Script to populate email address in Order Header attachment

Hi Experts,
I need a help for inserting Order header attachment. We have email address of the customer stored in Order Header attachment in Short text / Long Text under the Category: Customer Email Address.
I need a PLSQL script which created the email address in the header attachment.

If you can't remember your security questions go to Express Lane , select iTunes from the list, then iTunes store. On the next screen select account Management. There, select iTunes store account security and write that you would like to reset your security questions and / or answers.
You should get an eMail reply over the next 24 hours.

How do you bulk populate email address in OD?

I have a thousand or so current users in our OD and want to populate their email address (it doesn;t seem to get done on creation)
Email addresses are needed for auto emails in collab services
I don't know how to take a, say, csv file of user short names and related email addresses and have the records updated
Any ideas?

The email address(es) itself will be created automatically and will be based on the users shortname(s) when email is enabled for that account. However I suspect you are referring to the email address field on the Info tab in Workgroup Manager.
I did quite some time ago write a utility that amongst other things did auto-fill this field based either on the users fullname or shortname fields. However it broke when Mac OS X 10.5 was released. (It would be I am sure be fixable.)
My utility was basically a GUI front-end to the Unix command-line tool 'ldapmodify', the scenario you would need to follow would be to get a list of user accounts, specifically their shortnames, and then have a script that for each one executes an appropriate ldapmodify command. You would be basically 'modifying' the ldap field 'EMailAddress' and setting it to the appropriate value.
You can run 'man ldapmodify' in the Terminal.app to get more details on how to use this command.
For those unaware, Apple's Open Directory is based on OpenLDAP which in turn uses LDAP and hence it is possible to access and modify many fields in Open Directory via generic LDAP commands. It is similarly possible to link other server software to via standard LDAP to Open Directory to authenticate users.

Set multiple email addresses for orders

Hi,
This mught be really straight forward but I can not for the life of me find where the option is. I need to send order confirmations automatically to a second email address not hosted by business catalyst. This will save me needing to forward every order that comes in and the head office can automatically get any orders without me needing to do anything.

Your best bet is to use a workflow for this. You can set a workflow up to be triggerd upon purchase or quote by a customer. Just create a new workflow by logging into your BC and going to System Settings > Workflows and clicking the New Workflow button. On the first step of creating the workflow you click the "Orders" checkbox.
You can set your new workflow to email your main email address and also set it to be send to other email addresses as well. You might already have a workflow that deals with Orders already, so double check to see if you already have a workflow setup for Orders and you can just update that workflow step to send it to other email addresses.

Using variables to populate Email Address, Subject, and Body

I am trying to setup a for to alert contractor when their service calls are completed. I would like to use the email address, Subject, and body from fields on the PDF form.
On the Button I am using the following Click / Javascript

Nothing happens when I click the button with this code. But, if I drop the last comma from:
rBody, "", "",
It will send the email with the correct email address and it will include the subject like I want it. It will just not populate the body section of the email.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had a similar requirement and but took a different approach for a request/reply model. There are two fields on the form that the request fills in that directs how the submit button will work for the responder...
RequestFileType (This can be PDF, XML, or XDP)
RequestDestination ( This the URL, FTP site or email)

Fillable Form, script for verifying email address

I am trying to write a script so that in one of my fillable areas I want to ensure the email address is correctly inputed.
example *@*.*
I don't care about the first name or the domain just that the end user inputs it correctly.
example [email protected] and not abc@domaincom or abc@domainnet etc....

Autofill - email address priority/order

Not a big issue, but out of curiosity I thought I'd ask. Is there any way to change the priority or order of email addresses when using autofill?
For example, I have a number of email addresses that are in the format [[email protected]]. So as soon as I type the first "J" in "John" a list of all the domains where I have that email appears. I can't seem to reorder the entries in address book, and it doesn't go in alphabetical order (@mac.com comes before @gmail.com).
Sure its easy enough to just select the desired one, this isn't really a problem, but it would be nice if the most frequently used address would be the default to autofill first (not literally the most frequently used, just my designated first choice. Not looking for "smart" autofill).
Somewhat related, its also annoying that when a form has redundant email address entries, which is pretty standard these days, I can select the desired address for the first entry, and when I hit tab to move the "confirm email address" entry, autofill uses the default @mac.com address, even if I just entered a different domain. Don't think there's any way to fix this though, I guess you just have to use the default autofill address if you want them to automatically match or type manually.

