Scales in quotes or sales orders

Hello all,
It looks like if i go in VA01 to create a sales order and put qty 1, the system shows me the "next scale qty" in the "next scale" column.(ex.: 10)
If i save this quote or order and come back to it later, either in change or display mode, the scale has "0".
We need this "next scale" qty to show up all the time in case customers call back and we want to challenge them.
Thanks for your help !

Hi
Please consult with you technical consultant.
From functional side, you have provide which all fields you want from third party software like Customer number, material number, any text, dates etc.
After identifing the fields from third party software, give a mapping of those fields to SAP, like customer number to KNA1-KUNNR, MARA-MATNR. But if you are creating SO directly then customer to VBAK-KUNNR etc.
3rd step to create SO, use BAPI_SALES_ORDER_CREATE and BAPI_SALES_ORDER_CHANGE to create and change your sales order from interface.
rest technical team will do.

    Hi Forum,
Is there a way to automatically create a Quote or Sales Order from a a Service Call?

    Hi Manuel Roman,
Service Call is mainly used for after sale support. If you want to have Sales Quote or Order created automatically, you need Sales Opportunity model.

  • Manual discounts are not getting copied from Quote to Sales order

    Hello All,
If I assign a manual discount to any item in Quotation document, this condition type with its discount amount is not getting
copied over to Sales order document, I have selected the drop down "D Copy all conditions" in the copy control for item categories,
and both quote & Sales order use the same pricing procedure, i am i missing something here?
    I appreciate your help
    thanks
    Chandu

    Hi Chandu,
Please try to adopt the standard pricing type in the copy control between QT and OR which is "A - Copy Pricing components Unchanged and redetermine Scales".
    Please share the outcome.

  • Sales Quote and Sales Order for Service Module.

    Hi All,
I have a scenario with one of the customer where they have a Service Department. The customer is into installation and servicing of Air conditioning systems.
The scenario is as mentioned below:
Customer does the installation of Air Conditioning work and then provides service to the same, if contract mentioned that service is also to be provided by same team. There are also times when the customer quotes only for Servicing of the Air Conditioning in the Projects where the installation is not done by them, but a third party. In such case the customer sends his Sales Quotation for taking up the Servicing of the Air Conditioning (AMC for a year), to be provided to the principle client. If he wins the opportunity then the same will be transferred to Sales Order.
Now in SAP Business One the Service Module starts only with Service Contract and Service Warranty Templates. This is considering that the equipments are delivered by the Contractor him self. This scenario is fine.
But for equipments which are not delivered by the customer, then manual Customer Equipment Card can be prepared and then service contract created to it. But here there is a disconnect between the Quotation that they send to principle and attaching the Sales Order, if the Service Bid is won by Customer. If i need to keep a reference as to which Sales Order was received by Customer from Principle in Service Contract, there is no provision for same.
Is there any way i can do it other than creating a UDF and linking the sales order number to Service Contract and not developing any screens for same?
    Require all your valuable inputs..
    Regards
    Rohan S. Kamble

    Hi Rohan........
There is no such standard field in Service Contract to attach Sales Order. You can create UDF else you can have FMS and map it to remark field.
And when you copy it to service call you can attach the same SO at Activity level or it will be attached automatically as yiu are defining it into the service contract.........

  • Manual price change control from quote to sales order

    Dear Gurus,
I'm currently investigating possibility of config for the following requirement.
    1. Sales person creates quotation (VA21) and performs manual pricing changes accordingly.
    2. Quotation is saved with 'blocked' status automatically.
    3. Quotation 'blocked' status is removed upon approval.
    4. Sales order is created with reference to quote and all pricing is copied but changes must NOT be possible.
I have configured steps 1 to 3 but am now a little stuck on step 4. Since the quotaion document and the sales order document share the same pricing procedure (ie same condition types), how can I allow manual price changes in the quotation but not in the sales order?
Many thanks in advance for any helpful tips!
       -Alvin

    hey sorry,
You can do by requirment in pricing procedure of sale sorder
change condition type from no possible manually to manual has priority.
next in requirment in pricing proedure, use below logic in your routine.
    form kobed_XXX.
      sy-subrc = 4.
      if komp-kposn ne 0.
check: komp-kznep eq 'X'.   "no price change, no manually entered
                                           "price
      endif.
      sy-subrc = 0.
    endform.
    Prestep
    form kobev_020.
      sy-subrc = 0.
    endform.

  • OIC: How does the projected commission work in quoting? Does it migrated from Quoting to Sales Order? Is there any documentation available?

We are working in a project where they need to calculate commission "on the fly" according to the princing discount they gave to the customer on a quote (Oracle Quoting). As once confirmed the quote turn into a sales order in OM we would like to know if it (project commission) migrate to the sales order.?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Calamulus wrote:I completely agree; my confusion arises from the fact that the wiki has forever stated that the ondemand governor works like the conservative one by adjusting the frequency between all speeds available
It does. But like litemotiv says, it only does so for brief moments. Because most of the time it's more beneficial to switch to highest freq, so the job is done as fast as possible, allowing to cpu to go to idle as soon as possible.
Calamulus wrote:This can mislead users into thinking (like I did for about 3 years, if it turns out the wiki is mistaken) that by selecting ondemand they get the functionality that is actually offered by conservative instead.
It is the same functionality. It's just that ondemand is better at it. Conservative was only created for some buggy amd processors which had trouble with fast switching, so it shouldn't be used. Unless you have one of those old amd processors of course.

