPLETE_WORKITEM to complete the work item.
    Thanks,
    Viji.

  • Restricting User Status in CRM

    Hi Experts
We have a requirement in SAP CRM to restrict User statuses so that when the CRM Order is in a certain status, no other statuses are visible as a drop-down.
In above screenshot, if status is "Dealer Submitted" the rest of the status should not be displayed.
    Kindly advise.
    Thanks
    Susmita

    Hello Sushmita,
You can use authorization object  B_USERSTAT. With this authorization object you protect the setting or deletion of user status in the general status management of orders, projects, etc.
Authorization codes are created in SPRO --> SAP Customizing Implementation Guide --> Customer Relationship Management --> Transactions --> Basic Settings --> Status Management --> Define Status Authorization Keys
If you assign an authorization code for a certain status, this means that only users who have authorization object B_USERSTAT assigned to one of their roles, and are authorized to 01 (create or generate) for the specified authorization code, will be able to set the status. All other users will not. Hope this input was helpful for you.
    Thanks!

  • Large numbers of workflows appearing in SAP Inbox after system refresh

    Hi all,
We are having an odd issue where after we perform a system refresh of our PR system to QA, a massive number of Business 23,000+ appear in the SAP Inbox of certain users who are registered as agents.
We understand how to delete the workflows but want to understand the process of why they keep appearing, and whether this is a system error or a symptom of a user/batch process during or after the refresh.  The workflows do NOT appear for these users in the PR system.
95% of the notifications are flagged "Error when generating IDoc from MC Document."
I have been reviewing the Workflow wiki but have yet to find anything pertinent yet.
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/HOME/3.Administrationand+Troubleshooting
Any help with this or applicable SAP Notes would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
As the error message, those workitems are generated when system trying to generate IDocs.
And the reasons why all workitems are sent to all users is, the task is marked as general task.
What i would suggest is, select any of those workitem, go to its workflow log & analyze which workflow generates these workitems in what case and proceed accordingly.

  • SAP Inbox to CRM Inbox...

    Hi All,
I created a workflow for CRM Sales and i used SEND MAIL step type in the same to send a notification to a user in CRM Inbox.
But now i am able to see this notification in the SAP Inbox of the user but it is not getting appeared in the CRM Inbox.
So just want to confirm that is this possible to see emails in the CRM Inbox or only the executabe workitems and alerts can be sent in the same.
If anybody has used SEND MAIL step for a CRM Workflow, then please let me know how to check these mails in CRM Inbox.
    Please suggest.
    Regards,
    Guddan

    Hi,
If you have workitem/documents/notification in SBWP then all the thing must be availabe in CRM Box ( UWL ).
If it is not displaying there then please contact Portal Team to fix the problem.
The need to do some configuration or changes are required in XML code.
    Thanks and regards,
