Scared of CC

Not sure is I am in the right forum for this
As a long time Adobe user CC scares me...
I live in a country without decent internet....
Adobe has already demonstrated in Australia that pricing can go up and down as it sees fit ...always to the detriment of customers
A lot of the world is still in an economical downturn ...$600 per year is not a saving...it is a considerable increase for many
$600 per year will quickly move to $1000.... (I have just noticed in my country I can only get the team version???)
Once adobe determines which programs are popular an additional cost tier will be introduced to pay for that product
once you move over to a subscription based service you are addicted... if you give up subscription you can no longer edit projects ....if you own a version ...you can always go back to a project without activation issues...
As for not providing updates and bug fixes that is just unconscionable
Adobes thinking here is that of a monopoly.... it will start forcing the independent free lancer to look elsewhere ... it will encourage pirating..... and in places where internet is not assured guarantee creative discrimination.. for non profits and groups fighting political oppression a subscription based services could really limit there freedom of speech.... if you cant connect to the internet ..how can you produce content?
Adobe please think hard about this

The problem with what Adobe has done is not the "phone home" thing, its the hidden cost in the subscription and they way it puts their customers on the hook for endless costs.  Let's be clear folks, this isn't really about the "cloud".  This is about a fundamental shift from producing a product we bought, to a service we rent.  References to the cloud by Adobe are just marketing hype.
The bottom line is this, you are now forced to rent their software as though it were a service rather than buying a licensed copy as a product.  For some, the subscription might allow them to use Adobe products because they can afford the monthly subscription but balked at the higher cost of buying the software.  However, as I've said before, in the long run the subscription will end up costing the user MORE, not less.  For those of us using Adobe products professionally (and seriously, who else but professionals needs this kind of software), the cost was less of a problem.
I don't have a problem with them offering the subscription option, when it was just that... an option.  Had Adobe chosen to offer both, we wouldn't be here expressing concern, anger and outrage.  What I object to is that we can no longer buy a copy of the software as we have in the past.  That puts us pretty much at the mercy of whatever Adobe decides to charge for the "service".  It makes it harder for me to manage my costs as a freelance artist, a cost I cannot realistically pass on to my clients so I get stuck making less money while a company that reported $4.1 billion in earnings for 2012 gets richer.  This isn't about the cloud, it isn't about a revolution in software.  Its about corporate greed plain and simple.
Frankly I think Adobe execs need to get their heads out of the "cloud" and reconnect with reality.  I need a product, not a service.  I need one time costs I can manage, not an umbilical cord that raises my costs and without offering me any real benefit.  This move comes at a time when many of us are still recovering from bad economies in the US and Europe.  What I need right now is stability, not sudden change.  I want software I can count on, not software that stops working if I can't pay the subscription this month because the economy is bad again.  Two years ago I was in exactly that position, for awhile I couldn't even afford internet service because of the economy and loss of income.  I managed to work my way out of it because I did have software that worked regardless, so I was able to keep working and earning money when and where I could.  Eventually I got back on my feet and am doing better now, not great, but the bills are paid.   Meanwhile a bunch of overpaid execs are sitting at a conference bragging about how great this is for them and lying to the rest of us about how great it will be for us.  Its bull, this change won't benefit me at all and if things get tight again it would mean I'd have no software to use to earn a living... I'd be flat out of business.  That means I can no longer rely on Adobe, which means I won't be using their "services" at all in the future.  I need a PRODUCT that I can count on and unfortunately Adobe has chosen to no longer be a source for that.
What's more interesting is that it isn't actually a monthly subscription, its an annual contract that costs about 50% of what the software originally did to purchase outright.  Why does Adobe think such an annual contract is a good thing to move towards when you look at cellphone companys that are moving away from contracts because customers hate them.  Has it not occurred to Adobe that once people start really figuring out what they've done, that they'll now have to buy into an annual contract for rental software the outrage we're seeing right now might be just the tip of the iceberg of the reaction later on?
Adobe exec's need to stop sitting around congratulating themselves about how they are now "part of the cloud" and how this is going to help people "share creativity".  I don't SHARE my creativity, I SELL it to make a living.  I'm not using Adobe products to make collages of family photos and upload them to Facebook or Photobucket (the later has free built in tools for that anyway).  I used professional software to do professional work in order to earn a living.  No I wasn't getting rich, but for many of us life isn't about getting rich its about doing what we enjoy and keeping the bills paid.  Maybe Adobe forgot that's who many of us actually are, I'd say most, of us who have bought their products and supported their company for years.
It was fun while it lasted Adobe, sorry you decided to forget the customer base on who's loyalty you built your company.  Good luck with your "cloud".  As for myself, I'll be taking my future software needs and budget elsewhere to a provider that actually gets that I need a product I can depend on, not a "rental service" dependant on subscriptions and cloud connections.  That may well mean turning to software that doesn't provide all the professional tools I've been used to having, which will make my job harder.  But I'd rather deal with that and know that once I buy the software it will continue to work when I need it regardless of the internet, the cloud, or my finances; than deal with a subscription umbilical cord that if cut would literally put me out of work with no way to recover.

