I have adobe reader installed and still I cant read o fill out my necessary application due to it keeps telling to install the program. How do read o even fill out my application?

Adobe Flash Player says not installed when it is.
Adobe Flash Player shows as installed on the primary Admin account (and works there) all other Admin and regular user accounts say it isn't installed.
I have tried installing as various users and Administrator status, but I get the same response.

I am new to MAC, but can't fathom how this could be Apples fault. Unfortunately, Adobe support requires Adobe Flash Player to access help content.To find the folder I went to Finder > Library > Internet Plug-ins.
The folder is empty and says 0 files. I am not currently on an Admin log-in, but I'm used to files showing regardless. When installing, I am asked for the Admin account and log in info before the file will load.
I downloaded the latest flash player from Adobe this morning.
Virtual Drive: What I am used to being an installation file in Windows shows up as a disk drive icon on my desktop. I have to "eject disk" to get rid of it. I thought it was just a "MAC" thing. Other software loaded this way, but also had me drag an icon to the Applications folder. Adobe does not.
I am starting to wonder if there is a file sharing issue that isn't allowing me to see some software. I noticed I also do not see data in 'Public' when I know I added pictures there in another account. I can't remember changing any settings on my MBA. I have only had it a month and have been afraid of messing up my first MAC.

Yeah, it was purchased in August 2008. I'm not really sure what a charge cycle is, but I do plug it in and unplug it a lot to a power source. Mainly because I keep my computer on most of the time (either on or on sleep). So between taking it to classes and stuff, I'll recharge in between and when it's really low, otherwise I run it off the battery most of the time.

The macbook reads a disc, and opens up DVD player but then says not permitted when I hit play, or any other button. Sometimes the initial music plays, but the screen remains black and then it all stops. These are shop bought DVD's that have previously worked on here, and work in DVD players, but have suddenly stopped. The computer is much older than the12 months warantee so I hope there is an easy fix? Thankyou!
Three things you can try:
1. Clean the superdrive with a proprietory CD/DVD lens cleaner that uses tiny brushes.
2. Perform an SMC reset:

Do you mean the AC wall adapter or the cable when you say "charger"? Neither is a charger; the charger is built into the phone. You need to do some basic troubleshooting. First, try a different cable with the same AC adapter. Then try a different USB source such as the USB port on your computer. If you get the same message after both tests the problem lies in the phone. The most common cause of this message is dirt, moisture or pocket lint in the lightning connector on the bottom of the phone. Inspect it with a bright light and clean it with a plastic or wood toothpick. If none of these steps resolve the problem take the phone, cable and adapter to an Apple store for diagnosis. My 10.6.8 macbook pro's DVD player won't play a movie from Netflix. The DVD does play on a 10.5 mb pro. So DVD is ok. Message says "not permitted" when I click play. Is there a compatibility issue? Or something else?

When the DVD is in the drive (and DVD players is open) click on File>get disk info.

Sometimes all it takes is a restart - quit iTunes, restart your Mac and restart your iPad and see if that helps at all.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. -
Drives say "not installed" in RAID Admin on lower controller
hi all,
I'm trying to re-establish connection to an Xserve RAID which has been in storage for some time. I can see all the drives and the RAID array and its data on the upper controller no problem (using RAID admin). However the three drives on the lower controller all show a red status light, and RAID Admin actually says "not installed" for each of the three drives.
Its critical i get access to the data on these drives. Its very unlikely all three drives experienced a complete failure at the same time so don't even show up as inserted into the Xserve - does this sound like a faulty controller?
what can i do to confirm the problem, and does anyone have any suggestions for resolving it wthin the Xserve RAID and/or otherwise getting access to the data?
could I plug another empty drive i know is working into a spare bay on the lower controller and if it doesnt show up as present in RAID Admin assume that the controller is definately faulty?
if the controller is faulty, is there any way of replacing the controller and installing the three discs and getting back access to them?
I'm no Apple expert, any help appreciated.

If you want to test the controller the easiest way is to turn the unit off, unplug it, swap the controllers and start it up again. The fan, power and controller units are completely part swappable so that should be pretty easy.

Howeever it says the same thing when i try to download from the app store. I have lost my itunes library after updating it. Have tried uninstalling/reinstalling it and it gets so far then tells me that it cannot be installed because MSVCR80.dll is not installed on my pc. I have no idea what this is and have googled it, followed links to sites that say they can fix it, only for them to scan, tell me I have 3 thousand issues and then want me to pay $30 dollars to fix it for me. This message also appears on firing up my pc too.

When you go to Manage Storage, does it have something at the top like "19.1 GB of 25 GB available"? I only have a Mail account with 5.3 GB in it and a Backups account with 553 MB in it. Obviously, these don't add up to 19.1 GB. There was no change in any of these numbers when I deleted all the same files you mention. With the free Mobile Me storage expiring next month, this is something I'm pretty concerned about.
