SCSM Report: List report contaning both IR and SR

I want to create an report which contain list of both IR and SR in one report.
Can someone send me query of this.

There probably isn't an easy way to do this. While they are both Work Items, they are largely different in their construction, so you would essentially need to pull incidents in one way, and service requests in a different way, and then merge the similar
properties into a common table format.
I'd be glad if someone would correct me on this, however, as this is a common request from my clients that don't have a strong service book definition. as much as I disagree with the underlying assumption that all requests are somehow inherently interchangeable
and should be considered as an amorphous homogeneous mass, that doesn't stop people from wanting it to be true.

  • Ad Hoc Query - reporting on both PA and OM data in same query.

    Is it really not possible to report on both PA and OM in the same query?  Does the two different infosets prevent you from doing this? 
    As a workaround I can run two separate queries and just join the data using Excel.  However - I'm having some trouble using the OM infoset.  I have a list of job ID's and I'm trying to report on the job short text and the "duty code" which is a custom OM object.  Is there a way to add this custom object to the infoset? 
    Also, I'm finding it difficult to report on the relationships as "Object" is always listed as an output ONLY.  Is there a way to make it available as an input?

    If you are using logical database PNP, then you can try to add infotype and check the option 'Infotype of related objects' .
    This will allow you various HRP tables to add to your query by the relationship.
    If you check responsiblity you can use relationship B007 and selecting 1000 would give you the short text and long text of the ID.
    This is a very good option available for PNP database.

  • Form report with both edit and column link

    hi experts,
    How can we create form report with both edit and column link. Ie, the form should have both the Edit link and column link. When we click on the edit link(in page1) it should go for the page2 and the page2 should display the corresponding row fields which should be editable. but when i click the column link it should bring me to the next page but the corresponding values of the column should not be editable.

  • Tall report in both HTML and PDF

    Hi,
    I have a report in 10.1.2.0.2 with three logical parts; a header (logo, column titles), a body (actual data) and footer (column sums, some texts). At the moment I'm just using the main section (not header/trailer) but I'm willing to change.
    Depending on the parameters the report will give 1-20 pages (if I was to print them) of output.
    I would like to offer both HTML and PDF output but I'm having some issues.
    If I set the height of the main section to 25 centimeters/10 inches and run the reports with parameters that produce 2 pages of output, I will get two pages i the PDF perfectly. The HTML will then get a seam (empty row) after 25cm/10In and then continue. The problem is that the second part of data is in a separate html table, making the columns not aligned to the first part.
    So, PDF OK, HTML ugly.
    If I set the height of the main section to 250 centimeters/100 inches and run the report again the HTML is fine. One long table and therefore consistent columns.
    Now the PDF consists of only one page. It looks fine but after the last row I can scroll down much more as the PDF "page" is really tall now.
    So, PDF ugly, HTML OK.
    Any suggestions for acheiving a nice result in both PDF and HTML?

    Now the customer has decided that they want the header on each page...
    So now I don't need to use your solution but it's good to know how to solve it.
    Fortunately (?) I've got a new problem now.
    If the output spans two pages I now get one head, the first part of data, head again, rest of data and foot. Fine.
    The problem is that the columns of head and data on page two are not aligned with the ones on page one.
    So head and data always align, but only withing the page. Page two might be much wider than page one.
    This is is HTML output and the frames are set to horizontally fixed.
    Seems to be the footer. Didn't help putting it in a horizontally fixed frame of it's own.
    Suggestions?

  • Contacts list deleted on both Iphone and macbook at sync

    My whole contacts list randomly got deleted after sync from both my computer and iphone. How can I get them back? Also strangely the people in my favorites are still there but are listed as only phone numbers and not names. What happened?

