SCM-GATP- BAPI_APO_AVAILABILITY_CHECK

Hi
We are trying to use the BAPI: BAPI_APO_AVAILABILITY_CHECK for the purpose of reporting. When i try to input information in SE37 (as per the example given in documentation), i get the error that "no location found for rule strategy."
I am supplying this BAPI with this information, but still get this error.
Has anyone used this BAPI or has information on the same. Please reply.

  • GATP SCM7.0: what means "de-integration of BOPI from product view"

Question re-posted to" SCM --> GATP" (wrong group assigned)
Edited by: Thomas Schulze on Mar 4, 2011 11:20 AM

    Hi ,
Interactive BOP is still a function in SCM 7.0 and still is similar to earlier versions. Means, it still navigates to /SAPAPO/RRP3 (product view).
Only the selection screen/initial screen has been changed for /SAPAPO/BOPI. And, a new transaction code /SAPAPO/BOPIN has been introduced.
The only difference between /SAPAPO/BOPI transaction and /SAPAPO/RRP3 transaction is that the former navigates to ATP tab directly and the latter navigates to Elements tab of RRP3.
    Hope that helps.

  • Singles sales order shipping from  multiple plants in different lega entiti

We are a global Mfg and distributor of scientific instruments. Due to the complexity and delicate nature of these instruments we may need to ship product from as many a three different shipping points / plants that are each owned by a different legal entity.
Does SCM have any functionality to automate the co-ordination of the multi-plant shipment so that all the product can be shipped to arrive at the customer site at the same time ?

    Hi,
How do you plan to make the order entries? What is the criteria to ship the product from different plants?
Please clarify if you're talking about the same product being shipped from different plants or different products shipped from different plants? I can think of two scenarios because of  some ambibuity in your posting.
    1. Same product from different plants: If this is case, How do you plan to decide to split the order quantities  to be shipped from different plants into multiple lines in the sales order?
    2. Different products from different plants based on some criteria: If this is the case, I understand you will enter multiple order lines.
In both the cases, there is something called 'Delivery groups' in ECC that is attached to Correlation Profiles in SCM GATP (though delivery groups can be used in ECC stand alone) which will make sure that all the items within the same delivery group have the same delivery date, ultimate delivery date will be the latest delivery date of all the items.
Hope this is what you're looking for. If not, elaborate your requirement to help you better.

  • Availability information at CRM using ECC with APO?

    Dear Colleagues:
We are using availability information in CRM at ECC. Now we have a requirement to start using for some plant availability at SCM-GATP (APO).
We should do availability information at ECC and if the plant is using SCM do the availability information at SCM and if not, do it at ECC.
Does someone no if this is possible?
    Cecilia

    HI
Mania you can do this availability info up load from CRM to Apo SCM but you need to transport the Availability info from CRM to Apo or SCM with the help of basis ask u r basis to move availability info from crm to Apo or scm, while you can directly Delta Up load from CRM to ECC R3 Ac4 and You can make use the Availability info and you can read this at ECC.

  • Credit Card: Form of payment guarantee not determined in RV21A010

    Hi all,
I have a question in regards to credit card handling, and the determination of the payment guarantee form with the report RV21A010.
We are using R/3 4.6c in combination with SCM 7.0 where we are using global ATP.
    Scenario is:
    1. Standard sales order with credit card
    a. items with 2 different delivery dates but both within the
    authorization horizon of the CC
    b. both items have a sub item due to SCM gATP.
    c. successful Credit card authorization has been done for the one of
the 2 items which has the next mat availability date.
    2. For the authorized item, a delivery note has been already created
Requirement is now, to authorize the 2nd item through report RV21A010.
    Problem:
No authorization happens due to the missing form of payment guarantee
in the item to be authorized (only in the SCM global ATP subitem) at
the time where the system tryu2019s to perform the CC authorization
    Potential Reason:
Due to SCM gATP with each availability check, the sub items get
deleted, and newly created -> what should trigger a redetermination of
    the form of payment guarantee.
In this case this does not happen.
We applied already note 716010 to avoid the same problem after
releasing an order through the VKM* transactions - the cause of the
    issue is exactly the same.
Result: We need a solution that the form of payment guarantee gets
determined after the gATP check when using the one of the background
programs, but BEFORE the credit card authorization happens.
has somebody here some experience with this kind of problem?
    Thanks in advance!!!
    Stefan