  • My laptop scared me to death while running a game !! please HELP!!?

    Hi everyone
I have a Lenovo G580 laptop with a 4GB ram and an Intel Core i3-3120M procersor with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.
And a NVIDIA GE-FORCE Graphic card with a 1696 MB of memory.
I played Need for Speed Rivals on my laptop and the game ran without any problems (that was a while ago) but since then, a lot of softwares were installed into my laptop.
But today I installed Metal Gear Rising - Revengeance, and once I entered the ""Press Any Key"" screen, I opened Options and set the Graphic's quality to "Medium" and the rest of the graphics options were set to medium too
Then I started to play and it ran brilliantly (for like 5 mins) in that period I didn't notice any lagging or cutting.
But suddenly, the laptop's screen went black (it shut down on it's own!!) I didn't see any warnings before that shut down.
I'm really scared that if I try to run that game again, something awful might happen to my laptop, although before I ran the game I set the power option (in the battery's options) to ""Lenovo Dynamic Graphics"" cuz I thought doing that might make the laptop run the game using the graphic's card full capability.
should I be worried? or is there some sort of heavy task that could've caused that involuntary shut down?
And I don't think it overheated cuz its placed on top of a cooling fan.
    Thanks in advance.

    hi shehabo,
From this this benchmark result, your right, the Lenovo Dynamic Graphics power setting gives the CPU/GPU more juice to complete tasks in less time (kinda like an overclock). If your machine shuts down in this power setting (while battery or AC power), it's possible that the hardware throttled or used its overheat protection by shutting down the machine to prevent further damage.
If you have the G580 with an Nvidia GT635M, your machine may not be enough to run Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance as it doesn't meet the minimum system requirements.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance - System Requirements
In this case, the game may not run properly or stall while loading or playing (in your case, the machine tried to run the game but may have reached its limits when it got exhausted).
As for the Need for Speed Rivals, your system meets the minimum system requirements, thus, you encountered no problems running the game.

    Thank you for replying
As much as for Metal Gear Rising, I didn't notice any stalling or any cutting while loading and while playing. that benig said, my laptop should run the game perfectly normal. I had the same problem with Need for Speed Rivals on my PC, it kept overheating after like 5 or 15 mins of playing but the laptop didn't.
But as for the Graphic card,
when I open the Advanced Settings in the screen reslotion window it says: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000, but my laptop has the green "NVIDIA GEFORCE" sticker under the keyboard's numbers keys (I though that ment it has a powerful graphic card)

  • I'm scared.  Can you help?  I can't jump from here to there.