Under the 'Window' menu is a command to view previous recipients. You can then see all your previous recipients and delete and addresses that aren't valid anymore. I don't know if this will work for incorrectly typed addresses, but you might want to give it a try.

How do I get my email addresses as one heading, not as 4 as I've got now

I have set up Thunderbird with my email accounts, but they are coming up individually, instead of being listed together. On my laptop I have it how I wanted it, with no email addresses present when the 'inbox' is showing, the mail is correctly obtained and put into the local folders. i.e. junk in the junk folder, deleted in the deleted folder etc. I still can't work out why it's playing up. Can someone out there help me please.

Go into 'offline' mode to stop further access to server. It is important that you perform all changes and restart Thunderbird before you get any new messages.

* Move all emails out of the pop mail account folders into suitable folders in Local Folders account.

Script for gathering email address from my computer

Hi, I'm a noob around here, but a mac user for many years.
I am wondering if anyone knows of a way to gather email address from my computer. I havent kept my address book updated by saving people's email addresses, but I know they are there in old messages I've sent and recieved.
If anyone has or knows how to easily make an applescript that will complie all of the addresses on my comp into one neat text file, please let me know. I just got a program called direct mail, and i want to set up different mailing lists to get in contact with my people about upcoming events and whatnot.

I will try that.. but I still want to actually try to gather EVERY email address in my computer, even, lets say, addresses that were in the CC of things sent to me. I'm not a hardcore spammer or anything, but i have a few events a year that I want to let all my people know about, so I think I'm looking for some kind of script to cull ALL of the addresses in my computer. HI, I don't understand - Seemingly I can't have an any type of PRIMARY Apple ID that has an apple ext. Instead I have to use a work email or even worse a google, android, MS email for my primary address to work - What is the point in directing customers to competitors? I already tried Apple direct but I didn't seem to get a conclusive answer to my question.
Also why can't you password protect the email app on the ipad or iphone? Its really frustrating that my email is availble for anyone to see once the screen password is bypassed. And yet my laptop (which I only use ironically) continually asks for my password once I have closed down.

You cannot delete an Apple ID, you can only choose not to use it. Also, your @me.com address is associated with this ID and cannot be moved to another ID or be used to create a new ID.
All you could do is create a new ID using a different email address with your name in it. If you do you will have an associated @icloud.com email address.

FF10 Mailto links to gmail no longer populate email address, subject, or body.

I click a mailto link and this same link (craigslist links) has always populated email address, subject, and body. Now it does not do any of that. Anyone know what the problem might be?

Sap email address to receive PDF attached

Hello,
I read that you can send an interactive form (in xml or pdf) back to SAP and integrate it directly into SAP.
I saw that you can get the attached file :

But what I don't understand is to what email address it is supposed to be sent, and how check if it is well received in sap.
Is there a "generic" address for sap inbox, and a transaction where I can check this inbox. And how do I write in the program that I want to get email from this address.

you will have to set up inbound mail in your SAP system. The SAP System will have an own subdomain or own addresses that you mail server will recognize and send it to your SAP system. About setting up inbound mail please read SAP note:

After the mail arrives into the SAP system you can define which addresses will need special inbound processing. >> This is what you already found.
The inbound mails can be found in Tr. SOIN in the new releases.

Email address list order

How can I change the order on which Mail shows my list of email adresses? Curiously, it has putted the less important ones on top...

There is no built-in means to re-arrange the order in which the accounts are listed. The iPhone lists the accounts in the order in which they were added to the iPhone.
If you really want them listed in a different order, you can record your settings for each account, delete them and re-add them in the order you would like them to appear.
