I want a script which will run on Central Site, and give all the SCCM server names in the hierarchy.

I have successfully installed OSR and created WLS Domain using config.cmd. But when I try to start by command line (startManagedWebLogic.cmd osr_server1) I got the error "server is unknown". I have no idea what could be wrong.

Lumira Login Error "Check the Server Name and Instance ID"

Dear Experts
I installed Lumira Desktop and was able to connect to the
HANA Server.
Later while I was working the software hanged and I had to
shut it down.

How can I create a whitelist of banking websites based on the server certifcates of legitimate sites?

I want to configure FF so that I can optionally activate a whitelist of my legitimate banking websites. When the whitelist is turned on, FF should only be able to display those sites. When the whitelist is turned off, FF works as usual and displays all sites. I would create the whitelist by visiting my banking websites and somehow adding the server certificates of those sites to the whitelist. So the whitelist would consist of the server certs of my banking websites. When whitelisting is then turned on, FF would allow me to visit only those sites whose server certs match those on the whitelist. This would protect me against phishing sites. How can I do this? How to get the Server Name in Crystal

We created a Crystal Report that pulls images from a File Location at the run time and this File Location is different for each environment (D-Q-P). We are trying to automate the file location by the server name. Is there any function in Crystal Reports that we can get the server name so we know if it is D-Q or P system?

Hi,
There is no function in CR that can fetch the Server Name. That is something you need to provide to the formula.
If you're loading images from a location on the Server, you can always use a Relative Path. For eg: if the images would be stored in a folder called Images, then you can write a formula on the 'Graphic Location' for the OLE object as:
"/Images/Crystal.jpg"
This will load the image from the folder when it is run on D, Q or P.

I am familiar with the Object WDURLGenerator but I don't see a method to do that, all the methods require manipulating the received String. Is there a method to get only the part I've mentioned?

Did you reboot the TC? That is always the first step.
Reboot the whole network if that is not enough.
If you still have issues.. come back to us but generally the best way is to factory reset the TC and start over.
We need a bit more info on the whole network layout and what OS you are running. What model TC you have??

The other thing I notice is that when trying to connect to the VMM. It's trying to use domain\username, yet when I try logging in with domain\username via the SCVMM Console. I get the You cannot access VMM management server (Error ID: 1604).
I'm not sure if this is why I can not add the VMM to WAP. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello,
I am not sure about the answer but I guess these steps will solve your problem:
1) Log in to the SPF server by using an account that is a member of the SPF_Admin local group.
2) Open an elevated Windows PowerShell window.
3) Type the following commands, and press Enter after you type each command:
Import-module spfadmin
New-SCSPFTenant -Name Administrator -SubscriptionId 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000
4) Close the WAP Server Management Portal, and then reconnect to it to update all items.

Connection failed - The server "name" mayt not exist or it is unavailable..

I've been connecting my 24" iMac with my 15" MacBookPro either over the WiFi or via Ethernet for months to share hard drive space & to save time transfering files constantly.
But now, all of a sudden, I'm getting the following error message:
+*Connection Failed*+
+The Server "MacBookProName" may not exist or it is unavailable at this time. Check the server name or IP address, check your network connection, and then try again.+
After this, I succeded in being able to connect via Share Screen and via Web Sharing. It is only not working when I access through finder. Also, it's not letting me click on "Connect As..." so I can't check if it's entering the correct info too.
Both Macs are 10.6.6 and both have software fully updated.

New install Express on Win 8 can see the Server name but cannot see the instance

I am doing this over the phone with a client who is not sure what he is doing we have installed Ok the folders exist and we have enabled TCP/IP
The instance is MSSQLServer when we try to connect all we get is 'ComputerName' I am expecting 'ComputerName \MSSQLServer'
The user does not have administrator rights and he installed SQL Server without the administrator (I think, I am not sure he knows)
I am looking for clues as to what may cause the instance name to not appear

Could you please verify that if the instance name is not listed in “Server name” drop-down list of SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)? If so, does the instance list in the Local Servers tab in the “Browse for Servers” dialog?
If you cannot see the express instance in the Local Servers tab in the “Browse for Servers” dialog, the reason may due to SQL Server cannot get the appropriate registry entry information in the System Registry (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft
SQL Server\Instance Names).
To work around this issue, you can manually input the instance name which will be show in the Local Servers tab. Also make sure that right click on SSMS and then choose “Run As Administrator” to start it.
However, if the express instance is listed in the Local Servers tab in the “Browse for Servers” dialog, but not in the “Server name” drop-down list. Then if you have never connected with the instance name before, its entry will not listed in the drop-downlist.
Or if you have connected to server with a wrong instance name, you cannot see its entry the next time.

I never had problems before... I don't understand why this message suddenly appeared keeping me from accessing the shared folder on my XP based computer.

This means that your Mac is not seeing your WinBox, either by IP address (a series of four sets of three numbers which might look something like this: 192.168.001.010) or by name (usually a SMB connection, which would look something like this: 'smb://winboxname' where 'winboxname' is the name of your WinBox).

You probably have DHCP enabled on your home net, and your WnBox's IP address has changed because its old lease expired. That kind of thing is why you should set up your net to either have fixed IP addresses or to reserve a specific IP for a specific machine, or you should use the smb name instead of the IP.

See above. If you want to connect by IP address, you'll need to know the WinBox's IP. Go to your Start menu, select the 'Run' box, type 'cmd', hit Enter. You'll get the Windows terminal. In the terminal type 'ipconfig/all'. You'll see the IP address (and the MAC address, useful if you want to set up a reserved IP address). Ensure that the Mac is connecting to that IP. (enter 'smb://theIP' in the network connection box.)
If you want to connect by name, you'll need to know the WinBox's name. Right-click on 'my computer', select 'properties'. Click on the 'computer name' tab. There it is. Use 'smb://computername' in the network connection box.