    Dear Apple MobileMe
I am very eager to make the move from MobileMe to iCloud, but...
As you can see from your own email, this is far from simple
My wife and I totally depend on my Macbook Pro (1), my old Powerbook that my wife uses (2), our iPhones (3 & 4), our iPad (5), my Time Machine, and my MobileMe (6), including Backups to our iDisk on MobileMe to keep our lives running.
iCal's synced across 6 Apple platforms
Address Books synced across 6 Apple platforms
Email synced across 6 Apple platforms (me using Mail and wife using AOL)
Bookmarks synced across 6 Apple platforms
Various apple ID's synced across 6 Apple platforms
    You get the picture
I would hate to mess this delicately balanced Apple computer ecosystem up at all.
iOS 10.7 requires that I upgrade a bunch of my key work apps and figure out a way to transfer a 10 year dependence on Quicken onto some other equally robust financial management platform that doesn't seem to exist.  Just to add insult to potential injury.
    I'm scared.
Wish this whole process could be 500% more automated.
We've been on Macs  and other Apple devices since 1987.  I can't keep track of all of my "Apple ID's" for this and that that you've asked me to set up for each device and for each service over the years.  Everything's registered with you.
    Devices
    MobileMe email aliases
    iTunes
    iDisk
    App Store
    AppleCare(s)
    MobileMe
    Apple.com support (here)
    Apple ProCare
    Apple iDisk Public folder
    etc.
    etc.
You should be able to gather all of my identities together into one place and figure out the best way to migrate me to the new Apple iCloud Garden of Eden.
You've got to find a way to help us work all this out.  It's more than intimidating.  We're frozen in fear.  We just can't jump from here to there.

iCloud is here Dear MobileMe member,
iCloud is here and you can now make the transition from MobileMe. You can move your
MobileMe mail, contacts, calendars, and bookmarks to iCloud, and keep your me.com and
mac.com email addresses. iCloud is a breakthrough set of free cloud services, including iTunes in the Cloud, Photo Stream
and Documents in the Cloud, that works seamlessly with your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac or
PC to store your content in iCloud and push it to all your devices. When content changes on one
device, all your other devices are updated automatically and wirelessly.
    Making the Move
Before moving to iCloud, make sure that your iOS devices and computers have the required
software and your data is properly backed up by following these steps:
    Get iTunes 10.5.
Download iTunes 10.5 to your Mac or PC.
Update your devices to iOS 5.
Update your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch to iOS 5 by connecting each
device to your Mac or PC and following the instructions in iTunes.
When you are asked to provide your Apple ID during iOS setup, use
your MobileMe email address and password.
Update your computers.Mac: Update to OS X Lion v10.7.2PC:   Update to Windows 7 or Windows Vista Service Pack 2 andinstall the iCloud Control Panel for Windows.
    Back up your MobileMe data.
For detailed instructions, review this article.
    Verify your contacts and bookmarks.
Verify that your contacts and bookmarks are completely up to date on
at least one device you will use with iCloud. They will be uploaded to
iCloud from your devices after you move. iCloud will not copy any
contacts or bookmarks directly from me.com.
When you are ready, go to me.com/move and follow the instructions to move your account to
    iCloud.
    Important Notes
If your me.com or mac.com email address is used with more than one Apple ID, you may be
unable to access some iCloud services. If this occurs, you can remove duplicate email
addresses from your other Apple IDs by visiting My Apple ID. You can also use different Apple IDs for iCloud and your Store purchases (including iTunes,
App Store and iBookstore). For more information and detailed instructions, review this article. You can make the move from MobileMe to iCloud anytime between now and June 30, 2012. For
answers to some of the most common questions about the transition, see the MobileMe
    transition FAQ. Sincerely,
    Apple
iCloud requires iOS 5 on iPhone 3GS or later, iPod touch (3rd and 4th generation), iPad, or iPad 2; a Mac computer
with OS X Lion; or a PC with Windows Vista or Windows 7 (Outlook 2007 or 2010 or an up-to-date browser is
required for accessing email, contacts and calendars). Some features require a Wi-Fi connection. Some features
are not available in all countries. Access to some services is limited to 10 devices. Previous purchases may be
unavailable if they are no longer in the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBookstore.

You are receiving this email from Apple to notify you of service information regarding your MobileMe account.