    Hi klimb22,
Placing an online order should be a relatively easy way to purchase what you need without having to leave the comfort of your own home. As I can imagine you were excited to apply your My Best Buy certificate that you earned towards the purchase, it’s regrettable to hear of your recent unexpected troubles you’ve encountered after placing your order, and I’m sorry if we’ve failed to fully explain the charges and subsequent refunds despite your requests for assistance.
From my understanding, you are correct in that all My Best Buy certificates should be applied pre-tax. After confirming this with our My Best Buy experts here on the forum team, I’m not sure why you would have received conflicting answers from our phone support agents. In order to figure this out and clear away any of the residual confusion, I’ve sent you a private message to gather some additional information. You may view it by logging into the forum and clicking on the envelope icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

  • Queue Block (SMQ2) and no GATP invoking for Sales Order

    Hi,
    I am encountering two issues:
    - Every time I activate any integration model for customer, materials etc. it queues up in SMQ2 in ECC and on processing there it goes to the APO
    - When I create sales order it does not invoke the GATP screen. However, if I click onto the 'Item availability' button it takes me to the APO screen with a different check mode (different from the one maintained in product master)
    - On saving the sales order and then clicking 'Item availability' button again, I get the message 'Order do not exist'. Next, if I check SMQ1 in ECC I find the queue. If I try to re-process, I get the message "LUWs in status NOSEND must be picked up by the application.
Well, we have maintained X0 for the MRP materials, did CIF manually, and have udated the product master ATP view with new check mode. We have also maintained the distribution, RFC destination, change transfer settings etc.
Can someone please tell me as to what is it that controls the queue communication between ECC & APO or if anything else that is controlling this.
    Regards,
    Avijit

    Hi Santosh,
We maintained this settings in /SAPAPO/C4 in APO.
Also, we maintained Debug = 'R', Logging = 'D' (Detailed) and RFC Mode = 'Q' (Queued RFC) in CFC2 of ECC.
Even on changing the Debugging off in APO system to "Debugging on" / "Debugging on, Recording of t/qRFCs (NOSENDS)". I get the queue in SMQ2 of APO with status 'NOEXEC' i.e. no automatic execution.
    Another info:
The queues are CF* and for that we maintained like this:
In ECC (T-code: SMQS): Host id of ECC system is appearing at the 'Schedular Information' section and against the Destination of SCM system we maintained Host id of ECC system once again
In ECC (T-code: SMQR): Host id of ECC system is appearing at the 'Schedular Information' section and against CF* queue Destination with Logon data is blank
In SCM (T-code: SMQS): Host id of SCM system is appearing at the 'Schedular Information' section and against the Destination of ECC system Host id is kept blank
In SCM (T-code: SMQR): Host id of SCM system is appearing at the 'Schedular Information' section and against CF* queue Destination with Logon data is blank
In the light of these, is there something , that I am missing. Please let me know.

  • Error in APO GATP: Exception while scheduling activit & Internal error 0010

    Hello APO experts,
I am working for a APO project where GATP is used. At the time of sales order creation user is getting ,
The following errors / warnings are being returned by APO
W VV                   800 APO: Exception when scheduling an activity
E VV                   800 APO: Internal error: Item /000010
Has anybody come across such issues. Waiting for your replies.
    Regards
    Ravindra

    Hi,
This is a very generic error message but points to the scheduling. Goto your SCM system and check the settings for your scheduling. Do you use CPS - configurable process scheduling ? Then I assume an error in the scheduling schema.
Please check your settings and maybe userexits and provide us some further details.

