hi,
I have a form.it was designed by adobe livecycle. but when it is opened by reader and add new row in the trable and insert data in the row of the table I am only able to save the form with data only 3 default raw. but the additional raw is not saved. if I save it and open it again it willshow only the 3 rows and additional rows are vanished. how can I save the additional raw with inserted data?

Make sure you activated "Automatically" to preserve the changes to your form when it's saved.

How to save the selected row number to NSUserDefaults

I am trying to save the indexpath.row of the selected row to NSUserDefaults temporarily until my detail view controller can load its UITextFields based on which row is tapped. First of all is this good? I chose this design because the detail view controller cannot access the master view controller so I can't find out which row its tapped. Sql loader how import a file with save the actual row number in a db field

how can i save the row number for each row in a file into a database field i the same table with the sql loader (sqlldr)?
test data:
john doe
joe meier
table:
name surname line_number_in_file
john doe 1
joe meier 2
and so on ... an if an line is discarded because it is empty for example it should be as this:
test data:
john doe
joe meier
table:
name surname line_number_in_file
john doe 1
joe meier 3

This allows the sequence of inserts to be preserved despite data errors. When you correct the rejected data and reinsert it, you can manually set the columns to agree with the sequence."
also if you read multiple lines and they inserted in
the wrong order the number from the sequence is not
the line number...what do you mean with "reading multiple lines and wrong order?"

How to save the modified rows in jspx page usind adf default commit action

We are displaying some columns of the database table in jspx page. Here we are using adf commit action to save these values to database which is updating all the rows by default. In this page there are some editable columns which the user can miodify. How can we update only these modified rows using default adf commit action. Also we want to update last_updated_date column of that particular row which is modified in the UI from backing bean .
Can anyone please help us in solving this.

A key question - what are you using for the model layer (ADF Business Components, JPA, EJB, etc)?
How are you determining that a "commit" action is updating rows (even those which haven't changed)?
If you are using ADF Business Components - have a read in the documentation about history columns - the use case you describe (updating the last_udpdated_date column) is supported "out-of-the-box" for this.

I have a problem that appear only when a lot of users are running at the same time
that I have an editable form that have save button some times when I press save the current row that I edit is changed or return null row.
for example imagine that I edit employee that has Id = 50 when a lot of users running on the application at the same time when I press save the record changed to another employee that has id = 49 or returns empty form

ADDITIONAL ROW INSTANCES PROBLEM

I am creating a form and I have the following issue:
I have a dropdown list and a user can select one of two options. When the user selects one of the options, it populates the values for other dropdown lists that are within a row. I have created a button to add intances of the row and the issue is that the values are only populating on the dropdown list located in the first row and not on the additional rows created when the "Add Row" button is clicked. The PDF form is attached.

Thank you for your suggenstion regarding the submit button. I tried your suggestion but what you suggested requires that the person submitting the form have a desktop mail application (eg. outlook) or save it and then emailing it. I am not sure if it is possible to do this using javascript, but I am looking for a way to have the form submitted without requiring the user to have an email address. I was able to accomplish this in an excel form using visual basic. below is the code I used in visual basic:

Need help in SQL Query: Update a row in a table & insert the same row into another table

I want to update a row in a table say Table A and the updated row should be inserted into another table say Table B. I need to do it in a single SQL query and i don't want to do it in PL/SQL with triggers. And i tried with MERGE statement but its working with this scenario. (Note: I'm using Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0).

Using Sven's code as an example, you could save the updated row in a sql plus variable. (also untested):

I am working on free goods N:N senario which is not supported by sap standard.
so we have decided to club all the material on the basis of material group and PSTYV = 'tann' in the table control of va01 and at the end of tann we have to display the free goods .The user exit is USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_KOMP.
Please help in in adding the additional row in table control of va01 (TCTRL_U_ERF_AUFTRAG).
Even i have gone through all the thread in sdn and tried all the solution but none of the solution is working .

Are you adding condition records, or adding free materials to VBAP? If free materials to VBAP, you're in the wrong exit, I think....look for routines that allow you to add to internal table XVBAP in includes named like MV45AFZ*, and remember to set you UPDKZ to 'I'-insert if you're adding new rows.
Not sure what you mean by not supported by SAP standard; SAP does support free goods, via config!

Can't catch the matrix row for Deleting Rows

Hi,
I've already read related topics but couldn't solve the problem.
I catch the Delete Row menu event 1293, but then I can't save the deleted row in an array since it's no longer listed as a selected row.
All the matrix rows return
oMatrix.IsRowSelected(i) = False after catching that 1293 event.
Trying BeforeAction True or false didn't solve that problem.
What am I missing ?

it sounds like a bug.
here is workaround: in oMatrix-itempress event try to store selected rowIndex in your variable - so, when you catch 1293-menuEvent you'll know which row you should save - it'll be value of your variable.

Please clarify what you mean by "resetting" the phone. When you reset the phone, no data is deleted. Do you actually mean Restore the phone? See the User Guide, Appendix B for the correct terminology,

IXMLDOMDocumentPtr save method is saving the z:row tags in single row.

When i am trying to create a IXMLDOMDocumentPtr and using appendchild populating the domdocument object and finally saving it to the xmlfile the appended rows comes in a single row if we open in notepad.

If you don't need your old custom template, save your changes with the same template name. It will tell you that this template exists and will ask you Replace? Say yes (if you do want to replace the old with the new!)
To delete unwanted templates, go to Finder > Menu > Go and press the option key. Your Library will show in the Go Menu. Navigate to Library > Application Support > iWork > Numbers > Templates > My Templates.
Delete any unwanted template by dragging it to the Trash or click on it then command-delete.
Having gone to all that trouble to find My Templates folder, right click (or control click) on it and Make Alias. Drag the Alias to any convenient place for a quick way to get back to that folder.

You can do that with individual pdf files using Adobe Acrobat to set the security.
In Acrobat go to File>Properties>Security. Choose password security as the security method then choose "restrict editing and printing of the document..." and under "Changes allowed" choose "Filling in form fields and signing existing signature fields".

It works, but it repopulates the same row each time, but i want to be able to display multiple records at the same time, a new row should be filled for
each click of the fillby button.
also I want to be able to delete any records if the customer suddenly decides to not buy an item after it has already been entered.
so actually 2 questions here:
1. how to populate a new row for each click of the fillby button
2. how to delete records from data grid view after an item has been entered

Hello,
The FillBy method loads data according to what the results are from the SELECT statement, so if there is one row then you get one row in the DataGridView, have two rows then two rows show up.
Some examples
Form load populates our dataset with all data as it was defined with a plain SELECT statement. Button1 loads via a query I created after the fact to filter on a column, the next button adds a new row to the existing data. When adding a new row it is appended
to the current data displayed and the primary key is a negative value but the new key is shown after pressing the save button on the BindingNavigator or there are other ways to get the new key by manually adding the row to the backend table bypassing the Adapter.
The following article with code shows this but does not address adapters.
Conceptually speaking the code in the second code block shows how to get the new key