This is a user-to-user forum: you aren't talking to Apple here.
I do sympathize with your situation: you are among many for whom upgrading is impracticable, but who are dependent on MobileMe facilities which will be withdrawn next June.
As you say, you will need 10.7.2 to access iCloud on a Mac, and iOS5 for mobile devices.
I can't offer you any easy solutions, but this list may at least clarify the exact situation for you:
Your email, calendars, contacts and bookmarks, and 'Find my iPhone' will be migrated to iCloud.
Your iDisk, together with website hosting and Gallery. will continue to work as before until next June.
You will be able to access email, calendar and contacts on the iCloud website at http://icloud.com provided your browser is reasonably up-to-date.
You will not be able to sync contacts or bookmarks from a pre-Lion Mac.
You will be able to enter the server settings for email manually in the Mail application and access your email.
You will not be able to sync your calendars directly.
Some people have been able to set up calendar syncing by using the method detailed here - this is an unsupported hack and may not be reliable, and may stop working at some future point. BusyCal is an iCal-like calendar application with extra facilities: it can sync with the iCloud Calendar while running on Leopard, Snow Leopard or Lion.
There appears to be no method of syncing contacts (though Address Book on a Mac can be synced with Google or Yahoo address books - I don't know how reliable this is).

While it is against the TOU of these boards to speculate on future products/updates what Thomas said is right: FCPX is quite a new product and it doesn't make any sense to drop it now.
The only thing that MIGHT get dropped at a certain point is support for older hardware/OS as FCP X progresses.

    Dear Nick,
Thank you for contacting iTunes Store Support. My name is Noel and I'll be handling your request today.
I understand that you were not able to purchase in-app items from the game "Clash of Clans" when you clearly have enough store credit. I can certainly feel how important it is for you to have this issue resolved. Don't worry, I will be happy to help you get this matter sorted out.
Nick, I've checked your account and I can confirm that you do have $50.91 of store credit on account.
For me to further investigate on the issue, I would like to kindly ask you to reply to this email with a screen shot of the Apple ID that is currently signed in on your iOS device and also the message that you are receiving when trying to purchase in-app items.
Try these steps to see the Apple ID that is currently on your iOS device:
    1) Verify that you have access to the internet from your iOS device via Wi-Fi or a cellular network.
    2) Tap the Settings icon on your Home screen.
    3) Scroll down and tap iTunes & App Stores. The Apple ID that you're signed in with will appear.
To take a screen shot on your iOS device, just follow these steps:
    1) Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button at the top of your device, then quickly press the Home button right afterward while still holding the Sleep/Wake button. Your screen flashes and the picture will be added to your Camera Roll.
    2) To locate the screen shot, tap Photos and then Camera Roll.
    3) Tap on the picture you just took.
    4) Tap and hold your finger on the picture.
    5) When the Copy button appears, take your finger off the picture and tap the Copy button. The screen shot will be copied to your clipboard.
    6) Press the Home button, and then go to Mail and reply to this message.
    7) In your reply, tap and hold until the Paste button appears, and then tap the Paste button.
    8) Send the message.
Do let me know if there is anything else I can do for you Nick, as I want to ensure that this matter has been resolved. Thank you for being a valued customer of iTunes. You have a good one!

  • I just bought a new computer and when i click on itunes it says i need to install ASL.dll, but i'm scared if i instal it or reinstall itunes i will lose all the music i've bought from itunes, what do i do?

HHHHHEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i just bought a new computer and when i click on itunes it says i need to install ASL.dll, but i'm scared if i do or re-install itunes i will lose all the music i have bought from itunes, what do i do?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
The music is stored on the iTunes library. This library isn't deleted when you uninstall or reinstall iTunes, so you will keep everything. Anyway, it's better to make a backup of the library. Apart from that, you can download the purchased music as many times as you want

Thankyou if you can help; oh and last time i restored my iphone it didnt restore ALL the media only some and very improtant photos went missing :(

All media and apps on the device should already be in iTunes on the computer.
If you have forgotten the restrictions passcode, the ONLY option is to restore as new.
Then sync back any media, apps, contacts, etc back to the device.
You can not restore from backup as the restrictions passcode is included in the backup.

    Ah, but there's this caveat:
Apple will continue to evaluate the repair data and will provide further repair extensions as needed.
And a number of folks have found sympathetic managers and had the 2008 logic boards replaced, even after four years.