  • What are the prerequisites for GATP and how to check SO in APO

    Hi
I've created a Sales order in R/3. for this the availability check is being done in APO(SCM). when I press enter it is going to APO(SCM).
now i want to see this Sales order in APO(SCM), what is transaction for this? and do i need to maintain any CIF model to see the Sales order in APO.
pls give me some note on this.

    Hello,
Please refer Building block of GATP, you will able to get systimatic way how to use GATP functionality in R/3 and APO as well as what are the settings require for it.

  • APO GATP Backorder processing -- SO's in R/3 not updating -- CIF problem

Issue: After executing backorder processing in APO, the update is stuck in CIF .. error (*"Inbound APOCLNT800: No IModel active for cat. Sale"*)
Note:  I am able to create SO's in R/3 and getting commit from APO.
After Saving the SO's the SO's are transferred to APO ( I am able to see the SO's in product view - APO).
I wonder where is the IM not active
    Appreciate your inputs

    Hi kitkat,
If this is a test of a new functionality, you might just have an old blocked queue.  Try deleting the blocked queue and then re-try the BOP.
If this is a new error for a BOP scenario that had been working previously, then check your deltareport.  You may have an order in SCM that for whatever reason is no longer being handled by SCM.  In this case, you only need to delete the order in SCM.
If these two tries don't work, then you need to start examining your CIFs to see if the product/location/sales ord/stock/ATP/etc etc are consistant with your expectations.  Don't forget, in the case of a GATP using location/product substitution, you need to ensure that all possible data that would be needed by BOP is being properly CIFd across.

  • GATP wrong allocated quantity in case of partial delivery or item rejection

    Dear Experts,
we're currently working on an gATP solution (ECC > SCM 5.0) which works fine except for following issue for which i kindly ask you for your great support:
    - When i create a sales order for 100 TO, the quantity is properly assigned in the respective CVC in APO. (Allocation shown in /SAPAPO/AC42)
    - Creating a delivery for this SO for maybe 70 TO does not influence the allocation (Allocation still shown in /SAPAPO/AC42)
    - Goods issue does not influence allocation -> so far so good ... until now i can always see the order and allocation of 100 TO in /SAPAPO/AC42. I cannot see the delivery in AC42 whereas i can see it in RRP3
    - Canceling/Rejecting the sales order item (no delivery for left qty) does release full 100 TO in APO instead of 30 TO which seems wrong as this impacts the whole product allocation (would be easy to create an order for 101, deliver 100, cancel order and have all volume available again). Same happens if partial delivery flag on shipping tab is set to B
    - If i undo the cancelation, the system allocates only 30 TO in APO again (diff. between SO qty and delivered quantity) -> seems incosistent and wrong
For me, i would expect following behaviour:
    - release only the delta between order qty and delivered qty when rejecting the order
    or
    - when creating the delivery, it should reduce the allocated qty of the SO to 30 (rest/open qty) and create a new allocation for the order for 70 to. Doing so, the rejection of the SO would correctly release 30to
i would really highly appreciate your input!
    Thank you,
    Martin

    Dear Maawdee,
I know its a genuine requirement but this  funtionality is not possible with standard GATP.
And i guess it is even un achievable with customisation.

