SCCP Unknown sessions
We have a problem where the SCCP get stuck in 'UNKNOWN' / 'inactive' state. we run 'show sccp conn' command to check it manually. Looking for a script where we check for 'UNKNOWN' / 'inactive' sessions every hour, if there are 'n' number of sessions, then it would send out SNMP trap. Example output shown from 'sh sccp conn' command -
#sh sccp conn
sess_id conn_id stype mode codec sport rport ripaddr conn_id_tx
53645003 50656921 conf inactive UNKNOWN 31106 0 UNKNOWN
53667104 50665149 conf inactive UNKNOWN 16976 0 UNKNOWN
53671501 50666736 conf inactive UNKNOWN 32456 0 UNKNOWN
Total number of active session(s) 3, and connection(s) 3

CM Services stand alone (Unknown session NWDI and grey components in NWDS)
Hello.
We are trying to configure NWDI in portal 7.3 using the following document http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-14706 however when Im trying the syncrhonize step (page 22) it shows me an error HTTP 400 Unknown session wherever I click in the sync page.
I dont know if it's because of this missing step but when I import this in NWDS the dependencies are empty and when I try to create a develpment it shows me greyed components with the mistake ( Software component does not support this development component type. Required DCs are located in an SC that is not visible from the selected one.). If any more information needed please ask me.
Thanks in advance.
Alex.Thank you !!! it seems that is solved now, it shows me some components good to go, eventhe less When I try to create a Wevdynpro it says "Support component (ACH) for vendor ''sap_com'' is required" Could it be because of some missing DC ?
Great answer thank you !!https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1536755
BTW that note lead me to this other one where I found this part that made the trick
Note 1536755 - DC type is grayed out.
What can be done?
Check in SLD if references from the developed SC to the found required SCs
exist. Create them if they are missing. . Update the corresponding track in CMS
by first syncing current dependencies from SLD to CMS ("Update CMS" in CMS UI
Landscape Configurator - Domain Data) and then adapting the track in "Track
Data" by using "Synchronize SC Dependencies" - "Show Software Components out of
sync with SLD", select all SCs shown as out of sync and press "Accept SLD
Definition" and then save the track. Switch to Transport Studio in CMS WebUI
and check in and import the corresponding SCA files. After that update the
development configuration in NWDS. -

Kindly Suggest Some Solution to avoid unknown Session Issue in FPN.
Edited by: Karthick Vijayakumar on Jan 25, 2012 6:37 AMHello Flo,
since this thread is 2 years old, I sure hope for Karthick, that the problem was solved.
If you have a similar issue, you should open a thread of your own and include the information, Mahendran was asking in this one and information about your portal versions, so that the other users can help you.

Error 100000004 Unknown Session when Company change on Addon
I am experiencing in some customers error "100000004 unknown session", when customer changes company, and Addon has to be reloaded in automatic mode.
Addon is developed under VB.Net running B1 SP00 and SP01 version.
error is aleatory, do not occur always.
Error is trigged when trying to connect DI-API under single sign on mode.
Somebody has any information of what can be causing this error ??
Thanks in advance,
WIllie BallestyHi!
I don't know what may be causing this error to you, I eventually get it once in a month or something. When it appears more than three or four times in a row, reinstalling the SBO client helps a lot.
By the way, have you tried to remove the temp folder the diapi is creating? maybe it has gotten corrupted
Hope it helps;

We have turned off all pop-up blockers etc..Hi, all:
I use dialog before wdFireComplete method than show the error message.
I fixed the program and solved my issue.