  • Scared to update to Yosemite, If it doesn't work can you get everything back?

I am currently on 10.6.8. I wanted to update to Yosemite but I am scared to because I do not want to lose all of my files. Is there anyway if it doesn't work and freezes that I can get all of my files back and 10.6.8 back? And if you can get them back, How? I am not that good with technology and I don't want to mess the computer up. Thanks for all of the help, Carl.

You will need to do a good backup (I'd suggest getting the trial of carbon copy cloner, and cloning, not copying, your entire system to an external drive.)  If you simply upgrade over the top of your current system, you are likely to find a mass of incompatible apps, which will need upgrading.
I'd suggest the best thing to do is the following
    a) do the backup (do it anyway, you dont want to lose your files for any reason, never mind upgrading the OS)
    b) check that your hardware is compatible with Yosemite (http://osxdaily.com/2014/06/03/os-x-yosemite-system-requirements-compatible-macs -list/ will tell you)
    c) IF its compatible and after you have made a clone or copy of your current system (even Time Machine would be a better option than nothing at all) you should do a CLEAN install of Yosemite.
    d) If the install goes OK and everything looks like its working the way it should, you could migrate your files and info from your clone or time machine.
    And cross your fingers.

  • Scared of buying a new Macbook - help!

Scared of buying a new Macbook!
I really need to buy a laptop due to a book I'm about to start writing, but after reading all the negative things on here about the new Macbook and Macbook Pro with overheating and this funny heat gel that Apple are dunking on the intel chips to try and stop them from overheating, I'm a little worried about spending my money on a new one and am more inclined to buy an older used iBook; perhaps a 6 month old one.
Okay, questions to put my mind at rest. I would rather have a more future-proof intel laptop, and I do like the widescreen resolution of the new Macbook as I can play back native 720x1280 progressive HD footage.
So, this dollop of heat gel, is it on the Macbook chip from the factory from new, or do Apple engineers just dollop this stuff on there when they get a overheating one returned to try and rectify the problem. If the latter is the case, surely this will only work until the gel dries up and stops having any cooling effect?
Will future Macbooks be sorted, if so, should I wait 3 months and by a revised rev-B type Macbook.
I've also read that the fans can rev loud.
I'm only asking as I bought one of the first iMac G5's and it was an overheating over revving disaster; so much so that I had to sell it on eBay after just 3 months as I could not stand it. I bought another one a year later that is fine; after Apple sorted the design problems out. I don't want to make the same mistake again.
    Advice please.
Oh, I love Macs, I have 3 in the house, iMac G5, intel Mac Mini and Dual 2 gig G5 tower. So I don't need convincing. I have been using Macs long enough to know that Apple tend to have teething problems with new gear, but when they sort it, it is simply the best.
    Thanks.

Hello, I can't answer all your questions, but just so you understand,ALL cpu chips (even the previous apple g4's and g5's), some video chips, etc. use the silicon grease as a way to carry the heat away from the chips to the metal heat sinks. Every computer ever made (well maybe not the original tube ones have this type of heat transfer technology in place so the chips don't melt down.
The comments about heat grease are mostly about how much was applied (with the belief that too much grease may not transfer the heat effectively), not whether or not it is needed. Recent articles on other web sites indicate that in some tests where the factory heat grease is cleaned and removed, then replaced with what some consider to be top notch grease, has only reduced the temperature of the case by 2 degrees. To be clear, this was for the macbook pros, where there seems to be even more concern by some about temperature.
By the way, this heat grease is designed to last longer than the computer it is running in. It does not typically dry out during the lifetime of the computer.
Should you buy the Macbook? Only you can decide if this makes sense. But there are a lot of other people on other forums (popular mac magazines, and rumor sites) who are quite pleased with the machine so far.
Personally, I would not buy a previous generation at this point.