  • Global ATP in multiple SCM Systems

    Hi Experts
Has anybody seen a situation where a single ECC system does a GATP check in two different SCM systems.  I understand that it is not uncommon to have one ECC system integrated with two or more SCM systems for different modules (one for DP, one for SNC, one for GATP, etc).
But we have a situation where we are replacing an existing GATP implementation with a new one (in a different SCM server). Business would like to do a pilot of the new implementation functionality from a risk perspective (scope limited to one plant in distribution network). During the short interim of the pilot, we could have a situation where one sales order could do a GATP in the 'old' server and another order does GATP in the 'new' server. At any time a single order is sourced from one plant, so at the minimum an entire order is availability checked in either of the two systems.
I believe that using the CIF ATP integration model, we can control which logical system the GATP check is done in. We will test this in a sandbox environment, but would like to know your thoughts. Appreciate any concerns/ watch-outs.
    Rishi Menon

    Hello Rishi,
It is quite possible to connect more than one SCM system to ECC technically. Business case will be little specific to customer requirements i.e having existing SCM systems for different business units.
GATP check can be carried out in different SCM system as you rightly mentioned based on CIF integration model. It doesn't create any issue. We have similar system set-up for internal use.
Only issue what I see here is, in case of RBATP, if you are using cross location ATP check, if will not give you desired results. Second issue will be for planned supply components, if material is planned in separate SCM system.
Such system set-up works fine when you are having isolated materials and location to plan and GATP.

  • BAPI_APO_AVAILABILITY_CHECK never returns successfully

    Hello,
I am trying to execute an availability check using BAPI_APO_AVAILABILITY_CHECK to perform an ATP check using our GATP rules. Per the documentation, I'm passing the following:
FIELD_CATALOG_IN: Relevant condition values, match what is passed when calling GATP from R/3 sales order creation
    REQUREMENTS_IN:
    REQUIREMENT_INDEX - 1
    REQUIREMENT_GROUP_INDEX_IN - 1
    POSITION_IN_GROUP - 1
    PRODUCT - Valid product
LOCATION - Valid plant with inventory
    LOCATION_TYPE - 1002
    ITEM_NUMBER - 000010
    ACTION_METHOD - A
    CHECK_PROFILE - Valid check profile
    SCHEDULING_INDICATOR - N
    TRANSACTION_TYPE - H
    RESULT_MODE - X
    REQUREIMENT_ITEMS_IN:
    REQUIREMENT_ITEM_INDEX - 1
    REQUIREMENT_INDEX - 1
    REQUIREMENT_TIMESTAMP - 200706071200
    REQUIREMENT_QUANTITY - 5.000
    SCHEDULE_LINE - 0001
Invariably, I get a GUID but also get the following 3 errors:
    - Requirements subgroup with index 1 already exists
    - Internal error: Item /000010
    - Check instructions /A does not exist for location/product [PROD]/[PLANT]
I get the same error messages regardless of the product/plant combination, and have debugged the R/3 call from sales order creation and am passing the same variables as far as I can tell.
The last error I find odd since it does find a check mode per the ATP log. I am not an ABAP guy so I am struggling here and would appreciate any guidance. Documentation seems very sparce on this RFC especially when using it in conjunction with GATP.
    Thanks!

    Hi Kumar,
Thanks for the reply. APO/GATP are both configured correctly, as the GATP check works fine when creating orders in R/3. The problem is I cannot get any results when attempting to call BAPI_APO_AVAILABILITY_CHECK using the same material and check mode, which I maintained in a requirements profile.
It seems there must be some "trick" to BAPI_APO_AVAILABILTY_CHECK but I am missing it!

  • APO GATP Location replacement

    Hi Gurus,
In APO GATP, location substitution works by first checking the stock in the base location (the location from where the material availability check happens) and if stock is not available in the base location only then it cascades/ substitutes to another location. But, we have a scenario wherein when material availability check happens it should straightaway carry the location substitution without even checking the availability at the base location; the availability check & delivery should only happen from the substituted location; backorder (open quantity) also sits at the substituted location.
Can you please give me the various customizing options to map the above requirement in SAP SCM?

Hi Bala checked various rules but didnt help - if substitution is successful then backorder option fails and vice versa. Our major challenge is for the open quantity, which has to reside only at the substituted location (and not at the base).
Rishi, tried flagging rules immediately but unfortunately doesn't help.
If my understanding is not correct then can you both please elaborate a bit on the mentioned settings.
    Thanks guys!
