Save wavefromgraph data of format [f0,df & magnitude)into TDMS file

How to save Wavefrom Graph data into TDMS file including fo & df along with the magintude.
I am able to save magnitude alone which is not correct ,coz i have f0 & df also needs to be saved in order to calculate some values
pls see the below image which shows the i/p format to the wavefrom graph. Also pls do the needful help. .

hi,
in component controller create a method save, on that read the node that containing the user name and password into itab using the code wizard.now write code to insert itab to the dbtable of ur choice. save the method and activate .
now go to ur view, create a button.. on action of that call the method in the comp_controller.

Date o/p probelm when download into flat file inf110 tcode in fi

hi,
when im create payment transaction in f110 tcode in fi , and selct the record and down load into flat file
in flat file first line it shows run date same as we given in transaction,but in second line it shows same date as before
but it shows different date example : firstline it shows 12 .10.2008 and second line 12.10.2008 is right o/p.
         but it shows as first line 12.10.2008,and seconde line 6.10.2008. why it show like that.

As per my understanding you have an issue with the date while downloading it into the Flat file.
It is displaying the incorrect date in the second line in Flat file.
Are you downloading the data in Notepad or in the Excel sheet?
Can you please elaborate the issue, if it is in Excel sheet then check if it is displaying multiple records for the same date.
Ex :
                    Date                   Records
             12 .10.2008             ad
                                         fg
                                         as
             6.10.2008               we
                                        af

Writing data from two different acquisition rates into one file

Hi,
I'm using a compactRIO, and I have an anemometer outputting data at 4Hz to the serial port on the controller, and I am using a 9237 module to read strain from two channels at 40Hz. I would like to record all this data in one file, but I'm unsure how to have the data points match up with respect to time since they are read at different rates. Basically I have 10 strain data points for every one anemometer data point, but that one data point needs to somehow be associated with the other 10 read in the same amount of time. It would be okay to "extend" the slower data to the 10 strain points, and likewise to the next ten when the anemometer refreshes its values.

If each data acquisition loop enqueues data to one file writing loop the data is writen in order. Queues are really a good way to multiplex data sources

I am having some issues about a program that i made which puts the content of any table in a file that i created.
The problem is when my table (transparent table) has a deep data type in it (example : a string field, so with undefined length).
Here is my code :

Sandra is correct I agree with him,
TRANSFER dobj TO dset [LENGTH len]
                      [NO END OF LINE].
dobj must be character-type . Use String.
Please read the F1 help for the TRANSFER Statement and also please check the example
In your case assign the <fs> to Casting File asfollows
DATA: file TYPE string VALUE `flights.dat`,
      wa TYPE spfli.
FIELD-SYMBOLS TYPE x.
ASSIGN wa TO CASTING.
TRANSFER TO file.

Save triggered data from 2 modules

I am using SignalExpress (3.0) with USB cDAQ-9172, a NI9203 current and NI9201 voltage module. After Acquiring data (continuously), I am using a software trigger on the 9203 current signal to analyze and save the triggered data (collected from all 8 channels on 9203). However, I am not able to save the data from 9201 voltage module? It looks like the software trigger only accepts a single module input (I think). As shown in the attachment "trigger Input.jpg" I can only select 1 module as the input for the software trigger (either the current module or the voltage module)
Is there any way to trigger on a single channel and then save data from both modules?

Hey Ryan!
You can actually do all of this in one DAQmx Acquire step. There is a tab in the Acquire step where you can specify your triggering. Then there is a recording options tab up at the top where you can choose to save your data when the logging starts to a TDMS file that can be read in excel.

Save waveform data with corresponding time array to spreadsheet file

Hello to all
I am looking for a possibility to save voltage data acquired and displayed continousely to a spreadsheet file. Acquiring and displaying is not a big problem, but I have troubble to save the data with the corresponding timestamp with more than seconds accuracy. I am acquiring the data at 1000 Hz and read packages of 500 samples. The recording time should not be limited, it will be started and stopped manually. In fact the acquired voltage data first has to be scaled and than saved. If I use the 'WRITE WAVEFORM TO SPREADSHEET' VI the time column is in seconds' accuracy and that is not what I need. If I create my own time array from the waveform parameters I have timing problems. The accuracy in time should reflect the sample rate. I will attach one of my not very successful trials for better understanding.
please help a newcomer!

I usually follow a simple method to generate time stamp
I keep sampling rate and number of samples to read as equal and do as shown in the attached VI
I also remember building a VI with a small modification to this time stamp generation logic to cater to acq, where number of samples to read is half/one fourth/one tenth of sampling rate specified, but cannot find that VI.

You need to copy everything form your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer to your new one.
The iphone is not a storage/backup device. it simply mirrors the selected content of the computer to which it is synced.

A string that can be displayed as both ASCII and hex in an indicator will only save the data to a file in ASCII format

We can see the data in an indicator just fine, but when we try to write that string of hexadecimal data to a file, it will only save the data in ASCII format.
This sounds fairly simple, as the indicator can be selected to display the data in several different formats (VI>Properties>Appearance>Display Style: Normal, Backslash...., Hexadecimal). However, I have been unable, as of yet, to save the data in different formats.

Your question makes no sense since that VI does not have any TDMS file functions. You are also creating a header in the text file but not according to what you say you want the column names to be.

Hi,
If your data is in an array, the easiest way is to use the ArrayToFile function.
It automatically creates a file and puts your data in it according to the format you provide.
If you have individual samples that you need to write once in a while, you can either collect them into an array and then use ArrayToFile or open a file with fopen and write them as they are acquired with fwrite.

It sounds like the iPod's storage has data corruption. You may be able to treat it like an external drive and use data recovery software on it, but it probably won't work because the system is telling you that the drive needs to be formatted before it is recognized.
If the problem is data corruption and there is no hardware-related problem on the iPod's hard drive, a Restore should fix the problem. But this will obviously erase the iPod's hard drive.
