Screeching noise when I plug it into charge
The problem started last night....I plugged the Iphone onto charge for its nightly top up and as soon as you hear the connected noise it started screeching. It does stop after about 10 seconds. I switched airplane mode on and this still happens. It was fine the night before, nothing unusual has happened in the 24hr period.
Tried different plug locations. Unable to try an alternative charger but will attempt to do so.

Thats right...the auxiliary......with which my 160 gig classic has no problem whatsoever in playback, seems to like to cause mayhem when it is my nano who is feeding it.

This is not the "hiss". This is rather, a horrible static-y-scratchy-screechy noise.
Few people in the other threads mentioned the built in FM tuner causing disruption with the car's connection..(seems the most logical explanation of yet)
On a side note, decided to return my iPad. Yeah I ate the $50 fee, but now i have got the funds for the nice iPad 2 with Facetime camera:)))))Do you by any chance have the volume limit set on the iPod?

Unfortunately, if you increase the volume of a song in iTunes, all you do is make it so that the maximum volume on the iPod is reached before the volume bar is at full. It won't make the iPod's overall volume any louder.
For example, if you increase a track's volume in iTunes by +100% then when it's on the iPod you will find that that track hits it's maximum volume level at about half volume, and turning the iPod up to full volume will not increase the volume any higher after this point. A track which has not had it's volume altered in iTunes will reach exactly the same sound level, although of course you will need to turn the volume level of the iPod to full in this instance. -
Is an electrical problem covered under the 1 yr. warranty for the iPhone 4? I heard an electrical "fizzy" noise when I plugged in my charger. Now my phone screen is black/black.

Whenever I plug my earphones into my ipod touch, it makes a kind of static noise, like a "Pop!" kind of. When I plug my Apple byte speaker into it, it makes that sound, too. I think this is normal, but I would like to know what this is? Please help. Thank you.
The earphones must be pushed very hard into the iPod. So hard, that the white part of the plug must touch the iPod in order for the external speakers to turn off. You will hear a click.
If you do a forum search, you will find this same solution. If it does not work, you will need to take your iPod to an Apple store or call the Apple iPod tech support if still under warranty or you have Apple Care. -
its just all black and wont turn on or show any light. ive had it for about 2 years now. its a ipod touch 5th generation and blue not sure what to be but it has everything on it thats so important.. i need help and im unsure about the IOS :/
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

It sounds like you are unable to see your iPod Touch screen, as it stays black but it makes the connection tone when you plug in the USB cable. Use these steps to resolve the issue with the iPod from the following article:

If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged. Learn more about charging iPhone and iPod touch, or iPad.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.

If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.

I'm able to plug it into my ps3 and the computer and it works, but when I plug it into the wall charger it doesn't work. I charged it with my wall charger all day but as soon as I connected it to my cable box it it only works with USB ports now. help me
I used it earlier that day. And I have an hd tv with USB port and it won't charge on that as well it. It works for my friends ipod tho and my charger does too

My ipod froze so I restarted it, but then it happened again, so I restarted it again, and it was fine but then it ran out of battery. Now when I plug it into the charger it, the Apple sign comes up for 5 seconds then disappears, it doesn't turn on or come up with the charging sign. Is it not going to work again, or is ther something I can do? Please help.
I have the same problem, and my Ipod turned off (when I held the home and power button)
but then when I held down the home button (after turned off) nothing happened, the screen is still black.

I have an Iphone 3gs and today I had taken some pictures and my battery was 8% i was looking at the few I had took. Then my phone died but when I plugged it into the charger and got it on I went to upload the pictures but they were deleted! All my other pictures that i have taken are still there, it just deleted the ones I took a couple of hours before it died!
I was just wondering if there is anyway of getting them back at all? and how common is this?Sounds like your iPhone was hacked to unlock and now updating locks back to the original carrier.

Sure appears to be a defective charge or maybe just the cable. Can you try another cable?. Have you tried other chargers? Who made the charger?

I am making multiple clips using Photoshop CC Timeline animation and audio.
Each clip has audio and animation, but some will plays on other PCs and some will not. Is there a 'setting' problem on the clip? Link or Embed? All are produced the same way.
