Error while updatig SAP Component Repository in SLD

We are getting the following error while updatig SAP Component
Repository in SLD:
"The import history of the target namespace could not be determined".
We are in the middle of updating SAP CR in SLD from version 2.0 to
version 3.0.
Before updating CR this morning, our 'model version' was 1.4.31 and
CR Content Version (sld/active):No versioned CR imports detected was
defined.
I imported the Model version 1.5.20 using 'cimsap1418_0-10003379.zip'
and while importing the delta 'CRDELTA1418_0-10003379.zip', we are
getting the above mentioned error.
Pls help us to resolve this problem as we took the shutdown time from
business to update the CR in XPD server.

To upgrade from SAP MASTER DATA FOR SLD 2.0 to SAP CR CONTENT UP TO 2007 (technical version is 3.0), you are required to perform the following steps:
1. Import the last delta from 2.0. This comprises model 1.5.20 (cimsap1418_...zip) and the content delta (CRDelta1418_...zip). Before you import the new model, check the parameter RejectUnsupportedCIMQualifiers and the existing model version. Proceed according to Note 907897.
In 6.40 and 7. 0 Support Package 0 - Support Package 9, the import of the model (file cimsap....zip) takes 30-60 minutes. As of Release 7.0 Support Package 10, the import requires less than 1 minute.
2. You can obtain the next update from SAP CR CONTENT UP TO 2007 (3.0).

Files are missing in the /usr/sap/interfaces/SID directory

Please help on this.
We have move the system to another host af4ho133, after moving, the files in the directory /usr/sap/interfaces/SID are now missing. The Daily loads jobs got failed due to unable to access the files placed in AL11. All the files are placed in old path(Host),In the changed host no files were placed.
Please extend your assistance.

If you move the all the files from one one host to another host, it does not work, you need to use the system copy

SAP Interface

Hello,
Need some guidelines regarding SAP Interface.
Iu2019m an Oracle Developer u2013 all the applications are developed using Oracle Form Designer and Reporter thru PL/SQL language. Most of the applications we develop are for the Banking Industry.
I have a requirement in which I need to build an interface from my Oracle Application to SAP. My Oracle Application is my own and therefore customizable.
Iu2019ve read a bit about BAPI and JCo u2013 but is still undecided on which is the u201Cbestu201D approach.
Or if thereu2019s any other approach, kindly let me know.
The application (Banking) requires real-time posting of data from front-end (Oracle) to back-end (SAP).
If possible, kindly provide me with some guideline.

Quite honestly, I have no idea. This is the SAP ABAP developers forum. I'm not sure what needs to be done in Oracle to call a BAPI.
You might want to search on the Oracle web sites or reach to your Oracle sales rep. I know Microsoft has a lot of info on their web site (they're "friends" with SAP apparently). Or, better yet, go talk to the SAP developers for the system you'll connect to. Maybe they have a completely different view on this.

I had developed and deployed the SAP PS - Primavera Interface in one of my projects. We had developed it using an ABAP program. I hope i answer all your questions to your satisfaction.
1. what are the Prerequisites?
I dont think there is any need for some major prerequisites other than the version of the Primavera software you are using. In our case we had used Primavera version P6. Find out from your business owner as to what all data he needs to upload or download using this interface. You can modify your ABAP program likewise.
2. How it works - means how data will get transferred from primaver to SAP?
a) The data between project structures will be mapped one to one basis. Ex. Project in SAP PS is mapped to Project in Primavera, WBS Elements in SAP PS will be mapped to WBS in Primavera, and Activity data in SAP PS is mapped as Activities in Primavera.
b) Frequency of data transfer will be weekly or Monthly. Every time data is exported from SAP PS to Primavera, new project will be created in Primavera.
c) Data will be transferred from SAP PS to Primavera in Batch mode and with manual intervention.
d) Data will be transferred from SAP PS in Comma Separated (.CSV) File format.
e) Primavera users will access MS-Excel interface to import data from CSV file in Primavera. MS-Excel will have a Macro written in Visual Basic Application (VBA) which will be initiated by user for data transfer.
f) Primavera Software Development Kit (SDK) will be used for transferring data in Primavera.

I may not be able to comment on the cost part since this interface was internally developed by our team. This interface is successfully being used by our organization as a reusable component in various projects, thus reducing the efforts considerably.

Using fragment library with SAP MIME repository?

I am new here so I hope I'm posting this in the right place.
We use Adobe LiveCycle Designer as part of the SAP Interactive Forms product. We want to use the fragment library but I am unclear how that will work unless we can connect to the SAP MIME Repository.
Does anyone here have any experience with making this work?
Also ... is there any online resource (other than SAP's SDN) with specific help documentation for using LiveCycle Designer ES with SAP?
We are on SAP Netweaver 7.01 and LiveCycle Designer 8.1.

Thank you for the prompt. I was going to get to it ...
Actually I did not find a way to use the fragment library with referenced objects. By 'referenced" we would mean to be able to change the object in the library and all referencing items would be updated. We did NOT find how to do that.
What we did find, that is still useful to us, and probably anyone working in a development team, is that we could create the library in a shared location and store common fragments there. To use the fragments, go to the library, drag the fragment from the library to your form layout, then 'convert to embedded object' (I think this is on the right click menu, Fragments> convert to embedded object).
This way you still get the benefit of consistency amongst forms using the same element, and only having to develop each element once.

Hi,
I want to create a new HTML template and make an entry in the table WWWDATA. For that I want to view the existing templates.
1) SAP Help mentions something called the SAP Web Repository. How do I access it (which transaction).
2)Also once I create a new template will an entry be made in WWWDATA and WWWPARAMS table.
3)Can I use this template directly in code using function module WWW_GET_SCRIPT_AND_HTML?

The problem is with the CR Content version which is on 9.0 patch level and I see patch levels 12 and 13 available on SMP

SFDC-SAP Interfaces

Hi
I am working on SFDC-SAP interfaces, in this i am having the interfaces like Sales Order creation and Sales Order Modification Interfaces. when i will create the SO it is working fine. when i am trying to do the Sales Order Modification it is showing the red flag in outbound status in the moni, but it is not showing any error, but sales order is not modifying.
Pls suggest me how can i solve this problem.

In SM58 status is nothing was selected
any search criteria was included?
From IDX5 also you can check the status in SM58 .....check if that shows you some error.

Hi Emmett,
I am assuming you are referring to the Interface Repository action block. That action block was based upon the IFR which was depricated and removed over two years ago. That action block will not work (and should also be depricated and removed). Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Interface Repository problems with idl2ir

I am trying to build an Interface repository using idl2ir on Solaris with WLE 6.1. I get an error stating the object could not be found and the following question: Has the osagent been started? Here is a copy of the output:

For the .jpr file, one possible scenario is that the .rvi file in the same directory as the project has somehow become corrupt or incorrect. This file stores information about the mapping between the filesystem and Repository, and also has a cache of the current state (checked in or checked out) of each file in the directory. The cleanest and simplest way to resolve this is to remove all the files from your local filesystem, delete the mapping from the RON, re-create it and synchronize.
As for the .~java files, this is a bit of "strangeness" in the RON's navigator UI. Because you have mapped folders in Repository to folders in the filesystem, the RON will display files that are in mapped filesystem folders under their corresponding Repository folder in its navigator. These files aren't actually in the Repository. The RON indicates this by making them a slightly different shade of blue from checked in files:
Checked out files are black with a check
Checked in files are a cyan-blue color
Unversioned files are black with no check
Filesystem files in mapped folders are a pastel-blue color