    You're not the only one, M. Boudreau. Today I noticed that I had multiple duplicates throughout my iPhone list of contacts. Some were true duplicates with all the originals info and others were just the name and no other info. I promptly started deleting them by hand. I plugged my phone in and it synched with my computer (a PC running Windows XP with Microsoft Exchange). Then, when I went to dial someone, their contact was suddenly missing. As it stands now, all my contacts from the letter E and higher are deleted. Of course, being synched with my desktop, all I have left on my desktop now is what was left (some of A through D) on my iPhone. HELP!!!!!

  • Error trying to print report to both pdf and network printer

    Hi all,
    When trying to print a report to my network printer or to pdf I get the two errors attached, one right after the other.  The resulting pdf or hard copy has almost everything in it, except for three tables which are completely missing.  When I go back into the report and open the page with the missing table, the table is no longer visible in the report and I get the second error again.  Exiting and restarting diadem brings the tables back.
    I've found several threads about pdf and other print errors and tried the solutions there to no avail; specifically the one posted here.
    I hope there is a fix to this!  These reports are intended to sell management on diadem! Thanks!

    Just to make sure, do you have administrative privileges for this machine?
    Also, you have attempted these exact steps as posted by lerman?
    Make sure that you are logged in as Windows administrator.
    Click the Windows button and click Printers.
    Right-click the Diadem pdf Export and select Properties
    Click the Ports tab, then click the Add Port button.
    Note: If the Ports tab is greyed out, right-click the Diadem Pdf Export icon and select Run as admin.
    Select Local Port and click the New Port button.
    Enter PDF1 for the new port name and click OK. Close the Printer Ports window.
    Put a checkmark in the box next to the PDF1 port if it is not already checked.
    Click on the Advanced tab.
    Select the Spool print documents radio button to make the options below it clickable.
    Clear (uncheck) the box labeled Enable advanced printing features by clicking it.
    Select the Print directly to printer radio button to make the options below not clickable.
    Click the Apply button, then click OK.
    Important: In order for the changes to take effect, you must restart your computer.
    Reboot your computer and then try to print, email, or create a pdf from Diadem.

  • Displaying both Hindi and Arabic numerals in Oracle 10g PDF report

    Oracle experts told us to ask “In how many ways we can do it in oracle?” instead of asking “Can we do it in Oracle?” , I need ONE way to solve the following problem, it toke to much time and I don’t know if it can be solved !
    The problem:
    Can we print in - Oracle 10g reports - a PDF report with BOTH Hindi and Arabic numerals?
    Well, at design time everything is fine, you can use right-to-left, left-to-right and the print preview is showing BOTH Hindi/Arabic numerals fine, but when I tried to produce it as a PDF, unfortunately its not, means its either all Hindi or all Arabic numerals !
    I tried everything possible, environment variables: NLS_LANG, REPORTS_BIDI_ALGORITHM, and REPORTS_ARABIC_NUMERLS, setting Digit substitution to Context in windows regional settings, uifont.ali is modified properly according to metalink note, but nothing solved this issue!
    I noticed something, when I used the DESTYPE=printer and DESNAME=PDF995 (one of the PDF printers) , it worked fine , means the problem could be in the generic PDF generator of the Oracle reports server,
    But even with PDF995 you still need to feed the file name, which is not suitable for multi-user environment that need the report to be displayed via web browser.
    Does anybody face this before?

    Use transaction code <b>CJI3</b>. When prompted, input controlling area, and on prompt for DB Profile, input <b>000000000001</b>. Input the WBS element in its field and execute. Once the report is displayed, Use the "<b>Change Layout</b>" icon to select the fields "<b>Value COCurr</b>", "<b>Value ObjCurr</b>", "<b>Value TranCurr</b>" etc. pull these across from the right hand side to the left hand side using the directional arrow. Press "Enter". The figures would now show in the report for the various currencies.

  • Report writing with Department and Accounts in rows

    My client, BPC 10 MS, has a reporting need both Departments and Accounts being in the rows.  For example, in the photo below the first two rows are departments, the third is a group of accounts and the fourth is a department.  And then a subtotal is needed.
    I am thinking a heirarchy will help but this is accross dimensions.  Then I thought maybe copy the data to a different grouping of accounts to facilitate.
    Any ideas or suggestions.