Facebook Security/Active Session Question via iPhone and Safari
I am running Mac OS 10.8.3 with Safari 6.0.4 on an iMac. On Facebook using Safari, I set up "Login Approvals" which would require a security code. However, every once in a while under the "Active Sessions" I noticed an unknown session from an iOS 6 device from a different location other than the state I live in. I ended that activity. As a test, I accessed my Facebook account using my iPhone 5. I noticed that under Facebook's Active Sessions on Safari on my iMac, it lists my iPhone device as being in a different state. Why is that? Is there some general iPhone setting that I need to change?
Hi, Thanks for the suggestion!
To look at the keychain sounds helpful to solve the problem. It seems top be a problem with accessibility. I will have a look. But I also have decided to extend my RAM - since it is very true 128 MB really isn't much.
Then for clarity:
I have not followed an email link to download the security upgrade, but I used the usual software update manager - I just didn't find the proper english description, since my eMac talks german with me.
I had had a look into some protokolls "system.log" - well I don't understand much what is written down there. There I might have got the confusion about the security server.
There are several lines with Safari, like this one:
date + time: localhost/Applications/Safari.app/Contens/MacOS/Safari:
InitializeDiskArbitrationMessages: DiskArbitraitionRegister failed 1102
The same is noticed about Mail
These messages are followed by several lines telling:
date + time: localhost lookupd[623]: NetInfo connection failed for server 127.0.0.1/local
But I am afraid, I don't really know what this means. -
Detail information of session list.
HI.
I'm just wondering if there is any more detail information of sessoin user list.
I can see user name and terminal and time that made of http session through trancation code SM04
but I also need to know which BSP page was called if possible.
because there are so many unknown http session exist and blocking make new connection.
I need to get rid of that unknown session but I can't find what was that session made from.
all bsp and WAD application is stateless and actually closed after executed when it tested indiviually.
I'm confusing what was wrong with this.
is there any view to see more detail information of session state? so I can get hint to solve this problem.
any extra information of session state will be helpful to me.
thanks. You may try DTW or Import from Excel for Item master data. That would be the only legitimate tools to do the update if you do not want to do manual input.
Thanks,

Including page in a region : best practice
Hello all,
I know that this subject has been already discussed many times but my question is not really "how to do it"...but "is it the best way"?
So the initial need was the following :
I had to be able to include the content from a page in an application into the region of another application using a generic solution that allows end user to configure easily what page he wants to render without having to use Apex.
For this :
1. I first defined a plugin that allows to render an parametrized iframe into a region.
2. I defined my plugin region on the first page that is linked with elements to define the parameters (page number to render, items and values to set on the page).
3. Then the user can easily change the rendered page on the first application changing the database row that specify the page id.
That is working pretty good but I would like to be sure that there is no proper solution because some customers do not really like the idea to have an application with embedded iframes.
I considered a solution using PLSQL dynamic region, trying to retrieve the page content using an HTML post in PLSQL. But it was not really a success. After fixing access issues, I just noticed that the page was rendering but nothing was functionnal on it (buttons, process...) because of the unknown session context.
I did not succeed to fix this.
I also considered to use an AJAX with htmldb_Get but I do not really like this in that case. Because I want the region to be displayed on pageload. Then that does not really seem logical to make a server call to render first the original page and them refresh the region content.
Moreover, I already used this in the past, and I also had issues about session context (processes not working and so on...)
Do you have any other idea? Do you think the iframe solution is the best one?
Thank in advance for your help and advices.
Best Regards,
MaxHello,
because some customers do not really like the idea to have an application with embedded iframes. How do the customers know whether you are using iframes or not. If you apply page templates similar to "pop-up" and if you use same CSS definitions as of calling application for embedded application, then they can't make it out whether is part of application or iframe calling another application.

Dell Latitude E6520 fails to boot after Windows Updates
Hello,
I have a Dell Latitude E6520 that is not starting up after Windows updates. It installs updates and requests a reboot, after which it blue screens at the splash logo and reboots again. This goes on indefinitely. The only way to repair it is to boot from
a recovery disk and run:
dism /image:D:\ /cleanup-image /revertpendingactions
This is after running dism /image:D:\ /get-packages and noticing that several updates are still in an "Install_Pending" state. These are the kb's that are pending:
kb2982378
kb2978742
kb2977629
kb2976897
kb2973112
kb2972211
There were other updates, but those showed as installed. I would post the WindowsUpdate.Log, but I do not see a button to attach a file and the log is very long. Here is what I think is relevant towards the end of the log:
