Satellite L855-13G - cannot use the Webclaim service

Hello,
I bought a Toshiba Satellite L855-13G (PSKACE-04Y00CFR) in France last year but this computer is already causing me troubles!
The graphic card is making noise, one of the USB port is not working and now, without any software change, the computer shut down after displaying a blue screen with "KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR".
This blue screen comes randomly (let us say about two or three times per day).
I would like to send this computer for reparation but now I discover something very weird: Toshiba has done all the possible to hide L855-13G!
First of all no result on the website:

Second, the model is not listed in the support center:

When I enter the serial number: no result. Also using the "Ou slectionnez votre produit" the model is not listed.
Third, and best, I cannot access the Warranty claim service for a Toshiba product for this computer: when I go on https://weblord.toshiba-tro.de/Webclaim/ and I fill the serial number, the computer is identified (alleluia), I have a green tick for Warranty status and "Your product is still in the warranty period."
But then, I cannot click on next and a mention "Product not available: Unfortunately your product is currently not available" is displayed instead.
So... apparently Toshiba is doing is best in order to forget about the Toshiba Satellite L855-13G but for the persons unlucky enough to have buy one what are the next steps?
I would like to be contacted by someone from Toshiba in order to get an answer, or a proposal to change my computer or at least to repair it!

First of all I would like to provide you some inforamtions about this community.
This is an user to user community where you could meant Toshiba enthusiasts. You will not find any Toshiba people here
Now some details regarding the notebook fix:
In case your notebooks hardware started to malfunction, you could contact the Toshiba authorized service provider in your country in order to fix the hardware problems.
Here on this Toshiba ASP page you could find all ASPs available worldwide:

Last but not least you should know that warranty covers only the hardware problems.
So in case the notebook does not work properly due to some software issues, the warranty would not cover the costs. Therefore I would recommend you to recover the notebook back to factory settings BEFORE you would contact the ASP.
I hope this info helps a little bit.

    I read somewhere in the internet that the AMD Dynamic Switchable feature is not supported on Toshiba notebooks.
    It seems that only nVidia Optimus Technology (for notebooks with nVidia graphic chip) is supported.

  • Satellite A100 - I cannot use the Lexmark X3330 printer

    I have a Lexmark X3330 printer that is set as default however I can't print to it. The Pdf doc seems ok and recognises the printer but just does nothing when you press "print".
    All drivers have been updated - any suggestions?

    Make also sure that the printer is not in offline mode.
    Check this in printer and faxes => right click on the printer => open => printer => remove the mark from Use printer offline.
    Check the manufactures website for a driver update.

    The basic setting on these models is that the special functions on the [F1]-[F12] keys are used without [FN].
    So for example activating / deactivating the touchpad is done from [F5] (not [FN] [F5])
    It is also possible to change this behaviour. Setting the Function-keys to traditional mode in the BIOS will revert back to the keys used along with [FN].
    So activating / deactivating the touchpad in traditional function key mode, requires [FN] [F5].
    So be sure to check your function key behavoiur - if you have set it to use [FN] first or not.
    And keep in mind that in case the current mode is not what you want, you may change it.

    First, you do not have a 3G if you could upgrade it to 6.1.3, because 4.2.1 is the last version that will work on the 3G. So you either have a 3GS or you somehow hacked the phone to install an incompatible version. You can check the model you have by entering your serial number here: https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do
    Assuming you have a 3GS the most likely reason for your problem is you have a gray market phone that was hacked or jailbroken to unlock it. When you upgraded it you removed the hack, so the phone is now locked to its original carrier.

    The services you listed in your post will require a data plan which is provisioned by your wireless provider. You may want to contact your wireless provider to see if you have the correct plan.

  • IDM / Cannot load the email service provider

    Good day, I'm having same problem here on IDM 11g,
    When I try to "Reset Password" for user from Identity Manager - Delegated Administration
    I use the following "Manually change the Password"
    and I select "E-mail the new password to the user."
    I get the following error "An error occurred while changing the user password. Cannot load the email service provider".
    IDM changes the password "The password has been changed successfully." but still no email sent
    When I use other option "Auto-generate the Password (Randomly generated)" no email is also sent.
    Can you please help with this issue?

    Create an IT resource of type mail server. Name of IT resource should be same as specified in system pripert XL.MailServer. Bydefault its name is Email Server. Provide your mail server details in IT resource.
    Authentication      yes
    Server Name      <ip address of your mail system>
    User Login      <user login>
    User Password <password>
    After doing this, reset password of user, who's profile has email address.
    Check if this works.

    hi experts,
    I created a ReservedIP in North Central US. IF i deploy a project containing below config on anexisting Cloud
    Service in North Central US it gives error.

          </ReservedIPs>
        </AddressAssignments>
      </NetworkConfiguration>
    it is throwing this error after uploading to the portal
    "The deployment cannot use the ReservedIP name that belongs to a region."
    But then if i try creating a new cloud service from scratch and deploying it works fine. Can you let us know what might be the issue with the old cloud service. The old Cloud service also shows North Central US

    Hi,
    As far as I know, the reserved IP is belong to azure IP space, You can enable all azure services to access your database (which whitelists the whole azure IP space, essentially), if you set azure service to true, I think it is unnecessary to set allow IP
    address.