    The report will not be static.  Here is what I did for one section of the report. And may have to do it for others as well.  Their are additional requirements that will make this a challenging one as well.
    I made two reports: One with projects in the row axis and one without.  I then used the formula in the function bar (as a local member) to summarize the data.
    What do you think?
    An additional requirement is that in one section I will need to have NET_SALES projects as ALL and the license revenue expanded.  Can this be done in one report?

  • Reporting commitments for IO and Cost Centre

    I need your expertise please ..
    When reporting on a cost centre's commitments in Y_DEV_17000159, the commitments posted to the internal order (which is also attached to the cost centre) does not appear in the report.
    However, when I do a report on the cost centre only, it shows commitments except the IO. And when I execute a report on the IO, it shows all IO commitments.
    Is there a way to report on both IO and cost centre commitments in the one report?
    P.S. the order does have Statistacal Postings enabled.

    Hi,
    When you post to Real internal Order, and Cost Center.
    The Internal Order will take precedence always.  Cost center posting will become statistical.
    To your question "whether IO and Cost Center co-exists in one transaction?"
    Yes, very much, many cases this happens normally for transactions related to marketting campaigns etc

  • Delivery report shows status of Pending for external address. Email sent to both internal and external addresses.

    We have an Exchange 2013 on-premise server and seem to have an issue with emails sent to internal and external users at the same time.
    The issue came to light because someone sent an email to 44 recipients, of which one was internal. None of the external recipients received the email. I checked the delivery report in the EAC and found the internal email marked as 'Delivered' and all of
    the external ones marked as 'Pending'. I checked the queues and there were none. I did some testing and sent an email to just one of the external addresses on the list, it arrived. I tried sending the email again to all of the recipients, the external ones
    all showed 'Pending'. I tried it again, but this time excluded the internal email address and all of the 43 external emails were immediately delivered.
    So it seems that the issue only arises when we are sending to both internal and external addresses.
    I then tried a test email to one internal address and one external address. The Delivery report says that the internal address was delivered immediately, while the external address is 'Pending' and gives more information saying: 'Message delivery is taking
    longer than expected. There may be system delays. For more information, contact your helpdesk.'. To add further mystery to this, the email was actually delivered.
    So, I have two concerns:
    First is seems that some emails sent both internally and externally are only arriving internally. This is a huge problem because I don't know how many have been affected. There may be many lost emails we don't know about.
    Second, it looks like I can't trust the delivery report. It says pending for some emails which didn't arrive, but it also says pending for some which did arrive. That is no good at all.
    For info the server is running Windows Server 2012. I have run a Microsoft Update to check if there are any to apply and the only Exchange one is a spam filter update, which I doubt has any bearing but I will apply when I get chance.

    It has the similar situation as yours.
    This issue occurs because a function in a message tracking component tries to obtain the information for the recipient instead of the external recipient.
    Please try to upgrade to the latest Exchange update to check whether this issue can be solved.
    Also please check whether Throttling has been set.
    Please run "Get-TransportService | fl" to check the MaxOutboundConnections parameter value.

    Client would like to use one report as both an uploadable report and as a read-only report, depending on user.
    Is there any way to have a report which gets security based on the user making the request, say, by hiding the upload button for the user without the rights to it, or by validating before the upload occurs?

    ThisWorkbook.InterlaceSession.Username ---> This will return who is logged in.
    Similarly you also have other properties like
    ThisWorkbook.InterlaceSession.IsAdmin
    ThisWorkbook.InterlaceSession.IsOwner
    ThisWorkbook.InterlaceSession.IsParticipant
    ThisWorkbook.InterlaceSession.IsApprover
    Based on these you should be able hide update changes button with simple VB code.
