Script to add empty pages

MacOS 10.6.8, InDesign CS6, javascript
Hi - I'm often supplied with pdfs as spreads. From these files I have to create single page pdfs for imposition. I create a new, non facing page document and run 'Mulitpageimporter 2.5' to bring the spread into a page at x+3, y=-3, giving me a correct sequence of odd number pages. I then adjust the 'allow pages to shuffle' option allowing me to drag a new page into position to face the existing page containing the imported pdf spread and export to pdf.
This is okay for small documents, but I would like help with a script that would add the correct number of pages to the document (total document page number -2) and place them effectively as 'even' numbered pages eg every other page starting at page 2. If it could sort the shuffle option at start it would be good!

btw: I've now discovered the 'map to pages' option in the 'Mulitpageimporter 2.5' which improves efficiency of above, but again only practical for documents with small number of pages.

new page will create in sap scripts using new page command.
you have to set condition like after some number of records displayed in page new page has to be trigger.
ex:YOU HAVE SO MANY RECORDS FOR PRINTING BUT YOU WANT TO DISPLAY 100 RECORDS IN FIRST PAGE REMAINING IN SECOND PAGE LIKE THAT.
Here you can use NEW PAGE COMMAND .
IT IS OPPOSITE PURPOSE OF PROTECT AND ENDPOTECT.

How do I add PHP Script to an XHTML Page?

I am tring to add a PHP script to my XTHML page in Dream
Weaver. The tag starts <?php and ends ?>. I have uploaded the
script on to another site which I use for testing and it shows the
whole code not the intended presentation. I did read that the
server should support PHP scripts..I have been trying to research
it online however I have had no luck.
I have also tried publishing it to a local folder and it
still didn't work. I am really lost!!!
I am very new to building websites in dreamweaver so laymens
terms would be great!!

Add additional pages and remove pages in pdf form

Hi all,
I'm trying to achieve 2 things with my form:
How can I remove the first blank page (its giving me a headache)
How can I script the 'add page' button to automatically add unlimited additional pages (page 4 to be precise) to my form?

Hi,
If you select page1 and go to the Object > Pagination palette and change the Place from "Top of next page" to "Follow previous". The additional page will disappear.
To add new instances of page3, you need to go to the Object > Binding palette and specify that that subform is to be repeated.
Then in the click event of the add page button, you would have the following JavaScript (please note that "_" is shortand for instanceManager).
_Page3.addInstance(true);

After installing, boot holding down CMD+s, then when the prompt shows, type in...
applejack AUTO
Then let it do all 5 of it's things.
Fixes a lot of problems, and besides, if your Mac ever gets to the point it won't Boot... this is a life saver!
After you run that... let's see where we are.
BTW, several ISPs seem to have trouble with their DNS Servers lately, might try these insead...

Can't delete an empty page

I have an empty page between my title page and the first page of my script. I've tried the method suggesting in another post but it doesn't work. Anyone got any ideas???

Hi,
Could you please try the following-
1) Press Ctrl+A with the cursor on blank page and see if any selection appears on it.
2) If yes, modify your selection to include that page only and press delete.
If this doesn't work, we would appreciate if you could share your script at 'rjindal at adobe dot com' , so that we can look into the issue ASAP.

Crystal generates empty pages for a datasource with a lot of data

Hi, I hope someone have some hints to solve my problem with generating large reports.
I have SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework 4 32-bit installed on my Microsoft Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise Server.
Since I update Crystal Reports to 13.0.2.469 large Reports have only empty pages. If I print those Reports the data are visible, the report is displayed correct.
I solved the problem temporarily by setting SeparatePages to true for the CrystalReportViewer Control, but for the future I need the complete report displayed at once.
I would be very pleased about your help / hints.

My report has only one cross table in it. I can generate it for a dataset with 26 rows. If there are 27 rows the report is empty.
If I use a diffrent report without a crosstab only with repeatable sections and less data, I can make a select for 150 rows. That shows me 5 - 7 pages.
It also makes a difference how the page settings are. If I configurate a smaller border for the top and bottom border I need to change my select to select less record rows and if I configurate a greater border there can be more record rows.
Here an example how I can reproduce my problem:

Add additional page to Remittance Advice

Hello Experts,
I am working on Remittance Script.
In Remittance Advice , there are three pages, FIRST,NEXT and LAST.
I need to add additional page to the existing Remittance layout.
This page should show the additional data for all PO/SES related to the invoice and should be printed before the last page which just contains summary.
I am able to add the additional page with CONTROL_FORM but am not sure how to print the data
on it. I tried creating an additional main window but it says there can be only one main window (which already exists in the layout)
there can be multiple pages with the PO/SES data.
Requst you to please help me in this.

Hi,
Try to check for the Page name equal to your summary page in Main window and print the details which you want to present only in that page. You can use the symbol &ITCTG-TDPAGE& to get the current page.

Script that adds objects every 2ft.

So I need to make a script that adds an object every 2 feet around the perimeter of the page.
I really just have no idea how to start. If anyone could point me in the right direction, or show me an example of something similar being done, that would be awesome!
This is what I have so far:

What I've been thinking (and what I have) is to get some fixed amount between 2 to 3 feet. Then I divide the total x or total y by that fixed amount, and that tells me how many objects I'll need to add.
I feel like I'm heading on the right track, but making the elements seems to be the most challenging part. I have a function that makes the element I need, and the function is formatted like this: addCircle(page, top, left, bottom, right);
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

So far it only does one side, but this works:

It seems you are on the right track, but I'm a really curious sort of person.
How BIG are these 'pages' when you are going to have more than a single object on each side, spaced apart by 61cm!?

About:config shows an empty page

When I enter about:config into the adress box I get only an empty page. The about:config works normally on safe mode.
I have tried to check all boxes in the safe mode window, this did not help. I even manually disabled all add-ons and plugins, but this didn't help either.
Any ideas what to do?

Cannot delete empty page without deleting others

I have a page with headers and footers and two columns. When I try to add another page or paste a similar one from another document, it creates a new empty page in between them. So I have one section with one page of content and one empty one and another section with the new page with content. Whenever I try to delete the empty page, it deletes the one before it as well. I have switched on the invisibles and see that it has inserted a section break at the top of the empty page. However, if I delete this, my new page is gone. If I change it to a page break and try and get rid of the empty page, then the new (or pasted) page also gets deleted. I am at my wit's end. I am an Apple fan and recently changed my business to iMac and use iWorks, but did not expect silly issues like this.
Please help!

• I'm sure that you aren't using iWorks which doesn't exists.
• Insert a section break in the pair of "grouped pages" this will cut the group in two separate pages.