  • Late 2007 MacBook question: scared to load Windows XP

I would really like to have Windows on this MacBook because of certain programs I need to run, but I'm scared to death that I'll screw something up. I have no real idea how much of the MacBook's HD will be eaten alive by XP and that scares me too. Has anyone done it and felt this same way? What did you do?
    Thank you.
    Tony

To clarify, I'm running BOTH XP and Win 7 RC in separate virtual machines under Parallels, so I can cross-compare them.
With Parallels Desktop running, I selected the 'Add a Virtual Machine', and inserted the Win 7 RC disk when prompted. Now when I start Parallels Desktop, I have two virtual machines to choose from, although I could set one to be the default machine started when Parallels Desktop starts.
I have a 320Gb hard disk, so I have plenty of space for multiple virtual machines, plus a 32Gb BootCamp partition for Windows XP. My XP virtual machine is 45Gb, my Win 7 RC is 8 Gb. Those XP size numbers include multiple 'snapshots' of the virtual machine, before and after recent updates to Parallels 4.0.
On my modest MacBook with integrated Intel GMA950 video using shared RAM, both Win 7 releases seem slow if I leave all the default video effects turned on. If I select 'best performance', I get something that looks much like XP without all the fancy stuff, but still seems a bit slower than XP. I don't have Vista to compare, though.
So far, I've only used the included Internet Explorer and an old release of PaintShopPro X11. I hesitate to waste an Office 2007 license, since Win 7 RC won't be the permanent operating system, and I already have Office running satisfactorily in XP.

Reinstalling Lion/Mountain Lion Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

Apple Senior tech lady deleted all my external drive data while sorting out other problem. How can I restore all my photos , music etc back to my Mac Pro?(I am so scared, I haven't connected iPhone to sync! Please help)

It was tele tech. I couldn't open my Page Numbers etc. Frist tech chat idiot - following dumping few things in bin, asked me yo upgrade to Yosemite. But the problem still persists. This morning I was asked to do it via telephone and like yesterday, after wasting 20 min, I was put to this apparent Tech Queen ( my foot!). She eventually decided to reinstall  Yosemite asked me to connect my external drive while I connected to her. She was moving cursor asking me to move files and delete and I followed her like a dummy. It took 3/4 hours and she called me 3 times once the lengthy process was completed. I suspected from the beginng for the fact that why should be asking me to click all my backup from the very beginning! Eventually she said I deleted... Or someone else or may be my children ! It was a blatant lie. I run my small business from home and I was simply staying in front of the Mac whole day! Children were at school. Then she said I must have used another computer! I only have laptop and the iPad. I will talk to their manager first thing in the morning. In the mean time please let me know as to how can I transfer photos, music etc back to my laptop from my Iphone and IPad .? I am will connect to laptop as I am worried the new BLANK iPhoto may supersede iphone/iPad stuff? Will it? Please let me know. I am not a very tech savvy person. My son who could help me, is in Manchester Uni and Inam in London.

Reinstalling iTunes simply replaces the application.  It shouldn't affect your media.  You do have backups, right?

  • O.K.  My computer is now scaring me.

As you may or may not know, my computer has been having display problems. First it would have a glitched display, then it began freezing occasionally. Soon after, it began freezing consistantly with only the smallest amount of graphic stress.
Now, it has done something that is making me a little scared. The screen actually turned itself off after the display glitched. The computer was still on because the music I was streaming was still playing and continued to play until I reset the computer.
If anyone has any ideas as to what is wrong with my computer, please post up something. My last two questions on this got someone theorizing about my video card, and another posting up a problem he had once (what is a cold boot?).

Yeah, sorry about that. Most of the previous message boards that I attend are deadset against bringing up old topics, so I developed the habit of starting a new one after previous topics had died.
I actually have confirmed that it is not a heat problem, since the behavoirs of the glitches do not follow the same behaviors that a heat problem would have. Display problems start up immediatly (freezes at the loading screen), and the computer get's better as the day moves on. Sometimes I even have days where the computer doesn't glitch at all, even after many hours of use and graphic stress. Other times, I can't even get the computer started.
Using an E-mac OS 10.3.9, 1.25 GHz PowerPC G4 Processor, 512 MB DDR SDRAM. I can't remember the brand of virus scanner I used, since I deleted it after I had used it to scan my files. I have had this computer for a couple of years
I don't know what other information to include.
