Scheduling PC twice a day

hi,
i need to schedule my PC to run twice a day:
once in the morning and the second time at noon, how can i perform it ?

Nir,
If you want to schedule periodically means daily, weekly or every 12 hours(hourly) you can do this from Process Chain start variant settings as already explained.
But if you want to execute 06:00 and 12:00 then you can do using those settings.
Its better to start process chain through an Event. create an abap program to raise an event.

User Profile Syncrhonization Scheduling twice a day

Client wants to schedule User Profile Synchronization from AD scheduling twice a day at 12.00 AM and 12.00 PM which includes any update in the AD photos also. How can I achieve this ?

You cannot set multiple single run schedules for timer jobs within SharePoint. You can only do one of the following:
Run every X minute
Run between X and N minute every hour
Run daily [between times]
Run weekly [between days/times]
Run monthly [days/times]
There is nothing in CA that will allow you to input 'run at noon and midnight', so the other option is to control it via PowerShell/Task Scheduler.

This could have been easily acheived, if only the requirement is tweaked a bit.
The current timings that u mentioned are like 6:30:00 and 18:00:00, the difference is 11 hrs 30 mins.
If you can make the difference to 12 hours, i.e make the first shcedule at 6:00:00 so that the difference would be come 12 hours. or change the second schedule to 18:30:00 by having the first schedule still at 6:30:00 even in this case the difference is 12 hours
Case1: 6:00:00 and 18:00:00
Case2: 6:30:00 and 18:30:00
If you can change the shcedule runs to any of the above cases, the solution is simple.
As, i said in my prev post maintain the value in Other period as "12" hours. and schedule the process chain with the time 6:00, so that the process run the second time exactly at 18:00 and again at 06:00 next day.
This simply means the process run every 12 hours and as per our timing requirement. There will not be any need of manual intervention and the chain runs exactly twice a day. You don't even need to reschedule manually. Just schedule once and the cycle continues...
As far as i'm concerened this can be the easiest way to implement the requirement.

I am trying to write a schedule to run twice a day, 7 days a week at 11.30am and 0.01am (i.e one minute after midnight).
I have tried setting the repeat_interval = 'FREQ=DAILY;BYDAY=MON,TUE,WED,THU,FRI,SAT,SUN;BYHOUR = 11,0;BYMINUTE=30,1';
However, this causes the job to run at 11:01; 11:30, 00:01 and 00:30. Can some please show me how to get it to run only at 11:30 and 00:01?

Unfortunately, your suggestion still causes the app to run 4 times a day, 11:01; 11:30, 00:01 and 00:30. I am trying to avoid writing two schedules but it looks like I'm going to have to.

You have been using MobileMe's email settings, which sometimes continue to work for a time after migration but then get turned off. iCloud's mail server settings are different. Strictly speaking Lion 10.7.2 is required for iCloud, and on that Mail is set up automatically.
Snow Leopard cannot access most of iCloud's facilities, however you can set Mail up manually to access your email. The method is described here:

In GATP would like to push schedule delivery date+1 day

Hi Experts:-
We have below requirement in GATP:-
Can we maintain a condition record for pick /pack time = 1 day against Shipping Point in particular Location.? In other word we would like to push schedule delivery date+1 day.
In APO we can see control data :- Plan (LEAD), load (LOAD), pick/pack (PICK), transport (TRAN), unload (UNLD)
In APO We have maintained value = 24:00 for location XXXX ( as per below steps)
1.     In the SAP Easy Access screen choose Master Data ® Master Data for Transportation and Shipment Scheduling ® Create Scheduling Step.
2.     Select a condition type.
3.     Enter concrete values for the key combination.
4.     Enter a duration (external display: hhhhhhh:mm).
While checking order, When the process branches into APO ATP, can see time 24:00 This seems to indicate that Pick/Pack record has now been found, but the scheduled delivery date is not being pushed out by one extra day.
Looking at the condition log in APO shows the following;;
Lead Plan:304 Access for Access sequence LEAD missing(Usage U)
Pick Pick : 208 Condition record has been found
Load Load: 304 Access for Access sequence LOAD missing(Usage U)
TRAN Transport: 009 Condition record is missing
UNLD Unload : 002 Access not made ( Initialized field)
Can you suggest.

How to schedule a job every day night 12:05AM EST in the KnowledgeManagemen

I have created the scheduler to run every day night 12:05AM EST in the KnowledgeManagement->ContetntManagement->Globelservices->Schedulertask. But it was running every day mid day at 12:05PM. I have created the new entry in the scheduler timetable as 'EveryDayAt2405' I have selected the Hour as '12AM' Minute as '5' and Time Zone-'GMT-05:00 (America/New York) Eastern Standard Time'.
Please help on this issue

I have fixed this issue to run the scheduler at 12AM need to select the 12PM . Internally it will take the 12AM as Zero hours

Oracle 10g Database Hanging twice a day

My database server has 10g with MS 2003 server as OS.
Twice a day the database hangs and does disconnects all the users from local and remote locations.
Current SYSTEM tablespace has a size of 470 MB and is 98.86 in use, when I try to add another datafile as 'SYSTEM02.DBF' in the same path where other system data files are, I kept this operation running during weekends but datafile was not added.
Has it anything to do with the MS 2003 server no. of users.
Any other suggestions for SYSTEM Tablespace to be free.

Sorry for the delay. Here is the attached alert.log file Since the data from foxpro was loaded into oracle on to oracle 10 g from 7th may the problem of database hanging started from the next day. I joined the organization on 22nd july.

Its all good, TimN8128! Mrhelper is corret with regards to making sure that mobile data is turned off when on WiFi or when not connected to WiFi, if you do not want the phone to access data services to update or refresh app services. These applications can all be configured by going to Settings and reviewing all apps that appear in that area. You can also configure a bit further by going to Settings>Cellular.

You said that you have upgraded the firmware, but after upgrading the firmware you didn’t reset the Router… So reset the Router, power cycle the whole network… Then follow the steps:
If you want to configure the router with the help of the CD so for that you need to uninstall the existing Cisco Connect Software from the computer if there...
Reset the Router and power cycle the network...Make the following connectivity – Connect the Modem with the Router’s Internet port and then connect the Computer with any one of the Ethernet port of the Router [Numbered 1, 2, 3 and 4]... Then install the Cisco Connect Software... It will help you in configuring the Router...
Otherwise you can configure it manually as well…For Let me know the name of the ISP [Internet Service Provider] – means the connection is a DSL connection or cable connection…

Very new in Unix and i got a requirement like writing a script and schedule it, so that it removes 30 days old files from all the log locations of a unix box.
Suppose i have a unix server ltbamdev1 and in this server i have a mount point opt/bam. In this mount point i have 3 different folders like
/ltbamdev1/oracle/install/product/10.1.3.1/OracleAS_1/opmn/logs
/ltbamdev1/oracle/install/product/10.1.3.1/OracleAS_1/bpel/domains/default/logs
/ltbamdev1/oracle/install/product/10.1.3.1/OracleAS_1/bpel/domains/support/logs
Please help me in writing a script which runs once a week and removes all 30 days old files from these three folder locations.

How complicate is to sustain the update SharePoint list programatically twice a day by using SQL job?
the data need to be update twice a day and it is going o be use to feed a share point form...where the user(S) will be choosing by lookup in infopath form.
BTW..I do not have control of the SharePoint farm, I have MS SQL 2008 R2 and SharePoint version is 2010.
Or Also I am considering to use MS access 2010 and SharePoint version is 2010.