  • Nokia Connection Manager - Cannot use the connecti...

    Can someone PLEASE try and help me
    I have the following details:
    Phone: Nokia C5;
    Operating system: Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2
    Nokia PC Suite: Version 7.1.60.0
    I cannot use bluetooth & USB connection. When I try to select it in the Connection Manager I get an error message "  Cannot use the connection type. Check that all the needed hardware, software and drivers are available. (Code: OpenMedia) ". I have tried to reinstall nokia pc suite but no result.  The connection worked before. The PC Suite of my computer was upgraded and now the bluetooth & usb are not working any more.
    Please Help Me

    I am not sure whether this will solve your problem but you could try this once.
    1. Disconnect your phone from PC if connected.
    2 .Open Control Panel and go to ‘Programs and Features’
    3. From the list of available programs, choose ‘Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver’
    4. Click on the ‘Change’ button on top toolbar.
    5. In the setup dialog box that pops up next, choose ‘Repair’ and select ok. Wait for setup to complete.
    6. Restart the computer if prompted.
    7. Now connect your phone to the PC. Driver installation should complete and PC/Ovi suite (hopefully) should detect your mobile properly now.

    I have problems while trying to connect to my phone via Bluetooth. It shows the following error: Cannot use the connection type.
    In the PC Suite I go to Manage Conections and I see two bluetooth interfaces:
    - Bluetooth(Microsoft) THIS IS ENABLED
    - Bluetooth(Toshiba)
    When I try to disable the Microsoft driver and enable the Toshiba driver it show the error: CANOT USE THE CONNECTION TYPE (CODE: OPENMEDIA)

  • Why am I getting error "The deployment cannot use the VirtualNetwork MyProjectVN that belongs to a region."?

    I have a Virtual Network configured in Azure with Site-2-Site VPN, it works fine and connects to our on premise VPN network.
    I have a web role that I would like to deploy into this VN. I have two cloud configurations, DEV and TEST, both are deployed to their own designated cloud service instance.
    Previously, only the DEV configuration was published to the VN, and it worked properly without any problems. However, today I also wanted to publish the TEST environment into the VN, but I get the error message "The deployment cannot use the VirtualNetwork
    MyProjectVN that belongs to a region.".
    What can be the reason for this? I didn't choose any regions when setting up the VN, and both cloud service instances are in the North Europe location.

    Based on my research, I haven't found any related official documents indicate this kind of difference between Staging and Production. Accroding to the error message, you can create a virtual network within an affinity group to see if the issue persists.

    I keep getting an error after closing Lightoom "Lightroom cannot use the Catalog named "Lightroom 5" because it is not writable and cannot be opened"
    Eventually I have been able to regain acess only to have it happen again, it is happening every day now.  I have tried shutting down services and programs, sometimes it works. I have restarted my computer, I have deleted previews.lrdat and that worked once, but not always.  I have saved and optimised the catalog, still happens.  there is no journal file open or in existence when this error happens and finally, now I have lost my publish services which represent the record of hudreds, even thousands of online images.  HELP

    Have you checked the permissions on the folder where the catalog is stored and the permissions on the catalog file itself? Does it show write permission or something else?
    And just a wild shot in the dark, you should also check to see if the catalog file or its folder is shown as Read Only by your operating system (It should not be)

    I use UCM 10gR3.
    I am wondering if it is possible to use the CHECKIN_NEW service by just entering a url into the http path. I was checking the postCheckInStandard() function that is being called when the user is clicking the checkin button in the ucm administration webpage. All it does is checking the input values and setting the IdcService to "CHECKIN_NEW" and then submitting the form. So from my understanding I should also be able to use the CHECKIN_NEW service in my browser url which would make a GET request instead of a POST request.
    So what I did was that I entered the following URL in my browser
    http://<serverName>/<instanceName>/idcplg?IdcService=CHECKIN_NEW&dDocType=Picture&dDocTitle=TestCheckin&dDocAuthor=http_checkin&dSecurityGroup=Secure&primaryFile=C:/Work/Chrysanthemum.jpg&IsJava=1Why is this not working? Is this not working because the input type of the primaryFile is 'file' instead of 'text'?

    You should see some sort of error on either the page or Server Output or Server logs. That would help narrow this down.
    From the Services Guide:
    If you attempt to set the author (dDocAuthor) to someone other than the currently
    logged in user, you must have Admin permission to the security attributes being
    assigned to the document.
    If the content uses entity security, the user must have at least Write permission
    granted by the entities, unless the user has Admin rights to the security group
    being assigned to the document.
    The most likely error is when the content item was not properly defined.
    This service executes the subservice CHECKIN_NEW_SUB. This subservice
    checks in a new content item revision.
    Additional Required Service Parameters
    dDocName: The Content ID for the content item. If Content ID auto generation is enabled, this parameter is not required. If dDocName is defined, it overrides the auto generated Content ID. The Content ID cannot contain spaces or invalid characters ;/ \?:@&=+"#%<>*~|[ ].
    dDocAuthor: The content item author (contributor).
    dDocTitle: The content item title.
    dDocType: The content item Type.
    dSecurityGroup: The security group such as Public or Secure.