  • Quote and Sales Order BOM Explosion

We are attempting to utilize a ETO process without PS.  We create a sales quotation and begin to build a quote BOM (using type 1 production) and a Routing for the entered quotation.  Eventually we decide to create a sales order with reference to the quote.  We copy the quote, we copy the quote BOM (type 1 production) to create a sales order BOM (type 1 Production) and copy the quote routing to create a sales order routing.  We however make a few additions/changes to the Sales order BOM.  When we run MRP for the sales order the system pulls the quote BOM not the sales order BOM.
If we slightly adjusted this proccess and create a costing BOM (type 6) at the quote rather than the production BOM (type 1) and again create a sales order with reference to the quote copying the costing BOM to create a sales order type 1 production BOM MRP says no BOM is found.  We believe that MRP should pull the sales order BOM rather than the quote BOM if both are type 1 but most certainly believe that if the quote only has a costing BOM and the sales order has a production BOM MRP should recognize it and utilize it.  This does not happen.  Any thoughts?

    Thanks Piyush.
I have already gone through that. All my questions I have alredy put here .. Could you please care to have a look at it..

  • Copying TLD from Sales Quote to Sales Order

    Hi SAP experts,
We would like to copy the Trailing LD value at the item level, from a Sales Quotation to a Sales Order...when a Sales Order is created in reference to the quote.
VBAP-ZZTRLD on the Quotation...to VBAP-ZZTRLD on the Sales Order item level.
From my understanding, it will begin with VTAA...
Just looking for some guidance and information on the next steps.
Thank you very much in advance.

    Hi Srinu,
    Yes, sir.
The value for Trailing LD (either at the Header or Item level) is not getting copied over from the Sales Quotation to the Sales Order when creating the Sales Order in reference to the Quote.
I just did one example VTAA change to test...and not working
I even selected 'Complete Reference' checkbox, but still not copying the values in ZZTRLD from the quote to the sales order.
Thank you for your time and help.

  • Query to determine sales quote and sales order

    Hi
I am working on User exits.Whenever a sales quote or a sales order is saved the user exit USEREXIT_SAVE_DOC_PREPARE  gets triggered.I need to check whether a sales quote is being saved or a sales order is being saved.
Can anyone tell me where i can find whether the save operation of sales quote or the save operation of  the sales order has triggered the user exit.

    Hi,
Check for the field VBTYP of XVBAK or YVBAK structure, if it is 'C" then it is Sales Order,if it is 'B', then quotation.

  • Changing quantities in sales order with reference to quotation

    Hi,
Quotation has been created for Product -- A, 10 quantities.
Sales order created with reference to quotation, system copies 10 quantity in sales order.
How do you restrict in sales order end user should not change quantities, system should not allow for changes by end user. If end user changes Qty system should give an "Error message", so that sales can not be saved.
    Could you suggest solution ASAP.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards,
    vamsi.

Normally You will have a warning message set for this. under class V1. if you want the error to be hard error then you would have to hard code it in a user exit under mv45afzz "userexit_save_document_prepare" where u can check if the quantities in the quote and sales order are different and create a hard error.
the other option which I am not sure if it is possible is to propose the eror in message class v4 which you can control thru customisation under SPRO>SD>message settings
    reward points if it helps

  • Copy closed or cancelled sales quotation to sales order

    2007A SP0 PL49
It is possible to copy a closed/cancelled sales quotation to a sales order. It is also possible to copy to sales order several times. What is the reason for this? Has this always been the way it works?

Yes it's possible and been around since we started with SAP 2005A. We use sales quotes extensively and treat them like standing orders.  We have customers that order the same items over and over daily/weekly, and rather than have to key in those sales orders over and over we use the document generation wizard to copy sales quotes to sales orders based on UDF we have added.
If you want closed sales quotes to be blocked from adding to a subsequent document I am sure this can be done with stored procedures.

  • Need to raise a restriction that user can not put multiple PO references in PO Number field in Sales Order.

    Hi,
reference to subject we need a restriction that user can not put different PO reference within an Order. One Sale Order should have one PO reference at Header and Line's of the sales order. Currently what is our issue that all the sales order are created by Quotes from quoting module. Whatever the line items come from quotes into sales order having no PO Number reference with them but when user completing the sales order user puts the PO reference at Sales Order Header which can not be linked or passed on those line items who captured from quotation. Due to this PO reference value difference between Lines and Header system generates multiple AR invoices based on unique PO Number references within an order.
we need single PO reference per sales order. How can we restrict this if line level PO number reference is different from Header PO number reference that user can not proceed further?

    Dear Zakir,
Thanks a lot for your favorable response. The query is solved now by defaulting rules.

  • Sales Order in reference to Quotation

    Hi expert,
I must to create a sales order in reference to a quatation.
When I select the item, the system give me the open quantity.
My problem is that I have a difference between the "Open quantity" and the real quantity of quotation.
The offer is not related to any other document.
The only thing is that in the creation of the quotation for customer we has been changed several times this quantity.
    My question is:
    1) Can you explain to me same possile reason?
    2) Can I have the table where the system take the "Open quantity". I want to find the reason of this different. In particular the reason because the system don't update the quantity.
    Many thanks

  • COPY_DOCUMENT functionality in ACTIONS for sales order

    Hi experts,
I need to create a follow on document (that is from Quote to sales order).
The triggering point would be Status change and after some validation.
For example whenever status changed i need to do some  validation and if validation successful then need to create a sales order as a follow-up.
As I know we can call custom class which will create a sales order.
And i want to know is there any Standard functionality that can be used for above mentioned scenario.
For example can we use COPY_DOCUMENT functionality in ACTIONS?
if so then how this functionality can be used for creation of follow-up document in my scenario
    thanks

    Hi,
We faced similar issues with the action assignment block: refresh didn't work very well until we applied a couple of OSS notes (though this wasn't limited to one business role in particular)... so you'd better check on service.sap.com/notes if you don't find anything in application area CRM-BF-ACI that could be implemented in your system.
As far as I'm concerned, I think this one was pretty useful:
